The ocean swimming itself was very nice, with great views. I'm dissatisfied with the way they treated me. I haven't eaten anything yet. I have allergies, so I asked for the food to be replaced with regular fries. The lady told me that fries were only for children and I didn't mention the food. I couldn't eat this dish which was for adults. It was disrespectful to people and not asking if someone could eat everything.I will not recommend your services, on the contrary, I will recommend another company because people there could come to an agreement about food.I paid for a trip I didn't use so I could eat. I was at sea for three hours without eating.

Thanks for the opportunity to pass on my comments on our trip today. The coach collection was on time and a good quality white Iveco 55 seater coach. The woman collecting paying customers from the hotels did not wait at all long. People getting on the coach at later pick ups struggled to get a seat. The harbour side was abit confusing with little guidance. The staff on the boat were very polite and welcoming. Not much room to move around though. A trip to the toilets was a difficult descent. There was no safety drill before leaving port. The drinks were free but of poor quality. The meal was very good. We saw around 7 pilot whales, quite close-up. There was a nice group of customers on board. Some decent music was played. All together it was enjoyable.

Én egy kicsit túlárazottnak, túlhypoltnak mondanám, ezt az egész delfin-bálnales túrát, ami kb. 2,5-3 óra. Az árban benne van a hajón fogyasztható üdítő és sör, valamint egy tányér főtt étel (rizses zöldség vagy zöldséges rizs, attól függ, ki mit kapott). Bálnát láttunk az igaz, de alig-alig mutatták magukat, delfinből egyet sem sikerült megnézni. Ezt követően egy közeli öbölben kb. 20-25p ugrálás a vízben stb stb... Sokat nem adott ez a túra, részünkről igazából kihagyható lett volna...annak ajánlom, aki szereti a túlzsúfolt, fakultatív programakot...igazi szervezett turista program 👎

Boat was clean and well kept, with friendly staff. Saw a couple pods of pilot whales on the trip. Would advise bringing food with you as the food served may not be to your liking, especially if you are vegetarian.

Esperienza meravigliosa, abbiamo avuto molta fortuna e abbiamo visto sia balene che delfini. Lo staff educato e coinvolgente, il cibo ottimo e Sonia ci ha spiegato dettagliatamente tutto sull’escursione e sulle balene.. una gita fantastica grazie a Sonia e a tutto lo staff. Super consigliata!!

Esperienza che assolutamente vale il prezzo del biglietto. Abbiamo visto tanti bellissimi cetacei caratteristici di questa zona. Catamarano abbastanza affollato, ma comunque piacevole. Birra, bibite, sagria, paella inclusi. Wc a bordo e menu per bambini con patatine e nuggets di pollo. Pausa per un piacevole bagno in mare con acqua cristallina. Equipaggio professionale e simpatico, davvero una bella esperienza. Compreso di trasferimento andata e ritorno in pullman. Consigliatissimo

Une expérience exceptionnelle ! Nous avons fait la sortie en mer avec Maxicat à Tenerife et c’était tout simplement génial 😍. Équipe super sympa, très pro et ambiance détendue tout au long de la croisière. Les paysages sont magnifiques, on a pu observer la mer sous son plus beau jour. Petite anecdote : nous nous étions trompés de jour et sommes arrivés avec une journée d’avance… et malgré ça, l’équipe nous a quand même fait embarquer ! Un grand merci pour leur gentillesse et leur flexibilité 🙏. Je recommande à 100 %, que du bonheur du début à la fin 🌊🐬☀️

Appart le repas qui était bon mais sans plus nous avons pu voir quelque baleine mais malheureusement assez loin le catamaran est bondée de monde et sais vraiment désagréable surtout en famille nous sommes entassés comme des sardines, la partie baignade est éclaire et pas grand chose à voir nous sommes déçu sais pour nous la première et dernière fois avec maxicat

We zijn netjes opgehaald met een bus en naar de haven gebracht. Daar werden we met heel veel mensen op een catamaran gepropt. Er was gratis drinken bij de bar. Ook bier en sangria. De frisdrank had geen prik. Er was ook een buffet. Daar was de keus uit koude friet, kipnuggets en paella. Daarbij kon je een broodje pakken. Helaas waren de broodjes op voordat de laatste mensen aan de beurt waren. We hebben wel dolfijnen gezien en er was ook de mogelijkheid om te zwemmen. Helaas was het voor ons geen succes. Te veel mensen op de boot gepropt en slecht eten en drinken.

Great boat trip exceeded our expectations

Lovely afternoon out..unfortunately food gave two of my three friends an upset stomach. I wasn't affected but have to say the food wasn't that great. Was cold and I only got 3 small sized pieces of chicken amongst the rice.

Het was een fijne en ontspannen tocht. De boot zat niet vol, waardoor we konden kiezen waar we wilden zitten. Ook het eten was lekker en meer dan genoeg. We hebben zelfs walvissen gezien, erg leuk!

Nice experience, paella wasn’t good. A bit messy, lots of people, and once they allow to have a bath become a nightmare as people all wet around and slippery floor…

We went as a family of 6 younger being 3 and we had a fabulous time. The boat ride was smooth and just so relaxing. We saw some wales had some great food and my son got to jump in the sea for the first time. All the crew were friendly. Definitely an experience we will definitely be doing again

Super interesante excursión en catamaran y una pasada poder ver cetáceos tan de cerca y sin molestarlos, la tripulación ha sido de gran ayuda y super amables con cualquier petición. Lo único que le echaría en cara es la calidad de la comida, el arroz estaba pasable pero los nuggets de pollo parecían una suela de zapato , incomibles no sé cómo sele puede dar eso a un niño

Went on a family boat trip with my partner and daughter which was really nice up until it was food time and the member of staff Sonia refused to serve my child a kids meal as she didn’t believe her age because she is big for her age I had to sit and argue to get her the food, very unprofessional. but what was even worse is she went on to serve two grown men the kids meals because they didn’t like the adult meals.

Brilliant trip out. Great value for money. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Anyone who isn’t happy has very unrealistic expectations for the price paid.

It was a nice trip. We saw a lot of whales. But why music on board. Is the sound of nature not enough?

Very easy to book, transfer to and from hotel with ease , very enjoyable experience and the guy giving the tour on the microphone was a class act got the whole boat bouncing very talented dude and we got to see what we wanted to see!

Terrible Experience! I really wouldn’t recommend this boat trip to anyone looking for a relaxing or enjoyable time. It was honestly a horrible experience from start to finish. We were crammed onto a tiny catamaran with around 100 people, with absolutely no personal space. Most of the trip was spent squeezed shoulder-to-shoulder, unable to move comfortably. The narrow walking path meant someone was constantly pushing past you every few seconds forcing you to lift your legs or move, even when there was literally nowhere to go. The crowd (mostly loud British tourists in our case) spent the entire trip yelling non-stop, so forget about enjoying any peace or the sound of the ocean. As for the wildlife? In three hours, we saw a glimpse of a whale for about three minutes that’s it. The rest of the time was just noise, discomfort, and irritation. The drinks were watered down beer, cola, 7Up everything tasted like it had been mixed with water. The food was just rice. If you're hoping for a peaceful day at sea, this is definitely NOT the trip for you. We came back more stressed than when we boarded. Strongly not recommended.

Brilliant from start to finish all staff very welcoming and so informative, even though holds large capacity of people still more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable. Food was great and good choice of different drinks on board and we seen a few whales which was amazing lots of photo opportunities and a chance to swim in the beautiful blue water . For the price you cannot go wrong 3 hours of bliss . Highly recommend thank you for the experience!

Met friends for life & pilot whales made the day perfect

Boat trip in Tenerife turned out to be a waste of time. We saw a few dolphins far away and no whales — but that’s nature, so no complaints about that. The real problem was the guide, who talked non-stop and incredibly loudly throughout the whole trip 🤦. We booked the English tour, but apart from “hello” and “goodbye”, there wasn’t much English at all.

Well organised, beautiful views and got to see some whales too,loved swimming in the sea,lovely food and drinks readily available ,, very friendly crew ,got a rendition of Happy birthday and a bottle of wine at the end too,as a whole a wonderful experience!!

Professional and friendly staff met us aboard the big red catamaran down at the harbour. We headed out into the conservation area and it wasn’t long before we encountered several pods of small pilot whales. They were plentiful and inquisitive, coming close to our boat. We then motored and had a paella lunch and a drink . We arrived in a small bay and anchored . You could swim if you wanted. On the way back to the harbour, we passed close to the beach area of Costa Adeje. A very nice 3 hour trip

A great experience going out from Port Colon to sea on a Catamaran to see the Pilot whales and Bottlenose dolphins and and provided a meal with free soft drinks or beer obviously included in the price and also dive off the catamaran to swim half an hour. The sail out and return to the port lasted approximately three and high hours

We had an amazing trip on the maxicat. Only 20 minutes in to our trip we were seeing a pod of Whales. Our captain was highly skilled and managed to follow along side them for a while so we could get some fantastic photos. When we came back in to the cove we were allowed to get off the boat and swim which was nice. Drinks were all inclusive and we had chicken paella which was lovely. Would highly recommend, the crew were all amazing.😊

Absolutely loved it! Really well organised. Felt safe at all times. The bus was late which can happen in traffic but was kept notified.

Second experience with Maxicat and same pleasure. Perfect.

Nous avons réservés pour l'excursion de 13H00, un bus est venu nous chercher à l'hôtel à 11H00 et récupéré tous les autres passagers. Arrivés sur le port les instructions sont claires, on monte sur le grand catamaran, nous sommes environs 40 personnes. Il y a une photographe qui immortalise votre monté et propose 2 photos pour 15€. Excursion très belle, nous avons vu des dauphins/baleines et même une tortue, ils sont très compétents mais un problème comme nous sommes nombreux c'est difficile de bien voir les dauphins à bord car tout le monde se précipite... Après la navigation, on se pose près d'une crique pour nager/plonger (à faire absolument l'eau était super bonne), puis pour manger une paella (très bonne) et un bout de pain. Pour les enfants il y a des frites et des nuggets. Les boissons sont à volonté (ce sont des tireuses c'est pas des cannettes). L'excursion dure 2H30 dommage normalement c'est entre 3h et 4h mais honnêtement les seuls point négatif c'est que si vous êtes dans le sud de l'île, la prise en charge du bus est longue car vous êtes les premiers à être pris en charge donc vous devez récupérer tout le temps donc ca vous prends une bonne partie de votre journée.. Je recommande pour le prix si vous souhaitez quelque chose de pas chère mais si vous voulez plus d'intimité il y a d'autre excursion pour 20 personnes maximum.

Vimos delfines y ballenas🙏🏽eso si recomiendo tomarse algo para el mareo para quien se marea es brutal pero a pesar de estar mareada y con ansiedad el personal del barco me atendieron con mucha empatía y cariño. Muchísimas gracias chicos la gente de Tenerife son increíbles, respetuosos, cariños y empáticos.

Trip itself was amazing, got to see so many pods of dolphins and they swam right up to the boat! Crew were lovely the whole time and it was overall great experience. Our trip was unfortunately cut short due to an accident that happened while we’d stopped to swim - but the crew were quick to handle it and were very apologetic that we had to cut the trip short, although this was no one’s fault. It was a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend this company/dolphin trip to anyone.

The experience was good, saw some small whales but the trip was cut short because a woman cut her leg badly going into the water and had to head back to port.

Enjoyed the trip but was expecting more info about the whales. No food choice white rice is not a good choice for diabetics. Staff friendly.

Had a great time 12/9/25 on the Maxicat tour, saw some up close appearances from the black fin whales. Good food and drink and plenty of it. The captain and his staff were extremely helpful, knowledgable and friendly. Had some great swim time off the katamaran before lunch. Overall a superb excursion for all.

Superb 3 hours, watching pilot whales and swimming in the deep sea. Worth every cent! Andreas, the Italian guide, talked me carefully through all the options as I have neurodivergent children and the captain and crew were so respectful of the whales that I almost cried with joy at seeing such beautiful creatures in their natural environment. One even swam under our catamaran with a whoosh of water coming out of the spout before it dove under. Mesmerising!

If you're looking for a wonderful relaxing trip out on the ocean Maxicat definitely delivers. The crew are incredibly attentive and friendly. A little disappointed that our charter never made it the Diego Fernandez bay as we specifically booked for the snorkeling opportunity BUT the captain did chose to stop at an alternative bay to allow enough time for swimming and for some very fun jumping off the side of the cat. We even got the chance to see some pilot whales. Definitely worth the price!

So relaxing, only thing I would add is we felt pressured into having a pictures taken, one of our party is autistic so doesn't like his photo taken but even though we said no, we still felt pressured into, but everything esle was amazing, food was delicious and plenty of drinks.

We booked the catamaran excursion through our hotel, which offered a discount. It cost €27 per adult and €14 per child, with payment made directly on the boat. The minibus arrived on time and was air-conditioned, which made for a comfortable ride. We were dropped off right at the beach. The scheduled boarding time was 1:00pm, but we didn’t get on the boat until 1:17pm, and it didn’t set off until 1:33pm. This delay was due to the first group who were meant to arrive at 12:50pm but didn’t turn up until 1:30pm – so the delay wasn’t the fault of the other passengers already there. In the end, we lost about 33 minutes of the experience, returning at 3:50pm. Lunch was included, but there was no announcement when it was ready, so it caused a bit of confusion. The boat was also moving during lunch service, which made it tricky to carry food and keep your balance. The kids were served chicken nuggets and chips, which were just warm, while adults had paella. Despite the delays and minor issues, I’d still recommend this trip based on the price we paid.

Ieri abbiamo fatto un’escursione sul catamarano di 3 ore. È stata un’esperienza indimenticabile con un paesaggio mozzafiato… avvistamento di balene e delfini (troppo bello). L’equipaggio è simpatico ed accogliente . Sulla nave era presente una ragazza che scattava foto e si possono comprare al costo Di 10€, sono presenti servizi igienici. Dopo aver avvistato balene e delfini ci siamo spostati in una caletta, dove abbiamo potuto fare un bagno ammirando il fondale del mare con dei colori pazzeschi. Durante il tragitto abbiamo bevuto la birra, sangria,Coca-Cola ecc (senza pagare nulla), dopo di che si è fatta l’ora del pranzo e ci hanno servito la paella che era gustosa ed abbondante, per i bambini c’erano patatine fritte e polpette di pollo. Il catamarano è in ottime condizioni e soprattutto è pulito . Consiglio di prenotare in anticipo. Siamo stati benissimo, lo consiglio ❤️

Me gustó mucho el paseo, el personal abordo es excelente! el catamarán está en perfecto estado, todo limpio, solo acotaría la importancia de colocar una línea anti resbalante en el borde del catamarán para tirarse al agua y en la escalera para subir de vuelta. Con respecto a la organización en tierra, existe falta de información y organización al hacer la fila para abordar y sugeriría complementar el techo del túnel de la fila para evitar las horas bajo el sol mientras esperas para subir al catamarán, el personal debería de estar mínimo 30 minutos antes para organizar la cola y chequear los boletos.

Used Maxicat about 12 times at least over the last 12 years and they never failed to deliver a great experience and got to know crew members in the past . We have tried only 2 boat trips outwith Maxicat and they were extremely disappointing. 10/10 Maxicat

Les baleines étaient bien au rendez-vous, un moment magique et émouvant. Le repas servi à bord était tout simplement délicieux et l’ambiance générale, au top du début à la fin. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour leur gentillesse et leurs attentions qui ont fait toute la différence.

Muy buena experiencia, el paseo, las vistas, el ambiente a bordo, lo mejor es el personal a bordo, lo lamentable y desagradable es la comida, una pena la verdad, ojalá puedan mejorar ese aspecto.

Хорошее время для проведения с семьёй, средний размер катамаран подходит для комфортного отдыха. Не чувствуешь себя как селёдка в банке. Кухня тоже приличная и штат на борту приветливый. Многим рекомендую.а также с собой взять маску с трубкой.

I have to say this was are best experience by far on are holiday to Tenerife. We done jet skiing, Siam park, Loro park, star gazing but nothing beats the Maxicat dolphin & whale watching experience, we all loved it, especially my son, it really made his holiday... Great work team MAXICAT.

Great trip. We were lucky enough to see pilot whales which was amazing. My only disappointment was that the trip is sold as a 3hr trip but we were only on the boat for around 2:20hrs, so we could have had longer out at sea.

We had a really good time and Victoria was fantastic.I would only suggest that getting back on a kayak after snorkelling was challenging for almost everyone in the group. My friend and myself had bruises as a result.I don’t think that was a necessary part of the whole experience

Excursión muy recomendable amena, divertida

Great excursion experience for the whole family while you on holiday in Tenerife. Free bus service is available from different pickup points. You will be sailing out to the sea on a catamaran boat, it's about a 3 hour tour and you guaranteed to see some pilot whale 🐳 turtles and if you really lucky some dolphins 🐬 too! They also stop for a 30 break, when you can enjoy some swimming in the sea. If you have googles you able to see more fishes ander the sea. Staff are very nice and helpful,and providing knowledge of wildlife you about to see. Laura and Silvia was looking after all passengers, if you feel seasick, they provide sickbags and cold towels. Food and cold drinks served on board. Everything is nice and clean. (Push button should be changed for "push for flush the toilet") Book online!!!! Well worth it!!! 🇮🇪

Poor service ! Most unprofessional firm I’ve ever used They prepared meals and asked everyone to help themselves, BUT apparently adults won’t get chicken nuggets and chips ! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this firm Avoid if you can !

Bellissima esperienza Max è stato eccezionale super professionale e disponibile ci ha spiegato dettagliatamente tutta l escursione una navetta ci ha prelevato e portato al porto lo staff il capitano tutti cordiali gentilissimi ci hanno offerto bevande sangria il catamarano molto bello abbiamo fatto una piacevole navigazione con pranzo avvistamento e bagno tutto con molta armonia musica esperienza meravigliosa da ripetere grazie a tutti soprattutto a Rubén

Seré clara 10/10- Al vendedor, no se puede mentir y poner una sonrisa, y el lo hace. 10/10 -Si que puedes ver animales marinos 0/10- El barco se mueve bastante y no facilitan bolsas de vomitar 00000000/10 la comida, horrible, un insulto llamar paella a arroz con aceitunas rellenas de anchoa , guisantes y perejil. Soy valenciana y es una ofensa Ni los peces se lo comen ¿Adivinas porque? Porque no hay peces a 20 metros a la redonda del barco 2/10 la experiencia No repetiría

La experiencia esta bien, ves las ballenas piloto bastante bien desde cerca al menos en nuestro caso, lo malo de la experiencia es como te la venden, se supone que te paras un rato en una cala para nadar y estar ahí, el rato es muy corto no llegará a 30 min y encima te venden que le podrás dar de comer a los peces y estar viéndolos, donde te dejan, no hay un pez a 30km a la redonda y además no esta permitido alimentarlos según dicen. La tripulación muy amable pero la comida de muy baja calidad, llamar paella (y no es por ser valenciano) a lo que nos dieron es criminal.

Totalmente recomendable, desde las personas que contratamos el viaje en catamarán (Julie y Joao) continuando por el equipo del Catamarán( Gabriel, Rubén y el Capitán Moisés) nos gustó lo que vimos pero el trato fue exquisito. Muchas gracias.

Had a lovely boat trip. Food and drink was included in the price. The ticket sales person was very explanatory and if you needed anything further he was more than happy to assist. Would recommend to friends and family and would use this company again should I return to Tenerife in the future.

Very good experience, the crew brought humour, including telling one guy to sit down as he look like jack from titanic, tended to a few people, my daughter included who got sea sick, saw dolphins and whales and stopped to have a swim, would definitely go again

A little delayed start waiting for the previous session to arrive back but overall a good experience. Despite the big waves the crew handled it with confidence! Managed to spot some dolphins and the highlight was getting a taste of the Atlantic Ocean 🌊 not to mention they feed you generously with a big plate of paella.

Pour avoir fais le même type d’excursion un peu partout dans le monde franchement c’était pas top l’équipage pas top non plus sa donne un peu trop d’ordre à mon goût 0 sympathie ni de dialogue j’avais ma mère handicapée avec moi ils s’en foutaient complètement ils ne l’ont ni aidé à s’installer ni même faite passer en priorité, pourtant ils ont vu qu’elle avait des difficultés, la bouffe n’en parlons pas si vous mangez pas de viande vous aurez un pauvre riz blanc nature ac des légumes vapeurs pas assaisonnés, l’arrêt baignade y’a rien à voir dans l’eau malgré masque et tuba, l’arrêt baleine et dauphins on a rien vu juste un aileron qui se baladait dans l’eau et même les horaires pas respectées, et n’y allez pas un jour où il y’a un peu de vent car vous allez finir aux toilettes à vomir comme la moitié des passagers avec nous…même si c’est environ 30-35€/personne sa vaut pas son prix personnellement je déconseille

Out of all the boat excursions this seemed best value for money, unlimited refill drinks to keep you hydrated and a meal. It’s a bumpy ride so expect a few splashes. We are guests in the ocean and people need to remember that. It’s not guaranteed you will see a dolphin or whale, but they will do their best to make it happen and when they are spotted the boat comes to a stand still so you can see them without chasing them down. We did see dolphins in their natural environment. It’s better than going to the aquarium watching them miserable in a small pool, once you see how they move and how far they swim it makes its more enjoyable knowing they are free and happy.

Would like to give 0 stars but not fair to the dolphins and whales. Which we briefly saw however we were all packed in like sardines from the beginning and didn’t get a great view as people were shoving each other out of the way. When me and my partner arrived ( we got told we couldn’t be picked up from our hotel as it was fully booked) which made me think it was going to be a packed boat anyway, however we waited in a que out in the blistering sun for 45 minutes, no water offered or anything. A Maxicat bus arrived 5 minutes before our meant to be sailing time and they got let on straight away. There were tiny children in the same que as us and were obviously suffering. Staff couldn’t care less. Our trip was only around 2 hours long, few minutes seeing the animals then about 30 minutes swimming in the sea, no life jackets or anything to assist. Didn’t eat the paella, not real paella and very cold, little girl sat next to me took a bite of her chicken nugget and spat it out, drinks warm and only enough for a sip. Would not recommend this to anyone who doesn’t like to be hearded like cattle and wants a great amount of time to see dolphins and whales. Way better options out there.

Over priced + bad food !!! It was sold that me and my family to have a lovely afternoon boat trip with swimming and spotting whales and dolphins with a fantastic lunch, WE NEVER GOT THAT!!! We only seen 1 dolphin in the far distance, we was told there was no swimming as it’s to rough, we stoped for lunch witch was a plate of nasty red dry red rice, my little girl was given 5 chips and 3 chicken nuggets, total rip off, my little girl spent the afternoon crying and hungry. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!

If u want a nice boat day do NOT do this, we didn’t see any dolphins or whales and half of the people of the boat were throwing up the whole 3 hours, if you don’t like sick DEFINITELY don’t go onto this, book a private boat.

War ein guter Ausflug, nur das Essen kann mann sich knicken wie bei allen anderen Bootstouren. Wale und Delfine gesehen und die Zeit von 3 Stunden ist gut gefüllt.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. 1. While we were waiting in line for boarding, a girl was handing out boarding passes. She simply ignored us, even though she clearly remembered us (we had asked her questions earlier). Because she didn’t give us the passes, when we got closer to the boat the man at the entrance said our tickets were not valid without them. He then just ignored me when I asked where that girl was so we could get them. Only after asking five times did someone finally bother to answer, and we had to go back and collect the passes. 2. We didn’t see any whales. Then why do you advertise them as the main attraction? Just a cheap trick to lure customers. 3. The food was awful — and even divided into “children’s” and “adults’” portions, which made it even worse. 4. Parents, please: if you know your child suffers from seasickness, don’t bring them onboard. A boy was vomiting right next to us the entire trip, which completely ruined the experience. 5. When we stopped near the cliffs for swimming, it was unsafe. The ladder leading back to the catamaran was shaking badly due to the waves and it hit my leg, leaving me with a big bump and a bruise. The staff didn’t supervise or help at all — nobody was controlling the process. Overall, it was awful. Yes, dolphins did come close to the boat, but that’s about the only good part. Definitely not worth the money and the time.

ero parecchio entusiasta di fare questa gita con maxicat ma sono rimasta sinceramente delusa,per prima cosa il bus non ci è passato a prendere nell'orario e nel punto stabilito con il ragazzo a cui avevamo prenotato l'escursione per cui abbiamo dovuto prendere un taxi rischiando di non arrivare in tempo,arrivati lì coda chilometrica,dovevamo partire alle 13 e siamo partiti 13.30,delfini visti è un parolone perchè eravamo molto distanti e abbiamo visto giusto 2 pinne,balene neanche l'ombra,mare molto mosso al punto che dopo 2h30 su 3 di viaggio siamo tornati al porto a mangiare poichè le condizioni del mare non erano ottime

Been on the maxicat today and it was very very disappointing! First of all you get the coach that picks loads of other people up from different hotels all over so we was on the coach over 1 hour, we was sat waiting 20 minutes for some people that wasn't even there when we arrived! Then we get on the maxicat and sail out, we saw a few pilot whales which was great, but we only spent around 20 minutes out of apparently 3 hour trip actually looking and seeing the whales, to me this is no way long enough, i was very disappointed how little time was spent on the whales, we spent more time on the coach! And more time stopping to swim and eat which we didn't have any of the food as it was rice and a small bread roll, i got half a cup of sprite! My son had x 2 drinks of Pepsi max. We didn't stop to swim where they was supposed to, and where we did stop had 3 large cranes making lots of noise in the background! They advertise this trip as a 3 hour boat trip but we was only out for 2 n half hours!!! TOTAL A RIP OFF at 45 euros an adult, what a waste of money!!!

We booked the three hour trip, food, drinks and pick up included. I was a little worried when I seen the amount of ppl there was getting on the boat but there is actually alot of room once on the beautiful boat. There wasn't a que for the bar the food was good and we got to see whales and dolphins up close. The staff were very friendly. BUT please take motion sickness medication even if youve never had it before. Over all lovely experience. Thank you

Je suis vraiment déçue j ai réservé pour 3 adultes 1 enfant et 1 bébé et je me suis faite arnaquer en beauté vu qu on ne parle pas la langue je ai fait la réflexion et il me repond non non c est juste. Ben tiens j avais déjà payer. Je déconseille vraiment de réserver cette excursion à Los Cristianos à côté du Burger King.

A l'exception d'un manque de traduction en français, c'est la meilleure excursion que nous avons faite sur les trois réalisées. La seule excursion où il y a bien eu de la paella et pas un pauvre sandwich (même si elle n'était pas très consistante). Equipage vraiment sympa! Nous avons pu approcher les baleines pilotes et piquer une tête😊

Tuvimos la mala suerte de no ver más que cuatro o cinco aletas a lo lejos de lo que se supone eran ballenas piloto. En la media hora parados, o comes o te bañas. No hay tiempo para hacer las dos cosas en condiciones. Personal amable y comida de muy baja calidad

Buena experiencia a pesar de que el mar estaba malo ese día. Lo único que no me gustó es que a veces creo que olvidamos donde estamos… Tenerife! Canarias! España! Entiendo que la mayoría de clientes sean turistas, pero que toda la introducción sea solamente en inglés… cuando empezamos a ver los animales marinos sí que lo nombraron en español. Al llegar le pregunté a un señor de Maxicat (mayor sin pelo) que si la fila para Maxicat era esa y su respuesta fue: no tengo tiempo! Acabamos en otra fila hasta que el personal del otro katamaran me explicó donde terminaba la cola del Maxicat. Quitando a este señor todo el personal era bastante amable. Y es un detalle que tengan menú para adultos y para niños, así como para veganos y vegetarianos. Lo recomendamos!

I love the Maxicat boats. So much nicer and more spacious than the Freebird. Staff are wonderful, warm and welcoming. We found room on the front netting, but there is also lots of shade. The trips include whale/dolphin watching, free food (delicious), unlimited bar/soft drinks and a swim. Very enjoyable.

Brilliant trip truly amazing saw lots of dolphins and a couple of whales.

Slightly disapointing! We arrived early to get a good space in the queue as the free bus was already full when we booked the day before. We were 45 minz early but there were people already queuing. There were nobody managing this queue and we had people just going to the front of the queue skipping out the 70 people waiting behind us. No staff present so people just did what they liked and queue jumped. 10.12am we started boarding the boat.... our tour was booked from 10am-1pm for a 3 hour trip, but at this pont we were still boarding up until 10.32am. Finally left at 10.35am and headed off. It was amazing and thats the reason for the 2 stars but we paid for 3 hours and had 2.5 hours because staff seemed to turn up whenever they liked. Pleasant experience but left a sour taste in my mouth as we had paid for 3 hours and only managed to get 2.5 hours because of the staff turning up late in particular the women with all the boarding information. Staff were pleasant but at this point we were all just a bit annoyed and deflated. I would recommend the freebird boat cruise that was running next to us. They seemed to be on time and the boat looked amazing.

Experiencia nefasta, te dice que la excursión es a las 16:00 y no sales hasta las 16:45 esperando al sol todo el rato en lo que llega el catamarán baja la gente se pegan 30 minutos limpiándolo y en vez de 16:00 no sales hasta las 16:45 si llevas niños llévate comida por qué los nuggets que te dan están crudos por dentro, cuando paran para bañarte tienen un tobogán no tienen ni escaleras para subir con lo cual es muy demasiado incómodo si vas con niño como con adulto !!

Very disappointing. Their massive catamaran with dozens of tourists disturbed a group of pilot whales, causing visible stress and splitting the group. Maxicat does not possess the license from the Spanish Ministry for the Environment and is not listed among the recognised responsible whale watching operators in Tenerife. Avoid if you care about marine life.

This was a great afternoon, well worth doing.The sights of pilot whales were incredible and so close and the staff, very professional and very helpful. Food & drink very good, really enjoyed ourselves. The swim stop was fun and the waves too! Would highly recommend.

Lost 90€. ES: Nos dieron algo completamente equivocado. Se dece que no hay tanta gente y que había más de 100 personas, por lo que no nos subimos al barco. Desporgué la tarjeta donde la habíamos comprado. Un verdadero horror en relación con todas las demás actividades y paseos en barco. EN: We were turned on something completely wrong. It was said there are not so many people and there were over 100 people there, which is why we did not get on the boat. I put the card where we bought it. A true horror in relation to all other activities and boat tours.

La tripulación muy amable, pero solo le dedicaron 10 minutos al avistamiento de cetáceos y desde bastante distancia. A mi personalmente me decepcionó porque era la parte que más me interesaba de la experiencia. Otras personas comentaban lo mismo. Otros catamaranes estuvieron más tiempo. Un poco triste.

A great day, saw dolphins and Whales. Thought very good value for money, would book on their website as it is slightly cheaper. Food and drink offering was basic, but good. Would’ve liked the ability to have our photographs emailed to us (would’ve happily paid €10 for this) A great day out for us and our two adults children

The whales were amazing and the swim lovely. However my Son had to go with out food as they had given the children’s meals to those that should have been having adult meals and therefor ran out of food for him and another young lady on the trip.

Experiencia maravillosa, pudimos ver cetáceos muy de cerca la verdad, la tripulación super amable, sobre todo Laura, fuimos los únicos españoles en todo el barco y nos trataron de lujo, y el baño en unas aguas cristalinas rodeados de muchos peces.

Experiencia decepcionante. Éramos aproximadamente 100 personas a bordo y muchos tuvimos que viajar sentados en el suelo por falta de asientos, lo cual no fue nada cómodo. Además, la comida incluida fue muy escasa: recibí solo 4 nuggets y unas pocas papas fritas. Sinceramente, no recomiendo este servicio. Creo que no vale lo que cuesta y pienso presentar una reclamación tras esta experiencia.

Had a great day out with my family staff were very helpful and pleasant. See lots of whales. Good time for a swim in the sea the lunch was very nice and drinks were available throughout. 2 small negatives but not enough to make it less than a 5 star trip. We tried to buy ice creams for the kids but they only had taken around a box of 12 cornettos for 100 passengers. Our 2, 15 year old kids were not allowed to get the kids nuggets and chips for lunch as they were over 12 years old. All in all great trip and very well managed.

I don't recomend that company. We bought the ticket for boat cruise from Costa Adeje Tenerife.It occured just before onboarding sellers that we are not on the list of passengers.The maxicat representatives/crew members wasn't carry about that and didn't allow us join the trip. There wasn't any afford from the company to contanct with the seller and clarify that situation. We are very disapointed about lack of reaction from the maxicat representive. It looks like the boat company doesnt have any control on private trip sellers.We felt tricked. Fortunatelly arranged another boat in a other company but on our own (without their help).

Just fantastic.. very easy on and off for swimming, crew were friendly and felt at ease , great value, as we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, which I think is a big plus for making the day stress free. we saw a pilot whale's and a Hammerhead shark on our tour! all had the best time!

Such a great trip today, we saw pilot whales and bottle nose dolphins. The Captain and Crew were so lovely and really looked after everyone that was poorly - it was quite a choppy day!!! Lunch was chicken nuggets and chips for the kids, paella and bread for the adults. Plenty of drinks available. Pickup was efficient in a lovely air conditioned coach. Would highly recommend to anyone. We had 4 adults, a 5, 4 & 3 year old.

We went on the boat trip, we really enjoyed it. We saw bottle nose dolphins and pilot whales which came close enough to take pictures and videos. I would do it again for sure. The crew were also very informative and brought humour also.

We were mis-sold by the agency. The boat we were on didn’t have any sunbeds, and it was overcrowded with families and children—definitely not the relaxing experience we were expecting. We asked if we could change boats, upgrade, or even pay extra for a different option, but none of that was possible. That said, the actual tour itself was great and well-organized.

I personally didn’t have a good experience. Whales were far away and only limited time. Food was bad. Catamaran was crowded, children and adults were puking all over. I won’t repeat.

We had a fantastic time on our catamaran trip which was well organised. It was great value for money as food, drink and the transfer are included and the trip wasn’t over crowded. The food was really nice and the crew were all friendly with just the right amount of commentary by Gabriel. The swim stop was just the right length of time and the highlight was definitely the amount of whales we got to see, although this isn’t guaranteed we were privileged to see multiple whales at more than one stop and seeing them so calm in their natural habitat was amazing.

Ya habiamos vivido esta experiencia, pero escogimos vivirla con unos familiares que nos visitaban y una vez mas nos somprendieron!! El paseo espectacular, la comida nos gustó mucho y la atención tanto para la gestión como en el barco, excelente!! Volveremos a repetir sin duda. Un fuerte abrazo para la familia Maxicat👏👏👏✌️

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with the Maxi catamaran in Tenerife was truly disappointing and deserves to be addressed. The crew was shockingly rude throughout the trip. From the very beginning, they acted as if doing their job was a burden. What was even more disturbing was the obvious gender-based favoritism: female guests were treated noticeably better – allowed to eat and drink more, while male guests were ignored or even reprimanded for asking for the same things. In addition, the crew themselves were openly smoking during the trip, yet when a guest lit an IQOS or a cigarette, they reacted aggressively – walking over in a confrontational manner, speaking rudely, and acting as if they were ready to start a fight. This double standard was completely unprofessional and made the whole atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. What should have been a relaxing and fun experience on the water turned into an unpleasant few hours filled with disrespect and bias. I do not recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fair and friendly excursion in Tenerife. There are many better alternatives on the island where you’re treated with basic decency and respect.

We had a great time as a family of 4, the transfers were on time & seamless. We saw some incredible whales that came really close to our boat. The staff were amazing & the lunch of Paella & fresh bread, was beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely refreshing swim in the sea before returning back to the harbour. Highly recommend this excursion & we found it to be good value for our money. Our teenagers wanted to do the trip again but we ran out of time.

Premettendo che abbiamo dovuto attendere un infinità sotto il sole in fila. Servizio pessimo! Personale non chiaro nelle informazioni, capitano del catamarano arrogante e presuntuoso. Abbiamo pagato 35€ con la promessa di una sosta su una spiaggia vicino e il pranzo, il pranzo prevedeva soltanto la paella con il pollo a cui ero allergica e avevo chiesto gentilmente se mi davano semplicemente un pugno di patatine, ma così non è stato poiché il capitano poco gentilmente mi ha urlato che le patatine erano solo per i bambini! dopo averle contaminate, mi ha portato il piattino, ma ormai io non le potevo più mangiare. Inoltre all inizio della navigazione mi avvicino chiedendo se parlasse italiano e lui con fare arrogante mi risponde dicendomi: SEI IN SPAGNA E SI PARLA SPAGNOLO PERCHÉ QUANDO IO VENGO IN ITALIA VOI PRETENDETE CHE IO PARLI ITALIANO. L ho guardato incredula poiché lo spagnolo lo capisco se parlato lentamente e me ne sono andata al mio posto. Mai più!

Amazing experience getting to see the whales and a quick swim in the sea! Definitely recommend this and we will be back again!

Our family booked the 3 hour trip. It was amazing!!+ We saw 3 different whale groups up close. Stopped for food and a swim anf sae the coastal sights. Food was lovely and warm. The drinks are included also great. Our captain and crew were also just fantastic. Professional, fun passionate.... My son felt extra special getting a chance to steer the boat and sit in the captains seat... made his day. So thank you for a brilliant trip.

Muy mal organizado, estuvimos al sol desde la 13:00 que salia el catamaran hasta las 13:45 ,, muchisima gente para los 2 catamaranes ,, casi sin sitio no recomiendo esta empresa

Fue genial, una experiencia muy chula en la que te dan comida y bebida (en nuestro caso paella, nuggets y patatas, además de bebida ilimitada). La tripulación muy amable y simpática. Dura unas 3 horas o así y ves cetáceos, nosotros solo vimos ballenas porque no te aseguran ver todos los animales, como es evidente. Y cuando echan el ancla para que te bañes también mola un montón. La verdad que una experiencia 10/10. Muy contentos, pasas un día diferente. Además van preparados por si alguien se marea, o cualquier cosa.

Op zich een leuke boottocht, maar het het gebeuren er rond is zeer commercieel. Je wordt opgepikt met een busje, dient eerst heel wat hotels te doen waardoor je 1u20! In de bus zit richting haven. Bij aankomst stond er al een grote wachtrij voor toegang tot de boot. Ze proberen zoveel mogelijk volk op de boot te krijgen.. Er staat ook een fotograaf als je de boot betreed. Als je beleeft zegt, dat je geen foto hoeft. Krijg je een " boze en verontwaardigd " fotograaf. ( je kan nadien de foto kopen voor 10 euro) Tijdens de tocht wel goede uitleg gehad en walvissen en dolfijnen gespot. Drinken en eten was inbegrepen. Kwaliteit van de frietjes en kipnuggets was zeer ondermaats. Bij aankomst in de haven, stonden ze klaar met de fooienpot en werd je terug naar de bus geleid. Onze bus was er nog niet en we hebben 15 minuten moeten wachten. De andere bus vertrok gewoon. Buschauffeur was ook zeer kort. Ik zou persoonlijke niet meer voor deze trip kiezen.

There was a lot of people on the boat and somone didn't even had a chance to make a picture of the whales because there was no space but besides that it was a nice trip.

Had a great time on the Maxicat tour. I didn’t have high hopes to see as many whales as we did but it was amazing ❤️. So glad we decided to do it! Xxx

Very good boat trip. One thing though, don’t advertise you accept cash and card, if you’re payment guy is going to make you feel shit for paying card. I understand cash is favoured however, not everyone has the specific EXACT amount so either carry change, or don’t say you accept card if you don’t want people using it. Telling us he is putting prices up because of people like us and it’s a joke ect and getting quite rude and aggressive with it . Started the trip a little bit annoyed due to the way we were spoken to. The confirmation states cash and card and he was adamant it didn’t despite us literally showing him the confirmation. He was also walking around with a card machine so surely that tells that they do accept it ? The boat trip itself was lovely, apart from sea sickness amongst others but that cannot be helped. Lovely sea stop to swim and have something to eat. Music on the boat was nice! Staff on board seemed nice and friendly.

Probably one of the worst boat trips I’ve been on Choice of drinks was poor, staff interaction with guests was non existent and food wasn’t great tbh think a lot of improvement is needed

we had to que for a while before loading on the boat, it was very hot & everyone was waiting to get on the boat, but to all of our surprise they made us wait longer to take photos of each person/family before we were able to get on the boat in the blistering heat! purely to make more money for there photo selling opportunity shameful! Also i informed them of my daughters dairy allergy for lunch, and when it was lunch time the staff wasn’t aware of this which shows bad communication, so she couldn’t eat hardly anything i would not recommend this Trip purely on our experience

Впервые морская прогулка стала для нас ужасом! Очень неудобные сидения, перпендикулярно ходу судна (сидеть всю дорогу с повернутой головой и коленями упираясь в соседа напротив), орёт прямо в ухо музыка все три часа (только когда появившись киты, то выключили), люди как кильки в банке полно друг к другу сидят (лежаков нет), качество пассажиров +-120, на бору курят, некоторые с шампанским отдыхали достаточно громко. Все это не запрещено и не выделены специальные места для курения. Паэлья самая невкусная из того, что пробовали в Испании. Сухой рис с кусочками курицы пересушенной. Кола разбавлена водой с сахаром. Если хотите впечатлений приятных от морской прогулки, то лучше немного доплатить и ехать индивидуально или с малым количеством людей на другой лодке поменьше. Китов таки посчастливилось увидеть. Это порадовало, но не смогло перечеркнуть всех негативных впечатлений от всего остального. Нас было четверо. Мы остались очень разочарованы и недовольны ни сервисом, ни качеством экскурсии. Не рекомендую!

A fost o experiență deosebită, atât plimbarea cu barca, vizitarea unor locuri deosebite: am văzut zona balenelor, o plajă frumoasă unde ne-am putut bucura de apă și unde am înotat în jurul vasului, etc. Personalul vasului a fost foarte amabil și ne-a creat o atmosferă plăcută și au pregătit o surpriză plăcută pentru a sărbători ziua de naștere a soției! Foarte frumos!!! 🎉🍾 Felicitări!!! 🙏

We loved the trip. A few of us struggled with feeling a bit sea sick, but the staff were straight there to help with cold towels and water. They even went along closer to shore to help everyone that felt off in less wavy water. The food was great, some lovely chicken paella and a bread roll. Chicken nugget and chips for the kids. We saw some pilot whales (a bit like dolphins) amazing swimming near the boat and when we stopped near the shore for a swim the snorkel goggles we bought were great to see all the fish. The water was around 23. They cannot provide life vests which is understandable with currents taking people away so they had a rope and rings for people to hold onto. Highly recommend and we cannot praise the staff enough.

Bellissima esperienza con avvistamento. Abbiamo passato 3 belle ore tra avvistamento, pranzo, bagno entrata ed uscita dal porto. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo, cordiale e molto servizievole. Il capitano è stato Top, mostrandoci il gruppo di delfini in tutta la sua bellezza. Consigliatissima.

Balade en bateau sympa, par contre très déçu car il y avait indiqué que les éléments aurait une traduction en français mais absolument pas, nous n'avons du coup pas compris les instructions indiqué à bord.

Es war sehr schön und sehr respektvoll der Natur und den Tieren gegenüber. Sie machten sogar die Musik aus ,während wir uns Walen genähert hatten, holten Müll aus dem Meer, das Essen war sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch super freundlich. Würden wir genau so wieder buchen

el servicio es increíble, todo el tiempo atentos y muy amables, se pueden ver ballenas fácilmente, la comida está bien. La tripulación respetuosa con el mar, se pararon 2 veces a recoger bolsas y plásticos. Muy relajante!

Absolutely fabulous experience. Professional friendly knowledgeable crew. Big clean catamaran. Seamless from start to finish. Coach pick up from outside our hotel to harbour then back again at end. Felt so lucky to see so many dolphins 🐬 then we went further out and saw lots of whales, one even swam under the boat! After lunch was served there was a stop off near a cove for some swimming before heading back. Best 3 hours! Highly recommend

Such a lovely boat trip. We managed to see dolphins and a huge amount of whales really close up! We chose the 3hr trip and it’s just the right amount of time without the kids getting bored. Lots of shade on the boat if you didn’t want to be in the direct sun. Boat stop for swimming was a little choppy and I think it would be great if they’d have supplied pool noodles for a bit of extra confidence for the kids. Food was great paella for the adults and good old chicken nuggets for the little ones and unlimited drinks. Staff we do friendly and caring, they could tell my little one was feeling a bit sea sick and checked on us and provided a bag and a cold compress for the back of his neck which really helped. Would definitely go again. Photographer was also a really lovely bloke and so friendly - plus not pushy about buying the pics which is a first and really made me actually want to buy them. Thank you we loved it 🩷

Had an absolutely fab day the crew were fantastic. The food was lovely. We saw dolphins and we saw sharks and we went swimming in the ocean. What more can you ask for?

Boat on this day was not too busy so plenty of room. Done freebird last year and had to pay for beds, this was not explained when booking. No extra cost here crew where great got to see dolphins and whales. Plenty of food and drinks. Would do it again next time I'm in tenerife

Ottima esperienza consigliata a tutti, staff molto gentile e professionale, pur essendo gli unici 3 italiani su più di 50 persone ci hanno sempre tradotto anche per noi, abbiamo visto 3/4 gruppi di balene, il cibo offerto era molto meglio di quello che avrei immaginato, lo consiglio vivamente.

This Maxicat boat trip was an amazing experience! This is our third visit on this boat in last ten years and we are never disappointed. The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning views of the coastline. The captain and crew go out of their way to endeavour to find natural marine life including whales, dolphins and are very knowledgeable and respectful of the marines life. We enjoyed swimming in the sea The food was delicious, especially the chicken paella and the drinks are always available. The crew was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. It was definitely worth the money and a fantastic way to see the amazing marina wildlife and and the coast line of Tenerife. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It was a great experience, and at a very reasonable price we have been on more expensive boats which were overcrowded and just served dry sandwich and one drink Looking forward to our next visit

Went on the MaxiCat whale & Dolphin trip today & thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it from start to finish. Our 2nd year of doing this trip & it's amazing to see them in their natural habitat. A highly recommended trip

Merci pour cette sortie où nous avons pu voir les dauphins 🐬et les baleines. C'est un bon prix pour la sortie par contre déception concernant le repas, une paella qui n'a rien d'une paella. Peut être voir pour du chorizo ou du saucisson avec chips à la place mais certainement que ce n'est pas évident avec les personnes allergiques ou vegan ou végétariennes.

Highly recommend going during off season as it was busy in June, the crew were very caring and brought in humour for family friendly experience, very informative of rules and taught us information about the whales. The food on board was delicious, paella with olives and even offered chicken nuggets and chips for kids. Options of water, fizzy drinks and sangria and beer, even had ice cream on board. They allowed a swimming experience but it lasted about 40 minutes at least. Highly recommend bring towel, suncream, swimsuit and overalls as ocean UV is high if wish to relax on deck

Sehr nettes und kompetentes Termin. Die Umgang mit den Tieren erfolgte respektvoll und mit dem notwendigen Abstand. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Umfangreiche Getränke und ein leckeres Essen mit kleinen süßem Dessert, rundete die kulinarische Verpflegung ab. Wir können nur 100% Empfehlung aussprechen. Gerne jederzeit wieder. The crew of the boat,GabrielLaura and captain Cristobal were very professional,kind and offering a lot of details about the trip itself and they were making sure that we are going to have a lovely experience. Es war ein perfekter, wunderschöner Trip mit dem Katamaran, um Delfine zu beobachten, leckeres Essen zu genießen, schwimmen zu gehen und die Brise und die schöne Landschaft vom Meer aus zu genießen. Alles war super organisiert, die Mitarbeiter sehr, sehr freundlich, Rundum gelungen und preislich wirklich günstig, vor allem, wenn man es vor Ort bucht.

Wir hatten in Adeje in einem Büro diesen Trip am Vormittag gebucht und waren am Ende sehr begeistert! Der Katamaran ist nicht so riesig wie die von Freebird, was wir als Vorteil erachten (weniger Passagiere, "familiärer" und vor allem wendiger. Die Crew war super nett, verbreitete gute Stimmung und gab hilfreiche Infos auf Spanisch und Englisch. Wir hatten das "Glück" (laut Crew 90% Chance), schon nach 20 Minuten Delfine zu sehen. Der Kapitän steuerte dabei sehr geschickt an die Wale heran. Alle Getränke (Sprite, Fanta Wasser, Bier, Sangria) und Essen (Paella mit Fleisch, Pommes und Chicken Nuggets für die Kids) waren im Preis von 35 Euro beinhaltet und völlig ausreichend. Zum Schluss noch Ankern vor der Küste mit Bademöglichkeit inkl. diverser Fische unter Wasser ... Dann ging es zurück. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und für diesen Preis einfach Topp!

Had a great trip with Gabriel and the crew. Picked up and dropped off, saw loads of short fin pilot whales, very, very close to the boat. Boat never felt overcrowded and sea swim stop was included. Unlimited soft drinks, water, beer and sangria. Rice, chicken & veg with a bread roll for lunch. Nuggets and chips for kids and rice & veg for vegetarians. With local desert (cookie dough type texture). Photos taken on board are 10 euros each and can buy cornettos for 2.5 euro each. Would really recommend this to all, can't believe it's only 35 euro per adult, fantastic value for money

Die Crew an Board war sehr freundlich, lustig und konnten viel über die Umgebung erzählen. Die Getränke waren kostenlos und es gab leckeres Essen. Das einzige, was uns gestört hat, war das Personal unten. Sie waren relativ unfreundlich und redeten ziemlich respektlos mit uns. Ansonsten war es eine sehr schöne und lustige Erfahrung

We did the 3 hour whale watching catamaran cruise today and had a fabulous time. The crew were attentive, informative about the wildlife and made sure everyone was happy and well looked after on the trip with lovely paella, unlimited drinks and their good care and attention when our daughter was in discomfort after swimming in the sea. They were so caring and friendly. Only downside were the chicken nuggets with the children's meals were not very good but overall we enjoyed the whole trip and are glad we booked this trip and would 100% do it again

Amazing experience with Maxicat. We left at 10am and basically had a full two hours of whale and dolphin watching, followed by a hour of swimming and eating. The catamaran was nice and spacious with lots of excellent viewing points. Had an excellent meal on board which was included in the price. It was an open bar for the entire time! The crew were fantastic as well, all professional, informative and very friendly. Will use again when we return to Tenerife.

Une belle expedition maritime. L equipage est tres accueillante et sympathique. Pour chiller seul ou a plusieurs rien de tel, surtout si les animaux marins se presentent à vous. C est le cadeau en plus, et pour se consoler de ne pas en avoir vu y a tjrs la baignade avec les poissons 😉. Si vous ne savez pas quoi faire, prenez votre place avec MAXICAT, et vous serait MAXI CONTENT de l experience vécu !

Good trip, good food and saw whales. The boat was great but felt a bit overcrowded to get access to the bar to get our unlimited drink allowance and had to wait a long time to get on and then this made the trip shorter by half an hour. Still a good trip though

Es war ein wunderschöner Ausflug. Wir haben Wale und Delfine gesehen. Das junge Team von der Crew war supernett. Der Zwischenstopp in der Bucht zum Essen und Baden war superschön mit herrlichem Blick auf die Berge und die Küste. Einfach traumhaft. Ich würde dieses Ausflug auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Danke nochmal an die Crew, you did a good job.

Sehr nett und sehr bemüht, haben wirklich Delphine zu sehen bekommen, der Kapitän fuhr wirklich so lange bis er welche fand.

Hicimos el crucero de ballenas y delfines con comida y recogida. Nos lo pasamos muy bien y tuvimos mucha suerte porque hizo un día maravilloso y la verdad que vimos muchas ballenas piloto, fue increíble! Se acercaban al catamarán y pudimos disfrutar de ellas un buen rato. La tripulación: Alessia, Cristóbal, Rubén y Ubay súper simpáticos, respondieron todas nuestras preguntas y estuvieron pendientes de la tripulación en todo momento. Aconsejo tomar biodramina si pensáis que os vais a marear

We really enjoyed this trip. Maxicat use a smaller catamaran compared to some of the other companies. The crew were friendly and welcoming. We had a meal of savoury rice and as many soft drinks, sangria and beer as you wanted. The only thing you paid for was ice cream. We saw many pilot whales and we were so close you could hear them. What an amazing experience. Well worth doing.

Si quieres disfrutar de una excelente experiencia MEXICAT es la opción para avistar Ballenas y Delfines en las costas de Tenerife, Costa Adeje, lo primero es señalar el cuidado que se tiene para no molestar a los animales manteniendo una distancia prudencial, el personal de abordo super atento, interactuando en todo momento. Se puede hacer reserva online, por lo que puede ser una opción si estás en la playa y quieres vivir esta experiencia a última hora. Te sugiero usar protección solar si quieres vivir la experiencia en la parte frontal de la embarcación al aire libre, hay zona techada. el recorrido es de tres horas e incluye bebidas, comida y un chapuzón en una cala, así que bañador a bordo!!! Se admiten sillas de rueda y coches para bebé.

We went on the trip yesterday with our two kids (4 and 1 year old), and the staff (Gabriel, Cristobal and Maria) was amazing from start to finish — from bringing drinks to explaining the nature and the island, and making sure everyone was having a great time. The captain even let my son sit in his seat and announce to everyone that we had a new captain on board, which was such a sweet moment. We were lucky to see a family of pilot whales (no dolphins, unfortunately). The boat was comfortable, and I really appreciated that they didn’t overcrowd it — two separate catamarans with a reasonable number of people left from the same company. I’m not giving 5 stars only because the food could have been better: we were served a kind of paella, with nuggets and fries for the kids, and a local dessert.

Cristóbal, María y Gaby, son personas súper atentas, con un respeto al mar, que evoca en el turista la misma emoción y admiración. Una experiencia necesaria de vivir una vez en la vida. La comida es mejorable, pero se agradece que sean productos de kilómetro cero.

Whale watching in Tenerife was good but in my opinion is not the best thing to start distribute lunch before the possibility to have a bath in the ocean and when the catamaran is still moving fast. Moreover, the food should be distributed until the end of the experience to allow all the participants to eat, also those who don't feel safe to eat when the catamaran is still moving fast. The best thing is to start to distribute lunch when the catamaran is anchored in the place where people can have the bath in the ocean.

A diferencia de otros que hemos hecho, fueron muy respetuosos con los animales, manteniendo una distancia adecuada para que podamos verlos de cerca sin invadirlos, y supieron contener al publico para que no hiciesen ruido y mantuvieran la calma cerca de ellos. Met 4 personen meegegaan op een catamaran van Maxicat om walvissen te spotten bij Tenerife. Het was een geslaagde middag! We hadden de tocht bij ons hotel geboekt, alles was goed geregeld, busreis heen en terug van het hotel naar de haven, all incusive eten en drinken, vriendelijk personeel, duidelijke en leerzame uitleg tijdens het varen, goede plaatsen op de catamaran, er was nog tijd om te zwemmen en we hadden het geluk om een om een paar walvissen te spotten.

Large catamaran, really attentive & kind crew. Offering cold compresses, tissues, sick bags if you felt sea sick. Plenty of food, drinks for all on board. We saw many whales & dolphins. Lovely swimming spot off La Caleta. Informative about the landmarks etc. Unfortunately on our particular day it was a bit choppy at times. But it did not spoil a great family day out. Don’t sit up front if you don’t want to get wet. And if you don’t have sea legs maybe take Sea Legs or something before hand. And it can be breezy so maybe bring a jumper etc.

É stata una bella gita. Siamo usciti dal porto e in 30 minuti abbiamo visto un branco di balene pilota, che sono piccole balene che dormono di giorno e stanno in gruppo. Sonia dell’equipaggio ci ha raccontato un po’ di cose su queste balene. Mare un po’ mosso ma il catamarano cavalca bene le onde. Poi abbiamo raggiunto la costa, hanno servito il pranzo e il bere, chi voleva ha fatto il bagno in una caletta e abbiamo visto varie spiagge. Ci siamo fermati all’ancora per un 30 minuti e poi rientro in porto. Prezzo giusto secondo noi, 38 € a testa. Se soffrite il mare portatevi il Travel Gum comunque, e’ sempre oceano. Gli altri ragazzi dell’equipaggio, Gabriel e Christofer, carini e gentili. Sonia best 😃

Great excursion to see whales and dolphins up close. The boat travelled at a leisurely pace and we spent plenty of time observing whales and dolphins. We then had plenty of time to swim and eat. The food was basic but nice. All refreshments were free. The boat was clean and not overcrowded. The crew were helpful, friendly and attentive. A great 3 hour trip.

Today we have been out on the boat with Sonya, Diego, Max and Christopher to see dolphins and whales. All of the crew were very friendly and helpful. We had unlimited drinks and food available. The crew took family photos before the boat set off and these were available to purchase at a very reasonable price. We were given the opportunity to dive into the sea and swim begind the boat once anchored. Max made an entrance to remember, he came by on another boat whilst we swam and jumped aboard. The staff were brilliant with the children, even allowing them to sot and have a photo on the captains chair. Overall were really impressed with the cost with all that is involved. Weve had a day to remember. Thank you all.

What a brilliant experience! We went on quite a rough day and weather wasn't fantastic, but it didn't matter too much at all. The crew were brilliant and attentive and determined to find whales and dolphins (which they did) despite the challenging conditions. Food and drinks were excellent and the boat was really clean. Really nice stop in a sheltered bay for a swim. Highly recommend!

(tengeribetegségem volt, es mivel rajtam kivul magyon sokan rosszul voltwk ezt lehetne jobban hangsúlyozni mert en peldwul nem tudtam hogy nem birom de nem is hívták rá fel kellőképpen a figyelmet valamint a roddzul levőkkel senki sem foglalkozott csak egy hányás zacskót lehetett elvenni amiert en oda se tudtam menni annyira vacakul voltam), ráadásul ki találták hogy érkezési sorremdbe szállhatunk fel amit nem értettünk hiszen az ő buszukkal mentünk és nem rajtunk múlt hogy mire értünk oda. Utolsok között szálhattunk fel így csak a földre ülhettünk... Számomra nagyon rossz élmény volt az egész ami csak a pénzről szól. 1 csillagot se adnék

En général c'était sympa mais quelques points moins positifs qui ont rend note finale si basse: Il avait un groupe scolaire qui allait faire le bateaux, les guides avaient donné l'impression qu'il fallait les suivre, donc on a suivi ce groupe. Après quelques longues minutes à faire la queue, le guide revient et dit que c'était pas là la bonne queue, que pour ceux qui était dehors le group c'était une autre (littéralement "il faut pas suivre tout le monde comme ça" sur un ton méprisant), donc moi et un groupe des gens on a dû aller refaire l'autre queue, tout à la fin et on est entrés en dernier alors que nous n'étions pas arrivés les derniers. Pendant la voyage il a eu une situation lamentable d'un monsieur qui faisait des photos sans le consentement des femmes en maillot de bain, le capitaine et/ou l'équipage n'ont pas géré la situation de la meilleur façon. Je peux comprendre que c'est délicat de gérer une situation pareille, mais cela a cassé un peu l'ambiance générale. Le temps de voyage n'était pas de 3h comme annoncé. Cependant tout n'était pas mauvais, je veux parler des points positifs du voyage: On a tout à fait vu des baleines et c'était excellent de voir que l'équipage a demandé à tous du silence pour laisser la vie sauvage faire sa vie, en même temps que les moteurs on était éteints pour ne pas faire de bruit, clairement l'équipage a du respect pour la nature, bravo. Et ils étaient agréables avec les passagers si on omet l'incident.

The catamaran was so full you couldn’t comfortably sit anywhere. About 10mins after take off we were informed there should be max 5 people on the net so we had to sit on the hard wood floor. They take you to one place for about 15 mins to watch the dolphins, not whales. Then to a different place to jump in and swim for about 30mins. Then there’s food, I had rice with veg and chicken and a roll which was fine, very basic. There was also some chicken nuggets and chips. The only good thing is that you get unlimited beer and sangria(I only got the beer so can’t comment on sangria) You need to go down the ladder to get to the toilets so might be an issue for some people. If you’re going in winter months(we went in March) then there’s a high chance it’ll be very windy unless you get better weather than we did. I had a jumper and covered myself in towels as it was so windy that day. I’ve been on a few boats/catamarans and this was the worst, I would recommend choosing something else.

Fuí este domingo día 1 de septiembre y la experiencia sinceramente no la recomiendo. El catamarán llegó con media hora de retraso por que estaba averiado pero esa media hora que me quitaron de experiencia no nos la devolvieron, saliendo a las 16:30 (dejando a muchísima gente en Puerto porque el nuevo catamarán no tenía la misma capacidad) y llegando a las 19, entiendo que es una avería y son cosas que pueden pasar pero pagué por ese tiempo y deberían de haber finalizado media hora después, la comida mejor no mencionarla pero lamentable, tinto de verano de bote. En fin esto es una actividad para turistas, enfocada por y para ellos.

Gebruik gemaakt van de diensten van Maxicat. Een geweldige trip welke geheel werd verzorgt. Vriendelijke bemanning / medewerkers, alle beloftes werden ruimschoots nagekomen. Als klap op de vuurpijl ook walrussen en dolfijnen gespot! De Cathamaran biedt plaats voor 102 opvarenden, gelukkig was deze trip niet volgeboekt en waren er 40 personen aan boord. De catering was prima, cola, fanta, sangria en bier is meer aanmaak limonade, de Spaanse paella met kip smaakte prima. Voor de kinderen friet en kipnuggets. Heerlijk weer, niet al te veel wind maakten dat het een heerlijke trip is geworden! Een aanrader, leuke excursie voor een nette prijs. Ik heb deze tocht begin maart 2025 gedaan.

La experiencia fue muy positiva. El personal fue muy amable y atento en todo momento, fuimos a buscar ballenas y delfines y nos explicaron sobre cada cetáceo que vimos. Pusieron música y nos iban diciendo hacia donde nos dirigíamos. Llegamos hasta la playa de Diego Hernández y repartieron la comida e hicimos una parada para el baño. La comida estaba buena a excepción de las papas fritas que estaban demasiado secas. Al arroz le faltaba sal pero tenían sobres para que se la pusieras tu mismo a tu gusto. Aparte del arroz amarillo con pollo y verduras tienen arroz blanco, y tambien champiñones que estaban muy buenos. A mitad del viaje te venden las fotos que te hacen al subir al barco, un poco caras pero no es obligatorio comprarlas (10€ por 1 foto y 15€ por 2). Y al finalizar la experiencia piden propinas. Como crítica constructiva yo diría que deberían llevar a menos personas por viaje ya que las bebidas y la comida tienes que buscarla tu mismo a la barra que está en el centro del catamaran y con tanta gente y el movimiento del mar es difícil moverse sin caerse con el plato o vaso en las manos.

Tökéletesen elégedettek vagyunk. A legfőbb szempont természetesen az, hogy láthattunk bálnákat és delfineket is. A túra során kiemelten ügyelnek arra, hogy ne zavarjuk vagy ijesszük meg az állatokat, illetve a környezetvédelmi szempontokat is hangsúlyozzák (pl. ne használj el 10 papír poharat az út során). A kirándulás egy kb. fél órás ráhangolódással, tájékoztatással kezdődik. Ezután kihajóztunk, indulhatott a bálna és delfin keresés. Elég gyorsan meg is találtuk és volt bőven idő megnézni őket, többször nagyon közel voltak a hajókhoz. Ezután egy öbölbe hajóztunk, ahol lehetőség volt egy gyors (kb. 15-20 perc volt) csobbanásra annak, aki hozott fürdőruhát. Ezután szolgálták fel az ebédet, ami kifejezetten ízletes volt: a felnőtteknek zöldséges-rizses hús (kb. mint a ludaskása), a gyerekeknek pedig csirke nuggets és sültkrumpli). Italfogyasztás végig ingyenes és korlátlan, az ilyenkor szokásos repertoárral. Van jégkrém is, viszont az fizetős volt, 2.5 euró. A személyzet segítőkész, barátságos volt mindvégig, összességében nagyon jó teljesítményt nyújtottak. Köszönjük a szép utat!

Mixed feelings. Sailing was nice, we were lucky enough to get a spot on the nets, and we did see two groups of pilot whales. That said, we only stayed with them around 15 minutes of the 3 hour tour, and I would have liked to stay with them longer and learn more about them. Instead, almost 2 hours of this trip was sailing to the lunch spot, eating okay quality food, and swimming (though only 3/40 people on our boat had any desire). Would rather have spent my money on a 2 hour boat ride that spent more time on the water with the animals rather than serving lunch, and just head to lunch afterwards.

Holaaa, hemos realizado hoy una excursión de avistamoento de ballenas y ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Y la tripulación estupenda. Súper súper amables

El personal muy agradable, fue una travesia muy divertida donde pudimos ver ballenas piloto y hasta un techo de calamar gigante!!!

Am gasit bilete orin bonosvip, de la 38 la 24 de euro. Ptr copii am luat de la ei cu 15 euro. Am avut noroc si am prins loc pe plasa din fata unde am stat si savurat privelistea si berea binenteles. Am vazut balene mici, personalul a fost prietenos si amiabil. Mancarea ptr adulti a fost decenta, pui cu orez, crochetele de pui pentru copii….ceva ce nu le-as da sa manance copiilor. S-a facut si o pauza de inotat, pentru cine poate face baie in ocean la 20 grade Celsius. In rest totul a fost ok.

Supongo que cada uno vive el viaje dependiendo de la tripulación del barco, del tiempo, de la cantidad de gente que lleve el mismo, etc La verdad es que en nuestro caso lo único que flojeo fue la comida, pero dadas las circunstancias ( el catamarán es lo que es) no le puedes exigir más. Se ven múltiples calderones, merece la pena si consigues un buen precio.

Un paseo que recordarás, tomamos el tour de 3 horas partiendo de Puerto Colón, el ambiente dentro del barco muy agradable, la tripulación muy amable explican sobre el recorrido y los cetáceos que puedes observar al inicio de la travesía y obviamente uso de dispositivos de seguridad. Una vez en el mar tuvimos oportunidad de ver delfines Calderón (muy bonitos), pasado este momento avanzamos y disfrutamos de una comida a bordo (medianamente aceptable en calidad y sabor) luego nos detuvimos frente a una de las mas bonitas del Sur de Tenerife, alli puedes disfrutar de un baño o descansar a bordo, pasado un rato todos a bordo retornamos a puerto. No olvides tu protector solar, toalla y sobre todo buena actitud para disfrutar trayecto.

De tocht viel behoorlijk tegen. We hebben 20 min op de boot moeten wachten. Dit gaat gewoon van de tijd af. De boot was vol, regelmatig werd je aangestoten door mensen die door de smalle paadjes wouden. Uiteindelijk slechts een paar glimpen van de walvissen kunnen vangen. Althans als dit walvissen waren. Er wordt niks verteld over de dieren. Veel rondrennende/springende kinderen. Absoluut niet ontspannend. Eentje moest overgeven. Het eten was heel slecht. Vegetarisch gekozen, maar droge rijst en wat groentes erbij was wel erg zielig. Het toilet is gevuld met urine. Doortrekken kan niet. Heel onhygiënisch. Al met al, zeker niet de moeite waard en zou geen 2e keer met maxicat op reis gaan. Het lef nog om op het einde om fooi te vragen en met een bak bij de uitgang te staan. 1/10

Had a lovely trip with these people. Only thing that stopped us from rating 5/5 is the fact that they try to sell us a picture taken at the start for €10(!), which is already printed out. When trying to pose an example of sustainable tourism, printing pictures of which most will be thrown away right after the trip doesn't seem like a great example to me. Besides that; great trip, friendly people. Would recommend.

Abbiamo dovuto attendere almeno 30 minuti sotto il sole (dopo aver già prenotato e controllato i biglietti) prima di salire a bordo. Servizi offerti come il pranzo e il bere nella norma. Abbiamo visto qualche delfino in lontananza, nessuna balena e non ci è stata data alcuna spiegazione sulla fauna del posto. Nel complesso discreto, ma non particolarmente entusiasmante. Prezzo onesto.

We booked the 3 hours catamaran trip outside the hotel where we were staying. The price was good and included bus and lunch and drinks on board. There was plenty of food (paella, chicken nuggets chips) but there was no fruit afterwards! Not an issue. The crew were great. They always took care on approaching the whales so they were not disturbed. They seemed to be happy to follow us as we sailed the area, slowly. They came very close and we manage to get some stunning pictures. This on its own was worth the price of the excursion. One small downside is the net area works on first come first serve basis, so we had no chance to sit there - and as a result losing on what you would first associate with a catamaran trip. However the spotting of the whales and the friendliness of the staff made it worth every penny and more.

El paseo está muy bien. Vimos unos cetáceos monísimos pero deberían avisar que es posible el mareo y así la gente va preparada así nadie pasa un mal rato ni nos quedamos con una mala experiencia y sin ganas de repetir. Por otra parte, lo peor de todo, la comida. Reseca, sin gusto.

Alles top...sollte man mal keinen Wal oder Delphin sehen, liegt das nicht am Veranstalter...dies gilt ebenso für die Unverträglichkeit beim Boot fahren..!! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen...tolle Erfahrung...das es überhaupt was zu Essen gibt auf solch einer Tour ist schon außergewöhnlich! Wer sich da beschwert, das es nichts vegetarisches gibt, sollte sich sein Essen mitbringen!
