What a wonderful time we had at Biarritz, Bayonne and St. Jean de Luz. Breathtaking sceneries and great commentary by Diego, our guide, who expertly scheduled the day and told us the history of each place. I’m so glad I made the right decision to book with this agency. I highly recommend this agency to everyone who wants to visit and know more about the Basque region.

Jaime hosted us for an exceptional city and pinxto tour. We spent a very interesting day learning the history of San Sebastian and sampling its delicious food and local wine. I definitely recommend this experience. Jaime is a wonderful guide.

While recently visiting San Sebastián with my 85 year old mother we had a 3 hour private food tour Diego from Feel Basque Country tour . He was absolutely lovely and accommodating of her speed and need for seating etc. He also custom tailored the tour according to our food preferences and desires to try certain dishes. Diego is a local and also provided so many interesting details and historical insights about the city and its food customs and culture . It was the highlight of our trip! This past September my wife and I spent a number of days with Diego. Probably a total of 20 days and he was an absolute pleasure to be around, extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and trustworthy. We consider him part of our family and would not consider using the services of anyone else. His advice was always spot on and we had such an enjoyable time with Diego we are in the process of booking another trip to northern Spain next summer. We had a truly memorable day with Diego and our friends on a Rioja wine tour. Despite being a Sunday (and many wineries being closed), Diego was able to secure personalised experiences at two wineries where we were able to take our time, understand straight from the family about their excellent wines, the history of the vines and the incredible flavours they produced depending on the grape, mix, weather of the vintage year and the microclimate of the plot. It was awesome seeing the ruggedly wild and beautiful scenery of wine country, and going from the lush green near San Sebastian to the drier climate of the Rioja with the stunning mountain ranges in the distance all around us, which helps maintain the perfect conditions for wine production (as we learnt today from Diego!). Lunch was spectacular too! It was a great way to wind down together and the lamb was out of this world good. What we really enjoyed most though was getting to experience and understand Basque country and heritage from Diego. Throughout the day, he shared interesting information about the area, the history and about winemaking. We felt like he made sure we had a great day from start to finish and read our vibe well, so we were on the same wavelength. Eskerrik asko, Diego!

Did the tapas tour with Diego. He showed us the highlighted tapas. Not cheap but you get quality tapas. Easy to talk to.

We joined Feel Basque Country for two days — Bilbao and the Basque coast, including San Juan de Gaztelugatxe — and it was unforgettable. Our guides combined history, culture, and landscape beautifully, making the region come alive. The thoughtful touches stood out too: pintxo recommendations in San Sebastián gave us the perfect final taste of the city before we left. We came for the food scene but discovered so much more. Highly recommended! We will return!

Another wonderful trip to the Basque Country. This time we decided to take a family trip and base ourselves in the French Basque countryside. We spent two lovely days with Diego exploring the historic and beautiful country that is the Basque region. We did a sail boat adventure from Hondarribia, a wonderful and historic town where Diego knows everyone and brings smiles along his path. We also did a day long trip exploring the sights and history near Gueteria a sea side village and had lunch in a local spot near the Sanctuary of St Ignatius de Loyola. Really impactful. Our 2nd trip with Feel Basque Country and Diego. Was just as wonderful, fun and informative with family and our grandson as it was last year in San Sebastián with just us. Highly recommend the team from Feel Basque Country!

Jaime led our group of four on a pintxo tour and we had the best time!! Jaime is a wonderful guide to the basque region, he knows so much about the history and culture, and he’s so much fun to hang out with! The pintxos he picked for us were some of the most delicious dishes we had in San Sebastián, and he gave us awesome recommendations for other places to try during the rest of our trip. The tour with Jaime was a highlight of our trip and we would love to come back and do it again!

Jaime’s knowledge, not just of the area we were touring, but placing his knowledge of the geography in a broader context made the trip outstanding. His ability to engage us constantly, providing useful facts about points of our interest made our tour uniquely enjoyable. I cannot rate Diego and this hike from San Sebastián highly enough! We did it as a family group and Diego took the time to speak to all of us individually and collectively. He is knowledgeable, intuitive and we immediately felt like we were walking with another member of the family! The scenery is stunning, and our hike included a small boat trip and lunch before a ride back to San Sebastián. Literally the perfect way to spend a few hours!

Feel Basque is a must have if you want to have an optimal experience during your visit of the region. We initially booked for a tour to Pamplona for the Encierro. Jaime did a wonderful job, preparing us even before the arrival. His knowledge of the culture and history made the tour much better and special. We liked so much that we book another tour (sunset sailing) for the same day and it’s was incredibly beautiful!!! Also Jaime is a professional photographer and took the most amazing shots of us!! I strongly recommend them!

My wife and I had the most amazing trip thanks to our wonderful guide Diego. He shared his beautiful country with us from Biarritz to San Sebastián touring towns, wineries, dining, hiking and absorbing the culture of Basque Country. Our expectations were exceeded thanks to Diego. We will return!

A great private tour that we didn’t want to end, even after a full day. Our driver, Diego, is a multi- generational native of the Basque region, knows everything about the area and its history, and spoke perfect English. We visited three different family owned wineries, learned a great deal, drank great wine, and loved the people. We never felt rushed and it never dragged on. It was all timed perfectly. Pick up and drop off at the front door of our hotel and driven in a comfortable Mercedes van with no other people in it. The entire experience was seamless. We highly recommend it.

My husband and I did a private Pinxtos tour with Diego. It was excellent in all ways. Diego took us to 5 great places and his food and wine recommendations were nicely varied and focussed on the food specialties of each restaurant. In addition to the great tastes, the tour included lots of information about the history of San Sebastián, the Basque people and culture, politics, the regional economy and Spanish wines. We highly recommend Diego.

It was a trip to remember to this region thanks to Feel Basque Country. They are extremely well versed in the history and culture of this part of the world in addition to being a great deal of fun to have as personal tour guides. What a fantastic day we enjoyed with Diego. We travelled to Rioja wine country in a spacious Mercedes Sprinter while enjoying the scenery and Diego’s insightful commentary. We had a wine tasting and tour at our first and favourite winery … Titium. We then moved on to 2 other wineries Luis Canis and Ostatu and finished at a local restaurant called Meson Alais. The day was such a highlight of our holiday we would highly encourage you to enjoy the same experience we did with Diego.

My mom and I had a truly amazing time touring around the Basque country with Diego! He has a ton of knowledge that was always approachable and fun to learn about. A clean, comfortable and new mercedes van for transport, excellent English (and French and German too). He was really great at recommendations for our itinerary during our days together and beyond in the Basque area, as was he at adjusting the tour to weather, our interests, and abilities. Diego and his company are great! Diego was busy but answered my call and was able to have one of his colleagues take us on the wine tour we wanted. Diego set everything up and his colleague, Martin, was excellent. Very nice, knowledgeable and informative! He explained to us the history of wine in the Basque Country, how it came to be the present style of wine making, the origins of wine in the region and the why, setting up the tour for each winery we visited to be that much more special. At the end of our tour, we went to a local restaurant to have a traditional basque dish, which was superb. The tour was set up and executed perfectly! Loved every bit of it and highly suggest you book with Diego, he’s very kind and will try his best to accommodate you and your party in whatever way he can to make your experience the best one possible.

My wife and I spent 1.5 days with Diego and it was a wonderful experience. We spent a half day with him on a walking tour of San Sebastián, which ended with a pintxo tour. Diego’s local knowledge and history of the region provide for an invaluable experience, but it’s his enthusiasm and friendly personality that differentiates the tour from others. On the second day, we went to Rioja and visited 3 wineries. Without discussing our preferences prior to the tour, Diego selected 3 smaller wineries that offered very different experiences. These were exactly what we hoped to experience during our first visit to the area. A tour with Diego is like spending the day with a friend. Thank you for the incredible experience.

Diego was amazing!! We booked a day trip to Bayonne, Biarritz, and Saint Jean de Luz. He was very responsive with coordinating our date and time. The day of our tour he was on time and was super enthusiastic about sharing his beautiful country and culture with us. He knew all of the perfect spots to see the gorgeous seaside towns and the pictures he took of us along the way will be with us forever. My daughter and I booked a 2 hour sunset sail . We found Diego through our hotel. We were picked up on time, and our cruise exceeded our expectations— beautiful 19 meter antique sailboat with a captain and mate. The evening was spectacular!

We visited a few fantastic wineries, heading home with a few bottles, and a beautiful lunch and visit to LaGuardia. We had such an excellent day and get to leave with amazing memories forever. Our day with Diego was fabulous… he took us to some amazing wineries for tastings and tours with great staff who he knew well so we were taken very good care of. We finished with a delicious lunch and lots of wine! Highly recommended and the only way to experience Rioja!🍷

Diego is amazing!!!! My boyfriend and I had spent a wonderful evening with Diego on a pintxo tour! Diego gave us a wonderful history and background on San Sebastián and took us to 5 different pintxo bars to try all the amazing food and drinks!
