Rosa did an incredible job listening to our interests and putting together an itinerary that was absolutely perfect for my family. The small group tour of Southern Spain I experienced was truly wonderful. Anyone interested in history, architecture, food, and culture will find if very rewarding. We have returned from 17 days in Spain & Portugal & can't sing the praises of Rosa Lara highly enough. For 50 years I have always organised the travel arrangements for myself & our family. But I was recommended Rosa as a travel organiser by a friend who travelled with Rosa in Spain, so I decided to take the plunge. And I am so glad I did. Rosa organised the perfect mix of hassle-free travel between destinations, with enthusiastic tour guides & excellent drivers. As others have noted, Rosa booked great, centrally located hotels. Ours were in Barcelona, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Madrid, Seville, Lisbon & Porto. We had amazing buffet breakfasts at some of these hotels. In essence, the itinerary Rosa put together for us was perfect & it also allowed plenty of free time for us to do our own thing . In particular, though, I requested that Rosa arrange a tour of the sherry triangle because my husband, who discovered sherry on his first trip to Spain 40 years ago, had never been to a sherry bodega. He was in heaven when we visited 3 of them, including 1 (Bodegas Tradicion) with a superb art gallery with Spanish masterpieces. My only regret...we did not have the pleasure of meeting Rosa in person; perhaps next time, as I certainly want a next time. Gracias infinitas, Rosa!

This was my first trip to Spain, and after Rosa’s tour of her region and country, it won’t be my last. She and her local guides shared the history, culture, food, wine, architecture and customs of Andalusia and Spain. We roamed the active cities, and also the pastoral countryside. Nothing was overlooked - transport, 4 star hotels, wonderful restaurants, and also ample time to wander Andalusia for ourselves. Perfectamente!

We just returned from a magical 7 days trip through Andalusia with Rosa. We were a group of 10 travelers who were strangers at the beginning and bonded by our shared experiences by the end of the trip. Such a fantastic trip to Spain! My husband and I just returned from our 12 day one year anniversary trip. Rosa Lara really helped make everything so easy from start to finish. My husband and I traveled to Madrid and southern Spain in mid-September on a tour we booked through Nada's Italy. It was, however, planned, led and managed by Rosa Lara of Just Explore Holidays & Tours. The tour was wonderful, with great hotels, restaurants and local guides. We experienced everything one should see from Madrid to Cordoba, Seville, Granada and Ronda. Rosa went out of her way to see to all our needs during our 10 days of exploring. Spanish history and sights are truly fascinating! A spectacular small group Spain trip with Rosa Lara! 11 days, 5 hotels, 7 cities, 2 trains, van shuttles, meals, museums, palaces and cathedrals, all masterfully coordinated. Would highly recommend Just Explore. We recently completed a tour of southern Spain with Rosa Lara. The itinerary included all of the major sites and some off the beaten path surprises that only a local would know of. Just Explore is a very professional operation, from start to finish. I had done some prior exploration of potential places to visit in northern Spain but Rosa took our initial ideas and turned them into the complete package - itinerary, hotels, guides/drivers, things to experience. She was extremely responsive both before and during our trip - always available if we had questions and regularly checking in just to be sure we were happy. The hotels she suggested were unique, and the guides were experienced and fun to be with. Definitely would use Just Explore in the future.

We just completed a wonderful 22 day vacation from Lisbon, Portugal to Bordeaux, France. This was our second long trip coordinated from beginning to end by Rosa. Like our first trip, every aspect was meticulously planned. Excellent tour guides, beautiful hotels, and all travel aspects were perfectly planned. Rosa took a personal interest in our entire trip, checking in regularly to ensure there were no issues. Rosa….you need to branch out to other areas of Europe! 😀

Four of us took our second trip with Rosa. This trip was a three week trip to Portugal,Northern Spain,and the Bordeaux’s region of France. Rosa’s meticulous planning made the trip stress free. Her selection of knowledgeable guides and drivers and wonderful hotels added to the enjoyment of our trip. Our only regret is she doesn’t offer not plan trips to other European countries. Sorry I can only give her 5 stars.

We had the trip of a lifetime in Spain. This would not have happened without the expertise of Dalia and Just Explore Travel. If you are thinking of travel to Spain or Portugal, contact them NOW! They found us a variety of great boutique hotels (ones we could have never found without them) located in perfect spots. They also lined up numerous tour guides for us to enrich our experiences. Frankly, we would have walked around cluelessly without their guides. I am a person who plans all my own trips in the U.S., finding the best spots to stay and things to do. But overseas travel is a different animal. There are plenty of things you can do while Dalia is planning -- read books about the personalities who impacted the cities and countries where you are traveling; shop for the perfect gear to take and wear; watch youtube videos in advance of your visits. But I promise you won't be disappointed if you let Dalia handle the nuts and bolts of your trip. A car will be waiting outside your hotel to whisk you to every stop. She will find great activities to let you experience the country. All of this can be done to meet the needs of your budget. Having a travel agent has always sounded like a luxury for rich people. THIS kind of travel agent is an essential for making your trip special!

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and trip planning by Rosa of Just Explore. Every attention to detail was taken care of. I especially liked the app which held all of the itinerary, documents, tickets and tons of information and ideas about what to do in my free time. A "one stop" place to look for anything to do with my itinerary. I would use them again in a minute for travel in Spain. At the end of the trip, I left my phone in a taxi, and Rosa went, above and beyond expectations to assist me to find it. Rosa was available 24/7 with a quick response for questions. I cannot recommend Just Explore high enough. K

My son and I recently completed a trip to southern Spain and Portugal arranged by Rosa at Just Explore. It was my second trip using Just Explore, having been to Andalusia with my wife and daughter last August. Rosa arranged everything and made it a seamless, trouble-free vacation. The hotels were interesting and well located, like the Icon Duplo Ribeira in Porto that was near the river and all the fun restaurants or the hotel in Ronda overlooking the bullring. The local tour guides - like Juan Antonio in Cadiz - were wonderful and helped us enjoy each city we visited. She hired drivers to take us between places where trains weren't convenient, and they were great: they were on-time, spoke great English, and also served as tour guides, explaining the regions we were visiting and their history, customs and foods. Rosa also set up some unique experiences that were fantastic, like the Top Buggies four wheel tour through and around Ronda (not for the faint of heart). We will certainly use Just Explore again when we return to Spain.

My 23 year-old daughter is living in Madrid teaching English. My wife and I worked with Rosa Lara and Just Explore to plan a trip to visit her in Madrid and travel to the Basque Country and the North of Spain for a trip during her spring break, and she planned a perfect trip for the 3 of us. We loved all of her lodging selections especially our apartment in San Sebastián which had a wonderful view and was perfectly located for exploring the city. Each hotel was perfect for its location. Our tours and tour guides were all great. We especially loved Kai and the Pixto tour. We were happy that he switched us to a driving and walking tour rather than cycling because the weather was rainy and chilly. The Rioja and wine tasting tour, and Bilbao and Guggenheim were also very fun and informative. Again both guides were great and we learned so much while having fun exploring. Recommendations and information for our city visits during our drives were spot on. We especially loved our quick stops in Pamplona, Getaria, Zumaia, and Santillana Del Mar. We probably should not have tried to visit the Picos del Europa National Park on the Saturday before Easter. The crowds were overwhelming, and parking and getting buses was close to impossible so we decided not to go into the park. Conversely we had easy access to the Ruta de Cares trail head parking on Easter and the hike was wonderful. I think Rosa’s best quality from the start was listening to our initial request and then accomplishing everything we asked for when we talked on the phone. The time we spent in each location was exactly what we needed. Thank you for a great trip and I recommend Rosa and Just Explore to anyone planning a trip to Spain.

A wonderful, carefree vacation tour in Andalusia! Just Explore provided a varied, relaxed but informative adventure into the customs, history, agriculture (wine! olive oil! flowers! gardens!) and geology of this amazing region. Rosa Lara led our compatible, small group, with seemingly effortless ease; hotel accommodations, meals and transportation were all top-flight. Individual guides, each expert in their own areas, were friendly, and spontaneous, with fresh, enthusiastic sharing of information. Rosa and entire team of Just Explore are fabulous. My husband and I are just back from a 16-day trip to Portugal & Spain (our second trip with Just Explore). Superb service from Dalia of Just-Explore!! Dalia is easy to communicate with, quick responses through WhatsApp messenger and emails. We had to change the scheduled time of our walking tour in Córdoba due to heavy rainfall. The change request was accommodated and uploaded to the UnMapped app. The local guides were knowledgeable, private drivers were very good. Altogether a perfect 12 day trip to Andalucia organized by Just-Explore. Highly recommended 👏👏👏

We are a couple in our ’70’s, experienced travelers, and wanted to add Spain to our planned trip to England. Normally we make our own arrangements, but we were pressed for time and decided to trade economy for experience as we had not been to Spain before, so we looked online for and agent to work with. We contacted three vendors with rough parameters for the trip and Rosa from Just Explore impressed us with her responsiveness and, after some back-and-forth, an ideal itinerary. She was also the most cost effective. Her suggestion to use WhatsApp for communications was key and I got a Spanish sim card for my phone, little realizing how important this would become. On day two (of 12) in Barcelona my companion’s hip gave out and she could no longer walk more than 20 feet or so without stopping in pain. We let Rosa know via WhatsApp that the trip was in jeopardy and she got right on it. She arranged for mobility scooters in Seville and Granada and arranged to have them delivered to the hotels. She contacted the train companies for mobility assistance on/off the trains for our day trips and kept in constant touch. In the end we completed everything on our itinerary and we could not have asked for more. It was a great trip and we would not changed a thing (except the hip). Not surprisingly, all the itinerary choices, arrangements, accommodations, and private guides were marvelous. A truly memorable experience in more ways than one. Yes, we highly recommend that you get in touch with her to discuss your options. You will not be disappointed.

Trip was fantastic! The drivers and guides were wonderful especially Hugo and Bruno. They were by far the best combination of driver and guide we have ever had on any trip. The itinerary was great (except for the tasting change we weren’t made aware of). The small boat ride with lunch at the winery was also a great idea. Captain Orlando took us on a very informative and fun tour. The cooking class was a wonderful way to end our trip. Chefs Victor and George were great and we had so much fun with them. The only part I would eliminate would be the Village of Aveiro stop.

We worked with Rosa to arrange 3 day trips from Marbella, a private chef dinner at our condo and two days of massage. She delivered everything seamlessly. The guides in cordoba, Grenada and Ronda were excellent, the chef prepared an amazing meal and there is nothing better than a massage on a sunlit terrace!

Well over a year of planning with Dalia enabled us to experience a once-in-a-lifetime, fabulous, unforgettable family adventure to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Traveling with a group of 14, including children ranging in age from 2 to 14, who have a variety of past travel experiences (and opinions) was challenging, but met more than satisfactorily in every way. Details were anticipated and planned, and Dalia was always available and responsive to handle any changes or special requests. Our personalized itinerary to fully explore Andalucia included windmills, great food (a cooking class which was a highlight for all), castles and palaces, fishing (a must for this family and another highlight), interesting museums (music and art!), a National Park, wading in the Mediterranean, and a fun New Year's Eve. The local guides were knowledgeable, interesting, and engaged well with the kids. Accommodations were very nice and conveniently located. We usually plan our own trips but when we looked into traveling to southern Spain we felt a bit overwhelmed. We weren’t sure we wanted to deal with renting a car. We also didn’t want to be with a huge tour group, shuttled from place to place. When we found Rosa Lara’s Just Explore we knew we had found the right person to make our wishes a reality. I have had excellent experiences using Just Explore (and in particular with their CEO, Rosa Lara) in booking private tours of Spain in 2016 and 2022. So, it was a no-brainer for me to contact Rosa to develop an itinerary for me and my companion for a private tour of Spain and Portugal in June 2024, as a precursor to a Douro river cruise. The itinerary included 5 nights in Lisbon (including guided day trips to Cascais, Sintra, Obidos, Nazare and Tomar), 5 nights in Seville, Spain (with guided day trips to Cordoba, Cadiz, and Jerez), and a 3 day road trip by car that took us from the pickup at Lisbon's Airport to Porto city, with visits and guided tours to Evora, Fatima, Coimbra, and Aveiro along the way. From Porto, we boarded our river cruise. Rosa worked with our own booked international flight dates to design the itinerary, and all the arrangements made were well done and of high quality, inclusive of the airport transfers, hotels, tour guides, train tickets, and road transport. Most importantly, everything went according to plan, without any glitches. Rosa was always a WhatsApp message away for any clarifications or in case any problems occurred (none did), and we got continuous updates from Rosa as to the names and contact numbers of the guides and drivers we were to expect. Of course, private touring with Just Explore was a bit more expensive than taking any pre-packaged group tour offered by other companies: however, having the ability to develop travel plans to suit our convenience, and be able to fully relax and enjoy the vacation knowing that everything was completely arranged in advance, was real value to us indeed! As usual, without hesitation, we continue to recommend Just Explore for their excellence, quality, and reliability.

Dalia planned an extraordinary trip for my family in Spain. We had 20 days to travel all over the country and she planned each day weaving together historical sites, fun learning activities, and exciting adventures. I have traveled all of my life and I have never had a trip where each logistical piece was taken care of and everything went so smoothly. Dalia chose the perfect balance between guided tours and free time to explore. We kayaked, rode camels, and had an electric tuk-tuck tour. We loved the cooking classes, the market tour and the flamenco show. We had each of the documents we needed exactly when we needed them. Our hotels were varied and unique, each in a prime location. I wish she could plan all of our travel!

We recently returned from our trip to northern Spain that Rosa and the team at Just Explore put together for us. It was absolutely amazing! Rosa and her team planned the most incredible itinerary that started in La Rioja region and included the Basque Country, Asturias, and ended in Galicia. Every part of the trip was stunning! In our opinion, what really sets Just Explore apart is the attention to detail they provide in all aspects of the trip. We used Rosa Lara and her team to plan our 10 day trip to Basque country. It was fantastic. She made great suggestions regarding the itinerary and arranged for guides and drivers. The guides were friendly, spoke English very well and were knowledgable about architecture, culture, history etc. IT was really fun and we went places we never would have thought to visit. The vehicles were comfortable, air conditioned and safe. It was a real treat to be driven to locations to maximize our experience. We went on some great hikes (all suggested by the team) visited local markets and even had a private cooking class. The friends we were travelling with wanted to go to specific kinds of wineries and her team arranged it all. Rosa was available all the time we were in Spain (and before) to answer questions. This is the 3rd trip that Rosa planned for us. It is another perfect trip and thank you Rosa. We started with a wonderful stay in Torrent. It was such a charming hotel & Spa. The guided tour of Girona and Besalu with the private guide who seems to know all the details. The visit to Cadaques and Port Lligat for Dali house and the Dali museum in Figueres were both wonderful. It is our 1st time to visit Costa Brava region and we truly enjoy the visit. The stay at the Hostal La Gavina was another highlight or this trip. Gorgeous beaches and the Cami de Ronda path, so many to explore and so many breath-taking views. Talk about the high point of this trip! Cap Rocat at Mallorca! What a unique place to stay and enjoy the private time and gorgeous costal view and beaches. Cannot thanks you enough to plan this honeymoon/anniversary trip for us.

This is my second trip with Just Explore. The reason I went with them again and will likely continue to book trips with them is twofold. Firstly, the logistics are seamlessly taken care of, including ground transfers, accommodations, tickets, reservations, etc. Secondly, the guides are fantastic. All of them are people I could just sit and have a drink or meal with. They all contribute uniquely to your experience with their individual knowledge and experience. They're also very flexible and able to make small tweaks to make your trip more enjoyable. While I can't ignore that the logistics are super solid, it is the guides that bring me back. Please accept our sincere thanks for organizing the Basque country trip for myself and my wife. The selection of the historic Hotel Carlton in Bilbao and majestic Hotel Maria Kristina in San Sebastian were perfect. The highlight of our first day in Bilbao was lunch in an amazing little seafood restaurant recommended to us by the very friendly hotel staff. The following day, driver Iban took us on a tour along the coast, stopping at the stunning Zumaia beach (which was the setting of Dragons Keep in the Game of Thrones series) and the at the very picturesque medieval fishing village of Getaria. Iban was an exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable guide. In San Sebastian, our guide Maria took us to a very special cooking class and lunch in a local Gastronomic club in Old Town by the quayside, and the following evening, guide Itziar walked us through Old Town to several unique bars where we sampled a fantastic array of local ciders, wines and Pinxtos. Both Maria and Itziar made us feel very much at ease as they explained the local customs and culinary specialties. All in all, this was an amazing and very bespoke experience. All elements were thoroughly researched, planned and executed to perfection by the Just Explore team. We are already looking forward to our next specially tailored experience with Just Explore.

We have just returned (May 2022) to the US after finishing a fabulous private tour of the Andalusia region that had been arranged by Rosa with Just Explore, Holidays & Tours. We can’t say enough about Rosa and her company! Wanting a personalized tour, we had some ideas of places to visit and things to do but lacked the expertise to help us fill in the details and coordinate our itinerary. Our wish list included visits to Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, the Caminito del Ray, Granada, the Nerja caves, Malaga, and some of the famous white villages that dot the countryside. Working with Rosa, arrangements were made for private transportation between cities and for tour guides that met us at each stop and, of course, Rosa has taken the time to ensure all the guides and drivers spoke our language well. The tour guides were all very professional and we never felt rushed as they walked us to the sites explaining the history of each area. As we moved from one city to the next, a driver would show up at the lobby of our hotel in the morning. The drivers were always on time and assisted in carrying our luggage to the car as we moved on. Our itinerary included free time in each site which we filled from suggestions given in our tour package. In addition to the fabulous sights of each city, Rosa provided a list of suggested restaurants she had personally checked to ensure quality and location. Attention to detail is what can make or break such a trip. Rosa arranged getting us tickets for a great Flamenco show in Seville and an Equestrian show in Cordoba. Additionally, all the necessary tickets for each day were purchased and waiting for us upon arrival so we did not need to worry about the details. Rosa was an amazing partner customizing our trip to the Basque region of Spain. The hotels were wonderful and the guides were first rate. Rosa Lara was one of the best guides I have ever had. Not only was she superb, but the other guides she selected for us were also great. I would use her services again without hesitation.

The itinerary for our vacation in Andalusia, with a day trip to Tangier, that Rosa Lara created just for the two of us was wonderful. We communicated easily by email/what's app, and phone. Wonderful hotels in the old areas of the main cities were booked, knowledgeable guides arranged in Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda, Tangier and Malaga, train and ferry tickets purchased and a car reserved for the last several days of our trip. When due to bad weather, the ferry to Tangier was cancelled, Rosa got in touch with us and she rescheduled ferry and guides. In the past, we did most trip planning on our own and it is a lot of work. Working with Rosa made our trip so easy and enjoyable.

Rosa has planned 3 trips for me and they have all been amazing in matching our interests! We had excellent guides and Rosa proposed things that only someone living there would know about. All our hotels were fantastic- great locations, safe, clean and nice amenities! She provides suggestions on things to do in our free time as well as restaurant suggestions making the whole trip experience easy and really enjoyable. When there was a blip (rain), she proactively provided other options. I highly highly recommend Rosa & Just Explore to anyone planning a trip to Spain or Portugal!!

Rosa organised a fab trip to a vineyard for us in Spain we were treated like royalty !! Home made food wine flowing Lagar Blanco I think we left with plenty of bottles 🍷🍷service second to none ! 🇮🇪 Also a fab trip to Grenada with guide & Andalusian horse performance!! I highly recommend the services will have to locate fotos but best to just experience it yourself with her expertise!

If you are looking a culturally immersive way to explore southern Spain, this is the experience for you!! I signed up for a garden tour but I experienced so much more! The food was exquisite, the tours were informative, and the cathedrals were amazing! So much to see and do!! Great value for the money, 4-star accommodations, and very safe place to explore! I was a solo traveler in a group of 10 and also celebrated my 47th birthday while in Spain and it was magical and unforgettable!! Rosa is the absolute BEST!
