Jaime is an outstanding multilingual guide who clearly loves & deeply understands Tenerife & the diversity of landscapes & people. We appreciate the sustainability of his tour. He is a real pleasure to talk to & we wish we could have spent more than one day with him. He has well thought out tours, & also listened to what was important to us to see & do (thanks for my first Tenerife Blue Chiffchaff sighting!) We had our first Barraquito at a wonderful local spot, toured a winery with a meal to follow, & went to the top of the volcano & back to the coast all in one day. Jaime was able to scientifically discuss the nature of the island & the volcano in a really enriching way. He even had a fantastic dinner recommendation to follow. Absolutely recommend

We had the experience of a lifetime on our private tour of Tenerife with Jamie Munoz. We were 4 adults who were in the island for the first time and wanted to explore its natural beauty and culture. He took us to incredible sights in his electric Mercedes van and described the history, geography and geology of the place. His passion and knowledge made it so interesting and his sense of humor made it fun. We also enjoyed eating traditional foods and he even treated us to a delicious barraquito. You will have to go with him to learn what that is!

Jaime is the guy your looking for when you need a guide in Tenerife. Every moment during the trip was comfortable, with nice conversations combined with peace. The E-van he used to pick me up was absolutely clean and relaxing. And if you are considering climbing up to the summit of mountain Teide, Jaime can help you with the registration of the permission. Highly recommend visiting Tenerife with the expertise of Jaime. He is a local tour guide with Feel Tenerife who not only believes in preserving nature but practices it. We had an amazing day in his company as he showed us the valleys of Anaga, hit the market at La Laguna , brunch at El Sauzal with breathtaking views of Mt. Tiede and then shopping at Puerta de la Cruz. He planned the itinerary according to our needs . He even stopped to get local wine for us. We cannot wait to come back . We strongly believe that working with the local tour guides is the very best because they are extremely knowledgeable and they give personalized attention. It is money well spent.

1 / 1 Feel Tenerife…we felt Tenerife as well as tapped into all our other senses on this remarkable 2-day tour. The tour was pleasing to our sense of smell with the aromas of the nature around us, the food prepared for us, the wine we tasted and the markets we shopped. Our sense of taste was delighted with the amazing food and wine that we were able to sample during our visits. Our sense of sight was rewarded with the beautiful scenery in every direction we looked and postcard worthy photos at every turn. Our sense of hearing was accomplished with the sounds of nature and eagles flying over our heads. Our sense of touch was felt in the rocks we handled, the hugs we received, the handshakes from friends along the way, but we felt Tenerife fully with the feelings of friendships we made along our travels with Jamie. We felt the love Jamie has for his island and for the clients he leads on his tours. You can tell this is not a job for Jamie as much as it is a passion. We were greeted on our first day in an immaculately clean, quiet comfortable vehicle. It was stocked with water and additional jackets that were supplied if needed. We quickly knew Jamie loved feeding our taste for knowledge about Tenerife. He is extremely knowledgeable about the culture and life on the island since he has lived there his whole life, and has a degree in tourism as well. There wasn’t a question we asked that he didn’t have the answers to. Conversation with Jamie was effortless from the moment we met. He was knowledgeable about the wine we tasted at the Bodega La Haya winery as well. Vicky, a very friendly, special lady was our guide at the winery and she prepared a wonderful wine tasting and tapas to go along with the 3 different wines we tasted. We felt like we were sitting down to drink wine with our family at the dinner table. The food was perfectly delicious and consisted of local specialties that were unlike any we had eaten at the restaurants we had visited. Jamie knew all the local places to visit and that is what we prefer. We like to hit a few of the more touristy areas, but love local out of the way places mixed in. Along with the winery we also visited an amazing local restaurant where they served a lunch fit for royalty, a café where we sampled a local barraquito coffee, AMAZING! We also visited Mount Tiede, the Drago de Icod de los Vinos, a live Dragon Tree that is believed to be close to a thousand years old, farmers markets, churches and monasteries where Jamie pointed out little hidden treasures along the way. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Jamie the next time we are in Tenerife as there is so much left to discover about this beautiful island. I typically only book private tours as I think it's the best way to understand the place you are visiting and find it well worth the extra money it might cost over a group tour. This year I have been on over 15 private tours throughout Spain and Portugal. This is easily one of the best private tours I've ever been on. Jaime is very knowledgeable, fun and kind. We would 100% book another tour with him!

My wife and I spent four fantastic days with Jaime, touring Tenerife for three, and La Gomera for one. He provided wonderful insight into what each island is about, as well as a variety of experiences that satisfied our desire to explore. From walking tours of several north coast towns on Tenerife, to a vineyard visit, to hiking a volcano and a Laurel forest, to star-gazing near El Teide, to special meals in out-of-the-way local restaurants, we are grateful for the chance we had to truly feel Tenerife - and La Gomera. Jaime rounded out our experience with the vast amount of information he shared about the origins, culture and life on the Canary Islands, which helped pass the driving time effortlessly - in his very comfortable vehicle. Jaime took care of everything, from arranging all of the details to supplying water and extra special treats. Perhaps most importantly, Jaime was a gracious and thoughtful host - we truly enjoyed our time with him. Overall, we had a great experience - we recommend FeelTenerife very highly!

Jaime was an incredible guide. Not only was he so knowledgeable, but he was friendly, kind, and helped us with every recommendation for our stay in the Canary Islands. He also is so professional. Spending multiple days with him as our guide gave us a chance to really learn about the island and we wouldn’t have had such a memorable experience if we had not met Jaime.

We requested a tour with a few photographic opportunities and focused on Tenerife wine with return to our cruise ship comfortably before sail away. Jaime delivered 100%. With a couple a great vistas along the way, we were able to visit both a large wine producer (El Lomo) and a smaller, family winery (La Haya). Jaime is very up-to-date on wine making and taught us so much about this unique region. We had plenty of time at each winery to sample. At La Haya, Vicky, the owner, treated us to some local foods to enjoy along with our wine. The memories of this perfect day fill our hearts with warm joy as we feel like we visited dear friends.

We made a family day trip to La Gomera. As usual very good organized. A lot of time to appreciate the lovely nature and the local food was amazing. Jaime was, as usual, a very good guide.

Another awesome day with Jaime...it is definitely the best way to see Tenerife. He is not only a lovely human, but takes time to show you the natural beauty of the island as well as all the little secrets of the past. From the moment that I communicated with Jaime from Feel Tenerife the type of tour we wanted he was quickly able to come up with something really amazing. We requested a wine and gastronomic multicourse tasting experience. Jaime took us to a really nice small winery away from the crowds where we were provided with multiple wines to taste along with tapas. We also went to the Museo de Vino, where we were given a lot of information by Jaime regarding the history of wine making. Lastly, We went to a fabulous restaurant for a multi-course tasting menu (with wine) in Garachico. The day was very special and memorable, and was one of the highlights of our visit to Tenerife. I would not hesitate again to book a tour with Jaime because he is truly outstanding.

I cannot speak highly enough of Jaime and Feel Tenerife tours! This was our second tour with Jaime, and again he exceeded expectations in every way. This time, my wife and I brought along our best friends for a tour of the Teide National Park from our too-short cruise port-stop at Santa Cruz de Tenerife. As before, Jaime responded to all of my pre-cruise emails promptly and warmly. With the excellent information Jaime provided, including annotated port-area maps, we were able to meet him at his waiting, super-comfortable, super-quiet, fully-electric Mercedes van and be off on our tour within minutes of our ship’s arrival. Jaime is a certified guide, with many years of university training in the fascinating culture and nature of Tenerife. He freely and engagingly shared with us his immense knowledge of the history and ecology of Tenerife and his deep personal commitment to the environment. While both my wife and I have toured volcanic areas in North and South America, Hawaii, Southern Europe and more , we have never, ever, have experienced in one place the variety and scope of volcanic action and features present around El Teide. Jaime’s intriguing, in-depth explanations brought all of these to life, often exposing fascinating details right in front of us that we’d have missed without his direction. As a bonus, we were treated to Tenerife’s signature drink, the Barraquito, a luscious coffee and local-liquor concoction enjoyed daily on Tenerife as a convivial morning and afternoon reset. Jaime offers many more itineraries beyond our abbreviated if enthralling tour customized to match our short port-stop time. We are certain to return for more experiences with Jaime and Feel Tenerife. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Wir sind das zweite Mal jetzt auf Teneriffa gewesen und mit den Erfahrungen vom letzten Urlaub dort ein paar Änderungen vorgenommen. Der wichtigste Punkt war für uns möglichst keine Gruppen-Touren mehr gebucht über Sammelanbieter oder im Hotel und auch möglichst viel auf eigene Faust erkunden. Auf der Suche nach einer schönen „privaten“ Tour sind wir über die APP „GetYourGuide“ mit einem sehr gut aufgebauten Suchfilter auf Feel Tenerife gestoßen. Die Beschreibung der Tour und auch die sehr guten Bewertungen haben uns dann überzeugt. Nach der ebenso sehr einfachen Buchung über das Portal via APP habe ich auch direkt eine Mitteilung erhalten und Informationen wie es weiter geht. Auch der CIO Jaime hat sich mit einer Nachricht über Whats App gemeldet mit Begrüßung und Infos zur Tour und noch einmal die Abstimmung der Abholzeit und Ort (direkt vom Hotel). Die Tour habe ich nur für meine Frau und mich gebucht und so einen ganz privaten, intensiven und wunderschönen Tag mit dem bis jetzt besten Tour Guide erlebt! Jaime hat sich direkt nach der Abholung erst mal erkundigt, was wir denn gerne aus dem Tag machen wollen. Einige wollen einen durchgeplanten Tour Tag haben und andere eben alles recht spontan je nach Wetter und Laune… Wir gehören zur zweiten Gruppe und haben gleich signalisiert, dass wir Jaime völlig freie Hand lassen und alles nach Wetter, Stimmung und vor allen Dingen nach überfüllten Hot-Spots, wo die großen Bustouren sind, vorbeigefahren wird. Lieber kleine Ecken, wo nicht jede Reisegruppe anhält. Damit hatten wir wohl auch Jaime eine Freude gemacht, denn mit großem Lächeln ging die spontane und fast ungeplante Tour los. Sicher eine grobe Route, denn es ging ja im den Teide Nationalpark und um den Teno-Park, aber die Stopps zum halten immer sehr spontan ausgesucht. Jaime hat so viel von der Geschichte Teneriffas erklärt und auch zu den unglaublich vielen verschiedenen Vulkanstrukturen und Gesteinen, dass wir von der Insel jetzt noch mehr überzeugt sind als vorher schon. Ein 800 Jahre alter Baum und ein Zwischenstopp mit Mini Schneeball Schlacht, denn 1 Tag vorher lag auf über 3000m noch Schnee. Unten mit 24 Grad losgefahren und oben mit Schnee beworfen. :D Für die Mittagszeit fragte Jaime noch, ob wir an so einem Rastpunkt anhalten wollen zum Essen. Mit Blick auf die Tour Busse und Menschenmassen schüttelten wir den Kopf und fragten, ob wir nicht in einem kleinen Dorf irgendwo auf kleine Tapas einkehren können. Und dann sind wir in einem schnuckeligen Ort „Vilaflor“ in der Bar los Cazadores gewesen und gab einfach nur tolle Tapas und einen regionalen Wein. Keine Speisekarte! Nur eine Tafel mit den Tagesgerichten von der Wirtin selbst zubereitet. Einfach lecker und total freundlich! Zum Nachtisch gab es dann beim nächsten Halt selbst geerntete und geknackte Mandeln vom Baum. Die ruhige und sehr komfortable Fahrt mit dem E-Mercedes VAN war zum privaten Erlebnis noch die Sahne auf der Erlebnis Haube. Was wir aber noch als Hinweis geben können. Schaut mal direkt auf die Seite von Jaime. Da sind noch so viele Touren mehr drauf, die man nicht über GetYourGuide findet… Und auch die direkte Buchung ist da eben schon billiger (verständlicherweise). Da Jaime super Deutsch spricht, würde ich z.B. beim nächsten Mal direkt anrufen und mit Ihm eine tolle Tour aussuchen. Das werden wir auf jeden Fall machen! Danke für den tollen Tag! We did the Secrets of the Volcanoes tour with Jaime and it was one of the best tours we had during our stay in Tenerife! It was different from tours done by other companies for several reasons. Firstly, it was interactive. We had plenty of stops in various places where we could observe and touch various lava/lava ash formations, went to a lava tube and saw a lava arch! Secondly, Jaime is a super friendly, positive, honest, open, and interesting person to communicate with, who has a TON of knowledge about volcanoes, the island and Canary Islands overall. We learnt so much about volcanoes, magma, different lava types, how volcanic islands are formed and how Tenerife itself has been formed! In addition to this, he would answer all additional questions we had about the island and tell even more interesting facts in general! Thirdly, though we had a lot of activities, the tour was relaxing without any rush so we could enjoy the view. It also included some hiking to further appreciate and find out about volcanoes even more! This is important to mention because other tour guides usually drive you to a place, tell to see this, this and that, and leave you alone to find them which is overwhelming.. Finally, we had an opportunity to enjoy some traditional food like a barraquito and an almond cookie as well as had a free time for lunch in El Médano, a small fishing village where one can find a lot of various places serving really tasty fresh seafood for a good price. The food was not included in the tour price, but I really enjoyed this fact because we had a freedom to choose what we wanted to have ourselves as tours guided by other companies including food offer meals that are almost always of a very low quality. I am glad we had this tour and found out about Feel Tenerife because these tours really make you FEEL and fall in love with this beautiful island! We had a lot of tours and have seen almost all the island already but I am looking forward to come back next year and have at least one more tour with Jaime to discover even more secrets! :)

We arrived Santa Cruz on a cruise ship in April. We were in port 2 days so luckily we were able to see quite a bit of the island with Feel Tenerife. Jaime adjusted his tours to meet our time constraints. He is so knowledgable, passionate and personable! Oh, and he is a great driver!! We did the Anaga Tour....gorgeous area! Jaime introduced us to a Barraquito that day. We also had an amazing meal in La Laguna with many traditional food items. Next day we did the North Tour. It was Easter Sunday and in the villages visited we were able to see the church processions. We again included the "Gastronomic Experience" and again we were not disappointed! Two days gave us a taste of Tenerife and we would love to come back! Thank you Jaime for showing us the island you are so passionately love.

Hemos contratado un tour privado para conocer el Parque Nacional del Teide y el Parque Rural de Teno. Una experiencia increíble. Jaime, nuestro guía y fundador de Feel Tenerife es un apasionado de su trabajo, con él hemos aprendido multitud de cosas interesantes sobre la isla, información que visitando El Teide solos no habríamos sabido. Nos ha llevado a rincones con encanto, poco masificados, con vistas espectaculares. El coche va perfectamente equipado, cómodo tiene hasta agua a disposición de los clientes. Nos recomendó y nos llevó a un lugar a comer con cocina casera de verdad. Estuvimos haciendo el tour unas 7 horas, muy amenas, se pasaron enseguida. Jaime es además una persona muy cercana, con la que se puede hablar. Sin duda, cuando volvamos a Tenerife o venga algún conocido, lo recomendaremos.
