Alberto was a wonderful guide - we had the best day trip to Casa Cecilia winery. Aside from the wine tour, Alberto gave us so much history and context from the moment we got into the car till he dropped us off. He also provided a list of restaurant recommendations - tried one of them tonight and it was so good!

My wife and I are considering a move to Alicante and had the pleasure of spending a half day area and neighborhood familiarization tour with Alberto. Alberto was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Alicante. He gave an in-depth view of neighborhoods within the city proper as well as those along the northern beaches. Alberto showed us typical housing, shopping, transportation and healthcare in each of the areas, information of great value to those moving to the area. We strongly recommend booking this tour if you are thinking of moving to Alicante.

Went on the Villajoyosa/Altea tour with Alberto today. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Alicante who wants to go on a day trip outside of the city. Alberto’s pride for his hometown area was clearly evident and he was very knowledgeable and friendly in all aspects. Great trip with a great guide!

I joined a wine tour in Alicante and absolutely loved every moment of it! The vineyards were beautiful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Our guide was so knowledgeable — sharing not only details about the winemaking process but also great stories about the region and its traditions. What an amazing experience. Rebecca’s love, pride, and knowledge of her city definitely shows on this tour. You tour start on the lower level of the market with multiple samples. Then head out to your first tapas bar some award winning and delicious tapas and your choice of drink. The totilla de patata was my favorite here. Then back to the market for the tour of the upper level. The first stop is at Jorge’s delicious meats(I made that name up) 😂 for some amazing ”broke da Mouth” treats. After the market tour you head out to learn about and sample some Turron (nougat), then head to the final stop at another award winning tapas bar. The tapa and drink was amazing. We had such an amazing time with Rebecca and so glad she was able to squeeze us in last minute. I highly recommend this and all tours from her and her husband. Thank you so much Rebecca! This excellent small group tour was absolutely worth it. Out guide and driver, Alberto, was friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed. He provided information, anecdotes and suggestions and recommendations. We had plenty of time to enjoy both Villajoyosa and Altea with him and on our own. The visit to the Perez chocolate factory was a nice touch. Rebecca, in the office, responded to emails immediately and assisted in making our reservation. My wife and I highly recommend this company.

Have been on several trips with Ali-Oli, in recent years. Both wine tours and olive oil. Always been a great pleasure, to be on a trip with them. Knowledgeable, and pleasant guides, who are always cheerful and share their knowledge. Gives the feeling of being on a trip with friends, and not just paid guides. Highly recommended. So interesting to explore the amazing central market and nearby tapas bars with an English speaking local who has an abundance of passion for food and a wealth of knowledge. Had a great experience with Rebecca on the walking tapas tour exploring the food market and different eateries. It was definitely enough food for lunch. Rebecca was extremely accommodating and patient with my picky child! She even encouraged him to go beyond his boundaries of his food pallet to the point he took a bite of sardines. He enjoyed the almond cake croquets and nuggets as well. Something I’m not sure he would have tried on his own. She was also Knowledgeable and answered all of our questions including the ones the kid had. So again big thank you to Rebecca.

Me and 7 friends booked a private wine tour with Ali Oli for my birthday and it was wonderful! Rebecca is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and is just a lovely human. She gave us fantastic recommendations in the local area too which made our stay very special. The trip was super interesting and relaxed. I can’t recommend this tour enough!! If I had one criticism (or piece of advise really) it would be to have had bottles of water for us in the van but this by no means tarnished the experience for us. Book it! You won’t regret it. 10/10 ⭐️

We had the most amazing experience in Alicante with both a fantastic tapas tour and an unforgettable winery tasting! The tapas tour was a true deep dive into Alicante’s vibrant food scene. Our guide, Rebecca, was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to hidden gems we never would have found on our own on Valentine’s Day. Every stop was a treat—fresh, authentic, and full of flavor! The winery tour was just as incredible! We visited a stunning vineyard, where we learned about the winemaking process from a passionate guide, Alberto. The wines were just phenomenal. We had a great experience with Rebecca on the evening tapas tour. It was the perfect way to start our vacation in Alicante. Rebecca shared her knowledge of local foods and traditions which was interesting and added a personal touch. We had a great variety of delicious tapas and excellent wine throughout the evening. Each restaurant had a table reserved for us when we arrived which was nice since most places were crowded. Rebecca followed up the next day with more food suggestions which was helpful. Highly recommended! We did the Alicante Food tour + Barrio Santa Cruz, which started at the amazing Alicante Central Food Market. Rebecca helped us understand the rules to shopping there like a local. We sampled from multiple food stalls and were introduced to a few vendors. We even went back next day by ourselves and bought a few things. Next up...tapas bar. Very local establishment near the market. Lots of food topped off with wine, beer, etc. Then a walking tour to see an old area with fantastic views looking down to the city and the port, Barrio Santa Cruz. Final stop, another tapas bar. Incredible tapa in a beautiful space. It was nice to have someone show us the ropes and we now feel more comfortable entering these little bars by ourselves. Really nice experience.

We had recently taken a winery and waterfall tour with Ali Oli tours during our visit to Alicante. We really enjoyed the wine tasting at Mesos winery. The winery was really a micro winery producing only around 25K bottles per year. The wine tastes were super enjoyable and high quality. A bonus was that the winery was located in the beautiful mountains up from Benidorm with spectacular views all the way to the ocean. Wow, what a great place to visit!! Alberto was a great guid and enthusiastically gave us a lot of interesting local information that made our experience more enjoyable. Overall, would recommend using this tour company while visiting Alicante.

Ali-Oli Tours organized our company incentive trip in Alicante including tapas tours, a village excursion, wine tour and our final night dinner and party for our group of over 150 people. I found them to be very professional and efficient and all activities and events surpassed our expectations. Especially attentive with all the dietary restrictions in our group. Amazing private tapas evening organised by Rebecca at Ali Oli. Rebecca was efficient at responding to all my questions. The staff from the cooking school were great hosts and it was a fantastic location.

We were a 23 year old group. Alberto drove us to the destination, he made us feel very welcomed and was an amazing tour guide. On our way he explained the city of Alicante and offered further recommendations of the city. He was very chatty and friendly. He gave us the best experience and was absolutely brilliant. I would recommend him 10000000%❤️

Great trip ali-oli tours! we enjoyed it alot and we went for 2 days business trip, where we explored the great cave og alicante, went to a wineyard, and snorkling.

The tour guide Rebeca was great, very nice and knew great local spots around Alicante City Centre. The tapas we tried on the tour was amazing and we learnt what was in each dish and what is the best drink to pair with it also. Not too much walking involved which is good in the heat! Would highly recommend!!

During my stay in Alicante, I had the pleasure of taking part in a trip to one of the wineries in the region, learning a lot of interesting things about local wine traditions, history, the wine production process, visiting the vineyard with tasting the wines at the end and the possibility of buying them, which of course I did. The trip was very well organized from the beginning to the end, pick up point luckily for me was from Melia Hotel, where I was staying. Alberto, the co-organizer of the trip, turned out to be a great guide from the very beginning, providing us (a group of 7 people) with a dose of humor and creating a wonderful atmosphere, a lot of information, and interesting facts about the region, which you probably won't find in ordinary textbooks or information guides. The opportunity to spend time in a nice atmosphere, meeting interesting people, traditions, and history of the region in the company of a smiling Alberto, is a great idea for relaxation and learning new interesting things. As I believe, this is not my last stay in Alicante, next time I will plan other trips with Ali-Oli Tours to see many other attractions. I highly recommend it.

Me and my girlfriend went on a wine tasting tour with Ali-Oli tours and we loved it. Alberto was our tour guide. He was so friendly and welcoming. He made sure we felt welcome and knew what was going to happen on the tour. He knew everything at the vineyard and made sure we had enough to drink. He dropped us back to our hotel instead of the spot where he collected us and we were so grateful. We didn’t have cash to tip him so we rang the company to give him a tip, it was so worth it. My friend and I went on a wine tour and had such a great time! Booking online was easy and Rebecca responded promptly to my request. Alberto es un gran guía (simpático, atento y profesional) que explicó muchas cosas durante el trayecto a las cuevas sobre Alicante y otros temas. En la cueva nos explicó muchas cosas interesantes sobre la misma. Después, fuimos a Busot que es un pueblo bonito, pequeño y tranquilo donde nos invitaron a una bebida. Por último, sabe hablar español e inglés fluido. Muy recomendable este tour (y tiene muchos más según vi en su web)!

Went on a wine tasting excursion today in Casa Sicilia. Alberto was our guide, and Oh my God what an amazing guide! I think we all can tell that he loves his job! We had a marvelous time and well spent money. The different kinds of wine was all very nice and easy to enjoy. If I go back to Alicante I sure will look for Alberto to be my guide again.

We had an excellent time with Ali-Oli wine tours! Alberto was our guide and knew so much about the winery and Alicante wines—highly recommend booking with them! They are dog friendly if you book a private tour! Our dog was able to come with us and join in on the wine tour! We had an outdoor tasting which was so nice to enjoy the beautiful patio! Ali-Oli tours will pick you up near the center of Alicante and take you about 30 min outside the city to neighboring local wineries. It was such a fun day!

What an incredible experience we had on the Alicante Food Tour, Monday 23rd October 2023. We got to see the markets, taste amazing meats, cheese, fruits and sweets. We were also taken to local tapas bars to eat some delicious and award winning tapas with drinks. Rebecca was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and we could have spent the whole day with her. I recommend doing this tour at the beginning of your trip as this will set you up to eat better and like the Spanish do.

We did the cave tour today— What a wonderful tour with Alberto! He is so knowledgeable about the Alicante area and the details of the caves. He was also patient enough to wait for me and my mom when we got stuck coming from another event. The tour itself was amazing , it also included a walking tour of Busot and the castle there, and it is such a beautiful town, you won’t want to miss it. Truly there is nothing better than learning about an area from someone who is born and raised there. Alberto was a great guide and you will do yourself a favor by booking his tour!

Highly recommend we went on the wine tasting experience. We were met by Alberto who drove us to the most breathtaking vineyard. Along the way Alberto kept us entertained with his knowledge of the area and a tour of the vineyard with wine tasting and snacks.look forward to returning and doing it all again .

We did two great tours with Alberto and we will definitely be back in Alicante for more tours! We learned a lot about Spain and Alicante during these tours. We visited the most beautiful places, a beautiful cave and a chocolate factory (we eat chocolate at the moment :-) During the visit to the cave we were alone, only our small group, Alberto organized everything, it was very cool! And we received a lot of advice on how to make our vacation more interesting, tasty and beautiful. We even got help in ordering a taxi. We travel quite a lot, but we have never met such a guide. Our family of four had a really nice and private tour through the streets on our first evening in Alicante. We liked the consept of visiting three very different styles of tapas bars. And we were told stories and the history of the bars and the foods we tasted, many of them favorites of the locals. But we especially appreciated our friendly guide who told us many interesting things of the Spanish way of living and she was happy to answer our questions. We really enjoyed the evening and can reccomend anybody to spend some hours with Ali-Oli Tours!

We had a fantastic wine tour to casa Sicilia which is a beautiful and charming wineyard. We enjoyed the transfer time where we got alot of information related to Alicante and the nature around Alicante. It was a great combination of guided tours and free time for the wine tasting. Alberto is a great guide who has alot of knowledge about the places you see, but also general knowledge about Alicante and Spain, together with many fun facts. We liked that the tours are in small groups.

Alberto was absolutely the best tour guide we have had in all of Europe! Two in our group had some mobility issues and he tailored the tour for us and took such good care of them. The villages of Villajoyosa and Altea were beautiful and we highly recommend seeing them both. It was fun to get away from the big city and see these quaint, historic places. This was definitely the highlight of our cruise to Spain!

Enjoyed it so much on my own I went again when my family arrived. Learned so much about local culture while enjoying local businesses and cuisine. Couldn’t believe how much food we were given. Delicious!

Currently on my very first trip to Spain EVER, and I loved the experience of the tapas tour lead by Rebecca. She took us to all the cool local places to get the best tapas, and it was a great opportunity to get to know the area through food!

I had been planning this trip for a couple of months, and everything went as smoothly and as well as I had hoped. Alberto, our tour guide, was as informative about the vineyard, and as accomodating as can be. We were taken around the gorgeous grounds at a comfortable pace, learning about the grapes and harvest. After the tour, the wine tasting was held in a beautifully decorated hall and we were able to take our time with a few nibbles to enjoy the samples. I think the value of money with this tour company is definitely worth your while as we now have lots of fantastic memories of the day. Overall, the whole day exceeded our expectations and it is mostly thanks to our brilliant tour guide!

Ali-Oli Tours is a very experienced, small scale tour operator. We had a very lovely and interesting day with Alberto to Elche, the Palm Grove and El Fondo Nature Reserve. We can recommend Ali-Oli Tours highly if you wish to see and know more of the Alicante region.

Just realize they don't actually have an office. Walked all the way there and no such building. Offered only certain tours during our stay, not the ones we saw advertised. We didn't take the offered tour so I can't give an accurate rating.

Excellent vineyard tour. Alberto, our guide, was full of information. My husband is a wine judge in Canada and asked many questions. Alberto was able to answer all but one. Good selection of wines to taste. The beautiful buildings that and equipment in very good condition. We thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to go on more tours with Ali-Oli.

I went with my partner and we had the absolute best time!! It was a small group which was nice. Alberto was super friendly and knowledgeable. There was a ton of history to the winery to be learned and delicious wine to be had at the end! We ended up running a couple minutes late and missed the van from Alicante (our fault entirely, they tried to call us before leaving also but I didn't have an international phone plan). It worked out though because after driving to the winery, we were able to stick behind afterwards for the 1pm set lunch which was fabulous!! The service was supreme. We ate outside with an outstanding view. The gazpacho was amazing.

I want to say thank you very much for the wine tour. It was great and Alberto was VERY VERY EXCELLENT. We all enjoyed Alberto´s explaining the whole process. He had very good touch and was very knowledgeable. The wine tour was the highlight of our Alicante visit.

We loved our English tours with Ali Oli. They are from the area and were fantastic giving us info throughout the entire trip. We went on 2 different tours with them. I would absolutely recommend them for any of the tours they offer!

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our guide Alberto did an amazing job. We got a far better experience that we could have expected. The caves are stunning but knowing the history and how it fits into the location makes it more meaningful. Don't miss out.

We went on SIX tours with Ali Oil tours.. I wish we could have gone on more. After the first one, we quickly scheduled Alberto and Rebecca for guides to be our introduction into the beautiful area around Alicante. Our trips were easily 5 star... I wish we could give them 10. On every tour, we were told us of the specific history, the cultural significance, the agricultural challenges. We learned the details in the growth, harvest and processing of grapes and olives that created excellent wine and olive oil. These small farms are the backbone of making wine and olive oil an art form.These tastings were highlights as tapas, snacks and lunch were supplied overlooking beautiful landscapes. The caves, charming villages, chocolate factories, churches, castles,, fortresses, market became meaningful with expertise knowledge. We felt a part of the struggles and joys as Alberto and Rebecca became the heart and pulse of the people and communities we were visiting. They were like walking encyopedias. Every minute was well thought out for educational interests and allowing quiet time for enjoying the beauty. If you have a day or a month around Alicnte, i highly recommend you spend the time with Ali-Oli tours. It will be the highlight. Every tour was superior. ...10 star experience.

We did the afternoon Tapas tour with Ali-Oli Tours and it was a great introduction to the local gastronomy of the area. The tour was very informative and the guide was passionate about everything she explained. First we visited the Central market where we tried a variety of foods from local pastries to olives, nuts, seasonal fruits and a plate of ham and local cheeses and even some sweets at the end. Then we went to 2 different local bars and had several tapas paired with drinks. It was a very generous amount of food and we were full at the end of the tour. My wife and I now know what restaurants to go to and what to order. The quality and value of the tour was excellent. We had such a great time that we then did a winery tour with them which was also great. Thank you to the Ali-Oli Tours team!

My partner and I did the Guadalest tour with Ali-Oli Tours and we had a fabulous time. The scenery is spectacular in the Guadalest valley and the town is super nice. It's definitely a place you should visit when staying in Alicante. The personnel at Ali-Oli Tours were very professional and considerate of all our needs from the booking process down to the tour. The guide is excellent at what he does and made the day trip so smooth. We were lucky to find them for this experience. We totally recommend!

We have been on many tours over around 6 or 7 years now with Alberto, we now consider him to be a good friend and he has taken us to some unique and wonderful places in and around Alicante. Alberto has a wealth of knowledge & is passionate about his country and what he does. It's been a joy to have him as our guide. The tours have been varied over the years although we seem to find ourselves back at the wineries! They are all very unique and a great experience. We took a cooking class with Ali-Oli tours and it was just wonderful from start to finish. Rebecca was a great communicator beforehand, and when she got us to Jaime and his beautiful kitchen it just took off. We had such a great time and Jaime was a terrific instructor. Wine all day, terrific tapas available from the beginning and of course the dishes we made were delicious. Loved it all around.

We went on the Olive Oil your yesterday. Just brilliant. The whole process of booking a trip to the attention to detail on the trip itself was just fantastic. When I called up I spoke to Rebecca who was very helpful and helped me decide the best trip to take my staff on for our Christmas Day out. Being in hospitality we chose to learn more about olive oil. The tour was great, our guide Alberto explained the local villages as we drive through the mountains up to the farm. When there we got to see the olive trees growing olives and the different varieties, what makes an olive oil extra virgin and how they harvest the olives was all explained out in the fields. Then we came back to the 100 year old house to see the processing and we talked about the bottle design and family history which was super interesting. We got to meet abd tslk with the owners and then relaxed with a picnic eating fresh tomatoes, freshly baked bread, olives of course and different meats and cheese all drowned in the best tasting olive oil. Truly a trip to remember and definately worth booking with Ali oli toues.

With corona times hurting the tourism business, I am writing reviews for tours I’ve done and places I’ve stayed that really left an impression on me in the past. A couple of summers ago, I visited Alicante for the first time and did the wine tour led by Alberto. It was fantastic! He’s from Alicante, so he knows the region inside and out. We had a lovely day and practically had the vineyard to ourselves. The wine was great as well 😊🍷
