CAN XO is nestled in the quiet valley overseen by the charming village of Sant Augustin des Vedra, which is 10 minutes away on foot, and 5 minutes by car from Sant Josep de sa Talaia. Both villages offer great cuisine options. Being on the southwest of the island, you are a short drive from the most beautiful beaches Ibiza has to offer: Cala Comte, Cala Bassa, Cala Tarida and Cala Carbo just to name a few.

Can Xo is a short name for Can Guerxo, our ancestral home, a typical ibicenco “payesa” finca that has been in our family for at least 400 years. A loving and careful renovation introduced a modern sense of style and comfort to offset the rustic natural beauty of the property, but the archetypical forms and architectural elements which so define traditional Ibiza have been beautifully preserved.

In the main house all bedrooms are situated around the living space, which is now the television room. While in the guesthouse the bedroom is on the first floor; downstairs you’ll find another living space with adjoining extra kitchenette.

The half open-plan kitchen opens up to the bbq-terrace. The swimming pool is set on a higher level and overlooks rolling green hills and hectares of peaceful countryside.

This maphas a short list of our favorite beaches, villages, attractions and restaurants (not always the fanciest, but always delicious).

We recently made our first trip to Ibiza and can’t wait to go back. We can’t imagine there is a neater house available on the island. There were 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room. We felt like we had stepped back in time into a house with thick stone walls, traditional wood-beam ceilings, a stone courtyard, outdoor dining in a beautiful setting—while enjoying all the modern necessities—brand new bathrooms and kitchen, air conditioning and a beautiful pool. The pictures are beautiful, and the actual house and grounds are even more spectacular. We have stayed in many rented houses and apartments around the world and this was, by far, the most comfortable and welcoming house we have ever stayed in. We will definitely stay here again. I’ve booked this dream place for my birthday and it has been the best finca I’ve ever rented in ibiza. Everything is very well kept, extremely comfortable while maintaining its authentic charm. There is attention for every detail. The beds extremely comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, the garden and pool were the dream. Federica is the owner and has been extremely sweet and very welcoming. You have the real feeling of being home. I will definitely go back
