The Spanish Touch

We have just returned form a three week vacation to Spain and Portugal arranged through The Spanish Touch. We were very pleased with the service The Spanish Touch, especially Elna, provided. We were able to do everything we hoped to do. Every transfer was on time, every guide was personable and knowledgeable and The Spanish Touch was always responsive, even to the tiniest request. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Eric and the folks at The Spanish Touch were amazing! To be honest, I was a bit worried to contract with a tour company for our student trip, but I got a recommendation from a friend, so I decided to try them out! You will not be disappointed if you choose to go with The Spanish Touch! We had a few private tours booked with Eric and all of our tour guides were wonderful and knowledgeable! We also had them help with transfers to the airport, train tickets, and private buses for our day trips. The Spanish Touch was even willing to accommodate us last minute with an additional transportation need we had. It was so comforting to know that we had "people on the ground" in the country we were visiting to inform us of any changes etc. I would highly recommend The Spanish Touch! Don't wait, just book!

I wanted to take a bespoke trip to Spain and settled on using The Spanish Touch after speaking with Eric, CEO of the company. I explained to Eric what my wife and I wanted to do. We worked together for a couple of weeks to finalize our itinerary. Wow, what a great trip!! We included Barcelona, The Basque Region and Madrid. Eric set up trips to a small Cava producer, an artisan manchego cheese producer in a village of 400 people and a cooking class besides the usual stops in the cities. We talked about wanting to do more cultural experiences around food and wine and he sure delivered. Every driver and guide were terrific. Always on time and extremely knowledgable. During the trip I was in contact with Eric's team, led by Edna, who answered questions, offered restaurant recommendations and even made reservations if I wanted them to do so. Their responses were always prompt. I would give, Eric, his team and The Spanish Touch an unwavering 5 star recommendation if you are looking for someone to set up a trip for you.

My family and I visited Barcelona and had an amazing experience with the Spanish Touch. They planned an itinerary for us which included a cava winery tour at Rimarts and tasting; then a tour, stomping experience, and delightful lunch spread and tasting at Mas Comtal. The Spanish Touch did a fantastic job coordinating our family trip to Spain and Portugal. I originally contacted them to put together a tour for our family. I had looked on their website and determined where we wanted to go and which types of tours we wanted to do. I also gave them a budget, type of hotel we were looking for and transportation options. They came back with a tentative itinerary and after a couple of minor changes we settled on our tour. We had 13 people in our group and visited Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Lisbon Portugal and Fatima.. In addition, they were able to bill each person/couple directly once the contract was signed. All the Hotels were GREAT. Clean, in good/safe locations. They included breakfast, which we asked for as part of our original request. All the guides Delores (Barcelona), Esther (Madrid), Esther (Toledo) and Kathleen (Lisbon) were incredible. Very knowledgeable on our various tours and gave us tid bits on the culture, suggestions on places to eat and what local dishes we should try. We had one minor miscommunication on a pick up point for a bus, but that was quickly corrected and did not cause any issue with our trip. We had a way to communicate with the Spanish Touch all during our vacation via Whatsapp that worked well for us to also communicate with the rest of our party on meeting times and questions we had. Overall we were VERY pleased with the Spanish Touch and would HIGHLY recommend them for any trips around Spain and Portugal.

We have used Eric Hershey and the Spanish Touch for several visits to Spain. We have hiked the Costa Brava, visited a farm specializing in olive oil, sailed the coast of Barcelona at sunset, and tasted phenomenal wine in Priorat. The service is always impeccable with excellent drivers and guides. This is not a cookie cutter experience but bespoke service to the last detail.

The Spanish Touch did a perfect job of helping us plan out our Christmas vacation trip! They booked the hotel and tickets for us and everything was exactly as planned. They couldn’t have made the process easier for us and I wouldn’t hesitate to let them help you have a fabulous time in Spain.
