Barcelona Wine Walk

This was such a special experience! Nico took us to places we would never have found and each place was fantastic. I learned so much about Barcelona, its food, wine, architecture and history. Nico is a delightful, warm and thoughtful guide. I would not miss this experience when in Barcelona.

We had a wonderful day with Nico exploring Barcelona he was very knowledgeable about the area and we went with a family of four with two young children and he was very good with kids. I can’t recommend this option more highly it was a great way to start our stay in Barcelona and get to know the area. We did a tour more customised for a family, but I’m sure the Wine walk would be as good if not better

Nico is a wonderfully engaging tour guide with tremendous knowledge of Barcelona both from a historical viewpoint and also from the perspective of an architect. Can’t recommend his tours enough!

Such a great personal experience with Nico. Being able to choose my own food and drink along with Nico's suggestions was great. Lots of food, actually more than I could handle that day! Besides the history behind the food and drink, Nico also supplied interesting information about the area we were at. The tour took place off the beaten path and I could tell we were where the locals dined, not the tourists. It was a very very personal experience with lots of good conversation. Highly recommend and I would do it again if back in Barcelona.

Our family had such a great time on our tour with Nico! We had been in Barcelona for about a week already, and Nico showed us neighborhoods and landmarks we hadn't seen or heard of before! We also tried the most delicious tapas and wine, while being accommodated for our dietary restrictions. This was such a fun and unique experience, I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Barcelona for the first time, or to someone who is looking to gain a new perspective about the city. This was amazing!

We had a great private tour with Nico! We have been to Barcelona many times, but Nico took us to neighborhoods we had never been to before. His knowledge of the city, its culture, food and wine was extraordinary. We had a lovely afternoon walking, eating and drinking. We highly recommend this unique experience.

If you want to go on “tapeo” like a local, WITH a local, you must do it with Nico! With a background in architecture, a sommelier certification, and a true love for what he does, Nico is the ideal guide! Truly, I felt like I spent the evening with a wonderful friend, who just happened to be incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. Salut!

Nico's wine and food walking tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona. A friend referred us and Nico took us to places off the tourist track for an authentic experience. We appreciated learning about Catalan food, culture and day to day life. I can not recommend Nico highly enough.. we hope to return and do a another tour with Nico!

We were fortunate to be given Nico’s name by friends who had enjoyed his tour. While walking around to several off-the-beaten- path neighborhood spots, we enjoyed his handpicked tapas and fabulous wines. His extensive knowledge of Barcelona architecture and design was fascinating to hear. He immediately made us feel like old friends. Highly recommend!!

A friend recommended Nico and his tour of Barcelona to us. It could not have been any better - Nico recommended where to meet away from the tourist crowd and then spent the whole afternoon talking and showing us all things wine, food, culture, language, architecture, even city planning, for Barcelona and Spain. And he was incredibly well skilled in relating our own experiences to what we were eating or drinking or looking at. We loved our tour and time with Nico and for sure will look for him again the next time we are in Spain!

We had a fantastic day with Nico, who is knowledgeable about the area, wine, architecture and culture of Barcelona and Catalonia. Nico is warm, kind and a great conversationalist. He took us to delicious places for wine, cava, pinxtos, and tapas. We learned so much about Spanish and Catalonia food and wine while getting to walk around the city. It was nice to get off the beaten path with someone who knew the special places to visit and what to order. I can’t recommend Nico highly enough. If I could rate him higher than a 5, I would do so.

I booked a wine walk tour with Nico after a friend highly recommended him, and I was not disappointed. Nico showed up at our meeting place on time and delighted my cousin and me with his knowledge of architecture, history of Barcelona, eateries, and wine. We meandered through the magical streets of the city, stopping to sample tapas and wine and more wine. We didn't want the tour to end. From now on, all of my trips to Barcelona MUST include a tour with Nico. His charm is off the charts, and I love that I can communicate with him in multiple languages. He is a consummate professional and an absolute gem.

My boyfriend and I had a private tour with Nico 9/29/23… we are real foodies so the thought of wine & food tour was very interesting. Nico is very personable & engaging and the spots he took us to we would never have found on our own. I find tapas difficult to order from a menu… I agreed to be surprised by Nico’s tapas choices and was delighted every time. He is a good story teller and sprinkles architectural history along the walk. I have already recommended him to friends visiting Barcelona - it’s an experience worth carving time for. It’s unique experience 💕

Last month we had the most enjoyable time with Nico. First, a wander through the little cute streets of Barcelona sampling tapas and wine at places you'd not find on your own. The following day, Nico took us to a Catalan winery and then into Costa Bravo for an incredible 10 stage degustation meal.. the best experience.. we then wandered this beautiful place and explored. Nico is both an architect and a Sommelier so his knowledge coupled with his fabulous conversation skills, makes him an outstanding guide. Highly recommend!!

Nico was truly amazing & fun. I highly recommend doing a tour with him. Such a fun way to experience the food and wine of Barcelona. I can't wait to go back.

My sister and I booked a Tapas and wine tour with Nico and it excellent. Because it was just the 2 of us he was able to create a tour that was custom to our taste and desires. By far the best tour that I have taken. He was beyond knowledgable of the wines. He was open and extremely friendly. We asked him for tips and ideas for the rest of our stay in Barcelona and everything he suggested turned out to be perfect. I would highly recommend his tours to anyone visiting the area.
