Food Lover Tour Valencia

I had previously walked the old city but wandering it with Victor was a much more involving experience. The food and restaurants he showed us were all great and the matching wine and beer topped off a night to remember.

I had a wonderful time on the Tapas Tour with Andrea last night in Valencia. The food was spectacular and I enjoyed going to places I would have never stopped in as a tourist. I always appreciate learning about the local cuisine and Andrea was very knowledgeable about the origins and history of the dishes and drinks we tried. And it never fails that I seem to always meet someone interesting when on one of these tours. I have done similar tours in Barcelona and Madrid. I highly recommend as this is a great way to be introduced to a city and it’s a great value for the money.

A truly terrific tour. Andrea was an excellent guide, the group was a great mix, as was the choice of tapas restaurants. I have been on a few food tours in Europe and this one was the best. So much fun!

Jack, our host, was a great tour guide. Told us a lot of interesting tidbits about where we were and the food and the types of food. We did the morning food tour, so we had some lovely orange cake and some toastata (think that's how you spell it) with some lovely tomato on top. Then a tortilla and some lovely sausages. We then went to valor and had some nice churros with a great drinking chocolate. After we went to the market and had an olive oil tasting and then some horchata and then finally some ham and cheese mix. They were all very nice. Finally we tried some no melt chocolate which was interesting but good. Had a lovely time and only had 3 of us on the tour which was quite good.

We really enjoyed the tour and Ghita was an excellent host. All four locations where we stopped for food were excellent, with a wide variety of tapas on offer, together with some very nice local wines, beers and other beverages. All in all, we'd thoroughly recommend the experience, which lead us to visit establishments that we probably would not have picked for ourselves. Thank you Ghita!

Awesome trip and very kind und fun guide

We had an enjoyable experience with Tatiana. She was friendly and spoke highly of the area. We could tell she is passionate about Valencia. We had a wide variety of food, all delicious. We went to a good mix of spots - cafes, the central market, almost like a speakeasy cafe, etc. Even though this was primarily a food tour, we learned a bit about the local history. In the future I would recommend having all of the guests introduce themselves (name, country of origin, what brings you to Spain) at the meeting spot to more easily allow for conversation during the tour.

Fabulous tour. We tried different types of typical Spanish breakfast and brunch dishes as well as some Vermut and specialty coffee. Tatiana was a very personable guide that explained the different dishes very well and ensured a good atmosphere in the group. Highly recommended!

An absolutely fantastic cultural experience in the heart of Valencia! We were a small group- only four people so it felt as if I was having dinner with friends. Every dish and drink pairing was local to Valencia and thoroughly delicious! I can’t finish this review without mentioning our fantastic guide Tatiana. From the first moment she was so friendly and made me feel so welcome! Her knowledge of the city and the food was excellent! I can honestly say that this was the best and most memorable food tours that I have ever done!

Ben was a wonderful host and we had a lovely evening sampling a variety of tapas and drinks around Valencia while getting to know a variety of fellow travelers. The spots we visited had great service and delicious food, Ben gave the cultural and historical background for each item and we got tips on where the locals spend their time. After the tour, most of our group decided to continue the night at one of her recommended bars to have Agua de Valencia. This experience would be great for those traveling with companions or alone who want to meet new people and get a taste of authentic Valencia!

This was a great experience and tour. I am quite picky about my food and pretty much all of the tastings were very good so definitely worth going on. Our host was also very knowledgeable and handled things extremely well and gave great direction with the aim to being a group of friends enjoying the tour together. One of the best parts was that we all sat on the same table even though it was a good sized group.

I joined this tapas tour with Ghita to get the opportunity to try many dishes, and this did not disappoint! We had a range of tapas from seafood, to meat, to dessert - as well as a particular delicious orange wine - and Ghita was an excellent guide who made everyone feel at ease, creating a fantastic vibe for the group. Hele leuke tour. Je ziet meerdere plekken van Valencia en je eet lekkere lokale gerechten. Bij de winkeltjes kan je ook wat extra’s kopen, maar dit hoeft niet. Onze tourgids Fatine deed het zeer leuk en was zeer vriendelijk!
