My Wife and I wanted to tour Rioja and Ribera around our wedding anniversary and contacted Riberatour to organise our trip. Jorge was fantastic, he took the list of places we wanted to visit (we have a little experience with Spanish wines), added some really interesting suggestions of his own and pulled together an itinerary that covered all the bases and added cultural stops including Segovia and Burgos. While they can organise everything for you, we decided to take some recommendations and booked the hotels and dinners ourselves and let Riberatours sort out the wineries and lunches. The wineries selected fleshed out our suggestions incredibly well allowing us to try stuff we would never have considered and the lunches were just fantastic utilising local specialty dishes. Everything is customisable and we found the pricing excellent value for money. Jorge was great company, had an incredible knowledge of the region and is an excellent guide for churches, aqueducts and the like in addition to the wines. He actively tailored what he was doing to our preferences during the tour reacting to our tastes and external events. The final day of the tour was our anniversary, three rioja winery tastings, fresh turbot grilled at the seaside for lunch and dropped off to our hotel in San Sebastian (we started in Madrid) for a Michelin meal is going to be incredibly hard to beat. We wholeheartedly recommend Riberatours and Jorge. Note Jorge also works through travel agencies, so he does not get a great number of direct reviews, don't take this as a bad sign.

We had a wonderful experience with our driver Jorge from beginning to end. He was very helpful not only as a driver but helping us plan and giving great recommendations.
