We can’t express enough how amazing our trip to Spain was, thanks to Sarah Gemba with Spain Savvy! From my very first contact with Sarah, I knew we were in great hands. Having never traveled to Spain before, I wanted a special mother–daughter trip for me and my 30-year-old daughter — and wow, did Sarah deliver! From the moment we stepped off the plane in Barcelona, every detail of our itinerary unfolded seamlessly. Sarah’s planning was flawless, and her guides were absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and so much fun to be around. It truly felt like we were spending time with old friends who also happened to be experts in their fields. We wanted a mix of food, culture, history, and nature, and Sarah crafted the perfect balance of all of it. Our paella cooking class in Sevilla was a highlight — and such a treat when Sarah came to meet us in person! She also knew exactly where to send us for an unforgettable Flamenco show, complete with front-row seats. I came home with a deeper understanding of Spain’s rich, complex history and an even greater appreciation for its culture. We can’t wait to return and have Sarah plan our next adventure in Spain!

We just returned from a wonderful three week trip to Andalusia and Barcelona. Sarah and Spain Savvy were great and very easy to work with. Sarah organized an incredible trip for our family to Seville and Barcelona this Spring. She was able to cater to our diverse interests including art and history for Mom and Dad, sports for our 10 year old, and parks and playgrounds for our toddler. I can not say enough great things about Sarah and the Spain Savvy team. When I was booking my trip, I knew I did not have the time to put into creating an itinerary for our 10 day trip to Spain. My wife and I worked with Sarah and Spain Savvy to plan a recent 2-week vacation in Spain. Sarah listened to our initial list of priorities and interests and designed an itinerary that was spot on. She arranged for us to meet with extremely personable and knowledgeable guides at each location and reserved tables at the best restaurants. When a few minor glitches were encountered, Sarah was prompt in making adjustments. Overall, the best planned and supported vacation of our lives.

I don't see how our visit to Portugal and Spain could have been any better. After an initial Q&A with Sarah, our Spain Savvy travel planner, she was able to plan an activity filled trip with multiple locations that was stress free and relaxing. Top it off with perfect company, weather, food, points of interest, tour guides, and just the people and the cities themselves, it all combined to form a perfect memory. Not sure I'd recommend Fado, if you don't know the language, but it even that was a unique experience. One of the things Spain Savvy provided that I really liked was a Trip Plan App in which Sarah provided all the necessary documents and a day-by-day itinerary of not only planned events, but other options should we decide to replace or add one. The itinerary includes a brief description of the restaurants, point of interests and a website and map links for each location which made it simple to navigate. Thanks Sarah!

I can't recommend Spain Savvy enough! I am usually the travel planner for our family, but I didn't have bandwidth to handle the multi-week coordination for our family Spain trip, so we enlisted the help of Spain Savvy, and Sarah came to our rescue! From the initial consult, to the first trip proposal, to revisions, to leading up to the trip, and during the trip, Sarah was detailed, responsive, caring, and supportive to ensure the trip was smooth and matched our goals/wishes as much as possible. We also had multiple family members join our trip at different times, and Sarah was able to navigate all the changes and logistics to support everyone. We ended up having a wonderful time with our two young children and our parents, thanks to Sarah's coordination, recommendations, and support. Even if you're a seasoned traveler, I recommend Spain Savvy to do the heavy lifting with coordination and recommendations so you can focus on getting ready, getting excited, and enjoying the trip, as it's their specialty! We just returned from our visit to Vejer de la Frontera and Seville that Srah and her team at Spain Savvy fully arranged. All aspects were flawless and met or exceeded our expectations. Two standouts were our driver/guide Luis and Seville guide Manuel. Luis added much local color and history as we toured the countryside and Atlantic coast of Andalusia. He was able to accommodate changes to our itinerary as we realized that we over-scheduled activities and needed some down time. Sarah’s selection of hotels was first class and her restaurants were a good match of casual and upscale. Gracias!

Sarah was amazing to work with!! I have never been out of the country before and I was a ball of nerves, but she made the experience practically stress free for my family of 6. She thought of everything, food, experiences, sight seeing (even booked family pics to capture the moments). We really felt like we “experienced” Andalusia Spain, not just visited. I cannot praise Spain Savvy, Sarah, and her entire team enough. Rather than delve into the minutiae of my trip, I want to emphasize why working with Spain Savvy was exceptional. The first thing I want everyone to know (in case you don’t read my full review) is that during our trip to Spain, Sarah and her daughter met my entire family in Seville for lunch. I've dealt with other “travel agencies” (Spain Savvy is much more than just a travel agent) in the past, but none have ever gone to such lengths. Despite having only interacted over Zoom and email prior to this, my ENTIRE family and I hugged her like she was one of ours! I think I remarked a few times at lunch that hugging and eating lunch with our “travel agent” was new for me, but that is the unique experience Spain Savvy provides. They are far more than just a travel agent; they go out of their way to ensure your trip is special and unique. I really could go on about all the things that made this trip the best our family has ever had, but I’ll just highlight some key points: 1. Spain Savvy set us up with some of the most exceptional tour guides. Each tour guide knew what we were interested in and tailored our experience accordingly. 2. Any events/concerts/shows we saw, we always had incredible seats. 3. Whenever I needed some assistance, I WhatsApp’d Sarah and she got right back to me. 4. Whenever I didn’t need assistance Sarah would WhatsApp me making sure my trip was going well. 5. There are soooooo many restaurants in Spain and there is no way I would have found the ones that Spain Savvy picked for us. Each one was unique and delivered an authentic experience. 6. The app Spain Savvy uses for our itinerary was incredible. We literally woke up, launched the app, and followed the detailed instructions about what/when/where/how. 7. On our self-exploring days Spain Savvy had a suggested itinerary, which was perfect for parts of the cities we should explore. I could go on, but I’ll wrap it up by saying we are a family of 5 and some of us have never traveled out of the country before, so there was a lot of apprehension about how this trip would go. As stated above, this trip was the best our family has ever had and created some unique memories that each of us will cherish forever, and I can honestly say that none of it would have been possible without the help of Spain Savvy, Sarah, and her entire team!!!

We had a great experience using this company. I am a single mom traveling with young adults so we had a lot of last minute change requests. They were great about helping us make alternate plans. I am so happy I found Spain Savvy while planning our family trip to Spain. I worked with Cyra, and she was great. The itinerary was amazing, visiting cities and taking tours that I could not have planned on my own. She arranged all of our transportation within Spain, which was difficult because we had a few moving parts to work around. Cyra was very organized with that, and everything worked out perfectly. Every hotel, tour guide and restaurant was great as well. And while we were in Spain, she was available to answer any questions and handled any issues that arose very promptly. We're excited to share our experience with SpainSavvy as they/Sarah helped us design a great trip to Spain. We hadn't used a planning service on previous international trips but decided to do so on this trip due to a short timeline to plan, traveling over the holidays, and busy schedules. Sarah was able to provide exactly what we needed. While we had narrowed our trip down to spending the majority of our time in Southern Spain, we were struggling in figuring out how to allocate that time (city, countryside, cultural sights, relaxing) and meeting the needs of a family with 2 adults and 2 active boys. Sarah engaged in multiple trip iterations as we worked towards crafting an itinerary that balanced seeing the sights of southern Spain but also having down time to relax and enjoy a slower pace. We ended up with a plan that included Sevilla, Cadiz, Ronda, Granada, and Madrid (flying in/out) that struck the right balance. Besides working with us to figure out the trip as a whole, Sarah found great accommodations for our family to stay in each area, wonderful restaurant options, and day trips that highlighted unique aspects of each area that we visited. During the trip, Sarah was responsive to texts and anything that arose (which was limited due to the advanced planning that had taken place). Communication with other partners (airbnb hosts, hotels, tour guides) was seamless and the use of the app that hosted all information related to the trip was incredibly user friendly. Overall, we loved our experience with SpainSavvy! Sarah helped us craft a great trip and took away the planning burden that often accompanies, and overwhelms, a trip of this nature. We can't give a stronger endorsement than saying that we would not hesitate to work with Sarah and SpainSavvy again!

"When I first approached Spain Savvy and asked them to plan a 5 week trip in Spain and Portugal for three women in their youngish seventies, with varied interests in the arts, history, architecture, scenic beauty, food and wine; they took it on without batting an eye. Eventually a trip that included stays in eleven cities and day trips to several other cities was born. From the beginning, Cyra was easy to work with and receptive to our needs (triple beds and morning coffee). We were amazed at the final plan which included scheduled tours, suggested activities for independent exploration, travel pre- booked by train, bus and air, restaurant recommendations, reservations made as requested, all in an easy to use phone app and access to Spain Savvy when needed. We did make use of our ability to reach out to Cyra or Sarah several times during our trip. They were always helpful, friendly and receptive to changes we requested. I would also like to express my gratitude to Sarah and her exceptional team for their impeccable organization of our trip to Spain. In September 2023, my husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Madrid, Seville (including a day trip to Córdoba), Granada, and Barcelona. I must commend Sarah for selecting the finest hotels, arranging our train travel between cities, and providing knowledgeable personal tour guides for each destination. Her restaurant recommendations in each city were also outstanding. We had no complaints whatsoever. One aspect that truly impressed us was Sarah's use of a trip planning app, through which she uploaded our itinerary and provided all the necessary contact information for each city. She even contacted the restaurants on our behalf when we were running late, and consistently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Sarah truly excels in her profession, and I highly recommend her services to anyone planning a trip to Spain. I am already in the process of planning my next trip for late 2024, and I will definitely be utilizing her services once again. We visited southern Spain in November 2023 to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. I toured Spain on a European walkabout in 2009; it was my wife’s first time there. I wanted my wife to experience the delight and appreciation for the ambience and allure I experienced on my first visit to Seville. We asked Sarah to design a tour of Andalusia that included the history and architecture of Seville, Granada and Cordoba as well as the museums and monuments of metropolitan Madrid. Having never used a trip planning service before we didn’t know what to expect, but we found Sarah’s itinerary well-considered given our budget and interests. It also provided a wide variety of activities and alternatives that allowed time and opportunity for independent exploration. The cultural exposure of the itinerary she created was not something we could have planned or executed on our own. We opted for guided historic site and small group dining tours and were impressed by our guides’ professionalism, knowledge, and narrative skills. We particularly enjoyed an evening of tapas and flamenco in Seville and a market tour and cooking school that demonstrated how easy it was to replicate tastes of Andalusia in our home kitchen alongside people with similar interests. We enjoyed a wide variety of dining experiences for our daily meals, from casual to formal. We had opportunities to explore local cuisine on our own. Of particular note were tapas place on a side street in Seville and a Michelin-rated wine pairing meal in Jerez de la Frontera. All of the Spain Savvy reservations and arrangements were recognized throughout the stops along our trip. Sarah checked in over the course of our travels. Cost estimates for transportation and dining were accurate. A couple of the transportation connections/windows were tight time-wise but the travel schedules and time allowances were accurate. We had amazing moments that reminded me of my initial trip, while also delving deeper into Andalusian cuisine, architecture, and culture, resulting in memories we will treasure in the coming years! We sincerely appreciate all of Spain Savvy’s work and dedication to make this trip happen!

Summer 2023 - What an excellent two-week trip we had to Spain and Portugal. We covered a lot of ground in two weeks and had a wonderful sampling of the two countries (Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Lisbon & Porto). The accommodations, activities, and preset tours that Cyra and Sarah planned for us were excellent. We especially liked that there were restaurant recommendations throughout the trip. It was so nice having everything pre-booked and all the trip details available on the Trip Plan’s Ap. Also, Cyra and Sarah very available via WhatsAp to help with any changes during the trip.

Our latest trip arranged by Sarah and Spain Savvy was to Portugal - a conclusion to our trip cut short in 2020. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on! We saw so much of Portugal (Porto, a bit of Lisbon, the Algarve, Sintra and Beja plus a trip to Terceira in the Azores) and Spain Savvy made it so easy to do this trip on our own. I highly recommend Spain Savvy!

I was planning to take a trip with my daughter to celebrate college graduation, and we were going spend about 2 weeks in Spain as part of our adventure. We had never been and I didn't have the time to plan with just a few months ahead of our departure date, so I started "googling" when I found the Spain Savvy website. As I read through the biographies of Sarah and her team, I immediately knew this was the kind of planning experience I was looking for. I travel to Spain every summer with a group of high school students. At the end of the program, my husband, who accompanies me on these journeys, and I remain in the country and take a vacation. Our hotel was located near the historic center of the city, which was just a short walk down one of the main streets. Nevertheless, we felt like we were getting "away from it all"; ensconced in a beautiful location, surrounded by palm trees and million dollar views of a deep valley and spectacular mountain range. My husband and I got into the habit every evening of sitting out on the lovely outdoor veranda at the hotel, where we sipped cocktails and watched the sun go down. It felt as if we were back in Big Sur, CA; at Ventana or The Post Ranch Inn! The pool at the hotel was lovely and also had a stunning view of the mountains, and the spa services were wonderful! At the end of our stay, we returned to Seville and stayed our last night in Spain, at a jewel of a hotel which Sarah had arranged for us; Casa 1800, located in Barrio Santa Cruz. What a perfect way to end our summer in Spain! Sarah intuitively knew what we liked and tended to every single detail of our trip, so we did not have to worry about anything! She even checked in with us in Ronda, to make sure we were happy and that everything was going well. We are so grateful to Sarah for putting together the perfect trip for us, and highly recommend her services to anyone interested in traveling to Spain! You won't be disappointed!

We just recently returned from a wonderful trip to Spain. We were invited to a relative’s wedding near Barcelona so we figured that we would spend two weeks in Spain prior to the wedding. This has taken me way to long to post because I’m finding it hard to find the words for just how amazing Sarah and Spain Savvy is. Just got back from a three week tour of Spain. Absolutely seamless trip due Sarah's expert itinerary and detailed plans. As others have said, the App is most helpful. It contained all of our train and airplane tickets, dinner reservations, hotel vouchers, tours, etc. All of the tour guides were extremely well educated in their pertinent fields of study AND a joy to spend the day with. On top of the nice sightseeing and culinary experiences, Sarah put together two super fun bike tours that our 17-old son got an absolute kick out of! The ride in San Sebastian was a "gnarly" (as our son would say) single track adventure. And, it could have been as easy or as hard as we wanted. Our son, of course, chose the most spicy of the options. All of us came home changed for the better. We learned so so much about the culture and history but also a lot about ourselves. Our trip is a memory that we will cherish. We're eager for the next adventure and will definitely look to Sarah and Spain Savvy again!

Where do I begin! Sarah and her staff were amazing. She helped us plan a 13 day trip through Spain (Barcelona, Granada, Seville and Madrid). She helped coordinate all hotel, train, airfare, food tours, private city tours etc. She also gave us recommendations of excellent restaurants (local Tapas to nice high end). All of her tour guides were excellent, English speaking, knowledgeable and fun. One of the best tools she had was her AP. She had all of our schedules on the ap so we could look at it everyday so we knew where we were supposed to be. She was also available during our trip via text or phone. She checked in on us to make sure all was going well. It was! I was a little hesitant to hire someone via the internet but quickly I realized Sarah was a true professional. All of her guides and people enjoy working for her and it shows. Next time I plan a trip I will definitely call Sarah and Spain Savvy.

We just returned from a 12-day trip to Spain that was originally scheduled for March 2020. During the past 2 years we have worked with Sarah and her staff to coordinate the trip. My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous trip all over Spain with the help of Sarah at Spain Savvy. She put together a 3 1/2 week food and wine tour of the best parts of Spain. We started with tours of wineries in Ribera del Duero, Rioja, more wineries down the eastern side of Spain, then in wineries in Mallorca, and all the way down to Seville for the Sherry tasting. The food in Spain is great! We had amazing meals from the local spots to Michelin star restaurants. Sarah arranged for all our transfers and our guides were terrific. From our first contact with SpainSAVVY, we were impressed with their responsiveness, thoroughness and professionalism. At every step of the planning process and throughout our trip, Sarah listened to our sometimes fuzzy explanation of what we hoped to get out of the trip and anticipated what we would need to create a truly wonderful experience. We are experienced travelers and sometimes plan our own trips and sometimes use a travel agent. Several years ago, we traveled to Spain and made our own arrangements. The technology they use is very user friendly and they are there to help anytime you have a question. After completing a comprehensive survey to help establish our travel goals and wish lists, Sarah created a draft trip outline. Describing the plan as and “outline” or as a “draft” doesn’t do it justice. It was a complete itinerary that included web site links to hotels, restaurants, and major sites; estimated costs; and helpful descriptions of what we would do and see each hour of each day of our three-week trip. Using the first version as a guide, we were able to consider our options, compare the plan with our budget, and refine our wish list for the trip. We went through the process a couple of times until we settled on a final itinerary that met all our needs and still fit within our budget. From the point we said “GO”, Sarah took over and made all the arrangements: hotel reservations, train tickets, private drivers where we needed them, tours, tickets to venues, dinner reservations, and even scheduled the COVID tests we would need to return to the United States. All the details were organized for us in a wonderful app we accessed throughout the trip using our cell phones. We never had to wonder where our train tickets were or how to get to a restaurant – the app had links to our tickets and links to maps that used our GPS location to give us directions to our next stop. Sarah would update the information throughout the trip so that we always had the latest and most complete information. If we had a problem or question, Sarah was always available by phone or text to make sure everything was taken care of. SpainSAVVY made sure everything they had booked was paid for when we arrived. My husband and I normally arrange everything ourselves and this was our first experience with a travel planner. Sarah was awesome and now I'm spoiled. I can't recommend Sarah enough. We were a party of eight with four kids between 3 and 11, FYI. Two of the most amazing things about using Sarah is that 1) she arranged childcare so the adults could experience some of the late night dinners without the kids (the kids loved the sitter, BTW), and 2) having reservations at amazing restaurants really made every dining experience enjoyable! Also, we didn't have to wait in long lines to buy tickets, as ours were already purchased. In starting a five-week trip traveling through Spain as a family of five (with three kids under age 7), I realized I needed support and ideas from an expert! Although initially I was doing all the research and planning myself, it was taking up way too much of my time and sanity to try to do all the research and set up the lodging on my own. My friend and I went to Spain and our trip planning occurred just over a month before departure. We planned some things to see in Barcelona on our own and we were also treated to some amazing sights by my friend's colleagues in Barcelona. But once we left Barcelona, we decided we wanted to travel to the Basque region to visit the Rioja Wine Country, Guggenheim in Bilbao and San Sebastian. Neither of us had been before nor did we have time to do the necessary research and booking. I researched who might be able to help us and Sarah with SpainSavvy is who we decided on. Sarah's reviews helped us make that decision and she came through for us by helping us create a great itinerary! The trip went fabulously, barring a few minor hiccups - but hey, when you travel those situations happen! Sarah quickly addressed the minor issues quickly. Just a few suggestions that did not impact my rating but is food for thought as you plan: 1) Really think about what your days will look like - we had high hopes of going out to lunches and dinners to experience high quality meals. We made some but didn't make all the reservations that Sarah made for us. We let Sarah know our cancellations in advance, but we were probably a bit over zealous in what we thought we would do in an day. She will book anything for you, but please be cognizant of cancellation times; 2) I would recommend catching an Uber that takes a credit card upon arrival versus setting up private transportation. Our experience dictates my comment. Always select the currency for the country you are in, not where you live when you make transactions; 3) Consider train travel times when you decide on how long you stay in one location. Sarah gave us some good insight but I don't think we factored all the moving around in our overall itinerary. Don't get me wrong.....we did and saw what we wanted to see, but it was a busy schedule! Overall, I was very happy with the itinerary she developed per our desires of what we wanted to experience. She connected us with fabulous, top notch tours that I truly enjoyed and Sarah is very responsive! So if you are planning a trip to Spain, Portugal or Morocco, talk to Sarah and have her plan a trip that meets your expectations in every way!

My wife and I were recently in Madrid on business and sought out Sarah online to assist with extending our trip once the business was completed. Sarah did a superb job customizing our trip to our interests and budget. I was a co-organizer for a group of 19 friends who converged in Barcelona for a 10 vacation in-town and in La Rioja wine country holiday. Over the ~8 month lead time up to the trip, Sarah was super responsive via email and WhatsApp. She handled the logistics beautifully and was super flexible. Then, once we were in Spain, she and her team adapted wonderfully to the social unrest which followed the sentencing of the separatists. They made a great decision to have all 11 of us leave Barcelona one day early for, without that decision, we would not have been able to travel to Lagroño. Spain Savvy enriched my husband’s and my travel by ensuring guides around the cities and countryside were knowledgable and pleasant. I worked with Sarah and her team from Spain Savvy for nearly a year on a trip to Spain for our large group (16) of friends and family. Her communication was always on point and as you can imagine, creating a personalized experience for that many people could have a great deal of diversity. Our’s did and Spain Savvy handled it. We arrived in Barcelona the weekend just before the Monday announcement of the Catalan separatists prison sentences. As most know, the demonstrations got violent and extremely intense. We were all staying in a house in Barcelona city center and Sarah and her team strategized and made a plan to get us out of Barcelona a day early so our party could go to Rioja without getting stuck in Barca. Imagine doing that for a large group? Well, they did it. She got us to Castelldefels into a nice hotel that took all of us. This location was just outside the chaos and allowed us to head out the next morning to Rioja. They made this happen within just a few hours. They saved our trip essentially. I am retuning to Spain soon with just my wife and I and I will absolutely be in contact with Spain Savvy for that trip! The tours and guides were really excellent! Everything from casual tapas tours to super unique winery tours. They covered it. On more than one occasion I could see that people were watching us with envy as we lunched or snuck off into a place that they couldn’t get access to. Lastly, Spain Savvy is up on technology, their app with our personalized itineraries made no need for papers and folders and all of that stuff. It was super easy. Bottom line, extremely cool and all pro!!

I was working with another luxury travel agent on a last minute first-time trip to Spain with my husband and 3 grown children and the trip planning process was not going well. Using Spain Savvy took the headache out of trying to perfectly plan our first overseas trip as a family. The business is so well organized and communication was always exceptional! Our trip was so much more enjoyable with the help of Spain Savvy! I would highly recommend their services to all!

After researching exhaustively on-line and despairing in my efforts to arrange a first trip to Spain, I thought there must be someone who excels at this. I found Sarah Gamba and Spain Savvy, and was outrageously happy with everything she planned. We started with a questionnaire about where I was going to go in Spain - Madrid and Barcelona as my first entry into Spain - and Sarah asked me what I wanted to do in each city. I gave her my dream wish list of things to do, and amazingly, with a week total, 3.5 days in each city, she literally checked every item on my list. In Madrid, there were tours of the Prado, and a night of tapas, flamenco dancing, and a special detour to see the flamenco guitars being made, plus gardens, open food markets, the royal palace, the first restaurant in the world featuring suckling pig, vermouth bars, and exposure to the most wonderful, civilized culture and history. Then after a short flight to Barcelona, I was treated to a private half-day tour of all the Gaudi sites, and access to another Gaudi house in the afternoon, plus the Picasso museum, spots for the best gazpacho in the world, the Frank Gehry sail, and once again, incredible food and drink and wonderful people and adventures. My itinerary was clear and well-planned, with regular breaks and free time scattered amongst the planned events, and and all the hotels and passes and arrangements so I had no queues or anything to worry about. I loved it all, and when I found that Spain Savvy also specializes in Portugal and Morocco as well as Spain, I immediately started thinking of my next trip with them. Good day, We have used the services of SPAINSAVVY and Sarah Gemba the Managing Director. In short this was an amazing way to easily plan a proffessional week vacation personally tailored to the clients desires. Sarah provided suggestions in her first proposal drawn up from our initial conrespondance of what we wanted to experience out of our trip to Seville. This first proposal was then modified two more times to better fit our week plans which resulted in a oustanding touring and eating experience. My family and I had a trip of a lifetime through Spain because of Sarah. My husband and I decided to brave our first international trip with our two kids (ages 5 and 10) and looked to Sarah to help us create a trip that would match our hopes and vision. She exceeded all of our expectations. She planned experiences my kids still talk about a month later. Some highlights: 4 hour food tour in Barcelona that my 10 year old said was one of the best parts of the whole trip, a photographer to capture some sweet moments in Granada, a sailing trip on the Mediterranean Sea on the day of our daughter's 6th birthday, AND her's and our families met up for coffee and had a delightful time getting to know each other in Sevilla. The BEST!! My wife and I found Spain Savvy when a link was forwarded by a friend who had never used their services. We didn't know them and didn't know anyone who had used them. I liked what I saw but was wary about adding the few extra dollars to what was already shaping up to be an expensive trip. The sample itineraries we looked at were amazing but not exactly what we were personally looking for. They did however illustrate potential to provide the help to us that we desperately needed. We knew friends who had visited Spain before and offered all kinds of advice which we appreciated but translating all that well intentioned advice to a day to day location and activities itinerary was proving to be very daunting to say the least. We had already spent countless hours mulling over all kinds of web sites, making notes, and trying to organize our thoughts and interests into a final plan. We were trying to organize the trip of a lifetime and it was turning out to be an hours long daily after work frustrating project. Once we saw some of the samples put together by Spain Savvy we stopped. We made contact and from that point forward it was so much simpler and far less stressful. Knowing we had someone who knew the ground locations of everywhere and everything that was being suggested made it so much more exciting and less of a scavenger hunt. Too many choices (and for us that was the case) can be bad. Despite all this I was very apprehensive about handing over the keys to someone else to plan our trip. It turned out to be the thing that made it great. After we finalized the plan Spain Savvy made all the reservations and put everything into one simple app we could use for everything. All dates, times, vouchers for all the pre-paid reservations etc., were all in one place. Genius. Especially if you are a first time USA traveler to Spain, or even if you are an experienced Spain explorer from any starting point, I would whole hardheartedly recommend their services. Our family trip to Spain was wonderful. Thanks to Sarah, our itinerary was planned so well, it took the stress and time out of planning daily events, and allowed us to relax and enjoy every minute. Everything she recommended was worth it, only wish we had time to do more. The "My Trip" App worked like a charm. At our finger tips when needed, with times, tickets, recommendations.... It was flawless . Not to mention how attentive Sarah was at any moment. She responded immediately in the planning stages and during the trip, which made everything move smoothly. We booked with Sarah and Spain Savvy for our 13 night trip in Spain and Portugal. From the beginning, Sarah was engaged, responsive, helpful, and working with all of our requests. Our itinerary was very complicated and involved staying and traveling from Madrid, Seville, Granada, Ronda (and other small town day-trips) and to the south Portuguese coast. We had to use trains, buses, and a car rental in our travels. Sarah also booked cooking classes, private guides, etc during our trip Trough it all, Sarah completed all the bookings and stayed within our budget. The hotels were all first rate and there were no hiccups at all! During our trip, Sarah texted with us and even met us for coffee for a brief check-in for coffee in Seville. I feel we received excellent value for what we paid and the app provided during our trip was invaluable. My friend and I spent 5 days in Barcelona, end of May, beginning of June. Thanks to Sarah of SpainSavvy we had a fantastic time. We told her the sights we wanted to see and she made up a detailed itinerary with the tickets attached and information on all the venues.Sarah booked us a great hotel, Gallery Hotel, in our preferred area. Since I was arriving at 7 AM, Sarah suggested we book an extra day which was money well spent.She also arranged transportation form the airport to the hotel. Sarah let us know she was available incase we had any questions. I would certainly use SpainSavvy again for my next trip to Spain and highly recommend her to anyone planning to visit Spain.

We can't sing the praises of Sarah and SpainSavvy enough! We will never forget the wonderful itinerary Sarah put together for us on our trip to Spain! (Madrid and then mostly in Sevilla in time for the Feria). She was so accommodating and patient. We went through about 3 itinerary versions and she was so helpful in making suggestions on places of interest to us. All the logistics she arranged for us came off without a hitch! Our tour guides were great and very knowledgeable as we made day trips to Jerez, Cordoba and Donana National Park. Sarah's expertise on the culture of Andalusia is superlative and in our activities, we felt like we were truly experiencing the culture of Andalusia. She seems to know everybody! And we so appreciated her communication -- she kept in touch frequently and wanted to make sure all was well. She just did not arrange our trip and then forget about us! Far from it! If I could give her 10 stars, I would. When we travel back to Spain, she will be the first person we contact.

We just got back from an amazing trip to Madrid and Barcelona.Our daughter is studying abroad in Barcelona for the semester and our other daughter joined us on the trip to visit her sister. From the beginning, Sarah was very professional, listened to what we wanted from our trip and even picked perfect restaurants for lunch and dinner, because 2 of us are Gluten Free. Sarah is super organized and her follow up is great. She also contacted us while in Spain, confirming tours, restaurants etc... We also needed to change the time of a restaurants reservation and contacted Sarah while in Spain and she got back to us right away and changed our reservation time. We will definitely use her again when our son goes abroad next year.

Spain Savvy is the best! My boyfriend and I wanted to do an affordable but awesome European vacation and landed on going to Spain. We were on the fence about using a travel agent at all, but a friend referred us to Sarah, and promised us our trip wouldn't be as good if we didn't work with her. The trip went so smoothly, and not worrying about the logistics let us truly relax and take in the sights and the culture.
