Autos Aguirre Rent a Car

Im giving full stars for these guys because thats exactly what the whole experience from start to finish deserves! I looked at a few different places before deciding to go with Autos Aguirre La Linea and im so glad i did, and will use them again every time now. (Edit - have used them again now and once again had a flawless car rental experience.) Firstly, the office is right opposite the border for Gibraltar and so i walked from the airport with my bags to it in no time. The staff there were really friendly and a pleasure to deal with and the handover process was simple. I had booked online and taken the extra insurance option for ease of mind and the price for a week, for what i got was just amazing. I booked myself the most gorgeous little Fiat 500 Cabriolet. I had never driven one before and i have to say i somewhat fell in love with this car over that week, so much that i booked another week, then more days after that! I had the car almost 3 weeks in total. Each time a simple phonecall extended it and my card was charged. There were no hidden charges, no extras taken, no problems with deposit, it was all exactly as booked and arranged. The car itself was in excellent condition, freshly cleaned, a stylish interior. Aux plug for my MP3 player. I drove all over the place, up mountain roads, across deserts, and never had a single problem. It was so economical i hardly needed to fill it! The convertible aspect was the best choice, driving with the top down through those sights was something i wont forget. All in all it was a perfect car rental experience for me, and i will definitely be using them again with full confidence. I will also see if i can rent my little Carmelita baby again :) SPANISH TRANSLATION: Estoy dando estrellas completas para estos chicos porque eso es exactamente lo que toda la experiencia de principio a fin merece! Miré a algunos lugares diferentes antes de decidir ir con Autos Aguirre la Linea y estoy muy contento de haberlo hecho, y los usaré de nuevo cada vez. En primer lugar, la oficina está justo enfrente de la frontera con Gibraltar y así que caminé desde el aeropuerto con mis maletas hasta allí en poco tiempo. El personal era muy amable y un placer tratar con él y el proceso de entrega fue sencillo. Lo tenía reservamos en línea y me dieron la opción de seguro extra para que me lo relajaran y el precio por una semana, por lo que me dieron fue simplemente increíble. Hice mi reserva en el pequeño Fiat 500 Cabriolet más precioso. Nunca había conducido uno antes y tengo que decir que me enamoré de este coche durante esa semana, tanto que reservé otra semana, y después más días. ¡le nombré al coche 'Carmelita' y no me gustó mucho tener que devolverlo! Tuve el coche casi 3 semanas en total. Cada vez que un simple teléfono lo extendió y mi tarjeta fue cargada. No había cargos ocultos, no se habían tomado extras, no había problemas con el depósito, todo era exactamente como estaba reservado y arreglado. El coche en sí estaba en excelentes condiciones, recién limpiado, un interior super sexy. Enchufe auxiliar para mi reproductor de MP3. Conducí por todo el lugar, por carreteras de montaña, por desiertos, y nunca tuve un problema. ¡Era tan económico que apenas necesitaba llenarlo! El aspecto cabriolet era la mejor opción, conducir con la parte superior hacia abajo a través de esos lugares de interés era algo que no olvidaría. En todo, fue una experiencia de alquiler de coches perfecta para mí, y definitivamente voy a usarlos de nuevo con plena confianza. También veré si puedo alquilar mi pequeño bebé Carmelita de nuevo :)

Very disappointing. we went to one office where we were quoted Eu65.00 per day. they told us to go to their office close to the airport. when we got there they said the same car is now Eu145.00. we walked out. next day we went back to the original office again and told yes, we have a car available for Eu65.00 we waited. next thing they put us in a car and took us back to the airport office, where we were quoted Eu125.00 this time! very unhappy and lost half a day chasing a car. cannot recommend them

Hier muss man leider aufpassen! Wir mieten uns öfters ein Auto in verschiedenen Ländern/ Inseln, aber so eine schlechte Erfahrung haben wir noch nie gehabt. Angefangen beim Preis... sehr teuer, ist fast schon eine Abzocke, da wir aber in der Nebensaison in Zahara waren und das eher ein Dorf ist wo alles geschlossen war, haben wir das überteuerte Angebot gewählt. Ok soweit so gut, da es unsere Entscheidung war. Aber dann fing das erste Problem an, wir erhielten einen etwas älteren Ford Fiesta, was nicht so schlimm war aber es war sooo dreckig, das war eklig, es funktionierte einiges nicht, aber das aller schlimmste: Nach ein paar Kilometern die wir gefahren sind, war die Bremse soooo extrem laut, wir dachten die fällt gleich ab oder keine Ahnung, das war zumindest alles andere als normal. Wir haben direkt Panik bekommen und sind das Auto nicht weiter gefahren! Das war wirklich lebensbedrohlich und nicht mehr akzeptabel, dass die das überhaupt dürfen, so ein Auto zu verleihen.. Wir sind zur Rezeption und verlangten ein neues Auto mit einer nicht defekten Bremse, einfach weil wir noch einiges sehen wollten und nicht nur in Zahara unsere Zeit verbringen wollten. Ok, das hatte zum Glück funktioniert, auch wenn die sich nicht mal entschuldigt haben bei uns. Wir bekamen dann wenigstens einen neuen Ford Fiesta mit einer wie es uns schien funktionierenden Bremse. ABER wir steigen ein, lassen den Motor an und dann piepts.. "Reifendruck zu niedrig"... wow.. nun gut, egal.. wir haben die restlichen 2-3 Tage jedoch überlebt, das ging nochmal gut. Aber was dieses Unternehmen dann wieder als Abzocker bestätigt, ist dass der Tank NUR 4/8 getankt war, wir es auch wieder so nachgetankt haben, dass es 4/8 voll war, sie uns aber nach Abgabe des Autos nochmal 16 Euro per Kreditkarte abgezogen haben für den Sprit. Korrekt war das nicht. Nun gut.. beim nächsten mal müssen wir einfach besser recherchieren und uns informieren. Wir raten einfach nur 2 mal bei diesem Unternehmen zu schauen und sich zu überlegen, ob man sich hier ein Auto mieten möchte! Es war sehr stressig und gefährlich für uns... also, bitte aufpassen!

Very good service

After making a booking the border to Spain/Gibraltar was temporarily closed for tourists. The company gave me a full refund for the booking. I will definitely re book with them another time.

Rapidos pero un poco caro

Rented a car for a week with no problems. Collection was easy. They hold a deposit on your credit card, which was removed when the car was returned. €30 of fuel was in the tank to start (which I paid for) was enough for the week.

Great service! Nightmare BA flight redirected from Gibraltar to Malaga because of fog. These guys were amazing, Natalia sorted out a car with her colleague Markus in Malaga, who collected us by minibus and drove us to their local office. They completely smoothed out what could have been really stressful situation. Thank you!!

Last January I rented a brand new car for one whole week from Gibraltar Autos Aguirre. It came fully loaded, and with low mileage. The service provided was excellent, the staff was really friendly even helped with directions. We asked if we could drop the car in Malaga airport instead of Gibraltar.They didn't hesitate in giving instructions on where to leave the car in Malaga. Really made our stay very special. I highly recomend anyone thinking of renting a car in Gibraltar or Malaga to use their hassle free service.👍

I was renting a car this summer in Malaga from Autos Aguirre and I was really satisfied with the service and the car. I arrived and the car was already waiting for me at the airport which is great because the process is quick and I could go on with the car right away. I spent my vacation close to Marbella and liked my Mercedes A class in automatic! The car was clean and the workers helpful so I would always recommend Autos Aguirre!

Im not sure about your experience Mr Hattersley but I have been using their service for years now and have never had any troubles, quite the opposite in fact. As far as paperwork goes everything has always been current and in order. The biligual staff have always been extremely helpful and efficient. The cars are always ready on time, clean and in perfect condition. My family will continue to use their service hopefully for many years to come as we are satified with their reasonable prices, product and service!

Terrible company. Cars without MOT leaving the driver fully exposed with NO insurance in the event of a claim. Police pulled us up and fined €200. This company said they have a 'special arrangement' with Zurich that covers their cars without MOT's! Just absolute rubbish. Any car without a valid MOT (or ITV in Spain) worldwide where MOT's are the law have no insurance. YOU ARE EXPOSED AND COULD GO TO PRISON AS THE DRIVER. The company did not want to know and would not issue refunds. Staff were incredibly rude. Taking up the matter legally and through our credit card company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Use Bruno's or someone else but not this cowboy company.
