Amazing trip, good snacks and wine!

Découverte de la réserve de cétacés en petit groupe. Le capitaine a été très sympathique et nous a fait découvrir un banc de globicéphales au large, avec des explications sur leur mode de vie. Nous sommes restés quelques minutes pour ne pas les déranger trop longtemps. Nous sommes partis avec 3 enfants en bas âge (3 et 5 ans) en toute sécurité. La sortie s’est conclue par une baignade dans une crique, des en-cas salés et sucrés ont été servis. Un moment de pur bonheur !

Superbe croisière avec Patrick notre capitaine ! Nous étions 5 copines et avons eu le bateau que pour nous, c’était trop cool ! Patrick nous a donné pleins d’explications et nous a servi un brunch :) Je recommande fortement 👍🏼

Great trip today. Saw some whales and went to a really nice bay down the coast. Patrick was a really good guide would highly recommend!

Fantastic 3hr trip out to see a pod of pilot whales, which approached to within only a few metres of the edge. The skipper was friendly and knowledgeable and took good care of us. It was only our family and one other group so felt very private. Would recommend taking travel sickness pills if you are prone to seasickness - the boat is small and sways quite a lot with the waves!

Great private boat trip for up to 6 people. We booked the private tour late at night and had a great 3 hour tour the very next day morning. Saw both dolphins and whales. We were kindly offered a snack and drinks. Strictly recommended!

Csodás élmény volt ez a privát hajózás Patrick kapitánnyal. Egyedi humorával, profizmusával feldobta a napunkat! Delfineket ugyan nem láttunk, de cuki kék halak között úszhattunk ez egyik öbölben. Köszönjük az élményt!

We had the best time as a multi generational family of 6 on Patrick's boat trip, seeing the Pilot whales, snorkeling and hearing about the local area. We especially chose to go on this trip on a small boat to enjoy the experience properly (not having blocked views by other passengers) and it was definitely the best way to explore the region by sea! Patrick was very friendly and informative and catered for us very well. Trip was very good value for money. Cannot recommend enough! Xx

Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Ausflug. Der Kapitän weiß genau, wo die Wale zu finden sind. Wer es mag abseits des Massentourismus unterwegs zu sein, ist hier genau richtig.

It was the nicest boat trip I had. The capitain was woderfull. We saw whales and even a turtle. It was quite the private trip, we were us and one more guy. We had some beers, snacks and sandwiches.

We accidently were started to an excursion on Galeta for whale and dolphin watching in Los Christianos. The next day we met Captain Patrick and he settled us on the boat.the trip was very choppy, as the ocean didn't cooperate. The Capitan did everything possible to find the whales and we got a glimpse of them amongst the waves. We also were able to get some swimming done before ending the trip. Overall it was fun and I highly recommend Captain Patrick and his boat.

Spät aber doch komme ich dazu, eine Bewertung zu schreiben. Wir waren letzten März, am 21.03.2023 mit Galatea Sailing unterwegs und es war wunderbar. Wir hatten das Glück nur zu 4. zu sein, ein anderes Pärchen und wir. Patrick, unser Kapitän war von Anfang an sehr freundlich und lustig. Wir haben es geschafft sowohl Delfine als auch Wale zu sehen. Patrick wusste genau, wo sie häufig sind und hat dann respektvollen Abstand zu den Tieren gehalten. Die Tiere sind von sich aus sehr nahe beim Boot vorbei geschwommen, so konnten wir die Tiere wirklich sehr gut sehen. Wir wurden zuerst mit Snacks und Getränken versorgt und dann beim heimfahren noch mit Sandwiches, Chips und Getränken. Nach dem Whale Watching ging es auch noch in eine entlegene Bucht, wo wir schnorcheln konnten und schwimmen. Leider war es an dem Tag etwas kalt und das Meer auch, dennoch habe ich es gewagt und es war wirklich schon. Ich kann Galatea Sailing wirklich empfehlen, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit Walen, Delfnen, Snacks, Getränken, Schnorcheln, guter Musik und einem lustigen Kapitän.

At the beginning we were picked up from the port by the captain(Patrick)who greeted us and introduced his self. As we got on the boat we got to put all our stuff downstairs which was great as there were 8 of us. Patrick told the younger kids there is not always aguarantee we could see any wild life but assured them they would still have a good time, however within 30 minutes we spotted a pod of pilot whales which made everyone happy. The captain explained the differences between them which was really interesting. He stopped the engine and let us sit and look at them for as long as we wanted. He then took us to this cove/beach which had beautiful water that was so blue and so much fish, he gave us snorkels and then proceeded to throw fish food in to attract them we could get up close and personal with the fish. After that we came back on the boat to a lovely platter of Sandwiches and snacks. Throughout the journey we were also offered refreshments such as fizzy juice, water and alcohol. would 1000% recommend this boat trip to anyone who wants a very personal and memorable experience as Patrick went above and beyond for my family and made sure we all enjoyed our day out at sed made the most of the 3 hours. Will definitely return.

Patrick is a fantastic host and experienced skipper. We had the pleasure of seeing loads of dolphins, followed by a swim in a nice cove with sandwiches, snacks and drinks afterwards.

We had a great day seeing pilot whales and just enjoying being on the water. Our captain was very nice and interesting to talk to. I chose this tour because I didn’t want to be crowded on a boat with a large group of people. We did end up being the only guests and it was fantastic. I would give 5 stars, but was disappointed that the sails on the boat do not work and it is obvious by looking at them that they haven’t been up in a long time.

Hemos ido 6 amigos desde Barcelona y la experiencia con Patrick como patrón de barco ha sido increíble. No podemos estar más felices. Pudimos ver delfines, ballenas y hasta una tortuga! Patrick nos preparó unos bocadillos y pica pica muy ricos de los que disfrutamos después de un baño. En todo momento ha sido amable y atento. En septiembre repetiremos con el seguro al 100% Super recomendable

Wow, what an experience this was! We were guided by skipper Xabi who sailed us out to sea, where we eventually spotted a group of pilot whales. This was very impressive and beautiful to see. We then sailed on to a bay for snorkelling and saw a sea turtle along the way. In all this, Xabi gave us a lot of interesting information and gave us some great tips for the rest of our holiday. The fact that you are in a small group makes it very personal and special. Really a top activity that we would recommend to anyone!

Hoy hemos tenido un grato paseo en un bonito barco, rodeados de Sol, agua y buena gente. Hemos podido ver las ballenas perfectamente, las veíamos incluso pasar por debajo del barco. Patrick, el capitán de aseguró de que ya estuviéramos conformes con las fotos que tomamos de las ballenas antes de cambiar de rumbo, acercarnos a una pequeña playa, ofrecernos sandwiches, bebidas y aperitivos, y darnos un buen rato para nadar, ofreciéndonos también unas gafas para hacer snorkel y observar la gran cantidad de peces que había bajo nosotros buscando los trozos de galletas que el capitán lanzaba al agua. En todo momento se aseguran de que tengas agua, o cualquier otra bebida a mano, de que ya estás conforme con el aperitivo y de que te lo has pasado bien. La música de marineros irlandeses da un toque especial a la travesía. En resumen, merece la pena, es divertido, es muy bonito y se está muy a gusto en compañía de irlandeses.

The Hero of day so kann man den sehr sympathischen, erfahrenen und humorvollen Skipper José Ramón durchaus nennen. Fast schon liebevoll erklärt er einem alles was nach dem Ablegen auf einen zukommt. Zu sechst + Kapitän ging es los. Und er verspricht nicht zu viel. Klar kann er den Wellengang und das Erscheinen von Grindwahlen oder Delphinen nicht vorhersagen, aber durch seine Erfahrung konnten meine Freundin und ich heute eine Grindwahlfamilie mit ihrem Baby und Delphine bei der "Jagd" beobachten. Einfach nur traumhaft. In der Bucht angekommen ging es ab ins Wasser. Schildkröten waren leider keine da, aber dennoch die Fische beim schnorcheln zu beobachten war schon toll. Danach gab es auf der Rückfahrt kleine Snacks und Getränke. Auch konnte er viel über die Tiere und die Gegend erzählen. Für dies Tour hätte ich auch mehr bezahlt. Vielen vielen Dank José Ramón für diesen Ausflug.

Don't expect sailing! It's actually just cruising on the motor. Unfortunately our guide didn't pay enough attention to actually explain us a bit about maritime life etc. and didn't seem really engaged. We didn't really understand what was the plan of the tour. After we saw one whale group we continued to swimming spot where we were rushed and couldn't really swim long enough to enjoy snorkelling. We didn't try to look for any dolphins and I don't understand why, it wasn't explained to us.

We paid a GUIDED tour for whale watching. However, the guide was not interested at all in telling us anything. We didn’t like his attitude and his style, he seemed very disinterested. If we wanted a boat driver we would have booked one. I don’t remember his name but it was not the owner. I believe the owner Patrick is more interested and talkative. This could be a great tour but we were not happy. The time for swimming was also a little rushed. I would have enjoyed more time to swim.

Abbiamo fatto una bellissima escursione, abbiamo visto le balene . Patrick è stato fantastico eravamo in 6 persone pace e tranquillità ed anche un bellissimo aperitivo in barca

We went out for a boat trip with Galatea Saliing today and it was spectacular. The owner Patrick was good fun on arrival and made us feel very welcome and the on board Captain was brilliant. Took us right up to the whales and told us all about them. We then docked for some lunch and swimming, where snorkels were provided for the children to view the fish. 100% reccomend 😊🐠🐟

Una gran decepción! Íbamos muy ilusionados por la excursión pero de lo "prometido" a lo realmente ofrecido hay mucha distancia. Patrón español que no explico nada, se dedico más a hablar por el móvil, aperitivo de refrescos de marca blanca y sándwiches preparados bastantes horas antes. Conseguimos ver alguna ballena calderón pero no tan cerca como nos hubiera gustado ni tanto rato como deseábamos. Una pena.

Hoy hemos hecho la excursión con Patrick y ha superado nuestras expectativas,además de ver muuchos delfines,calderones y dos ballenas!!!impresionante, el trayecto ha sido muy agradable nos hemos bañado en una cala de agua transparente y nos ha dado un aperitivo que estaba muy bien con sándwich,patatas galletitas y algún caramelo para los niños y todas las bebidas que hemos querido.Patrick es encantador y se ha preocupado mucho de que viéramos los animales...y nos ha ido explicando los diferentes que veíamos.. hemos disfrutado muchiisimo y aunq es más caro q otros viajes q se ofertan al final es mejor por ser menos personas,más personalizada y más cercano. LO RECOMIENDO.UN 10!!!

A sailing boat that doesn't sail.... I think the front sail is not even in enough good condition to be use. I don't understand why everyone else is so happy with this trip.... And the snack we had was far from looking like the one you see on pictures...

Bobby and I had a great half day out with Galatea on Thursday 24th March. We saw lots of pilot whales, then lots of dolphins when heading back to shore, where we had a lovely snorkel plus lunch. From what I've seen if you want to see the whales you need to do a small boat trip and not go on one of the huge catamarans. Thanks.

Fantastic trip with only two others! Guide was super friendly and helpful. We were able to see dolphins swimming alongside the boat and a pilot whale. Absolutely incredible experience. We also stopped off for sandwiches, beers and swimming.

Amazing trip- never seen that many dolphins before! Our captain Patric made sure we had enough of pictures and enough of food and drinks ;) he was very nice and is a great sailor! We recommend going for a trip with him!

Was a superb trip 21.09.21. Just 7 passengers and the captain who was very informative and knew exactly where the Pilot Whales would be. Amazing to see them up close. Sandwiches, snacks and drinks provided. Time for a swim and a snorkel. Highly recommend.

Excursión más que recomendable. Es muy bonita. Patric, el hombre Irlandés que nos atendió, es muy amable y Xavi, nuestro capitán, todo un encanto.

Un experiencia única! Respetan muchísimo a los animales! Por la situación en la que estamos ( covic-19 ) No coincidimos con nadie más en la salida del barco solo mi pareja y yo, pero el barco está preparado para 7 personas y es ideal. Isa la capitana una chica gallega, aparte de ser buena capitana, es experta en cetáceos, y eso se nota, a la hora de explicar las cosas y respetarlas. Con respetarlas me refiero a que, Isa se acercó muy poco a poco y apagó el motor para que no se asustaran. A lo que se respeta y cuida su bienestar, ya que al Cabo de una hora vimos otro barco, que se puso literalmente encima de ellas. La excursión consiste en intentar ver a las ballenas + acercarse a una calita a bañarse + tomar un tentenpie Supongo que por que estamos en temporada baja pero nos salió a cada uno 40€ 3 horas.

Ive lived on the island for more than 30 years been out many times but this was the best trip ever. Isa the lady captain is in tune with the animals never seen them so close and calm. Catering wonderful. Thankyou to the whole team fabulous experience!

Dziś wybraliśmy się w 3 godzinny rejs Łodzią Galatea. Łódź jest 7 osobowa, ale nam trafił się rejs tylko we dwoje. Płynęliśmy z przemiłym kapitanem o imieniu Patrick. Udało nam się zobaczyć wieloryby Calderon Tropical i żółwie. Kapitan manewrował Łodzią tak, żeby podpłynąć jak najbliżej. Dał nam możliwość zrobienia fantastycznych zdjęć po czym poczęstował nas przekąskami i piwem :-) Jednym słowem polecamy i pozdrawiamy kapitana Patricka.!!!

Bellissima esperienza in barca a vela a largo della costa di Tenerife sud. Una gita vissuta in relax e ottima compagnia guidati dallo skipper Massimo che ci ha messi subito a nostro agio. Tre ore di escursione volate via tra avvistamenti di balenotteri, bagni e spuntini. Grazie Galatea e grazie Massimo, sicuramente torneremo a trovarvi.

Super expérience vécu mardi 26 février. Nous étions 8 une famille nous avons passer un super moment . Nous avons vu des baleines et des tortues dans leur milieu naturelle c était un super moment. Merci à notre guide Max il a était tout simplement adorable avec nous merci pour tout Max. 😆

Experiencia inolvidable en el Galatea! José Ramón se preocupa en todo momento de que todos los pasajeros disfruten. Travesía en un velero totalmente acondicionado, ideal para grupos pequeños, lo que hace que el viaje sea íntimo y relajado. Hemos visto ... casi rozado!!! ballenas piloto, hemos hecho snorkel, baños en una hermosa cala, tomado un almuerzo estupendo y disfrutado de los relatos del patrón. Te deja un buen sabor de boca. Los cordobeses te saludan!!!

Fantastic cruise as we hoped and it did not fail. We 6 altogether and plus Jose the skipper went out to sea on time and saw pilot whales and went snorkeling in a bay where there was fish everywhere. We had a lovely time and good food too, I well worth the money .

Geen volgepropte boot met toeristen bij Galatea maar een boottocht waar alles draait om in een kleine groep van maximum 6 personen kennis te maken met de walvissen. Want dat zijn ze, walvissen, omdat ze groter zijn dan 4,5 moeten noemen ze het geen dolfijnen meer. Na het uitvaren van de haven ga je op zee voor 3 uren. Eerst weg van het land om walvissen te spotten onder deskundige begeleiding van Ramon. Gewoonweg een unieke belevenis opdat ze tot dichtbij het bootje komen, bij een grotere boot zal dit minder snel gebeuren. Daarna kun je zelf het roer overnemen en vaar je naar een baai nabij La Caleta waar je een half uurtje kunt snorkelen. Om vervolgens terug te varen naar Puerto Colón door de kustlijn te volgen. Ondertussen geniet je van een drankje en versnaperingen. Het was precies wat we ervan gehoopt hadden. De prijs van 35 euro per persoon voor deze trip is eigenlijk te goedkoop. Gewoonweg top! Bedankt Ramon!

Excellente matinée et sans aucun doute, l'un des meilleurs moments des vacances. Notre skipper était super! Ils nous a donné d'excellent explications tout au long de l'excursion. Nous le recommandons vivement!

La excursión en el velero Galatea es una experiencia única e inolvidable para hacer una travesía hasta plena mar y ver el santuario de ballenas que habita en la costa sur de Tenerife, y que es una de las actividades más destacadas de la zona sur de la isla. Se pueden seleccionar dos modalidades: una de 3h-3h 30' y otra de 5h. El punto de salida es el Puerto Colón de Adeje, desde el pantalan número 3. Realicé la primera modalidad, para mí totalmente recomendable, y de las mejores de entre todas las ofertas de este tipo que existen, por ser una excursión con un número de personas reducido (6 a 8), y por la forma de realizar el viaje. El patrón del barco, Jose Ramón es un gran anfitrión, con muchos años de experiencia que te introduce de lleno en el mar, y te explica de forma muy amena, la costa, los tipos de ballenas que se pueden avistar, el por qué están allí y la probabilidad de divisarlas que existe. Hace un trayecto triangular, variable según el estado del mar, que consiste primero en adentrarse al mar en busca de los calderones tropicales, más conocidas como ballenas piloto, y cuya parte del viaje será más larga o menos en función de lo visibles que estén. También se pueden encontrar algunas veces tortugas bobas (tortugas careta careta) y delfines. Tras estar en alta mar y estar un poco acostumbrados al movimiento del velero, Jose Ramón te suele ofrecer una bebida mientras se encuentran las ballenas, y una vez cerca de ellas y contemplarlas con el barco parado, se vuelve hacia la costa hacia el puertito de Adeje en Armiñe para descansar, hacer snorkel y ver los bancos de peces palometa, en aguas totalmente cristalinas, o en alguna otra cala según el tiempo que se haya tardado en avistar los calderones. Se sube al barco para degustar un picnic variado de snacks salados, dulces, sándwiches y bebidas y después se realiza la tercera y última travesía paralela a la costa contemplando toda la costa de Adeje y el paisaje hasta Puerto Colón. El patrón está totalmente entregado al viaje y te ofrece disfrutar del barco en la parte de solárium delantera, en la trasera o en la central para que la experiencia sea total. La mejor travesía en barco que hay en toda Costa Adeje.

We had a wonderful day thanks to Jose Ramon. We saw pilot whales learnt so much about the area and the history of the region from a very caring, knowledgeable person. He made sure we were having a fantastic time all the time. The food was freshly made and delicious. Home made hummus to die for. Thank you 😁😁😁😁

Simplemente sublime.

Las reseñas pierden todo el valor cuando la persona que se dedica a dar servicio a otras, después de dejar a una familia con dos niños y tras esperar tres horas a su servicio de "excursión privada" se comporta como un animal sin escrúpulos, huyendo con sus clientes de una situación que no tenía ninguna excusa. Tras contratar la excursión vía agente de EXO YET que le llamo a las 13:30h para confirmar que hacíamos la reserva, pagar el dinero que pedía sin pestañear ya que el barco anterior que contratamos sufrió una avería..... nos quedamos esperando en un MUY descuidado puerto deportivo tratando que se nos hagan las 17h. Entramos al pantelan 3 y al llegar al final vemos un barco (que nadie se imagine un yate) con un responsable del mismo, espero no sea el dueño de la empresa, algo nervioso al vernos acercarse. Creo que en este instante se dio cuenta de su inexplicable..... OLVIDO. Puso cara de póker y se defendió atacando. En su vulgar comportamiento llego a amenazarme, delante mis hijos y de mi mujer y de sus clientes de, pegarme ¿?.... suerte que tengo casi 2 metros de estatura y Dios no quiso que me sacara de mis casillas. Fuimos totalmente sorprendidos de este sitio a recuperar el dinero al muelle de en frente. Llegaron a llamarle por teléfono para decirle, ya que seguía con su comportamiento chulesco, que lo que hizo no tiene explicación y que para olvidarse de esta reserva tiene que estar drogado. Resumen. Vivimos en Alicante, ciudad turística donde se cuida a su puerto, su cliente, la hostelería, etc. Este, todavía no sé si trabajador o dueño de la empresa, debería tener retirada la licencia de inmediato. NUNCA volveremos al puerto de Adeje. Pena que personajes como este estropeen el recuerdo de Tenerife que nos llevaremos. Se nos pasó por la cabeza ir a la comisaría, imaginaros nuestra sorpresa, pero no quisimos perder más tiempo. TOTALMENTE desaconsejable.

Muy lindo velero,bien cuidado y confortable y la excursión divertida ,bañarse en agua cristalina y observar el fondo del mar en zonas virgenes ,no tiene precio.
