Hola María José, Muchas gracias por tu reseña. La información sobre la posibilidad de añadir un seguro la tienes publicada en nuestra web antes de reservar. Durante el proceso de reserva se ofrece como extra y tienes razón, no te lo recordamos en el email automatizado que te enviamos. Realizasteis la reserva 2 dias antes (en sábado) y no nos dió tiempo a enviaros la correción manual con la información actualizada. Respecto a la elección del seguro o el depósito, nosotros ofrecemos las dos opciones, el 65% de nuestros clientes eligen el seguro y el resto elige depósito. Tardamos una media de entre 2 y 3 dias en desbloquear el dinero (En tu caso era una devolución, por causas ajenas a nuestra voluntad) excepto en temporada alta que nos podemos ir a 4/5 dias. Sabemos que es un aspecto a mejorar de nuestro proceso de entrega y retorno de bicicletas y estamos trabajando en ello. De nuevo, gracias por tus comentarios que nos ayudan a mejorar dia a dia. Estaremos encantados de teneros con nosotros en otra ocasión. Saludos.

Hi Paul Thanks for your review. As we explain to all our clients, bikes must be reviewed by mechanics before unblock the deposit so it is not that we can do in 30 seconds. As we explained you by email september is high season and it takes a litle bit more to unblock the diposit (We replied to your email n 15 minutes). In anycase sorry for the inconveniences, we are aware that we have to improove on that. About price, this is something about concurrence and market. We have very good and competitive rates within these full carbon, Ultegra DI2, Specialized 2025 season, we can not say anything at this point. Thanks again and best regards.

Hello Joe We can't understand this star rating considering the service we provided: 1. You arrived at our shop with the wrong reservation. You had rented an e-Touring bike when you actually wanted a gravel bike. We were able to make the change, and you were ready to go. 2. Two days later, you complained that the price of the bike we provided you was too high compared to the bikes your friends had rented from another rental company. We asked you to tell us which bikes your friends had rented, and you gave us the information. The result was that you were comparing a Bianchi aluminum hardtail with a triple chainring that was at least 4 years old with our Specialized Diverge STR carbon, full suspension, single chainring from the 2024 season. I regret to say that the comparison is not optimal. We work with excellent quality bikes that we renew every two seasons, and therefore, our price is in line with the quality of our product and our service. I don't think there's any objective data to support giving us a 1-star rating. Thank you very much. Best regards.

Bon dia, Dani, Gràcies pel teu feedback; ens ajudarà a millorar els procediments i corregir els errors comesos ahir. Tanmateix, ens sorprèn la teva valoració de la nostra “actitud” a l’hora de respondre ressenyes, ja que mai no pretenem desacreditar el client, sinó matisar opinions que poden ser esbiaixades o parcials. El nostre objectiu és complementar la informació sobre l’experiència, perquè qualsevol lector interessat, potser pensant a contractar els nostres serveis, pugui conèixer ambdues versions del que hagi succeït. D’altra banda, hauràs vist que, quan toca admetre errors, ho fem sense problema. Comencem pel principi. A primera hora de la tarda, Protecció Civil va enviar l’avís de les condicions meteorològiques i, just rebre’l, el personal de l’empresa, seguint el protocol, va enviar un missatge i va trucar a tots els clients que teníem en ruta. En el teu cas, no ens vas agafar la trucada, i tot i llegir el missatge, no ens vas contestar fins força més tard. Finalment, vas contactar amb nosaltres per telèfon i ens vas comentar que et trobaves a 5 km de l’oficina, a l’entrada de Salt. Et vam oferir que, si no podies retornar la bici dins el nostre horari d’obertura, ja que plovia lleugerament, la poguessis tornar l’endemà al matí. Vas respondre: “Ok, dons en res et torno a trucar i et dic”. Vam insistir que, per a qualsevol urgència, tornessis a trucar sense cap problema. No vam rebre més resposta per part teva fins que vas arribar a la botiga al voltant de les 17:30. Quan va arribar la teva companya, va comentar que tot havia anat bé, però que havieu hagut de parar diverses vegades a causa de la pluja. Després, tu vas manifestar que et semblava molt lleig per part nostra no haver-vos ofert en cap moment anar-vos a recollir, ja que us sentíeu desorientats i plovia. Et vam contestar que, en cap moment durant la trucada telefònica, vas mencionar que us sentíeu desorientats, cosa que ens va estranyar, ja que, a més, per telèfon vas especificar amb molta precisió on us trobaveu. Tot seguit, et vam dir que, tal com havies manifestat un cop arribat a la botiga, si la teva intenció era que us vinguéssim a buscar, només ho hauries d’haver dit perquè ho féssim. Entenem que aquí va haver-hi un error de comunicació: tu vas sobreentendre que havíeu de ser recollits i el personal de botiga va sobreentendre just el contrari, és a dir, que si no ho mencionàveu era perquè no ho necessitàveu. Podríem haver insistit (i aquí és on vam fallar, en no insistir), però, atès el desenvolupament de la conversa, no ho vam fer. Et tornem a demanar disculpes per no haver-ho suggerit tal com tu esperaves. No tinguis cap dubte que no hauríem tingut cap problema en venir-vos a buscar. De fet, els altres clients amb els que vau sortir a la mateixa hora d'Olot fent la mateixa ruta, que van arribar poc abans que vosaltres van manifestar que no havien tingut cap problema i que quasi no els hi havia plogut. També ens agradaria aclarir que no vas parlar amb dues persones diferents durant la gestió del problema i que ningú es va anar a amagar a un racó de la botiga. La persona que et va contactar per wattsapp i telèfon i després us va atendre a la botiga és la mateixa. Ens sap greu que posis en dubte la qualitat i la professionalitat del nostre servei i atenció al client, ja que precisament és l'àmbit que més intentem cuidar. Així ho reflecteixen la gran majoria de ressenyes que tenim, com podràs veure. Per això et demanem disculpes pel succeït aquest passat dissabte, però volem aclarir que es va tractar d’un malentès de comunicació i que en cap cas hi havia premeditació ni falta de voluntat d’ajudar el client. Esperem que el malentès quedi aclarit.

That said, we’d like to clarify a few things you mentioned in your review so that other potential customers don’t get the wrong impression: The repair kit we provide is always complete: pump + tyre gauge + multi-tool + puncture repair kit, and the chain is always fully lubricated. In your case, due to a human error, the pump was missing. We sincerely apologise for that. (We’ve offered to reimburse you for the pump you had to purchase, but we’re still waiting to hear how you’d like us to proceed. Please check your email 😊). Regarding the flat pedals: just to clarify, they are completely free of charge, and any customer who requests them will have them installed on their bike. As for the saddle, we also offer soft covers free of charge upon request. Finally, about the wheels: they were -and still are- in perfect condition. If you saw tubeless sealant residue when removing the tyre to make a repair, this isn’t a sign of poor maintenance. Until a few months ago, these bikes were set up tubeless, but we switched to regular tyres for operational and customer convenience. The residue you saw was simply a remnant of the previous setup (which can be difficult to fully remove), not a maintenance issue. We hope this clears things up for you and other readers. Hi Claus, thank you for sharing your opinion. We’d like to clarify a few things so that readers have a bit more background: You were informed two days in advance that, just that weekend, no mechanic service would be available as we had no staff on duty, and you were kindly asked to come on Friday instead. You chose not to do so and came on Saturday, already aware of the issue. As for the condition of the bike, we won’t say much: any client visiting us can see for themselves the excellent condition in which we strive to deliver each and every bike. The overwhelming majority of reviews on this very platform support that.

Dear Debbie, We are very sorry to hear that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. However, we strongly disagree with your version of events and feel it is important to provide clarification to keep this transparent and fair. You and your friend rented bikes with us for several days. Unfortunately you were affected by delays caused by the airline, so we extended the bike rental for your friend with an extra day at NO COST. During one of the last days, when it began to rain, you called to request a pick-up service. As clearly stated in our rental terms, this service is not included, and we kindly advised you to wait in a nearby café while the brief rain passed, as confirmed by weather radar. We also provided you with 3 taxi company phone numbers in case you wanted to get a ride directly, and in the end you took a train, which was a very sensible option, as the train ride was just 10 minutes long, and the train dropped you off right next to our office. Upon your return to our office, you appeared very upset and began arguing with several of our staff members about our policies — both regarding the lack of a pick-up service and the timeline for the return of your security deposit, which had been clearly explained at the time of rental. Despite this, our team remained calm and professional. When you insisted on speaking with the manager, he came to speak with you personally in an effort to address your concerns. Regarding your claim of physical aggression: we absolutely reject any accusation of violence or assault. At no point did any member of our staff "strike" you. When you unexpectedly attempted to take a picture of one of our team members without consent during a tense exchange, he reflexively put his hand out to block the camera. This is not aggression — it was a defensive reaction to an intrusive action. We take the well-being of both our customers and staff very seriously. For that reason, we also feel it’s important to say — with care — that comparisons involving physical abuse or violence must be used responsibly and cautiously. We welcome honest feedback reflecting the truth, but are not keen on exaggerated or false accounts intended to damage reputations unfairly. We stand by our professionalism, our policies, and our long-standing reputation for quality service in Girona and we kindly invite you to amend your review accordingly. Sincerely,

Good morning Roger, thank you for sharing your opinion. We understand that the subject of your complaint refers to the ongoing case with our client Gerard V., with whom we have an open line of communication. In this communication, he has already been informed that, of the €195 mentioned, a significant portion corresponds to damages that you yourselves acknowledged: the broken saddle (€85), handlebar tape (€10), and the necessary labor for the repair (25€/30 mins). As you can understand, these repairs are carried out because we strive to maintain the highest quality standards in the delivery of our bikes to each client. Regarding the scratches, we have also pointed out to Gerard V. that he has not provided any photographs of the bike at the moment of delivery, nor any images that demonstrate the scratches were already present before the rental. If he does have photos proving this, we kindly ask him to share them with us, and we will gladly review and adjust our position. In case you are referring to a different booking, please contact us directly with more information and we will look into it with care.

Benvolgut Joan, Sentim la incidència que vostè va tenir, però cal carificar alguns punts de la seva argumentació ja que no són ajustades a la realitat. Vostè va llogar una bicicleta el dia abans de participar en una competició i segons vostè un dels pneumàtics estava en mal estat. Entenem que en sortir de la botiga la roda estava inflada i en un ús raonable ja que sinó vostè se n'hagués adonat immediatament. Vostè va intentar contactar-nos el mateix diumenge abans de les 8 del matí abans de prendre la sortida de la competició. Els diumenges el nostre servei comença a les 9 del matí i vostè coneixia aquest horari. Aquest diumenge vostè va decidir utilitzar el servei mecànic ofert per la competició per substituir la coberta que considerava en mal estat, amb un cost pràcticament el doble d'un taller normal. Posteriorment vostè ens va sol·licitar la devolució de la reparació. Nosaltres us vam oferir de devolució del cost de la reparació (canviar un pneumàtic 50€ aprox) i lliurar-li el pneumàtic que li van posar el dia de la competició (més o menys 50€). Durant moltes setmanes vostè no va voler acceptar la solució que li proposàvem, ni presentar-se per dialogar la solució (vostè és veí de la nostra botiga i podria haver-se apropat fàcilment). Al cap de moltes trucades (fent dedicar molt de temps i tensionant el nostre equip) vostè va exigir amb males maneres parlar amb el mànager que va accedir a parlar amb vostè. L'actitud va ser clara, defensar la solució que els responsables del servei de rental li proposaven, entenent que era una solució justa segons tots els passos ocorreguts. Davant negativa per part seva d'acceptar la solució i estar només interessat a fer valoracions sobre el servei de la nostra empresa, el mànager li va suggerir accedir al Departament de Consum de la Generalitat perquè ells establissin una solució. Vostè així ho va fer, vam ser contactats per aquest Departament i vam explicar la nostra versió reparadora. Vostè va rebre una contestació d'aquest Departament de Consum conforme la nostra proposta era TOTALMENT CORRECTA. Entenem que vostè pot estar disgustat i escriure aquesta ressenya. Per part nostra seguirem reforçant les nostres estratègies de Qualitat del Servei, per poder anticipar situacions com la que vostè ha generat i poder treballar estalviant tot el desgast que això implica.

Hi Mark, thanks for your review. I will go directly to answer you. 2500/9bikes/7days = 40 euro per day/bike. More or less. I think is a very competitive rate. In fact, we have the very best rates in Girona versus the qualilty of our bikes. Of course we charge extra services, why not? Could you explain to me why our company had to give for free our time and our resources? In order to mantain the quality of our bikes we request for a deposit or an insurance. Thanks to that, the clients take care of the bikes, and we can offer good rates for excellent bikes, its simple! Bikes are mechanical machines and they may present problems due to their use, we invest time and resources to keep them in perfect condition. Yes, we had problems with 1 bike and we proceed to do all our best, we changed the bike two times and we sent a mechanic to the villa (By the way, the mechanic came to check the bikes and you told us that it was not necessary, that, in fact, one of you checked them and made the necessary adjustments, so I understand that they had to be small things, in any case, you renounced to the service that it was offered to you for free, in this case). Finally we understood that the experience of this client was bad so we returned to him a part of the rental and we gave to him our best bike (he loved it). I have seen the picture of the collection and I don't find anything strange, the bikes are lined up and protected one by one with a blanket. Our vans have a special size, they are really big. Finally when we proceed to unblock the deposits not always the amounts arrive inmediately, it depends on the bank. We can do nothing. We assume that as a human being we can make mistakes, of course. I think in that case we tried to do our best with no succes as per this review. Anyways our house is open to you if you come back to Girona. Best regards.

Hi Pat, thanks for your review. I have the staff repport comunication from 19th october and I have to say that there is not any repported issue during this day. Our price is very competitve, maybe we are the most competitive rental agency in Girona, your rented a high level road bike so the price is according the category of the bike. Could be the bike was not enough clean, is extrange because we check every bike before to deliver them to the clients. The process is: first our mechanics clean the bikes, second they check the bike and adjust them or repair if neccesary, when the bike is ready or assigned is marked in our sistem and in the bike with a sticker. Just in some cases and, advising the clients before, we can deliver a not enuch cleand bike because the client require it the day before in the afternoon and we dont have time to clean it and we prefer to check, adjust or repair, but this is an exception in any case and is always previously agreed with the clients and we never deliver a dirty bike. Yes, the bike was not configured, you're right, you advised to us friday 18th at 10:49 am. There was the S-Grail event in the weekend and we advanced the bike delivery during the whole friday, so, yes, we didnt have time to do it. We have enough staff to assist our clients, we open 7/7 from 01st March to 31st Oct. On weekends 2 even 3 people are in the shop assiting clients. Saturday 19th Oct there were two staff to deliver 9th bikes, believe me, is enough staff. Our policy is published in our website and is informed during the online booking process. When clients come, also we inform them. Clients understand that we block some money as a deposit which we return when the bikes come back and almost the 35% of our clients take the insurance. No issues except with you. I hope you reconsider the review and I suggest you to remove it. We work very hard all year round to provide the best consumer service and we don't deserve this critisism. Hi Doug! Thank you for your feedback. You were handed a bike perfectly fit to your measurements and were warned to be extra careful if/when moving the seatpost. You went on to lower it, therefore blocking it, and put it in your car to take it some 60km away from Girona. When you reported the problem, we asked you to go to a nearby shop (there are 3 within 8 kilometres of where you were staying) so they could unblock the seatpost for you. Our personnel was looking after 29 different returns that day and you, personally, did not engage in any conversation with Juan but instead left your travel partner to deal with a complaint.

Estimado Renè, muchas gracias por tus comentarios. En paises como el nuestro donde llueve poco, cuando llueve esto hace que la carretera tenga agua sucia que contamina las pastillas produciendo ruidos y un mayor desgaste, recuerdo que estos dias estuvo lloviendo mucho. Respecto al tema del mécanico es un tema puntual por una cuestión personal. En cualquier caso, nuestras reseñás en general hablan del buen estado de nuestras bicicletas, comprenderás que para nosotros, como empresa de alquiler, la seguridad de nuestros clientes es primordial y en este sentido no podemos estar de acuerdo con tus comentarios relativos a esta cuestión.
