Good guys. No attempt to con us into paying for extras. Nice and straightforward. We got a small puncture on one tyre. This wasn't covered by the policy. The came out immediately with a new car. As the puncture could be repaired without significant cost there was no extra charge. All the people I dealt with were nice and reasonable. I will look to use them in future when in Spain.

We have booked our hire cars through Espacar for many years. We find there one inclusive price hard to beat. The pick up and drop off could not be easier, there are no insurance arguments ( it's all in the price ). The staff are helpful and the cars have been in great order.

The car was great. No complaints there. Also, once we found the car park to pick up, administrative work was quick. However, they don't appear to have a brick and mortar office. The map I was initially sent showed us going to one car park and someone would be there. We could not find anyone. We went back and forth between Spain and Gibraltar. Finally found another map on their website under FAQ and that led us to the car. The attendant was able to call the agent to get him. That said, they did send a cell number to call if there was an issue. We called it. It never went through. We had a local call it, nothing. It was frustrating and took an hour of our time in high heat. Again, the car itself was great. Returning the car was another level of frustration. We returned the car to Malaga airport. We were told NOT to use express parking or go into the rental cars parking. Again, no brick and mortar. We must have circled the airport a dozen times. We asked an airport agent and the Police to find P2 where we were to leave it. They directed us to express parking and/or car rental parking. We eventually gave up and parked it in P1. I had to email them to communicate. I did try to call them but got no answer. In an email they said they were busy. The part I'm not comfortable with is no agent was able to check the car to confirm there was no damage. I took pictures but I'm unclear yet if I'll have unusual charges. Despite all this, the agent we dealt with in La Linea and the emails from when we dropped off the car in Malaga were ok and I'm hoping there isn't any issue. If it weren't for our struggles of getting the car and dropping it off, I'd rate this much higher.

Good Little Car, Great Service Cheerful, perfect English spoken - easy collection/drop off - will use again whilst in Gibraltar on business which i fly to most months to sign documents & meetings one after another quickly. Visit (La Linea) its interesting & this is the beach they smuggle drugs at night & people into Spain at night, I went for a couple beers & watched 3 inflatables land & about 20 friendly migraints get off & get picked up by a Spanish van right under the Police's nose as they drove past several times LOL 😆 This i reckon is how they get into England 🇬🇧 1 Euro for a beer & a view of the beach at night, safe walking around & taxi over the boarder into GIBRALTAR 🇬🇮

Yes yes yes!!! My wife and I can't recommend Espacar enough. Affordable staright-forward rental No hidden charges or fees, no crazy deposit, unlimited mileage, no problems stress free car rental for our honeymoon. We almost went with Autos Aquirre SL (which is a disaster, steer clear). We can't wait to use Espacar anytime we go back down to Andalucia. We hope Espacar can grow their business to all regions of Spain, kind, honest and prompt staff with great clean cars.

Second time using Espacar and can not fault it, easy pick up and drop off, a little dearer than others but soworth it...the cars are defiantly better quality and no hidden extras like other companys, will use from now when available!!

This was the second time we’ve used Espacar and both times, the service and the car were excellent. I would much prefer to receive the car with a full tank and return it full. We did this last time, but this time it was three quarters full which was difficult to judge. That was the only negative. I’d definitely recommend this company to anyone flying in to Gibraltar Airport, it’s a very short walk across the border from the terminal and saves you having to drive over the border, which can be very slow.

When flying to Gibraltar it is really convenient to pick up the car over the border in Spain, so avoiding the border queue, especially the long queue when returning to the airport. The booking service is efficient. The staff are very friendly and the cars are always clean. The price is also very competitive.

Happy with the car and price, however we had an extremely long wait in a very hot underground car park in La Linea to collect the car on our last trip in September. There was one man on duty to look after all customers. The company know how many vehicles they have hired at any one time and should provide enough staff to cope with the demand.

I always use Espacar when I need a rental car, as they have a very convienent pick up and drop system at La Linea/ Gibraltar and Malaga Airport. My only criticism is they could offer some sort of insentive or reward scheme for repeat customers like me.

We got a Fantastic new car with an sunroof we didn't really expect which was a happy surprise. Service was friendly and efficient and the prices were very reasonable. They are one of the few honest rental places in La Linea which do not ask you to return the tank empty which is a common scam to get you to pay more. Can't recommend enough !

Have just used Espacar Rent a Car La Línea I have hired cars over many years and it was a pleasure to use this company, fret not, no hidden extras, insurance and extra driver included with unlimited mileage. The cost for a brand new car with sat nav was a bargain. To find this place? leave the border and go straight ahead over the pedestrian crossing keeping Burger grotty King on your right. In front of you you will see a row of brownish buildings forming a walk through arcade. Europcar is on your left--keep walking to the end. 50 metres ish. At the end there is another pedestrian crossing, dont cross but look to your left and you will see a ramp going down to an underground car park. Go down the ramp and the office is on your left next to the toll both. We were met there by Domingo, an easy going man who was very laid back and extremely helpful, showed a passport, signed a form and were on our way in 10 minutes. I've always been sceptical of car hire companies, wondering whats going to be added on- felt so relaxed dealing with this company. Cant recommend this company enough- highly impressed.

The service given is great and if your flight is late, they are waiting for you with a smile and a quality car which are always great to drive.
