We had so much fun on our tour with Lourdes, learning about basque culture whilst soaking up the atmosphere at each bar and felt SO taken care of - it was a real highlight of our trip. The following morning Lourdes sent us incredibly thoughtful recommendations for the rest of our time in San Sebastian, and for our trips to Hondarribia and Biarritz too and we made it our mission to tick off as many of them as we could. We booked a tour with Lourdes on a recommendation from a friend, and it was the highlight of our trip to San Sebastian! Lourdes is an incredible culinary expert, historian and proud Basque local. She tailors her tours to ensure that her guests enjoy an authentic array of San Sebastian cuisine custom suited to their tastes. Between the amazing food, fun and educational conversation, and over-the-top hospitality, we could not have asked for a better experience. It is not hyperbole for me to say that her tour is among the best I have taken anywhere in the world!

We booked a tour with Lourdes through Airbnb, and it is the best Airbnb experience we've ever booked and is already a top highlight of our honeymoon. Our tour was given by Lourdes, a local who was born & raised in the old town and who knew every local we passed by. She would weave together history, stories, and charisma while hopping between pintos bars, where we had a private table reserved for us every time and incredible rapport with every bar owner. This is not a fixed menu experience - Lourdes customized everything to our personal tastes, happy to mold the food, drinks, and bars we visited to our preferences. This felt like spending an afternoon with an old friend. She even followed up with an incredibly detailed personalized list of recommendations for our next two days in San Sebastian without us asking. While on our tour, Lourdes had tables next to us asking for her contact info to take tours of their own. 10/10 just book this tour, she's amazing

Wow what a wonderful tour with an amazing guide. Lourdes showed us around the old town of San Sebastián while feasting on pintxos and savoring delicious wines from the area. Lots of stories of this incredible Basque city which made for an unforgettable evening. We were a family of five and fun was had by everyone. We had an incredible family experience and we highly recommend Lourdes to anyone who is coming through San Sébastien and loves food or learning about this unique culture! We had an absolutely amazing food tour with Lourdes. Perfect way to experience the real San Sebastián within a few, very fun hours! Lourdes took us to 5 different spots and recommended many different dishes at each place (none of which we would have ordered on our own) along with wine or soft drink pairings. Everything we ate was delicious! Not only is Lourdes so knowledgable about the gastronomy of the area, but she gives you a full history of San Sebastián and the basque region. I could not recommend Lourdes more highly. A true local who clearly knows every pinxto bar and every pinxto bar owner in town. She is kind, generous, knowledgeable, and most importantly, fun! It is clear that she truly has a gift for hospitality and a real passion for food and wine. I'd recommend the tour on the early part of a visit since she is helpful in orienting you to the city.

Lourdes was everything you would hope for in a tour guide. Warm, fun, engaging, passionate about her city and the food. She was quick and efficient as she moved us in and out of crowds and brought us the best pintxos each restaurant had to offer. She knew what to order to give us the flavors of San Sebastián. She also happened to have been on an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s food show, which was a fun fact and made us feel even more like we were with an expert. I would recommend her to anyone and would happily join her for a meal or a tour anytime.

What an AMAZING experience! Lourdes took us on a 3.5 hour pintxos and wine tour, delighting all ages with her stories and knowledge, and then shared recipes so we could try at home. Tour featured 5 stops, multiple pinxtos as well as cider, 4 glasses wine and one dessert wine... We could barely eat dinner that night! Fun fact, Lordes appears in the Anthony Bourdain episode on San Sebastian.
