Valencia is a beautiful city but you need to get out of the city and experience the real Valencia. Our tour took us along the vibrant beach promenade, past traditional fishing houses and then through the beautiful serene farmland. It was like time had stood still. We had a fabulous farmers brunch at a gorgeous Alqueria and felt like a local. On our way back to town we stopped at a traditional horchateria, a must do in Valencia. Our trip back through the electric El Cabanyal, seeing the beautiful tiled fisherman’s houses, a side of Valencia we would not have seen independently. The cycling was easy, a gentle pace and safe. Our guide Adrian was very informative, a proud Valencian, who was eager to showcase the true Valencia. He went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed the tour and were satisfied, and we left with a greater understanding and appreciation of the Valencian spirit. A fabulous few hours spent in Valencia away from the madding crowds.

Este camino ha sido una experiencia que se nos quedará en el alma, gracias a la organización de AGB Tours, especialmente de Adrián. Empezando por los hoteles con encanto como el Hotel Antolín, el cual nos ofreció una velada inolvidable entre una cena casera de sopa gallega y la magia de un atardecer frente a la ria. Por supuesto, destacar el día en el Balneario Acuña. Un auténtico paraíso termal donde el cuerpo te agradece la relajación entre aguas calientes al aire libre y en el spa después de un dia largo caminando. Respecto al tema de las maletas, ha estado totalmente acertado. No hemos tenido ningún problema en dejar y recoger las maletas, siempre han sido muy puntuales, lo que genera mayor confianza. Por otro lado, los lugares recomendados en la guía también nos han robado el corazón, desde los castillos, iglesias y catedrales, hasta los paseos por el mar en baiona, camino de vigo y cascadas y bosques que te aportan paz absoluta. Se agradece tener distintos puntos marcados en el google maps por si no tienes mucho sentido de la orientacion o simplemente por saber por dónde estás caminando. Otro de los puntos recomendados es elegir la opcion de coger taxi previa llegada a vigo, ya que nosotras quisimos hacerlo caminando y estamos de acuerdo con Adrian de que no te pierdes nada y asi no terminas tan cansado. La gastronomia recomendada, no fuimos a todos los indicados por la guia, pero sí destacar las empanadas de Kami, el menú de peregrinos casero en Casa Consejo, los pimientos de padrón de la Taberna "A Pedra" y sobretodo la Vinoteca Diferente, donde pudimos disfrutar de una cata de vinos acompañadas de buena gente, risas y degustación de distintos platos típicos; muy bien preparado por parte de MariCarmen, quien fue muy atenta y amable con todos nosotros. Por supuesto, terminar hablando de la emoción de llegar a la plaza del Obradoiro, recoger los certificados y celebrarlo con una cena en el Bar la tita, donde te dan a probar un pincho de tortilla "líquida" si pides una bebida, riquísima.

My daughter and I did a group trip with AGB Tours on the Northern Camino route from Biarritz to Bilbao. Adrian is an amazing guide -- knowledgeable, experienced, and thoughtful. The route he chose is gorgeous with varied and interesting terrain with lovely stops along the way. He knows how to pace the day to make it doable. Adrian loves to share about the history of the Camino as well as the surroundings. The lodgings were interesting and different -- all were clean and comfortable with delicious breakfasts. The restaurants and cultural activities included or recommended were also great. We are looking forward to another trip with AGB tours and recommend it highly.

Muy recomendable, al principio era reacio en ir a una agencia de viaje pero siendo un grupo relativamente numeroso fue lo mejor. Adrián nos organizo el tour, nos aconsejo que pueblos visitar y reservo en los mejores alojamientos. un 10

They curate moments with locals that are off limits to most tourists and balance it all with the must see highlights. The pacing of activities allowed for you to never feel rushed. Siesta please! The real magic happens as you find your rhythm as a group. Our guide, Adrian continually adapted and provided support to every individual. It is really magical to just be able to wake up and walk and experience the beauty and learn about your surroundings while he manages all the logistics thoughtfully and efficiently. He knows how to pace the day to make it challenging enough but also really do-able and fun. The route he chose is gorgeous with varied and interesting terrain and lovely villages to stop in. Adrian knows and can share much about nature and the surroundings and the history of the Camino, but he is also willing to walk quietly and just soak it all in with you, which I think is a perfect combination. The lodgings were interesting and different - all were clean and comfortable with delicious breakfasts. The restaurants and cultural activities included and/or recommended were also great. I am already looking forward to taking another trip with AGB tours and recommend it highly.

Group Tour - Camino del Norte (Biarritz to Bilbao) with Adrián from AGB Tours As a seasoned traveler, I’ve had my share of “epic” trips — but few have stayed with me the way this journey from Biarritz to Bilbao has. It wasn’t just a walk. It was a beautifully held passage through history, culture, and some of the most stunning landscapes I’ve ever seen. We began in Biarritz, where golden light and ocean air made even the first steps feel cinematic. In Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we danced under firelit skies for St. John’s Night, a local solstice celebration that felt like being let in on a secret. The next evening in Hondarribia, we toasted the summer solstice in a medieval town glowing with tradition and warmth — sunlight stretching late into the night. San Sebastián brought refinement and indulgence — a chance to slow down, savor extraordinary food, and take in sweeping views that reminded us why we walk. Then came Guernica. Standing beneath the Tree of the Basques and walking through the Peace Museum was humbling. It was the emotional anchor of the trip — a reminder that this region carries stories, not just scenery. And just when I thought I’d seen the best of it, we climbed the winding stone staircase to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe — the legendary monastery perched above the sea. Ringing the bell at the top, with the wind at our backs and the Atlantic below, felt like a benediction. This wasn’t a trip that checked boxes. It was one that opened doors — to memory, connection, and quiet awe. Led with heart, held with care, and rich in moments both joyful and profound, this Camino left its mark. If you’ve traveled widely and think you’ve felt it all — this walk might surprise you.

What a wonderful experience with Adrian! He is a great tour guide with a lot of passion and attention to detail. He really goes out of is way to make the trip extra special. I saw places and learned things I could not have experienced by myself. Worth every penny!
