Having read such great reviews about Noguegar in Sitges, we were excited to rent with them. However, our experience turned out to be very different to the point where we even seriously considered taking legal action. But in the end and after a rather exhausting back and forth, we just didn't want to battle with this company anymore, so we thought we would share our honest opinion and experience with would-be renters so you can be well informed to make your own judgement on whether or not you hire a car from them. In a nutshell - we did a long term rental for 2 months (huge mistake) as we settled into life in Sitges. Whilst the rental started off OK (albeit with some very obscure and complicated quoting process which other reviewers have also remarked on) things went south rather quickly with their non-transparent and conflicting communication and then making us pay for a flat battery which we absolutely knew was not our fault. According to the company we had left the lights on, which is absolutely impossible as the car was set to automatic and we double-checked the lights every time we left the car. When their mechanic came to look at the car, he also confirmed that this was not due to lights but wear and tear and that we should not be charged. However, at the end of the rental they ended up keeping half of our deposit claiming that the flat battery was our fault and that they had just replaced the car battery before we rented the car. We asked them for this paperwork to substantiate their claim which they then refused to share with us. In essence we can't help thinking that they made us pay for a mechanical failure on their side for a car which had a well-used battery and was on its last legs. They also told us that they had kindly not charged us for the cleaning when twice they had told us they would take care of the cleaning, no problem. Ergo conflicting non-transparent communication. Our experience with Noguecar has been most unfortunate and they have quite literally taken us for a complete ride. Think again before you rent from them - they are total scammers and only after one thing, your money. Rent from the airport from a more reputable car company or from the other car rental in Sitges (update: we since tried Davima in Villanova- excellent friendly, honest and transparent service with a big fleet of cars - highly recommend!). NOGUECAR needs to be avoided. And please don’t listen to any rebuttal they come back with - it’s all lies.

Needed a car for 24 hours to drop down from Sitges to Port Aventura for the day. Made an initial enquiry via their website, and received a response out of hours from Jesús who was very clear in what vehicles they had available. They offered the option of delivering the car to the hotel, however as the office was only a short walk from where we were staying, we collected in person. Prices were less than the only other local rental option which works out of the Hotel Melia. There’s a parking garage within 20 metres to return the car - only snag is they have no out of hours key drop as they insist on inspecting the car on return with you so I needed to return next day (and pay the parking charge). Jesús did say that it would be cheaper to leave the car elsewhere overnight, but at €35 for the peace of mind that it’s safe and sound, I chose the local option. Will use again and recommend!

We rented a car from NOGUECAR for a day trip to Montserrat. We were also able to stop by a couple vineyards on the way back. Much better than the train. Jesus meet us at the hotel with the car and all the paperwork. He explained everything very thoroughly gave me some tips for the drive. It was first class all the way. On the return, we simply left the keys with the front desk and texted Jesus where we park the car and he took care of everything. Great service great car highly recommended.

Rented a car for 2 days in Sitges. It was this year's model and in great condition. Car was delivered and collected at the hotel. My only negative aspect is that prices are not visible on the website. The communication over email was quick and easy to understand.

Jesús and his team are incredible! Before we even picked up our car, they helped us store A LOT of bags for our wedding weekend at their office while we waited for our Airbnb to open. They also personally walked us through every detail of the rental car and gave us plenty of tips for safe travels all weekend. Jesús was very quick to communicate through WhatsApp before and during our rental period. Located 5 minute walk from the train in Sitges, super convenient if you’re coming from/to Barcelona. Car was exactly as advertised. They even drop off & pick up if that’s your jam. Reservamos un coche para 6 personas con antelacion para un fin de semana hubo un problema con el vehiculo que nos tenian que dejar y buscaron otro igual que habiamos pedido.coche limpio depósito de combustible lleno el responsable Sr Xavier. Una persona encantadora respetuoso y Jose. Tambien una persona muy amable me explico todo con claridad el papeleo a la hora de entregar el vehiculo no hubo problemas todo el personal atento . Hallo, haben schnell und unkompliziert ein Auto in Sitges vermietet bekommen, damit wir zur Formel 1 fahren konnten. War alles nett und freundlich, Kann man nur weiter empfehlen 👍👍👍 Ich hatte ein Mietauto am Flughafen Barcelona schon Wochen vorbestellt aus Deutschland über den ADAC / Enterprise und das wurde am Tag der Ankunft in Barcelona wegen einer Formalie nicht rausgegeben, war auch schon bezahlt Leider war die Firma vor Ort am Flughafen auch nicht weiter bemüht eine Lösung zu finden und hat uns abgewiesen. Von daher kann man NOGUECAR RENT A CAR SITGES nur weiterempfehlen 👍👍👍

We (a group of 5 people) rented a car from NOGUECAR in Sitges and it was a decent experience. Mr. Jésus is very polite and helpful. Apart from Spanish, he speaks amazing English and good French too. However, a misunderstanding happened while returning the car but later it was resolved with a very fast turnaround by Mr. Jésus. We did enquire a lot about this point which may have made Mr. Jésus a bit uncomfortable but it was not at all intentional and we didn't mean to bother him at all. We truly wanted to enjoy our vacation and any bad argument was the last thing we wanted to get into. Anyway, all is well that ends well 😀 ! Thank you Mr. Jésus and I will recommend your car services to my network.

Reservé sobre el mismo día con Jesús y desde el primer momento ha tenido una atención y trato excepcional. El coche (C3) estaba en excelentes condiciones, limpio, tanque lleno y las instrucciones al momento de retirar y hacer la devolución del coche fueron claras y precisas. El precio esta acorde al servicio y calidad del coche. Totalmente recomendable.

Wie im letzten Jahr versprochen, haben wir auch dieses Mal Noguecar kontaktiert, als wir für 2 Tage einen Mietwagen benötigten. Die Abwicklung von Buchung bis Rückgabe war wieder perfekt. Das Fahrzeug war neu, hatte nur wenige Kilometer gelaufen. Ich wiedehole mich: Mietwagen von Noguecar immer wieder. Rezension vom letzten Jahr: Wenn wir bei unserem nächsten Sitges Besuch ein Auto mieten wollen, dann nur Noguecar. Alles war perfekt. Von der Reservierung über Abholung und Rückgabe.

Very good service ! The car we rented was almost new (5.000 km and 3 months old) and very clean. The check-in/out process was very smooth and took only a few minutes! A recommendation if you stay in Sitges ! Much more convenient and cheaper compared to renting a car in the airport!!! We came back this year and rented again a car with Noguecar. Again top service : very smooth delivery, all documents were filled in upon arrival. The car was very clean. At the end, I got a deflated tyre and the support of Noguecar was very good, they helped me almost instantly. Clearly a recommendation if you want to rent a car while staying in Sitges. As I mentioned before, much more convenient and cheaper compared to renting a car at the airport!

Went to book a car for a day, were unable to do so due to us wanting to end the booking on a Sunday. We were OK with taking the car for two days in this case, but the prices were double of what they were offering on the website, reportedly due to high season. We were still willing to accept that offer. When the sales agent asked us at what time we would like to pick up the car, we informed that 0900 is suitable for us. The sales agent got quite upset with that and told us to just look at their website, it states that they open at 1000 on Saturdays to which we replied that yes, but it also states that the cost of rental is half of what he offered, so the information on the website is not exactly accurate. The sales agent did not seem to like the comment too much and told us that he will not rent us the car at all. We were happy to leave. Went to Anem car rental instead and had a very nice experience.

Very thorough check in, friendly staff and excellent service. Got the time extended since staff had to deal with other customers when we arrived at the agreed time. Also got a few extra kilometers for free and didn't get charged for returning the car without refilling the gass. HANDS DOWN the best rental company who cares for their customers! Will recommend to others and will rent here again. The car we used was modern and the driving experience was great. Only minus side is that I still haven't gotten my depositum, but I was informed it might take a while since I paid via debit.

Es ist das zweite Mal, dass wir diese Autovermietung in Anspruch nehmen. Das Service von Jesús ist sehr gut, kompetent und hilfbereit. Die Preise sind etwas teurer als in Deutschland aber für die zwei Tage kann man das verkraften. Man sollte im Sommer lieber im Voraus buchen. Ich würde weiterhin bei Noguecar ein Auto mieten.

Situé à 2 minutes de la gare de sitges , et d’après mon expérience, Je ne peut que recommandé cette agence de location de voiture . Les services proposés sont au top . le monsieur as du m’attendre presque 2 heures pour me remettre les clefs de la voiture , la voiture étais neuve et surtout de qualité supérieure à ce que j’ai réservé ( et sans supplément ) . Un très grand merci au responsable de l’agence , pour ça gentillesse, son amabilité, et surtout ça patience ( avec mon train en retard ) . À très bientôt

Alquile un auto para las fiestas y el servicio fue impecable. Un vehículo nuevo y limpio. Con todo en orden. La atención siempre muy cordial, y sin ningún dato oculto. A las pocas horas de haber devuelto el auto me habían hecho la devolución de la franquicia en mi tarjeta de crédito. La política de cancelación me pareció un gran diferencial respecto de otras compañías. Muy recomendables.

We rented our 7 seater Citroen C4 from the team at Noguecar for over a month having just arrived to Sitges and needing a vehicle before we got a permanent one. We loved their service, attention to detail and flexibility. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Don’t even look at airport-based car rentals because Noguecar team will go the extra mile and pick up and drop off the car wherever you need it.

You let me reserve a car on your website all just to tell me you don’t have a car available on the day of my rental. In August. Terrible. They should be taken to court. Do not trust your online booking.

You cannot book online on our website because there is not a payment gateway, Madam. Only Pre-book is available as you can see in our land page. We have confirmed you there wasn't availability by email, we didn't receive any phone call from you for a month after your request, you haven't paid any deposit in order to guarantee any reservation... And then you came insisting there was a reservation. It is unfair to accuse us about it, as long as you proceed incorrectly

Alquilé un coche de representación y su estado era magnífico, un C5 Aircross nuevo y con pocos kilómetros. El servicio y la atención en todo momento estuvo impecable/superior/fue excelente (como gustes). Sin duda, lo recomiendo ya que voy a continuar utilizando sus servicios.

En su página te dan un buen precio después de haber puesto todos los datos y tienes que esperar a su confirmación pero entonces la propuesta inicial no tiene nada que ver con el presupuesto final. Fuí a informarme a la oficina y un señor bastante desagradable y malhumorado me explico que eso siempre lo hacen así. En Sitges hay otras empresas más eficaces, competitivas y muchísimo más amables.

Alquile dos veces autos en Noguecar. Realmente el servicio es excelente. Precios claros, sin trampas y sin sorpresas ni cargos extras al devolver. En ambas oportunidades nos dieron coches con menos de 5000 km. Todos nuevos, limpios, en perfecto estado. Xavi súper amable. Excelente servicio y Sitges y además el mejor precio.

Justo este fin de semana hemos alquilado un coche en noguecar. En primer lugar el trato es inmejorable, muy cercano y dándote todas las facilidades y comodidades. Por otro lado el coche estaba impecable y nuevo. En definitiva un 10. Una muy buena experiencia. Sin duda, repetiremos.

Wir haben für 2 Tage ein Fahrzeug gemietet. Kostenloser Bring- und Abholservice der Fahrzeuge zum/vom Hotel. Netter englischsprachiger Kontakt. Unser Fahrzeug war neu und in tadellosem Zustand. Die auf der Homepage angegebenen Öffnungszeiten für das ganze Wochenende gelten nur in der Hauptsaison. Trotzdem erfolgte eine Kontaktaufnahme und Koordination der Anlieferung direkt am Montag morgen. Toll! Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic service even though i only wanted the car for one day. Explained prices and insurance clearly and enabled me to pick up when i wanted and to return before 9pm. Car was in good condition and return was painless apart from me leaving my phone in the car and having to return. They had it ready on the table for when i returned. Would definitely use them again.
