Great gravel tour today with Tomasso. The whole experience could not have been better. Excellent communication throughout. Pick up from the hotel. Spectacular gravel route through the pine forest and dropped home again. If you need a guide in Teneriffe for cycling Tomasso is the man. Super cool, friendly and helpful. A great guy to spend a day with.

Did a great tour with Tom in January 25 up into the caldera of the Teide. Tom supported me in booking a perfect bike at bike point Tenerife (El Medano), picked me up and drove with his van to the starting point. We did then a tour of 50km and 2.100 height meters in total. Tom knows every corner of the area, took pictures and was a very convenient companion during the ride. Will definitely go again with him.

Tom organized a brilliant guided road bike tour for us. He was service minded, pleasant and knowledgeable. He arranged first class equipment for us. The route he had chosen was fun, challenging and spectacular. Highly recommended and great value!! Kjetil Norway

I joined the East Coast Tour in Tenerife with Cycling Islands. The whole experience was brilliant. Excellent communication beforehand and everything was taken care of, including organising the bike and its delivery to me as well as transportation from my hotel to the tour start. We were a group of seven with two guides. The group I cycled with were all really lovely. The tour is classed as intermediate and our levels differed slightly, but Tom and Massimo were very flexible so although we started and finished the ride together, we were able to choose from two options in the middle, with either more or less climbing. The scenery and the views were amazing and it was a great way to see a bit more of Tenerife. We stopped at a cafe for a coffee and something to eat on the way home. It was a great experience from start to finish and I will definitely be booking again when I'm next in Tenerife.

I ride with Tom twice during my time in Tenerife. The first time was in a mixed ability group which I wouldn’t do again as there is inevitably some waiting. Not Tom’s fault and difficult to manage. Much more fun was the 1-1 private tour that we did to the west coast through banana farms and to Santiago de Teide. The side roads were quiet, the road surface perfect and the gradient never too steep. We stopped in a legendary bike cafe with the shirts and pictures from all the pro teams. Ended up doing over 1,600 metres elevation but it was very manageable and back for lunch. I recommend using Tom who is encouraging but also leaves you to find your pace with no stress

Amazing experience, My son and I rode with Tom one day and I left my son (16 year old) to ride a bigger day with Tom the following day. Tom kept me informed all the time whilst my cycling mad son ride with him up the hills! I completely recommend!

Fantastic day out with Tom riding up Mount Teide. Sorted out the bike hire, and arrived to pick me up on time. Great service, knowledgeable about the route and best places to stop for coffee. Brilliant service all round and I will use him again.

I have never felt so privileged to give someone a review. Thank you Tom. Your amazing, all details and contact was perfect, you absolutely hammered the tails and climbs and exactly what I wanted. It was a real pleasure to ride all day together. I have been lucky to be with people and ride many places across the world but this will stay with me. Take care my friend.

Tom delivered a bike in perfect condition to my hotel and picked it up as well. Great service, very good communication and very flexible. I did not go for a guided tour but Tom gave me some good advice on places to ride anyway. I am sure I would have loved to ride with him.

Had a great day on the Mount Teidi road bike tour with Tom and Massimo. Met a great group of other riders as well. I also rented a bike which was as specified, in perfect conditions with no faults. Couldn't recommend this experience higher.

Après 2 sorties, une en gravel et l'autre en mountainbike je ne peux que vous recommander les yeux fermés Tom comme local guide !!!Pour ma part 2 sorties en mode sportif ! Tom s adapte à tous les niveaux et expériences. Pris en charge à mon hôtel avec un vélo, sortie avec des infos sur tenerife, les paysages et la vie sur l'île, des parcours superbes... inutile d'essayer de chercher un parcours seul au risque d être déçu. Pensez à cycling island. Merci pour ces souvenirs 😉

Everything top notch! I was picked up from my hotel and the rental bike delivered at the same time. Excellent english language skills, friendly guiding… well worth the price! One of the best days of my life. 😃

Tom was very friendly and a really good guide! He took on us Trail at The South which was really beautiful and had a Mix between easy&medium which was what we were looking for. Dont hestitate to reach out to him, we definitely use him again in The future

Couldn’t fault a top couple of days the saddle, road and mtb , Tom organised everything and was the perfect guide/host. I’ll be back for more and hopefully the big Tiede day🚵🏾‍♂️🌋

We had a fantastic trip with Tom, trails were absolutely stunning and quite challenging. Tom is super friendly and told us some interesting facts about volcanos and local area. During the trip we had a nice break in local place with great food. We can totally recommend this experience, and will for sure go again next time on Tenerife.

Can only echo below reviews. Excellent communication and organisation. Gave a sense of confidence right from the outset that you were in good hands. Only suggestion for improvement is that Tom hangs back and chats a bit more during the ride, sharing his knowledge of the island and cycling. Tortilla and tomato salad thrown in at the beach bar was a nice touch. Can only recommend. Gracias!

I have just completed my 3rd cycling trip with Tom and as always it was fantastic. Tom correspondence prior to the trip is great and the trips are well organised with good equipment, food and coffee stops. Tom is friendly, informative and has a detailed knowledge of the routes. I thoroughly recommend Tom & Cycling Islands for a fantastic cycling trip in Tenerife. Thanks again Tom and I’ll be back again in the future 👍

I’ve been to Tenerife now twice in the last year and when I’ve wanted to go for a cycle I’ve had Tom guiding me on both occasions. Tom knows the roads like the back of his hand and he’s suggested routes to me in the past , sending relevant route data in advance. October 2023 was Teide time and it didn’t disappoint, an absolutely wonderful ride was had. All rides come with food and drinks (coffee/coke) included as well as pick up from your hotel. Communication is excellent and when you turn up on the day the bike is sorted and I don’t need to worry about any mechanical issues as I know this will be sorted with Toms expertise. If you want a special day out on the bike when in Tenerife then be sure to give Tom a call.

I went on two trips with Tom: Masca and Teide. Tom was very reliable in the communication and coordination (of pick-up etc.) before the trip, he was punctual and reliable for pick-up and drop off and he was a great guide. He kept the group together, helped out with little mechanical problems and even took great photos that he provided super fast. Besides that he is a very humble and nice guy that is interesting to talk to and spend a day with chatting. If you're looking for a group ride on Tenerife, I definitely recommend going with him!
