Edit: In their reply to this review, they have tried to pretend this is for a different company. It is not. It is for this the company owned by Edutravel and staffed by Miguel as per their emails to us. They are trying to pretend this didn’t happen. It did. Beware. Original review below: SHOCKINGLY BAD. I went on a private tour to Italica today in Seville and I was extremely disappointed with it, but the service from the company was even worse. Please read. Our tour guide, Maria, really was not up to scratch. When we arrived she was friendly but within about 3-4 minutes I could already tell she was there just to show up and leave. She offered minimal information and didn't know the answer to basic questions like "how big Is Italica?" . She was also ill - coughing all the time - which is not great during Covid! She missed out key details to get through the tour quicker, e.g. I asked if a mosaic was Medusa and she said "yes, you're right. That is one of the most important mosaics". She hadn't mentioned it at all. Overall she just didn't build any rapport with us at all. Between sections of Italica she just walked in silence until I asked a question. Then she would give a very basic answer. The tour was so rushed that the entire "2 hour tour" lasted 55 minutes. At the end there was an exhibition with a film about the sight and some explanations. She just left us there and said goodbye. This would really have enhanced the visit. When I messaged the company to tell them about my experience (I didn't ask for a refund or any compensation), someone called Miguel replied saying that he "was at Italica that day", and that he "verifies the tour lasted more than 1 hour 30 minutes". Which is curious as I have an Uber receipt that shows that I was on my way back to Seville only 1h3m after arriving. I was in Seville centre 1h20m after starting so the tour did not "last more than 1 hour 30 minutes" nor was it the 2 hours promised. He straight up lied but little did he know I have a log of the journey. I wanted to contact the company privately before posting as I know how important feedback is (I own a private tour company). This was an opportunity to acknowledge what happened. Instead Miguel lied about how long the tour lasted. Then, he went on to say I was "enter[ing into contempt from the work of the mates" and that I should "avoid interrupting during the explanations". The only thing I interrupted was the silence of the guide who was saying almost nothing! I was only trying to give the company feedback and this is how they respond. Can you ever imagine a company being this rude? Absolutely shocking customer service. I paid a premium for a private tour and this was the worst I've ever had. We did 5 tours in our time in Andalusia and this one was shocking. I absolutely CANNOT recommend this company - please do not spend your hard-earned money with them. It is shocking that companies like this are in business. Please beware. Finally, I don't believe the guide was licensed. A licensed guide would NEVER act this way. What a contrast to our amazing licensed guides throughout Spain.

If your hesitating to book with this company,just do it. You won’t regret it. They helped me with having one of the best days on vacation. I took a day trip with my husband from Seville and visited Ronda and the white villages. Truly amazing and do yourself a favor and ask for David to be your guide. He was awesome and will make sure the tour is a once in a lifetime experience.

My husband and I just returned from The White Villages from Seville Tour and what a wonderful day it was! I was torn between Los Arcos de Frontera and Ronda because I really wanted to see both (and none of the tour guides offer this). Our guide David really went the extra mile for us! His extremely flexible and professional manner allowed us to see Los Arcos de Frontera and Ronda in one day, plus several white villages, & other special things unique to the area (like trees made from cork). It was just like having a food tour, too! It made the tour so much fun, since it was like having a food tour, too. As a bonus, he gave us wonderful suggestions for restaurants in Seville and Granada. After 10+ hours we are not tired, but yet dying to do another tour. Thanks, David, for making the tour so personalized for us. It is going to be the highlight of our trip!

I’ve travelled to Sevilla a few times and not being a fan of tours I never thought of doing one, but a few friends had toured with David before and enjoyed the tour so much that I decided to do the night tour. I had so much fun that I booked a tour for every day after. You MUST DO the Sevilla rooftop tour. It’s an insider’s tour of the city for those who want to see the city from a different perspective. The tapas tour was unreal (I’m a big foodie and the food there was incredible). The great thing about David is that he’s there when you need him but allows you all the space you need to really take in the sights at your own pace. I would highly recommend David and this tour company to anyone traveling to Spain. Can’t wait to go back!

We arrived for our tour and the office made a mistake about the number of people and we were not able to go in as there were too many people in the group. The guide agreed to meet us at 10am the following day and did not turn up. This ruined our trip as we spent two separate occasions waiting for them. A really poor company who were not honest about their mistakes and really bad admin. The booking was under Hannah Witcomb and I have checked this is the correct company.

Hola, El día 20 de octubre realicé junto con mi mujer un recorrido en bici hasta la ciudad de Itálica. La actividad estuvo perfectamente dirigida por el guía y la empresa nos facilitó unas buenas bicis para realizarla. Excelente el trato y la preparación del Guía. Os recomiendo la actividad Gracias y saludos. Tomás Gómez
