We loved this hike and highly recommend it. Our guides were two Brazilian men and they were lovely and took lots of photos of each of the couples in our group (we had really nice people in our group.) They are very knowledgable and were funny too. The hike is varied (mostly water at the beginning) and beautiful. They gave us hiking sticks which were useful. You need to be at least average fitness to do this tour, wear comfortable shoes (good trainers are fine, they don’t need to be waterproof - just watch your steps). Do make sure you carry water. I advise you take a small hiking backpack with a water bladder, not a draw string backpack. There is some ‘crawling’, some climbing over and holding onto handles, thin ledges, and some steep parts. The pace was good. You need to do lots of leg stretches afterwards, or your calves will ache, if you’re not used to 6K hikes. The price was basically a bargain. I would love to do this tour again. Thanks very much to our great guides!

Our guide was Marcello for a morning Sunday hike around Sierra Nevada. Great communication from the company and Marcello day before and on the day. Short drive from granada to the national park. Three hour hike, Marcello was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the area, guidance and instructions were clear and brought a lot of humour to the hike whilst appreciating the beautiful landscape. Very good at taking photographs for life long memories! Muito obrigada!!

A great morning walk through the hills & along the gorge near Monachil, near Granada. A relaxed pace, the group's age ranged from approx 15 - 70yrs. In a few places in the gorge, there are metal hand rails to get round the cliffs, in a couple of places it was necessary to crawl or bottom-shuffle a short way .... this tour is good even for those with a basic level of fitness. The owner, Julio, was great .... passionate about showing visitors the area, and full of local knowledge. Highly recommend.

Get out of your beds! This was brilliant - what a fab way to spend a half day. Julio was a rare guide - intelligent, funny and interesting! Kind of what you might expect from someone who was a former clinical psychologist! The hike shouldn’t faze anyone - it’s a steady climb with time to stop and enjoy the amazing vista. The guide was careful to ensure everyone was comfortable and I was delighted that a cultural mix blended so well we all ended up chatting all the way through the 3 hours of easy but hugely rewarding exercise. “What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare.” (William Henry Davies) Sums up the experience better than I can!

Went on the Cahorros de Monachil hike, we were a small group which was great because at some points the trail gets very narrow and there a few suspension bridges on the way. Julio was a great guide, mindful, communicative, takes pictures and above all he does his job with a bright smile. I can recommend the hike, there's no need to be particularly fit but you will have to shimmy around the rock outcrops at times.

Muy chulo, lo recomiendo! Un hombre muy amable que nos llevó por caminos y senderos preciosos en mitad de la montaña con puentes colgantes, cascadas y ríos. Además, de manera gratuita, nos fue sacando fotos con una cámara y luego nos las mandó.

This was such an awesome side trip from Granada. I booked the Cahorros de Monachil hike very last minute (the night before), and I’m so glad I did! It was so nice to get out of the main tourist areas and see one of the beautiful canyons adjacent to Granada. Our guide Julio was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and kind. I had a train at 3:20 PM so I went on the 8:30 AM tour. We were back by noon and I had plenty of time to eat lunch before my train ride.

The experience was lovely and Julio is such a great guide: he knows a lot about plants, animals, as well as the history of the geographical area he brought us to walk around. Went on a hike to Los Cahorros de Monachil yesterday and it was AMAZING! Some parts of the hike were very challenging, but our guide Julio made sure everyone was safe. He was also very knowledgeable, sharing interesting tidbits about the area. And as a nice bonus he took pictures of everyone at the most stunning locations. Highly recommend!

It was a hike I would be happy to repeat any time! We saw beautiful nature around us and learnt a lot from our guide, Julio. In the beginning we got water and snack and started the hike in a beautiful weather. Julio was very enthusiastic and took very good care of us and told us many interesting details and showed us herbs, flowers and fruits growing in the wild and the fact that we could bump into mountain goats any time added some extra excitement. It wasn't a difficult hike but contained fascinating parts such as waterfalls, caves, canyons of course, hanging bridges and it was super much fun and I was laughing a lot when we sometimes had to crawl and hop on our bottom at certain places.😅 Absolutely worth it, can only recommend it!

We booked the Los Cohorras route and it was amazing. Julio and Marcel were brilliant guides. We felt safe and well looked after. I had a little trouble with part of the route and they made sure I had as much help as needed to continue safely. Highly recommend this company for your excursions in the Granada area.

Eine sehr schöne Tour, ca. 7km. Ich hab es sehr genossen. Eine gute Mischung zwischen entspannten Spaziergang und kleinen Herausforderungen. Julio, der Wanderführer ist freundlich, entspannt, seriös und vertrauenswürdig. Er Begleitet die Gruppe auf eine unaufdringliche Art. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen. Es ist wirklich das Geld wert.

Wir haben diese Halbtageswanderung von Granada aus sehr genossen und würden sie unbedingt empfehlen! Sie war tatsächlich spektakulärer als erwartet! Allerdings war sie auch an verschiedenen Stellen anspruchsvoll: nachdem es erstmal hoch ging mit toller Aussicht mussten wir uns beim Herunterlaufen entlang eines kleinen Bachs auch mal an den Handgriffen entlanghangeln oder unter Feldvorsprüngen durchkrabbeln. Aber das kann man auch mit über 70 noch, wenn man fit ist. Ein paar Hängebrücken waren auch dabei. Wir waren eine englische und eine spanische Gruppe mit zwei Guides, die super informierten und sich auskannten. Auch in der Gruppe herrschte eine sehr gute Stimmung. Es ging pünktlich mit dem Minibus für eine halbe Stunde Richtung Sierra Nevada und auf dem gleichen Weg zurück, wir bekamen 2 mal Wasser, Müsliriegel und Wanderstöcke (unbedingt einen nehmen!) ausgeliehen und unterwegs machte Julio, unser Guide, viele Fotos, die er über die Cloud mit uns teilte. Wir können nur sagen: Klasse Tour, unbedingt empfehlenswert!!

Es una ruta increíble, es muy bonita. Imprescindible hacerla con monitor, porque no está muy bien señalizada. Julio y su compañero nos contaron un montón de curiosidades. Dominan el español y el inglés. Y a final de la ruta nos pasaron un enlace para ver las fotos que nos hicieron. Las fotos tienen muy buena calidad.

Our guide, Julio, took our group on a great hike today. Julio and his colleague Marchala? were punctual, safety conscious, and keen to help throughout the hike. Julio was knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, and entertained us with his stories. He supplied water and a snack, and happily took photos which group members are able to download later. All in all, a fabulous 1/2 day hike with lovely people from around the world.

We did a great 6 km hike with a total of 6 people and the guide was very helpful and humorous. We went up a small stream and passed through caves, rocks, suspension bridges and saw a lot of nature and the trail was full of impressive landscapes. We were able to learn a little about the Sierra Nevada National Park. I really recommend this hike.

The hike was absolutely wonderful. We went near streams, through lush vegetation and up onto mountains. The scenery was stunning and the nature was beautiful. Julio was a very thoughtful and enthusiastic guide. He made sure everyone was well looked after and was clearly very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. I couldn't recommend this hike enough.

Julio me acompaño al recorrido de senderismo por los cañones de Monachil y fue una experiencia increíble. Era la única en el tour y no me cancelaron, algo que al menos yo, al viajar sola aprecio mucho. Desde ahi la experiencia empezó bien, después ya en el destino, me ofreció unos bastones de senderismo para la caminata, una barrita y agua, se me hizo un muy buen detalle. Hablando ya en general del tour, la compañía de Julio fue muy amena, se me paso el tiempo volando. Los paisajes son preciosos, las explicaciones que te va haciendo a lo largo del recorrido super interesantes y las fotos que toma muy buenas. Lo recomiendo al 100%, una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en granada

Amazing experience. Really enjoyed this hike. The views were amazing and the walk wasn't very strenuous. Our guides Julio and Marcelo were very helpful and friendly and made the tour much more entertaining. It was nice that they took photos of us and provided cereal bars and cold water too. Overall I definitely recommend booking this experience!

This was a great tour! We enjoyed it immensely. Julio was a phenomenal guide with a great passion and respect for the mountains. The trail was perfectly suited to our activity level and an excellent way to spend our time in Granada outside of the city. Highly recommend even in the summer heat - Julio took us through a good deal of shaded area, had a snack and extra water for us, and started the tour early in the day before the extreme heat. An added bonus is the high quality, professional photos Julio takes and sends of you during the hike. They’re amazing and come free with the tour!

La ruta de los cahorros de Monachil fue preciosa y divertida con los puentes colgantes y pasadizos por la cueva.el río le dio frescura a la aventura .Julio es un guía estupendo y estaba atento en todo momento en ayudarte si lo necesitabas,además nos hizo fotos muy chulas que luego nos mandó al móvil.gracias julio.

Estivemos em Sierra Nevada, em 3 pessoas. Somos um casal e nosso filho. Foi nossa primeira experiência na neve. Desde o primeiro contato por mensagens, o Julio da Attraversiamo foi muito atencioso ao nos explicar os detalhes da atividade e as roupas que poderíamos usar para proteção no frio. Durante a atividade ele teve atenção especial com nosso filho de 9 anos, adaptando o percurso para ele. Foi tudo excelente!

[26/11 20:16] Pai: Great hike with diverse and beautiful scenery. Guides were excellent and reassuring as we went through some more challenging parts of the trail. Guides also pointed out interesting information about the wildlife, plants and history! Highly recommend this hike. [26/11 20:18] Pai: Vai ver o que?

A brilliant experience for our family. Learned a lot about the history of Granada and Sierra Nevada, spectacular views and daring but doable bridge crossings. The instructors were encouraging and friendly, sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm throughout. Seamless transfers and the walnuts and figs fresh off the trees were an absolute delight. Thank joy. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great experiance, from start to finish. Our Guide and his friend were very friendly and informative. I actually turned up a day early but as there was space on the tour i was able to go. We were driven to the start of the hike where our guide explained what would happen and the route we would take. From there we set off, stopping at various places en route for photo's and more information on the area. The guides had their own camera & in a nice touch the photo's they took were all sent to us via an email link after the trip. I would advise you taking, drinks & snacks & remembering that there are no toilets during the hike. It started at 9am which meant it wasn't too hot to go hiking. I had a fab time and would reccommend it

Fantastic walk through the canyon, over hanging bridges, and over the hills for great views. Julio was a fantastic guide and took some great pictures of us en route.

A fabulous walk and Julio was a terrific guide. I cannot rate it more highly - well worth doing! The variety of the walk was super and it was lovely to be in an enjoyable small group of people. The views from the top were spectacular! And it was great fun crawling on hands and knees in the canyon.

The activity was very nice. The course combines a drive with a bit of action (climbing style) and then a climb up the mountain. This is an enjoyable trip that suit anyone who loves the outdoors in addition to offering incredible views. I would do it again as soon as I had the opportunity. Angelmell

It was an absolutely amazing trip, definitely the highlight our time in Granada. Julio was just incredible and so knowledgeable and passionate about nature and the surroundings. The walk was very manageable to a beautiful and quiet spot to watch the sunset. The colours and views were the best. Would highly recommend!!!

Fuimos a practicar snorkel y el trato fue muy bueno El tiempo ayudo mucho, por lo que vimos peces y corales Fue muy agradable la experiencia y nos recomendó otras playas de otras provincias

Debido al COVID solo he podido hacer la ruta de Cahorros de Monachil y ruta del Gollizmo.
