We had the privilege of touring the Alhambra with Guillermo, and he was truly outstanding. The Alhambra is a complex place—layered with history, art, architecture, and meaning—but Guillermo organized it in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. At each room, garden, fountain, and plaza, he wove together its function in daily life (personal and political), its artistic qualities, and its historical context. We came away from the tour feeling like we had had a deep educational experience without being overwhelmed. We liked that Guillermo had meaningful work experience and diverse interests outside guiding, and we felt that this gave his approach a personal, down-to-earth quality. On top of all that, he was relaxed and personable. As two married gay couples traveling together, we noticed and valued how naturally comfortable he was with us—creating an atmosphere that felt easy, respectful, and enjoyable. His ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English was also a great plus. I would use Guillermo again in a heartbeat and would recommend him wholeheartedly to family, friends, and anyone looking for a guide who can make the Alhambra truly unforgettable.

Guillermo truly was the star of our trip and tours! It was my first trip out of the country and it truly wouldn’t have sailed as smooth without his help. He was one call away for me and my friends even after the scheduled tours for recommendations or any problem, and I can’t stress it enough that I recommend his guidance! Our private three hour tour of the Alhambra in English with Guillermo was extraordinary. He took us on a deep dive of understanding not only what we were seeing but why and how it had come to be. We told him we wanted quality over quantity and he immediately pivoted to provide us the greatest tour we could have imagined. He answered our barrage of detailed historical and cultural questions from his extensive knowledge of hundreds of years of Alhambra history. I would like to take him everywhere in Europe with me. I will remember the Alhambra stories long after the specifics of what I saw have faded. I am so grateful to Guillermo who was generous with his time and expertise.

Just do it. I promise it will be better then you can imagine. I had the distinct pleasure of traveling with Guillermo through Europe for 10 days. Big G, as he was fondly called by our group, is one of the most delightful people you could ever hope to meet. His kindness and sincerity, paired with his ability to navigate and circumvent any situation with humor and grace is unmatched. I'm convinced there is nothing he doesn't know or can't do. His love of creating unique and memorable experiences for each person knows no bounds. I greatly hope to be able to do another trip or tour with him in the near future. The story is we went to Granada in the pick season and nothing booked in advance and we really wanted to visit Al Hambra but no chance to get the tickets even though the first day we went at 7h00 to buy tickets in the offices and we were the 6th in line. For the second day, some advices to check the official website since usually they sold some tickets for the day starting from midnight. Before that we call all the travel agencies available on google maps with the option of open 24h, all tickets sold out as well. The only agency that proposed to help with the booking at midnight for me and my friend was Discover Granda Tour ( Guillaume). I personally tried to get my ticket no success but they managed to get us tickets and with the lowest price available compared to all tickets we checked ( symbolic price for the crew who got us tickets at night ) and helping us with the entry to the castle in the morning ( guide Jean claude ). Just to say thank you for you support and help, it was really a pleasant stay and you made it happen for us, it really rare to cross people like you really passionate about what they do and want people to benefit from it the most.

Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de que Guillermo García nos guiara por la Alhambra y el Generalife en la más gratificante visita que he tenido a este complejo monumental en muchísimos años. Si consideramos que soy granadino y en visitado la Alhambra en bastantes ocasiones -empezando de niño con el colegio o con mis padres, después con el instituto, y finalmente de adulto- esto implica mucho. Su profesionalidad y sus conocimientos fueron sencillamente espectaculares, dándonos a conocer muchos aspectos de este monumento que pasan desapercibidos o no se tienen en cuenta lo suficiente, tanto desde un punto de vista cultural, histórico o geográfico. En resumen, sencillamente espectacular. ¡Muchas gracias Guillermo!

Nous avons eu la chance de faire le tour de l'Alhambra avec Guillermo, et c'était tout simplement exceptionnel. C'est, sans exagérer, le meilleur tour que j’ai jamais expérimenté. Chaque anecdote historique était racontée avec une passion captivante et une narration envoûtante. Nous avions initialement peur que 4 heures soient longues… et pourtant, nous ne les avons pas vues passer tant c’était riche et passionnant. Guillermo est non seulement extrêmement bien renseigné, mais aussi incroyablement chaleureux, accommodant, et d’une profonde gentillesse. Grâce à lui, nous avons quitté l’Alhambra non seulement émerveillés, mais aussi enrichis de connaissances et d’histoires que nous n’oublierons pas de sitôt. Un immense merci !

Somos una asociación de cine y el año pasado tuvimos el placer de visitar el festival de cine Lorca de Granada. Era difícil la visita a la ciudad porque éramos 125 personas a la vez. Guillermo is an incredible guide, while travel can be unpredictable he’s seen every challenge and meets every circumstance with grace. He prioritizes his travelers experience and is such a genuinely wonderful person he gives every experience more magic to it. Even situations that you might not be looking forward too like transportation to your next destination will be filled with laughter because he’ll take the time to laugh over the best stories. Miscommunication? Handled two days ahead of time with ease and a smile. All of the things that would’ve been overwhelming as a traveler I didn’t have to think twice about. And every experience was infinitely more fun, he greets everyone as a friend and is so fully in the present moment that it’s impossible not to make the most beautiful memories. I can’t think of a single moment of my trip he didn’t make better and that’s not even mentioning that he speaks eight languages!
