The Private Barcelona Food Tour - Evening Fine Dining Experience was incredible! We visited three different locations. We started with olive oil tasting. I had no idea you can literary put olive oil on everything, including chocolate. Then we moved to a wonderful small tapas place and we ended up in a beautiful fine dining restaurant. The food was to dye for, the wine was top notch. I highly recommend this experience! It is a Barcelona you would not be able to discover on your own!

My family and I enjoyed an incredible farm table experience with Barcelona Slow Travel. Our guide, Delphine greeted us warmly at our hotel and accompanied us to the farm. She gave incredible historical insights into the region, and her depth of knowledge was very impressive. We were then greeted at the farm of Alfons, whose organic and sustainable farm was perfect and we were able to pick our own vegetables which we cooked later at lunch. Delphine and our driver Brian guided us to the home of Cristian and Celia, who were wonderful hosts and coached us as we prepared our lunch of the vegetables we picked earlier in addition to some extraordinary cod and prawns. My family and I truly enjoyed our day and recommend this to other families.

I’ve worked with Guillermo and Cristina since 2019 through a university course I teach on food writing, and I can’t recommend their company enough. Every year, they help us explore Catalonia through a farm-to-table lens--- meeting winemakers, farmers, cheesemakers, and other incredible local producers. I had the pleasure of meeting Guillermo when he hosted 2 unforgettable culturally-immersive excursions for my study abroad students in June 2024. Genuinely, these deeply engaging tours were the highlight of our program. First, we enjoyed a beautiful olive farm tour, where we were enchanted by the idyllic property, the kindness of our hosts, the knowledge that was shared, and the extraordinary food. It was not only delicious and remarkably educational, but even more importantly, it felt like coming together with old friends and touched our hearts. And the olive oil was the star of the show! The next evening, a smaller group of us enjoyed an intimate tour of the Gràcia neighborhood, where we soaked up the local tapas culture, complete with a beautiful selection of natural wines, artisan cheeses and traditional Catalan dishes. The people, food and conversation were fabulous. It was such a lively evening where spirits were high and many memories were made. Both of these tours were so thoughtfully planned by Guillermo and his team. He was always available to help, offering entertaining and thought-provoking insights at every turn. He gave us such an endearing and beautiful taste of Catalan culture, and we will always be grateful for these moments we shared. We send Guillermo, the farmers, cooks and hands that helped to create these extraordinary moments our heartfelt gratitude! And we can't wait for the new experiences Guillermo and team will share with us again this summer!

We did the Montserrat Olive Oil & Wine tour and it was amazing. We had an amazing, punctual, and knowledgeable guide, Delphine and a good driver, Carlos. We loved how intimate the tour was and meeting Sergi (olive oil) and Gosepi (winery) and hearing their personal stories was incredible. Highly recommend!

What I'm about to say is undoubtedly going to be viewed as exaggeration or hyperbole, and while there is little I can do to combat this I must really hammer home that this is nothing but the honest truth; Delphine was a professional and the pinnacle of exceptional customer service. I simply cannot overstate that single fact. Apart from being friendly, as one would expect, Delphine treated us as though we were a family friend. She was personable, considerate, [fill in any other word for extremely friendly and easy to talk to]. I say that 100% honestly. She took a genuine interest in all of us. I simply cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am to this company, which led to us to interacting with this amazing and knowledgeable tour guide! If I could give more stars I would!

We highly recommend Guillermo and Barcelona Slow Travel! He and Christina picked us up at our hotel, they were both friendly, knowledgeable and personal, we truly enjoyed our time with them. We took the Montserrat Olive Oil and Wine tour - it was a magical experience! At the Olive Oil grove we were served a private lunch made by a local chef, the food was fresh and delicious. We ate outside with the farm owner, it was a beautiful setting. Along with the lunch we were able to sample the olive oils which were amazing. We then continued on for an exclusive Visit of a small-scale boutique winery with the owner of the winery. We were able to taste the wine directly from the aging oak barrels. The owner was warm and generous, we felt like we were right at home. We look forward to taking other tours with Barcelona Slow Travel the next time we visit Spain!

I don't even know where to begin in describing this experience! Guillermo was an amazing and detail oriented guide. We fell in love with him before our tour started because he recommended the most amazing restaurants in Barcelona before we got to Penedes! We have done wine tours in Napa Valley, CA a few times and had high expectations and Guillermo exceeded those expectations. The tour with the winery owners was so amazing and intimate and full of experiences and surprises that I won't give away! We did two days with Guillermo toward the end of our 10 day trip in Barcelona. As our travels started to catch-up to us, we asked Guillermo to make some slight modifications with regarding to timing and drop-off and he immediately adjusted our itinerary slightly which we appreciated tremendously. I hope to be able to come back and do this again and perhaps try the other tours that he offers!

Fantastic tour! We were a bit hesitant to book because it is definitely a pricey experience, but it was well worth it. We were two couples each traveling with a baby and Guillermo was so accommodating. He was able to get a car seat for each baby and communication was very smooth throughout the whole booking process. He chose two different wineries, both of which we really enjoyed and would not have found on our own. Excellent day, highly recommend!

If you want a quality, interesting, and personable experience this is the Food Tour for you! The Farm to Table experience with Barcelona Slow Travel is AMAZING!! Meeting with local farmers and picking our produce for our meal was the real deal. They were welcoming and genuinely excited to share their farming experience. They then provided the best light breakfast of wine, cheeses and bread. Our guide Guillermo worked tirelessly to ensure our conversation and questions were understood and explained… He seemed to anticipate all our needs from “farm hats” in the fields to interpreting the entire day, so all parties understood and helped the conversation flow. The meal using our bounty from the farm, was expertly prepared by our chef Christain at his home/restaurant. We assisted in the preparation, and instantly felt at home and welcome. Amazing meal, Amazing farm visit and Amazing guide. Certainly something for 4 Americans to remember!

Having been to Barcelona and seen all the tourist sites, I wanted to book an experience that was out of the tourist way. I did the Penedes wine tour with Barcelona slow travel and I'm very glad I booked the tour. Barcelona slow travel is a small bespoke company who organises private tours so whilst this can be more pricey, I preferred it as the tour was more intimate. The tour was well organised, Guillermo (the owner) picked me up from the hotel 10 mins early and we had private (and clean) transportation organised. We visited two family owned wineries and had a great time at each, plenty of delicious wine and food was served. Dealing with Guillermo was so easy, I had lots of questions which he patiently addressed over a couple of months so I just wanted to say thank you directly to Guillermo for being patient with me and being a wonderful host. A shout out to Adria as well! Highly recommend to book with Barcelona slow travel if you want an intimate experience and to see another side of Barcelona.

Guillermo was one of the most insightful and passionate tour guides I have ever experienced! His knowledge and sheer joy to reflect on the context of how and why specific intricacies were important to Catalan cuisine/culture were so helpful to comprehend all we had learned throughout the day! The full day excursion we went on was perfectly tailored to all of our needs and specific requests, along with his expertise! From the breathtaking visit to the Montserrat monastery to the impeccable olive oil tasting/Catalan lunch and finally to the boutique winery.. Awesome day exploring the olive oil and winery tour! Guillermo was great guide accommodating a large family group of 11 with ages ranging from 7-72 and made it fun and informative for all. Super responsive and well organized - the day went perfectly. It was great to get outside of the city and explore more of the local culture and enjoy excellent olive oil, local lunch in gorgeous setting followed by excellent wines. Fun had by all!

We had the most wonderful time on our tour! Marta was fabulous. She is a kind, warm, fun and knowledgeable tour guide. The winery owners were also wonderful people and we very much enjoyed spending time with them, learning about their winemaking lives and personal journeys. Everyone enjoyed our recent Penedes wine tour! Marta was a good guide and knowledgeable host. It was fun sampling the wines, hearing the stories behind the wine and enjoying the tapas and lunch. Barcelona Slow Travel was very accommodating with our group of 6, picking us up at different hotels and making it a very enjoyable experience!

A lovely experience, from the very start (initial planning emails) to the very end (a post-travel email with recipes of the dishes we'd prepared). Everything just went so smoothly, which is probably what we wish for most on vacation. Beyond the cooking instruction, we were able to take in so much about the land, history, and culture. I also appreciated the easy vegan accommodation!

This was an incredible experience all around. The area was a beautiful contrast to Barcelona and the food was incredible. Great for families and friends.

We experienced the cook your own Catalan dinner and pick vegetables from the garden. Although the experience was basically good I tore my rotator cuff getting in and out of the truck. The owner claimed no responsibility other than insuring it wouldn’t happen to others by putting a step stool out for short people. This happened on October 20 and I am still in pain every day.

Two friends and I spent 2 amazing weeks in Spain-Barcelona and Madrid. We experienced a country of gorgeous sights, beautiful people and fun adventures, and we all agreed that our Farm to Table experience with Barcelona Slow Travel was the best day of our trip. My family and I had an incredible time on a Farm to Table tour with Barcelona Slow Travel. Guillermo and Marta created a very special day starting with a morning tour of a regenerative farm outside of Barcelona; in the afternoon we cooked at a local restaurant with an amazing chef who was kind, patient, and generous with his time and cooking wisdom. I couldn’t recommend this tour as a unique way to experience the beauty and cuisine of Catalonia.

Update 2022: We had the opportunity to go back to Barcelona in Sep 2022 for a business meeting, and with a few free days, it was an easy decision to contact Guillermo for another tour. This time we visited the Montserrat area, visiting an olive oil producer and a wine producer in the Pla de Bages D.O. It is clear that Guillermo and Cristina have taken the time to cultivate relationships with these producers and it resulted in a very informative and fun visit! We were able to taste different olive oils and learn about production, we had a delicious, chef-prepared lunch, and tasted a number of fantastic wines. Barcelona Slow Travel has set themselves apart from other tours, offering real, immersive experiences off the tourist track, and really offered us a chance to learn more about the production and about Catalonia. 2019: We had an excellent tour of the Penedes Region with Guillermo. We were interested in learning more about cava production and the wine region in general and Guillermo created a perfect day for us. He communicated with us in advance and asked several questions to understand our interests and then came back with a customized itinerary to visit a very small micro-winery and a quality cava producer in the area. This was presented as a suggestion, which we could modify if we wanted, but it perfectly captured what we were interested in. The day could not have been better; from learning about the biodynamic wine production, tasting delicious high quality wines, a private hilltop picnic lunch, and a tour of a cava cellar, we could not have been more pleased. Guillermo was an excellent guide who really strived to make our day special, we highly recommend Barcelona Slow Travel and would not hesitate to book another experience.

Could not have been more fun. Guillermo picked us up from hotel and visited organic farm. Two lovely farmers explained how they grow organic crop. We picked veggies for our meal then he opened table in field where we had breakfast of cured meats, cheese and wine. Then met Frederick who drove us up steep dirt road up mountain to his restored 17th century farm house. We made gazpacho, catalan chicken stew and an amazing crème brûlée. Beautiful fun. Even loved crazy cosmo the dog. Guillermo was loving. The perfect host. Don’t miss this experience.

The gourmet food tour was such a wonderful experience. We visited a local cheesemaker (amazing), tasted some fantastic local wines, and ate some of the best and most unique and authentic Catalan foods (each dish surpassing the other). Wow! Guillermo's wine tour in Penedes was a wonderful — and unique — experience. Highlight: lunch and a long walk in the vineyard with a natural wine maker, overlooking Montserrat. Also, a cava cellar in a Spanish Civil War bunker. Will definitely do another tour w/ Slow Travel when back in Barcelona.

My husband and I had the best customized wine tour with Guillermo from Barcelona Slow Travel! He crafted a fantastic tour with different types of wineries and some of the most gorgeous views. He really took into account my wine tastes and planned accordingly. We did the tour on my birthday and Barcelona Slow Travel even made sure I had a sweet Spanish treat to enjoy at lunch. We took a relaxing trip w Guillermo to a small farm 30 mins north of Barcelona. The gentleman farmer had a small vegetable plot, chickens, and wild herbs growing in his backyard. We cooked a simple pork shoulder and concocted an easy dessert from red wine and peaches. This was all great experience for the two chefs in our three person party. The three people is our party are all partners in a farm-to-table restaurant business. Honestly the real value for us was … - validating that farm-to-table experiences exist, and how fancy they have to be - comparing farming techniques - comparing the on-site farm guest facilities to what we want to build in Mexico So, to be super honest, we weren’t really that into learning Catalan food. We were a weird group that was more into learning a business model. Guillermo was a good facilitator for both goals, and made sure we had a good time.

Our family group of six loved our day with Barcelona Slow Travel! The food and wine were both amazing, we loved choosing our vegetables from the organic garden and hunting for herbs in the forest. The cooking experience was both fun and educational and we all agreed it was the best meal we had in our three week trip. We did a day long cooking class while our ship was in port at their rural farmhouse making seafood paella, gazpacho and wine braised fresh peaches. We highly recommend this experience!

We did a private wine tour with Guillermo in the Penedes and it was fantastic. We had our two small kids with us and he was able to find great wineries who really took the time to engage with each one of us including the kids. It was a great slow travel experience and a welcome break from touring the city. We were running behind schedule due to some car seat issues, but we never rushed and never pushed to move along. This was our third private tour with Barcelona Slow Travel. And our second producers tour with a farm visit followed by a cooking experience at a magical hilltop farm. This time we had Guillermo as our guide and he is attentive, funny, knows all about Catalan food, culture and the wonderful places that surround Barcelona. Both Guillermo and Cristina have put hours of work into creating experiences that are both fun and informative, and provide a deep dive into local culture. You come home fed and content. My husband and I spent two great days with Guillermo of Barcelona Slow Travel. The first was a half day market tour in the Gracia neighborhood. We were staying only about a 15-minute walk away, but it felt like another world - much less touristy than any other part of Barcelona we visited. We ate a lot of delicious food while also learning about Catalan food traditions, and we met some colorful characters along the way. We've done a lot of wine touring, but our full-day wine tour in the Penedes was unique. We spent significant time with the winemakers at two small, high-quality wineries. At our second stop, the winemaker took us up to a new vineyard on his vintage tractor, then broke out a bottle of Cava while he explained his wine-making processes (translation provided by Guillermo.) These are just the type of experiences we're looking for when we travel - going beyond the typical tourist attractions.

We did the Farm To Table Cooking Experience but now I want to do the Wine and Olive Oil experience as well as the Sea To Table one. Cristina and Guillermo have spent years researching and cultivating relationships with organic farmers in the region. They are knowledgeable, kind, and we were so lucky that they shared all this with us! I highly recommend everything that Barcelona Slow Travel does! This is Barcelona and Catalunya you want to experience. A trip of a life time!

This was a day that we were looking forward to for a long time and still it exceeded our expectations. It was amazing to have such a tender, authentic visit with the farmers and the farmhouse where we did the cooking felt like heaven. I wish we could have spent more of our days in Barcelona with Guillermo. He was such a comfortable person to be with and it was delightful to participate in the relationships he had with the farmers. The food we made was incredible and the whole process is something I will remember forever.

Guillermo and Cristina put together two wonderful experiences for our group of 8 people. They worked with us to cater to our interests, needs, and timeline. We spent a full day going out to a rural hilltop farm for a fabulous 'farm to table' event. We helped with all aspects while being treated like part of the family. The cooking instruction was thorough and we enjoyed learning about so many aspects of traditional Catalonian food. The food was excellent, the farm was amazing, and the day was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. The next day they adjusted the gourmet food tour for Covid reasons and brought a fabulous tasting experience to our apartment. Then, we walked to a traditional bodega and tapas bar where we had a private room to continue our tasting experience. We took a paella class from them on our first trip to Barcelona, years ago, and have recommended them to everyone ever since. You won't regret a day you spend with Guillermo and/or Cristina!

We enjoyed our wine tour very much with Guillermo. He was very attentive to our needs and made sure we enjoyed our time. We learned a lot from our 2 wineries that we visited and had a wonderful experience with the wineries owners. Besides the nice experience we had on our tour, Guillermo gave us a lot of good tips and recommendations to local restaurants, bars and other interesting shops to visit. The highlight of our Barcelona trip was the Morning Market Tour with Guillermo. It was so much fun to experience the market with a local that could explain the different foods and answer any questions while we sampled. Following the market, we walked to a small bodega and had tapas and wine. We then spent some time going through local shops and tasting iberian ham and olive oil before ending with a spectacular lunch at Gatblau. Guillermo ordered a variety of local favorites that highlighted traditional Catalan preparations with a unique twist. My mom has celiac disease and Guillermo made sure we knew if every item had gluten or not and he adjusted the tour to increase the number of items my mom could safely eat. We went into the day knowing she may not be able to sample everything but it was a wonderful surprise to find that he had made such an effort to accommodate her. We learned so much about Catalan culture and food and ended the experience very well fed! Everything we had was absolutely delicious and we all really enjoyed our time and conversation with Guillermo. We were only in Barcelona for a few days but we hope to return in the future and will definitely book another tour with Barcelona Slow Travel!

My husband and I booked an incredible day of wine tasting with Guillermo and it was absolutely one of our best wine tasting experiences (and we have done a lot of them across France, Italy and California! ). Guillermo is warm, professional, responsive and knowledgeable as a wine guide but he took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for in a wine tasting experience. This was SO important because it meant the tour was tailored to us—not just a one-size-fits-all tasting in some glitzy commercial tasting room. He took us to meet incredibly interesting, small production wine makers and we had the time to really get to know the winemaker and their wines. We should also note in terms of safety he is a great driver (we have had some less than great experiences in the past) and careful regarding COVID precautions. We highly recommend Barcelona Slow Travel and will absolutely book with him again when we are in Barcelona next. Don’t hesitate on this one, it will be a memorable experience.

Was an amazing experience. If you are looking for an incredible personal tour this is it. We took our 16 Year Old Twins on it and they loved. We did 3 tours. Wine/Olive Oil Tasting, Gaudi Walking Tour, and Market Tour.

On New Year’s Day, our family (of 2 adults and two teens) was picked up right at our hotel by a lovely couple, Guillermo and Christina. We visited some local organic farms, where we met the kindest, most knowledgeable farm owners and harvested our own produce and eggs, which we later used to make a scrumptious dinner! This experience was first class all the way, hands down the best part of our visit to Barcelona, and worth doing again should we return!

My wife and I spent the day with Guillermo with the "Farm to Table Cooking Experience" and it was, without any hesitation, the highlight of our trip! We spent the morning with some local farmers, had a tasty simple breakfast (with wine of course), and helped harvest some of the crops we would be using including my new favorite vegetable - calçots! They were just barely the size necessary to eat them in the traditional way, cooked over an open fire and then eaten with romesco sauce. If you've ever seen the Catalan episode of No Reservations, our experience was similar! Oh, and the squid and wild mushroom paella we made was also delicious. Guillermo was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to talk to. We talked about the environment, traveling, politics, and everything else under the sun. I cannot say enough good things about how much we loved that day.

A dream come true... After extensively researching private experiences in Barcelona we chose Barcelona Slow Travel, and we are so happy we did! We ended up booking two experiences- The farm to table and the Gourmet Food tour. From the beginning we knew we chose well...emails were responded to quickly, communication was great, booking was easy! Guillermo was a great in providing some assistance and educating us of local festivities that were happening at the time of our visit, and making recommendations of some of their favorite restaurants. We got a chance to meet and tour with both owners, Guillermo and Cristina with the two different experiences. Guillermo guided us on our Farm to table experience which started out by meeting the local farmers, harvesting our fresh vegetables, learned about the wonderful people and how they farmed the land in that area. We then went to the most beautiful country farmhouse which was also our “cooking class”. We could never of imagined how much of a great time we’d end up having had laughing, drinking, learning, cooking and eating as we did on that perfect day! We learned from Guillermo how to make authentic Catalan dishes that not only looked amazing, but were truly delicious especially with the spanish wines he had selected to enjoy with our meal! We will remember this day forever🍷😘! Our Gourmet food tour was amazing as well as this time, Cristina was our guide as she showed us around a few different neighborhoods in Barcelona and we learned a lot about the history of the areas we walked through, she taught us about the history of the traditional food and drinks as we got to enjoy them! All of the artisanal cheeses, local wines, traditional drinks, authentic tapas we had that evening were amazing! We ended our evening at a “favorite” restaurant of theirs to be greeted by a sweet lady who was one of the owners. We were also surprised by a special guest who joined us for dinner, Guillermo! Needless to say, we had the most a wonderful experiences with both Guillermo and Cristina whom we are so grateful to have had met on our trip to Barcelona! We are now on a mission to send all of our friends and family to enjoy an experience with “Barcelona Slow Travel”! We can’t wait to return to create more memories of a lifetime!

We had such an amazing experience with Guillermo and Barcelona Slow Travel! One of a kind. This experience is a must for anyone who loves food, friends, farming, relaxed easy adventures… From the onset in the process of planning the day, Guillermo was friendly, communicative and open. I felt like we were planning a family outing that included dinner. The day was truly magical. We started out visiting an organic farm to harvest vegetables for our meal and get a little taste of the Catalan farming experience. We talked with the farm owner, Isidro on his life as a farmer, he was so friendly and open, I must admit that I interrogated 😊 him on his farming practices, organic, sustainable farming is one of my passions. We then traveled to the local store that is stocked by the surrounding organic farm collective (with yummy jams, veggies, and assorted organic faire) and collected any remaining items for the dish we were about to make, an amazing Paella. A VEGAN PAELLA!!! The cooking and dining experience at the historic old farm house was marvelous! We cooked and ate and we were entertained with stories from Pere of generations of Catalans that lived in the area and the farm house. Thank you Guillermo (and Isidro and Pere) ! I look forward to another visit.

Wonderful day out in Penedes with Guillermo. Highlight of our month on Europe and a wonderful way to complete our month long trip. If we had more time left on our trip I would definitely book in for the cooking class. We visited two wineries and it was great to spend time unhurried allowing time to have great conversations with a winemaker Pepe and Marta from the second winery after lunch. We almost didn't take the tour as I booked a babysitter for our toddler on the wrong day. I emailed Guillermo to inform we couldn't take the tour at short notice and Guillermo came up with the solution of Christina being our babysitter so we didn't miss the experience. We are so grateful!!! And my daughter had her first swim in the Mediterranean with Christina. I wanted to add tihs to my review so anyone reading this can appreciate they are very nice people who go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience and memories. Guillermo - we enjoyed everything about the tour you prepared for us, your conversation and all that you shared with us about your personal values regarding food, sustainable living, farm to table and general outlook. Thank you for an incredible day. We genuinely hope to see you again when we find ourselves back in this region. All the very best to you and Christina. No need to look further than BST when planning a trip to Barcelona. The Penedes Wine Tour and cooking class exceeded all expectations. The pace was perfect, and the experience was enhanced by the hospitality of the vineyard owners. It was the most memorable day of our trip. How lucky we were to have booked a second trip to Girona and the Costa Brava. Guillermo emailed me frequently in the weeks before the trip, and his careful research resulted in a trip perfectly tailored to our family's interests. The highlights were our visit to a cycling cafe, a few GOT sites, a fantastic eco-restaurant and an end-of-the-day swim at the Costa Brava. I recommend reading through all of the blogs and recommendations on the websites--we ate at a few of the recommended restaurants and they were wonderful.

We did the farm experience with Guillermo. It was the highlight of our trip. The farmers were delightful, and we cooked dinner at a beautiful country house. Everything was organic and delicious, and it was a great way to experience another part of Spain. I can’t say enough good things about it.

Amazing tapas experience :) we felt welcome and at home with our hosts and the rest of the group. It was an awesome family dinner where everyone got to make a little something and learned a lot about Catalonia :) thanks for the great evening! We could have stayed the whole night to chat and laugh!!! Vraiment une expérience unique à Barcelone ! De supers hotes qui nous ont fait nous sentir comme chez nous :) Un diner de famille où tout le monde apprend et participe! Les produits locaux et gorgés de soleil sont un super plus :)

We wanted to get off the usual tourist trail in Barcelona, and do something unique. This city is crazy with crowds, all wanting to do "the sights", and for sure you should see them - but spending some time with some locals is a great way to experience a different side of this city, and support the local economy. We found Guillermo and Cristina through the great reviews on TripAdvisor, and our evening at their apartment was fantastic. Cristina welcomed us, but the majority of the evening was with Guillermo in their kitchen. We also met 4 other likeminded people from the USA - all-in-all, it was great company. This isn't a classic cooking class - Guillermo splits his attention between entertaining, talking about his passions (local produce, Catalana, Barcelona and slow cooking), and dividing up various parts of the menu to the guests. He was a great host. There was plenty of wine, which helped everyone loosen up :). He sent us a copy of the recipes later on. We're extremely glad to have been able to have done this. If we'd had more time, we would have looked at some of the other stuff offered by BST. As it was, we'll definitely be taking the recipes home to try out, and have already been telling our visiting friends to give it a try.

I booked this tour as a surprise for my partner & we both had a great time! After eating some really bad paella in the city, I wasn't surprised to learn that most restaurants sell it pre made & microwaved. It was so nice going to the local market and seeing the grannies buy their produce there. The seafood we bought was the freshest it can get. The cooking class was fun & informative. We all made a full meal with starter, main & dessert. The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated. We shared the meal and had great conversation about the importance of sourcing your food locally and the art of food preparation I would highly recommend the market tour and paella clsss to anyone coming to Barcelona and wanting to eat proper paella. It's always better to have a locals experience and Christina & Gull definitely delivered on that.
