We joined the Guggenheim Museum tour on 30/09/2025 at 10:00 am but were unfortunately not fully satisfied, especially considering the full price (CHF 180.- for 2 persons) we had to pay. Reasons: 1. Jeff Koons’ Puppy is being replanted with flowers (since abt. 1 week) 2. Jeff Koons’ Tulips were not on display (we were told they are being cleaned). 3. The reflecting pool around the building was empty for cleaning. 4. The gallery with the permanent collection of contemporary art paintings was closed, for reasons not explained. We understand that maintenance is sometimes necessary, but it would have been helpful to be informed about these restrictions in advance or a price reduction would have been made. We're sorry you won't enjoy the museum to the fullest. Sometimes, in all museums, there are exhibition changes and maintenance. For this reason, generally only a few rooms are shown, and now the entire museum is open. A private tour was also provided, and the price includes more than just admission, which is not the cost of the visit. The price reflects the value of the service received: a private tour, a professional guide, premium services that unfortunately have to be paid for. We could be more affordable, but there are other low-cost companies for that service, and we don't offer that. We're sorry, but we're a premium service company.

Súper mala experiencia, hice una reservación para una visita guiada al guggenheim en Bilbao, y el guía nunca se presentó. Ahora no quieren regresar el dinero, les recomiendo no reservar con esta agencia

Sentimos su respuesta pero lamentablemente revisando el WhatsApp en el momento de su cita, ustedes no estaban en el punto de encuentro a las 4,30 pm. El guía comenzó la visita con una persona, ya que no hacemos grupos grandes y ustedes eran 6 personas. La clienta estuvo esperando 10 min y ya se enfado y el guía tuvo que comenzar. Ustedes nos confirmaron que estuvieron en el interior del museo, en la venta de entradas y mandaron a su hijo, pero el guía había comenzado. Intentamos contactar con el guía para que les recogieran. Por otra parte, nos comentó el museo que eran 6 personas, entre niños y adultos, pero no iban bebes de 0-4 años. Sin embargo ustedes compraron 3 entradas de adulto y 3 de bebes. Las entradas no serían validas como les comento el museo. Con lo cual han valorado el que no estaban en el punto de encuentro a la hora de comienzo y no han valorado que no eran correctas la compra de sus entradas. De todas formas, no realizando la actividad y el guía esperando con un cliente molesto por la espera, se les indicó que se reembolsaría la actividad no siendo nuestra culpa. Esperamos que otra vez puedan disfrutar.

Nuestro guía fue Javier y no podemos estar más contentos. Un hombre muy agradable que nos enseñó la parte antigua de Bilbao y nos contó curiosidades e historias de la ciudad. Tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con el Maps y solo tuvimos que preguntar con WhatsApp a la persona encargada de la agencia que nos resolvió inmediatamente el problema. Our tour with Javier was extraordinary.. He has great passion for the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum. He spent about a half hour outside and two hours inside. He spoke to the development of the museum, its impact on Bilbao’s economy, and in depth discussion of the numerous exhibits and the artists who created them. We took this tour independent of our cruise line tours and are thankful for making this choice. We are certain anyone taking this tour with Javier will be equally pleased.

Teresa was a lovely guide and very passionate about the Guggenheim. I think her English was still very much in learning mode as she was difficult to follow and struggled to find the right words. This slowed everything down and we missed many parts of the museum.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy the visit as much as you should. However, I hire a 2-hour visit and you can't see the entire museum in that time, you can go through the essentials to learn about the history of the Guggeheim. As for the language, unfortunately I would like to tell you that Teresa has a degree in English philology and has passed the official professional guide exam. We hope you enjoy another time.

We had a tour of the Guggenheim in Bilbao with our wonderful guide Teresa and she was so lovely! We really enjoyed the museum much more knowing the background and insight that Teresa gave to us. She was engaging and entertaining, and very thought-provoking with the conversations, questions and answers, and interpretations. We are not normally understanding modern art, so Teresa really helped us to experience the museum, the art, and the exhibitions on another level and in a very positive light. My wife and I visited the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, which we booked through Explora Norte. How extremely fortunate that Javier was our guide! He is knowledgeable, inspiring, creative and very kind. We learned so much about the exterior architecture; from the interactive walk through exhibits; key pieces of art; and, of course, Puppy! We visited from New York, with its own Guggenheim, and weren't sure the Bilbao Guggenheim would be worth a visit. Boy, were we surprised and delighted! Javier helped make his tour the highlight of our visit to Bilbao. He was so enthusiastic, he would have continued for more hours. We overwhelmingly recommend Javier as your tour guide. He'll open your eyes and ears!

La mejor manera de conocer Bilbao y sus alrededores es de la mano de Explora Norte. Nuestra guía, Laura, fue estupenda: clara, didáctica y amena. Ya hace 6 años hice con Explora Norte mi primera visita y he repetido este fin de semana: cada experiencia ha sido mejor que la anterior. Lo recomiendo.

Unserer Guide hat erst die Tour um 1 Stunde verschoben und dann ist er zum vereinbarten Treffpunkt nicht erschienen, erreichbar war keiner bei Explora und der Guide ist auch nicht an sein Handy. Da wir nur 1 Tag da waren, ist dies sehr ärgerlich und ich kann keine Empfehlung geben, ganz im Gegenteil. Wer sicher einen Ausflug buchen möchte, besser nicht hier!! Update: 24.08.24 Da der Betreiber nicht die Wahrheit in seiner Antwort geschrieben hat, füge ich die Bilder der Buchungsbestätigung und die E Mail vom Veranstalter bei, wo um eine Stunde verschoben worden ist bei! Auch Get Your Guide konnte den Veranstalter nicht erreichen. Wenn man sich nicht korrekt verhält, sollte man bei der Antwort wenigstens bei der Wahrheit bleiben und nicht versuchen alles schön zu reden und mich schlecht zu machen, eine Entschuldigung wäre hier angebrachter gewesen! Ich habe nur das geschrieben, was auch passiert ist.

We are sorry that you did not make the visit. After consulting with the guide and several clients who did take the same tour, we can only tell them that you did not arrive at the indicated point or that you did not meet the guide. The schedule was changed by 30 minutes since, they were aware that we are in Bilbao's big week, it was full of people and we delayed 30 minutes so as not to coincide with an event in the same place. Since the guide waited 15 minutes with 3 more people who wanted to start on time, you did not find the group. Even so, because there were many people, knowing that they did not show up, we requested a full refund, which has already been made before this very ungracious comment. We are sorry that you will not locate the meeting point or the guide, however the amount of the visit will be refunded. It was not our problem and we have found solutions. Thank you

My husband and I visited the Guggenheim Museum and were fortunate to have Javier as our guide. He has been doing these tours for many years and his knowledge was fantastic. He was able to keep us moving along while explaining all of the highlights from the building of the museum to the sculptures and artwork presented in the museum. We highly recommend Javier as a guide for the Guggenheim Museum.

We had an excellent experience with Explora Norte for a tour of the Guggenheim Bilbao with Vanesa. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the architecture as well as the collections of the museum and special exhibits. Two and a half hours passed so quickly. For anyone interested in art and architecture this has to be one of the best visits. Exceptional!

The guide did not show up and the company would not give us a refund. We were at the exact meeting location 15 minutes early and stayed for an hour. We called the company 3 times, starting 3 minutes after the meet-up time (since we got there early). They never answered the calls. We sent them 3 WhatsApp messages asking where they were, including a time stamped picture of the meeting location. They did not answer any of these message either. Two and a half hours later, they responded on WhatsApp to say they would reschedule the tour for the next day. We were on a cruise and could not go a day later. They then lied to the 3rd party booking company and said we were not there Do NOT use this company!

We are very sorry that you could not make the visit. The guide was at your meeting point at the indicated time and day. You guys didn't show up on time. It seems to me that you are making a mistake since the refund is made even though you did not show up, it was returned. With which we are sorry that he could not do it. But the return is done.

Een rondleiding van 3 u gegeven door een enthousiaste Xavier. Het was een kleine groep van noorderlingen. Xavier liet ons alle mogelijke ervaringen meemaken binnen en buiten maar bovendien stuurde ons geweldige foto's geschoten in de avond. Geweldige gids.

Avoid them. We booked them for a two hours tour of the old town of Bilbao for Wednesday 25 of November and they informed us 3 hours before that it wasn't possible to do it and they agreed to do it Sunday 27 of November. We changed our program in Bilbao because of that and when we arrived at the meeting point, Arriaga theatre nobody was there. We called them and they didn't response. Avoid them at any cost.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your tour. They reserved it for Saturday, November 26. And indeed, 3 hours before we told them that the guide was sick. Positive in covid. Due to company policy, we do not carry out activities if the guide is sick and can infect clients during their stay. We are sorry and hope for your understanding.

He hecho la visita gastronómica y ha sido interesante. Toda una historia con la mejor compañía, y encima con unos pintxos que amenizan la visita. Es aconsejable y el guía simpático y colaborativo.

Hemos hecho una visita esta tarde por el gugenheim y sus alrededores y la verdad que las explicaciones muy claras e interesantes, lo que la hizo muy amena y colaborativa. Se la recomiendo a cualquier persona que quiera conocer Bilbao.

I booked a tour through my credit card company, which clearly states that this was a 2 hour tour WITH admission to the Guggenheim. Instead, we got a 55 minute tour, and had to pay for admission to the Guggenheim. The tour guide was OK. My credit card company tried for 3 weeks to contact them for a refund, either in partial or in whole. They did not respond. Avoid this company at all costs.

Buenos días , Este domingo pasado fuimos hacer la visita guiada con pintxos y pote por Bilbao, y no terminamos nada contentos. Para empezar, nos pusiron a un guía extranjero que no sabía apenas nada de Bilbao y no dominaba bien el castellano. Y para terminar, nos dieron un punto, cuando en el cupón pone Pintxos. Yo he hecho otras visitas guiadas a otras ciudades, los guías estaban muy preparados y la verdad es que con esta visita no nos llegamos nada de la historia de Bilbao. Ha sido verdaderamente indignante.
