La visita a Bodegas Tradición fue una experiencia excepcional. Combina a la perfección historia, arte y vinos de una excelente calidad. El recorrido es muy interesante, con explicaciones claras, y la colección de arte es impresionante. La cata final fue el cierre perfecto. Bodegas Tradición es mucho más que una bodega, es un templo del vino de Jerez y un museo de arte de primer nivel. La visita guiada te sumerge en el proceso de elaboración de vinos generosos con más de tres décadas de crianza, algunos de los mejores y más exclusivos del Marco de Jerez. La cata incluye vinos excepcionales que muestran la complejidad y elegancia que solo el tiempo puede aportar. Además, la bodega alberga una impresionante colección de pintura española con obras de Goya, Zurbarán, Velázquez y otros maestros, convirtiendo la experiencia en un deleite tanto para el paladar como para la vista. Las instalaciones mantienen el encanto rústico tradicional con botas centenarias y un ambiente que respira historia. El personal es profesional y apasionado, transmitiendo con detalle la filosofía de la casa. Es una visita premium, pero absolutamente justificada por la calidad de los vinos y la riqueza cultural que ofrece. Sin duda, una experiencia imprescindible para amantes del buen vino y el arte.

As someone who does not generally enjoy group tours, let me say that this was an exception to the rule. Limited to small groups, competently guided, and paired with interesting wines. The art collection is an added bonus.

Bonita visita a una de las bodegas top de Jerez. Conocer su historia, sus elaboraciones, conocer y catar sus vinos con añadas de más de 30 años, su museo de arte... Visita obligada si estás por el Marco de Jerez.

Bodegas Tradición is a small, family run, traditional bodega, so the tour feels very intimate and personal. Our guide, Maria, was exceptional - very knowledgeable and engaging with an excellent command of English. She took her time to answer our many questions and we never felt rushed. The time spent in the art gallery was a wonderful bonus. And of course the 5 sherries were delicious.

I really recommend the private tour suited to your needs. Not only did we learn about the fascinating history of the bodega and how sherries are made but we had the opportunity to have beyond an amazing tasting within the bodegas art gallery. I am sorry that i dont remember the name of our guide that was originally from Germany but she made the experience what it was and we are very grateful.

Amazing tour of a smaller quality sherry production. I would recommend coming in with a little knowledge on sherry production or starting with a different tour if you're taking multiple, but would highly recommend this tour. The tapas plate and the small art gallery were also lovely touches. Save a little extra time for getting there. The path is a bit confusing and they keep the main gate locked, but it was not hard to get in and they were very helpful - just might be stressful if you're running behind!

We had a wonderful visit followed by an even more wonderful Jerez tasting. Alejandro was our guide and took care of answering all of our many questions. It’s located in the heart of the city, which also makes it easy to go by foot (approximately 15minutes from the main plaza) which is very important if you are tasting alcohol. The place itself is amazing! Would recommend it 100%.

An excellent bodegas to visit. Pur guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The wines were spectacular. They specialise in older sherries with real depth of flavour. We came across this bodegas by chance and we're so glad we did.

We had an outstanding tour and tasting, here, and got to see the private art collection (the El Greco was our favorite). Alejandro was super informative, answering all our questions, and explaining the process the various sherries go through. They only sell VOS and VORS (20 and 30 year old) sherry, and are family run, so it has a unique and personal feel.

We took a wonderful two-hour excursion through the bodega, including a sherry tasting accompanied by a visit of the private painting collection, which dates back to the 15th century. Alex (Alejandro) did a fantastic job explaining the various steps of sherry production. They also produce a wonderful brandy.

An exceptional experience. Tours are a maximum of 10 people usually, and although we booked on the day, advanced reservation is advised. Visiting just to experience the smell is worthwhile. The tasting wines are all aged prime Sherrys from this top brand

Encantada con la visita a Bodegas Tradición. Nos guió e ilustró Águeda, si bien es una bodega "pequeña" en tamaño pero muy grande en la calidad de sus vinos. Solo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento a Helena Rivero por abrir su tesoro al publico y seguir con la tradición, a Pepe por su gran labor como capataz, a Águeda por transmitirnos su saber y amor por el vino de jerez y a todos los que hacen posible día a día que podamos disfrutar de sus vinos. A mí parecer son vinos diferentes, elaborados sin prisas siguiendo la tradición, con empaque y muy elegantes desde el fino hasta el oloroso pasando por el amontillado y mi apreciado palo cortado. Asombrada con su cream, todo un descubrimiento para mí que prefiero los secos a los dulces. Volveré y desde luego los degustaré. Enhorabuena por vuestro trabajo que entiendo que vuestra vida. Brindo por las nuevas generaciones. Os animo a ir y disfrutar del mundo del vino. Como colofón la colección de arte. No se puede pedir más.

The sherry story is very interesting. The tasting is lovely, these are very high end wines. Add in the art gallery and this place is well worth a visit.

One of the best wine tasting visit I have ever had, in a winery where you feel at home. You will not find cray big halls here, but smaller bodegas than average, with higher quality. The size of the tour was also small, definitely adding up on the experience. And the girl doing the tour....she did her job just too well: interactive, explicative, intereting. If you need to pick one visit, this one is worth every euro spent on it :)

One of the best kinds of wine tour I’ve had. It was very instructive and a lot of questions were answered. The place is a rather new producer with a rather smaller operation. Sherries are amazing and the place is totally worth a visit.

Whether you're a seasoned sherry enthusiast or new to the world of fortified wines, there’s something for everyone. One huge bonus: they’re one of the few bodegas open on Sundays! If you’re planning a weekend trip, you can easily squeeze in a 10am tour before heading home. Overall, I can’t recommend this bodega enough. we had the english tour, it is expensive but a special place with the very old sherries and the art. we enjoyed a lot.

Bodega integrada en edificio histórico de un diseño arquitectónico peculiar en las bodegas del marcó de Jerez. Aparte de la bodega de crianza con las andanas de botas perfectamente alineadas, sorprende la maravillosa colección pictórica que poseen, pero sin duda lo destacable por encima de todo son sus vinos, probablemente y a opinión de muchos, lo más representativos de Jerez, vinos de larga crianza, V.O.R.S. y V.O.S. que son verdaderas joyas de la enologia mundial. Un deleite para los sentidos. Los responsables y trabajadores muy atentos y dispuestos a explicar y a dar a entender este magnífico trabajo que se realiza en bodegas Tradición.

Una visita muy especial en Bodegas Tradición, tuvimos a Alejandro de guía y quedamos fascinad@s, fue como tener una Masterclass de Sherry. Para finalizar una cata con vinos excelentes, unos de los mejores que probamos ( visitamos 5 Bodegas en total) y la visita en la Galería de cuadros que tienen ahí mismo, eso fue el toque de excelencia ! Beber unos de los mejores vinos de Jerez y contemplar obras de arte al mismo tiempo 😍.

If you have some extra money, you can visit this winery. But it’s not really a winery, just an old warehouse full of barrels with unclear contents. The short tour is pointless. The sherry itself is not bad, but it’s an acquired taste. They don’t show the entire aging and wine-making process. The whole tour lasts about an hour. It’s not a tour, it’s a rip-off! Not worth the money.

I spent two days bar hopping drinking sherries in Jerez and Cadiz. I was still confused and didn't quite understand sherries, so I drove back to Jerez and took a tour at Bodegas Tradicion. Maria, who was previously a teacher, was amazing explaining sherry and sherry production. All of a sudden everything made sense. I highly recommend watching a few basic YouTube videos and bar hopping one or two days drinking sherry before taking the tour. If you know nothing about sherries and the first thing that you do is to take a tour, you may not get the most out of it. The best is if you take the tour with some basic knowledge and a bunch of questions about things that you don't quite understand. One other great aspect of the tour, especially if you are travelling solo, is that you get to taste high quality sherries that are usually not sold by the glass. I felt a big difference, especially in the driest sherry (fino). Maria recommended a restaurant, La Carbona, that has a sherry-paired menu. I believe that a food and sherry pairing experience can add to one's understanding of the wine. You might as well try it and take advantage of being in Jerez. Unfortunately, I was not able to go because I didn't have the time.

Located inside Jerez city centre, a 10 minute walk from the cathedral, Bodegas Tradición is not only one of the best Sherry producers in Spain (in my opinion they make the absolute best Palo Cortado) but also contains a fantastic art gallery in the winery premises with works from top rated Spanish painters like Murillo, Goya, Velazquez and Sorolla. You can get a tour of the winery and ageing area with great explanations about Sherry and a tasting. Product purchases are also available.

What a great experience visiting Bodegas Tradicion! We had nice and informative tour through bodega with Sabrina and amazing tasting of their sherries. Their VOS and VORS are mind-blowingly tasty. Art collection was a huge plus. Definetly must when visiting in Jerez!

Me atendieron fenomenal, la pinacoteca única y los vinos están exquisitos, recomiendo a todo el mundo visitar la bodega si visita Jerez.

Forma diferente de hacer bodega.Se dedican y ofrecen jerez de mas de 10 años.VORS. Bodega bien presentada con detalle.Ofrecen cata de 5 vinos en un patio con una parra espectacular. La visita se completa con una interesante exposicion de pintura española. Hasta aqui lo positivo.Lo negativo es el precio 55 € que no corresponde con lo ofrecido.

Bodega con encanto y con un maridaje perfecto entre arte y vino. Me ha encantado la ruta con Águeda, que nos ha contado su historia y todo lo relacionado con sus caldos no sólo muy fácil contado, sino que ademas lo hace con mucho cariño a todo lo relacionado con la bodega y el amor por Jerez y sus vinos. El broche es, probar estos deliciosos y singulares caldos y uno de ellos directamente contemplando su pinacoteca.

Experiencia inolvidable! Bodega donde se aprecian los valores de lo tradicional, lo familiar y la elaboración del vino de forma artesanal. Magnífica explicación de la elaboración de sus vinos, VOS y VORS, el Fino, Palo Cortado, Amontillado, Oloroso, Cream y Pedro Ximénez. Estupenda cata de sus vinos donde se aprecia su gran calidad. Gran pinacoteca con cuadros de Velazquez, Goya, el Greco, Sorolla... Mil gracias a Águeda, Manuel, Álvaro y a María por la explicación tan didáctica y su amabilidad.

Mangels weiterer Teilnehmer sind wir im Mai quasi in den Genuss einer Privatführung gekommen. Vielen Dank nochmal an Águeda, die uns in perfektem Englisch mit viel Herzblut und Engagement ihre Welt gezeigt und jede Frage geduldig beantwortet hat. Nicht zu vergessen ist natürlich die Verkostung. Ja, die Sherrys sind preislich nicht mit der industriellen Massenware zu vergleichen, aber ja, das schmeckt man auch! Wir haben leider gleich mehrere Favoriten für uns entdeckt ;-) Wenn man sich mal eine Sherry Bodega von innen anschauen möchte ist diese absolut empfehlenswert.

This tourist trap is selling an illusion. Their cute website covers up a lie. The company boasts of “centuries of its history” but was actually founded only a few decades ago, when the current owners bought some discarded assets. They define the ages of their sherries by averaging what goes into the mix. Like a horse and chicken salad – includes one horse and one chicken. Those “preservers of history” have one guy in dirty white gloves shuffling through dusty papers. Nothing is scanned, nothing available to real researchers. The lunch served on a private tour was left half-uneaten due to poor quality. Art gallery was nice. Overall, a waste of time and money. Turned me off of sherries…

We were told this was the best bodega tour in Jerez and we were not disappointed. Alejandro was very good. Lovely couple of hours in the afternoon. Definitely recommend.

Great tour with Maria, very informative and this was a more boutique experience than others. Light tapas served with pairings, and an impressive art gallery onsite. Perhaps a little pricier than other tours but nice to see how a newer bodega is approaching modern small batch sherry production using traditional methods. Glad to see it's still Spanish family owned, and their VORS selection was worth the tasting trip.

Great tour of this traditional, yet, fairly new bodega. Very friendly. People took us on the tour around the bodega and gave its history followed by winetasting with the added benefit of the small art gallery with some wonderful pieces. For the uninitiated, a great way to get an understanding of the making of Sherry

Ayer sábado fuimos por la tarde para comprar vinos y después de hartarnos de andar está cerrado, y pone que cierran a las 7,30, y al final nos fuimos de Jerez sin poder comprar nada. Ya que es la única bodega que cerraba por la "tarde".

We enjoyed our small group tour of this lovely bodega. Maria was very informative and we enjoyed the tasting and viewing the private art collection. It is more expensive than other tours but you do get a different experience. We did another bodega tour and we enjoy both - they were different. We were glad that we did both. I highly recommend this visit.

Bodega de las de siempre, auténtica y singular. Trato excelente y personalizado, pinacoteca increíble y vinos de 30 años para quitarse el sombrero, recomendable, volveré a repetir.

La visita ha sido una experiencia maravillosa, y vinos de una calidad impresionante , merece la pena no perderse esta oportunidad de ver una colección pictórica. This was an amazing tour of a very interesting and small producer. María was a fantastic guide, and the tour felt more intimate because of the small group. The wines themselves were fantastic, María was very knowledgeable about them, and it was a nice surprise to have some cheese and cold meats to pair with the wines. It was also lovely to be able to see the small art collection housed in the site. Overall one of the best winery (not just Bodegas) tours I've done and I would heartily recommend it.

Website booking didn't work, they claimed because fully booked but we had been trying for 4 days and a couple we spoke to in the queue booked last night by phone. Fully booked would not have been an issue but clearly the website is not working and I don't like being lied to.

Lovely tour by Sabrina, completley changed my views of Sherry

Today is our last day and I looked through the guide book for a sherry tasting, and I found openings for 10am tour in English. Maria, our guide is super professional and she has got a masters in wine marketing . Tour was super informative and complimentary tasting was great and comes with a plate of nuts, cheese, short bread sticks and slices of dry meats. Also quite an art collection of tiles by Picasso and paintings, a few by Goya or Velacruz .

This bodega is amazing, the quality of the wines are top tier, the tour guide(Laura) was extremely informative, and the bodega is absolutely beautiful

Great tour. Very friendly, interesting and knowledgeable guide. It's a small bodega run on traditional lines specializing in high end, long aged sherries. The sherry testing afterwards with a plate of tapas (cheese, almonds, jamon) was in a beautiful courtyard. It was well structured with generous samples and gave you a good introduction to the variety of different sherries there are. And as a bonus there is the interesting and varied art gallery.

I usually don't write reviews, but after my last visit I have to comment. I spent 3 days selecting one bodega to visit in Jerez and I have decided to go with Bodegas Tradicion. I was the only visitor during the morning time slot in Spanish, but Laura explained everything in great detail and made this experience one of a kind. Thank you so much! While this visit is a bit more expensive than of other bodegas, it was worth every penny and I highly recommend it. The wines you get to try are probably one of the best you can find in Jerez.

Good tour that gives you all the basic information about sherry and sherry-making process. The tasting of very old sherries is a delight and the art gallery is a nice bonus. As of February 2023, the cost is 50 EUR per person and includes tasting of 5-6 sherries (VOS and VORS).

Sehr kompetente und nette Führung in Deutsch. Auch der Service bei der Reservierung war sehr gut. Der Sherry ist absolut empfehlenswert. Aber mindestens genauso empfehlenswert ist das Museum mit spanischer Malerei aus verschiedenen Jahrhunderten. Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht

Wines are superlative (my favorite amontillado) but the explanation of our guide Laura was absolutely great! She is very knowledgeable, easy, kind and funny!! The visit of the museum at the end of the tasting with a glass of PX is the cherry on the cake! Gracias

La bodega en dónde se cría el vino de Jerez, de la forma más natural, y "tradicional". Escuchar al enólogo, es maravilloso. Sus vinos son excelentes, algunos con más de 40 años... No es un vino para no entendidos. Pinacoteca de lujo, para terminar la visita.

Una bodega comparativamente pequeña, pero con una visita guiada muy comprometida. Y después, una impresionante pinacoteca con obras de antiguos maestros. Absolutamente recomendable.

Wonderful visit with a very knowledgable guide.. Loved it! Open for questions and talks (we also were only 4 on the tour that day). The tasting was good - wonderful to taste the (not cheap) beautiful sherries (young and old!) they make. Very nice art gallery at the end with an additional glass in hand to enjoy it with.. (p.s. fun fact - Cocina Y Alma serves their VORS oloroso in their premium wine menu - the amount served in the class at Bodegas Tradition for tasting was 4-5 times as much as at the restaurant).

La visita y la cata de vinos ha sido muy interesante, muy bien explicado el proceso y la cata con vinos de excelente calidad.

We visited back in August and had a fantastic time. Agatha was our guide and there were 5 in our group. She was able to answer every question thrown at her with exacting detail. We are sherry lovers and also like fine art, so this was a real treat for us. If you're not into sherry, it's worth the trip for the gallery alone. There's no doubt in my mind that Agatha will be running her own bodegas one day. She is a massive asset to the company. 5/5

Venía con las espectativa muy alta, al tratarse de una de mis bodegas favoritas, por no decir la favorita, en lo que a mis gustos previos se refiería. No defraudó. Chiquitita e íntima visita, con una pinacoteca súper curiosa y un patio espectacular. Las explicaciones de 10. La degustación, la mejor.

What a wonderful experience! Laura, our guide, was fantastic. So knowledgeable and well informed! The bodegas were amazing and the art collection very impressive, with works by Picasso, Zurbarán, Murillo, Goya… insane!! And the sherry is top-notch. If you want a very intimate, wonderful visit to a real bodega that does not feel like a tourist trap, this is it!

La bodega es pequeñita pero muy familiar. Águeda, la guía que nos acompañó en la visita, ha hecho la mejor explicación de vinos de Jerez de todas las bodegas que hemos visitado. La pinacoteca es un lujo. Muy muy recomendable.

Maravillosa visita y experiencia. He visitado casi todas las bodegas de Jerez y esta es mi favorita. Cuando se aúnan vinos y arte, poco puede salir mal. Pero es que Águeda te explica todo tan bien y es tan cercana y profesional que la visita se convierte en un auténtico placer. Enhorabuena a todas las personas que cuidan esta joya de bodega cada día.

Reservamos la visita a las 18:00h, llegamos con 15’ de antelación, pero la puerta de la bodega estaba cerrada y había un cartel que anunciaba que en los meses de julio y agosto las visitas daban comiendo a las 18:30h. Volvimos a las 18:30, la puerta seguía cerrada, llamamos y nos abrieron la puerta, y para nuestra sorpresa, nos dijeron que la visita había comenzado hacía media hora, que el cartel de la entrada tenía un horario erróneo. Después de este imprevisto, nos trataron súper bien, fueron muy amables. Visitamos la bodega y nos detuvimos en algunas botas peculiares, pero fue algo muy breve, con explicaciones un poco escuetas. Por último, nos sentaron en un patio central que tienen en la bodega, resguardados a la sombra de una parra que cubría todo, y empezamos la cata de 5 de sus vinos, todos VORS. Vinos que estaban exquisitos, pero de nuevo, explicaciones algo escuetas, y copas servidas muy cortitas. Echamos mucho de menos probar algunos de sus vinos directamente de las botas con la venencia. Para finalizar la visita, accedimos a su pinacoteca, donde conservan muchísimas obras de arte, espectacular.

Una visita en inglés muy acogedora. Éramos solo 4 personas y tenía la sensación de estar en casa de un amigo. El trato y la cata exquisitos, así como la manera de contar la historia que guarda esta magnífica bodega. La pinacoteca es todo un lujo, obras De Goya, Murillo, Velázquez y Zurbarán, entre otros. Muy contento y agradecido de haber vivido esta experiencia por primera vez. Absolutamente recomendable.

Somos propietarios de un restaurante hemos venido a Jerez, a la feria Vinoble, dentro de todos los eventos que teníamos, hoy lunes 30 de mayo teníamos un evento en las bodegas Tradición, rellenamos un formulario por correo electrónico, dos veces, una acreditación por persona, el sistema nos dejó hacer las dos. Cuando nos presentamos en el evento, en el cual había muchísima gente, nos pidieron los QR, el mío no pasaba, nos dirigieron a una mesa donde estaba un señor con un ordenador y otra señora “gestionando” los incidentes, entiendo. Nos trataron FATAL, haciendo ver que nos habíamos inventado una de las acreditaciones, no intentaron resolver el problema, porque le explicamos que habíamos hecho los dos formularios etc, tienes un invitado en la puerta de un evento en una supuesta prestigiosa, bodega/negocio/empresa y no solventas la situación? Es más le dices al invitado que es un mentiroso delante de los demás asistentes, he de decir que no fuimos los únicos en esta situación y las gestionaron todas de la misma manera, nosotros evidentemente nos fuimos. En serio pensáis que nos vamos falsificar una invitación ? Era un evento de una bodega, no regalaban dinero o joyas, no se, alguna razón, no se, para colarme, somos HOSTELEROS, todo absurdo y denigrante, quiero pensar que estas personas no trabajan en la bodega, ha sido la que gestionó el evento. Para coronarse aparece el “ jefe” desafiante y bastante grosero diciendo que si conocíamos a Lorenzo que le llamáramos. Sencillamente increíble, no volveremos a la bodega ni tampoco tendremos sus vinos en nuestro humilde establecimiento. Para nosotros todos los clientes son importantes. Jamás se nos ocurría hacer pasar ese mal rato a ningún cliente, tenga invitación o no, lo resolveríamos de alguna manera porque si se presentan vestidos y con sus invitaciones, aunque algo no cuadre pues lo solucionaríamos, eso es nuestro restaurante, entiendo que vuestra bodega debería ser infinitamente mejor.

He ido con mi pareja con una invitación al evento que hacen coincidiendo con vinoble, ya había estado e incluso participado con cuando Miguel lo organizaba, pues bien, me han hecho sentir en el control de la puerta como si me quisiera colar, yo he hecho a través de su correo un pase para mí y otro para mí pareja, ambos dueños del restaurante, resulta que sólo se podría sacar uno, pero el sistema me dejó sacar a ambos, una vez en la puerta me dicen que solo se podía hacer uno, y por qué el sistema deja sacar dos pregunto yo... Sin más explicaciones la señorita de la entrada me dice que lo mío es un copia y pega, en serio?? Que repartís oro?? Habéis perdido un cliente para siempre, , igual no muy importante, pero un cliente

Preciosa bodega magnífica e interesantísima Pinacoteca y muchas gracias a Laura por su gentileza en atendernos y mostrarnos las maravillas de los vinos que allí se producen.

Los vinos fantásticos (aunque eso sí, muy muy poca cantidad, esa es otra) pero la visita una auténtica decepción. Tienes el mismo tour turístico que hacen otras bodegas de la zona, con explicaciones superficiales aprendidas de un guión y a toda prisa que hay otro turno. Donde está el plus y la diferenciación? La galería de arte? Eso es secundario. Aquí se viene a conocer y probar los vinos. Enseñar el velo de flor dibujado con tiza en una barrica, personalmente lo encuentro ridículo, cuando esa es la magia del fino. Eso es poner en valor un vino con más de 10 años de crianza? Y podría seguir.... Me esperaba mucho más la verdad, sobre todo de una bodega boutique familiar como ésta y considerando el coste de la visita y el valor de los vinos.

Pequeña bodega con encanto. La visita es muy agradable,empezando por la explicación de los vinos de Jerez y siguiendo con una cata de unos vinos muy especiales en un precioso patio andaluz. Sin duda lo mejor es Sabrina, encantadora, comunicativa y cercana hizo de la visita un momento especial.

Tuvimos el placer de que en nuestro tour, éramos sólo 10 personas, fuera Agueda quien lo liderara, mostrando en todo momento una amabilidad y simpatía muy notables, amén de un conocimiento muy profundo de la materia. A visita pode parecer mais cara que a média dos ingressos mais simples das outras bodegas, mas tem uma excelente relação custo - benefício. A guia Ágada nos recebeu com muita simpatia e passou extrema segurança quanto ao seu conhecimento de toda história e processo de produção do xerez. Após a visita à adega, aprecie a galeria de arte particular que inclui, dentre outros, Velásquez e Goya. A degustação inclui 6 vinhos VORS 30 anos permitindo que se conheça todas as variações do Xerez. Acompanha tapas com janon e queijo. Não perca.

very nice visit and clear explanations. I love wine and I have been to countless regular wine producers, this is the first time I go to a sherry wine place and I found it so interesting. The complexity of the sherry wines production is pretty significant and you do need a good guide to explain all the variations and how they happen. That was exactly the case in our experience a couple weeks ago in Tradicion.

Visita obligada para todos los amantes del xerez, preciosa pinacoteca y qué decir de sus vinos, auténticas joyas enológicas, mencionar también a nuestra guía, Sabrina, hace que te sientas como en casa, un encanto.

100% recomendada la visita y la cata de vinos. Llegamos tarde porque no sabíamos exactamente la ubicación , asi que llevaban la mitad de la visita , y la guía, nos permitió entrar , una chica muy agradable y que se nota que disfruta de lo que hace. En cuanto a la cata , increíble los sabores de los diferentes vinos que probamos, nada que ver con como huelen, te sorprende. La pinacoteca también top, cuadros de Velázquez , el Greco, o Goya .

Spitzen Sherry, dessen Qualität seinen Preis mehr als rechtfertigt. Wir waren in 2015 zu Besuch in der Bodega und erhielten eine Einzelführung, die wirklich toll war. Es gab eine beeindruckende Kunstsammlung vor Ort.

We reserved the day ahead. Very informational tour, interesting tasting of each of the different types of sherry. They buy fermented wine from various wineries in the sherry triangle for their winemaker. A curated view of their larger art collection. On the relatively far side of town but not more than a 10 minute walk from the center. Guide was very knowledgeable, if somewhat brusque. Lots of Brits. We were the only Americans. They don't yet ship to the US. €30

If you are new to Sherry, this is a good place to get to know everything about it. The tour is very informative and the sherrys just amazing and a very good range. The art gallery a very nice finish. But: it costs 30€ per person and on the homepage it is written to taste 5 wines. We tasted 4, no brandy, although we even asked. Furthermore, with our group there was no guided tour to the art collection.

En su web dicen que cierran a las 17h. Llegamos a las 16,15 y nos encontramos la puerta cerrada. Llamamos y nos dicen que están cerrando, es decir, que no podemos entrar. No es agradable ir hasta allí para nada. Si la última visita es a una hora determinada (cosa que desconozco) lo normal es que lo indiquen, no que pongan que cierran a las 17h. y 45 minutos antes no te dejen entrar. Entiendo que podría deberse a algo puntual, pero si así hubiera sido no hubiese sobrado una explicación. Por último decir que pongo tres estrellas (y no 1 como me pide el cuerpo) porque no quiero tirar por tierra el trabajo de nadie. Pero entiendan ustedes que el tiempo de los demás es tan importante como el suyo.

Beautiful Bodega with roughly 1600 barrels, specializing in very old (nothing younger than V.O.S. - min. 20 years of aging), unfiltered sherries. Tour was in English by a native German hostess. Very friendly, informative and engaging. Can only highly recommend the bodega and all their products!

Por temas laborales de mi acompañante visitamos esta bodega, a la vez recomendada por un gran amigo. Una visita explicada con gran detalle y de la cual hemos podido aprender mucho del vino de Jerez. Muchas gracias Eduardo

Excelente bodega de 1.998, aunque procede de la antigua bodega de CZ Rivero de 1.650, sitio muy pintoresco y cuidado al máximo, solo producen vinos viejos VORS de 20, 30 años e incluso más.Que decir de la Pinacoteca con Velázquez, El Greco... Vinos de Sacristía y Arte con Mayúsculas, sin duda merece una visita.

Después de haber probado uno de sus vinos en un restaurante de Alicante decidimos en nuestra próxima visita a la zona de Jerez visita esta bodega. Convocaron a las 12 y la visita empezó puntualidad. Las bodega no es muy grande así que no había demasiado que ver pero la chica nos explicó bastantes cosas de forma muy didáctica. Tras la bodega llevaron a visitar exposición de arte que tienen dentro de la misma bodega, muy interesante pero muestra claramente los medios económicos de los que se dispone. Llegamos a la cata dónde había seis vinos y unos aperitivos. Poco a poco fuimos probando, el fino, amontillado, palo cortado, etcétera, todos muy buenos. A mí la verdad es que 30 € por la cata me parece un poco elevado pues no son generosos ni con el vino ni con los aperitivos. Sí a lo anterior añadimos que los 6 vinos se sirven en la misma copa pues ya no me gusta nada, a los que nos gusta el vino y la cata nos parece fundamental poder ir hacia atrás para comparar los distintos vinos entre ellos. En resumen merece la pena visitar, los vinos son muy buenos pero yo no repetiré.

Bodega Señorial y como dice su nombre tradicional. Con La Pinacoteca Rivero,Merece la pena visitar ,El trato del personal y la visita guiada excelente.y para terminar si quieres probar un vino natural y de los mejores, premiado uno de sus vinos como los mejores,para grupos excelente.Volveremos!!!

Of 6 other Sherry bodega tours we've done this was the best. Terrific explanation of all the Sherry types. No terrible movie. Excellent Sherry, of course. And, the art gallery is really impressive. Parking is a little tricky. If you have a larger car consider parking on the street rather than following signs down the narrow alley signed for the bodega.

No cogen el teléfono en ninguna extensión y no puedes reservar. Cuandos llegas y llamas a la puerta te dicen 30€ por persona si ninguna opción, 👋 amos hombre..!!

La Bodega más tradicional de Jerez y los vinos más viejos y excepcionales.

Wir besuchten die Bodega im Sommer 2014 und bekamen eine Führung von einer gebürtigen Deutschen. Diese war sehr interessant & persönlich. Eine Qualitäts-Kellerei, die mit hochwertigen Sherrys und Brandys punkten kann! Aufgepasst: uns wurde vor der Bodega das Auto aufgebrochen. Am besten alles im Auto sichtbar öffnen, damit potenzielle Diebe sehen, dass nichts zu holen ist!

Als wir pünktlich vor Ort waren, wurden wir abgewiesen und weggeschickt, die Besichtigung wäre erst um 12 Uhr, wir hätten uns getäuscht. Eine Überprüfung der email der Bodegas Tradicion zeigte uns jedoch, dass uns 11 Uhr mitgeteilt worden war. Bei dem teuren Preis von 25 Euro p. P. hätte ich zumindest eine Nachricht über die Änderung der Uhrzeit erwartet oder eine freundlichere Behandlung.

Einen Besuch wert. Führung mit Degustation € 25. Die Qualität ist mit der Massenware der Großen keinesfalls zu vergleichen. Ausgesuchte Spitzensherrys der ersten Güte. Deutsche hochqualifizierte Führungen! Eine Pinakothek mit wunderschönen Kunstwerken ist inklusive. Danke!

We visited here after a disappointing visit to Bodegas Lustau the previous day. This was far, far better despite being a smaller bodegas. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned far more here. The sherries for the tasting were much older and better quality, explained perfectly and included some nibbles to compare food and sherry combinations. If you do just one tour do this one

Después de ver el documental "el misterio del palo cortado" queríamos visitar las bodegas. Previa reserva, hacen visitas guiadas de más de 1h de duración con una cata posterior de sus vinos estrella: fino, oloroso, amontillado, Pedro Ximenez, y el famoso palo cortado. Nuestro guía Daniel, nos hizo una visita divertida de la historia de las bodegas y de jerez.

You probably need to already be a bit into sherry for you to really enjoy this one as it focuses on the very concentrated, rare and expensive sherries. Fascinating to experience these and to see the amazing art collection

It's a very small bodega compared to some others but the wines they make are really great. The tour was a bit short and didn't go super-in depth, but our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable and she made up for it. Add in the art collection and the tasting and this is a very recommendable tour, even for people (like my in-laws) who might not be the biggest Sherry fans in the world.

Bodegas Tradición ofrece a sus visitantes una visita a bodega personal y muy completa, con degustación de sus Vinos y Brandies, así como la visita de la colección de Pintura Española que se encuentra dentro de la propia bodega. Una experiencia que merece la pena por ser algo único, por la calidad de sus vinos y brandies (sólo lo más viejos de la zona), por la magnifica exposición de cuadros con autores como Goya, Zurbarán, Romero de Torres o El Greco, entre otros, y por la amabilidad de su equipo. Mejor reservar!
