Lamentable el trato del personal del tren!! No tienen ningún tipo consideración con los niños, mucho menos con los adultos, a eso sumarle que le toman del pelo a la gente ya que se le pregunto al conductor del tren cual era su próxima parada y el contesto de muy mala manera que era el fin del mundo y se nos río en la cara. Deberían tener en cuenta que para trabajar de cara al público hay que tener un poco más de empatia y buen humor. No les doy cero estrellas porque no se puede!

Great views however if doing both routes the wait is approx 25 mins in between in hot weather, maybe consider trains every 30 mins?

My wife and I took the Tourist Train today and took advantage of the €14 offer for both of the routes as opposed to €9 for a single route. We both thoroughly enjoyed the trips and saw parts of Tenerife (Adeje and Fãnabé Beach) that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Both drivers, that we met today, were extremely friendly and helpful. Also worth noting that both drivers kept to the times and the trains left and arrived at the correct times. Many thanks Roy and Sarah (From the UK)

Train Torviscas Tenerife has the ingredients to be a fantastic attraction, but at present, it only hits a 4-star mark for us. There's room for improvement that could elevate the experience considerably. Please see this not as criticism, but as suggestions for areas that could make a great local service truly exceptional. One of the most glaring issues is the cash-only policy. We witnessed several disappointed families turned away as they simply didn't have enough cash on hand. In this day and age, not accepting card payments is a major inconvenience and a lost opportunity for the business. The ride itself is a bit rough. The suspension on the train feels a little harsh, making for a rather bumpy journey. While it's a "train," a smoother ride would certainly enhance comfort for all passengers. Another minor frustration was that there's no clear information on the train about where you can stop, and we only discovered the presence of a bell for stops right at the very end of our trip. From a pricing perspective, the current model could be more appealing. A family-priced ticket would undoubtedly attract more visitors, as the individual fares feel rather expensive for what you get. As there's no specific sightseeing commentary or designated points of interest, it's essentially just a ride around the local area. We also noted the current offering of two tours, with a discounted price if purchased together. While this is a good start, it would be even better to have an offer where purchasing the second tour on a different day also comes with a discount. This would provide more flexibility for visitors who might not intend on purchasing both tours, but afterwards wish to. Overall, as adults, we found the experience to be relatively uninteresting. However, it's important to mention that our child thoroughly enjoyed the unique experience of riding the train, which was a definite plus. With some key adjustments to payment options, ride comfort, information provision, and pricing strategy, Train Torviscas Tenerife could transform into a much more valuable and enjoyable attraction for everyone.

It's a nice way to see a bit more of Las Americas and Costa Adeje without having to walk around. You could walk the loop, but if you've got mobility problems or small children it's a nice alternative way of seeing a bit more and having a rest. I'd say the Twin Ticket (both loops) is better value than the Single Loop ticket. There are a few interesting places along the loop you can jump off at. The drivers are really friendly and helpful! The ride is a bit shoogly, the suspension isn't the best, and the roads are quite bumpy at times, I have a back problem so it was a bit uncomfortable at times. Worth taking into account if you're planning to ride and have severe back issues.

Grazie per la gentilezza e la professionalità del servizio. Il treno fa 3 fermate: davanti all hard rock cafe, a colon II e verso gli hotel. Prosegue poi verso l esterno di playa des America per ritornare poi alla prima fermata. È un tour simpatico da fare, specie con bambini. Sarebbe ancora più bello se invece dell’entroterra, passasse sul lungomare ma essendo motorizzato non penso sarà possibile.

Took the little road train from Hard Rock Cafe yesterday evening. A great way to get to know the area. Takes about 45 mins. We left a shopping bag in one of the carriages only realised about 20 mins after we got off. Emailed train company and they checked with driver and he had the bag. Collected this morning. Lovely employees so helpful and honest.

Purtroppo, la nostra esperienza con il trenino turistico è stata deludente. Avevamo programmato di fare il giro per esplorare la città e ci siamo recati alla fermata indicata sul sito web all’orario previsto. Dopo oltre mezz’ora di attesa, però, il trenino non è mai arrivato, senza alcun segnale o aggiornamento. Ci siamo chiesti se il servizio fosse sospeso il sabato, ma il sito ufficiale afferma che il trenino opera tutti i giorni. La mancanza di informazioni chiare ci ha lasciati disorientati e delusi, perché ci sarebbe davvero piaciuto fare questa esperienza. Sarebbe utile per i visitatori aggiornare meglio gli orari e il calendario, magari segnalando eventuali interruzioni del servizio in modo più trasparente.

Vos réponses sur vos avis sont plus rapides que vos trains ! nous sommes partis depuis ce matin 11h30de Fañabé et nous attendons le train du retour , vous répondez que sur les audioguides mets à aucun moment vous ne répondez sur le reste. Si cela fait depuis plus de 30 ans que vous êtes sur le marché permettez-moi de vous dire que vous vous reposez sur vos lauriers.... il y a mieux dans d'autres villes , manque d'information sur les horaires de passages etc... on attend comme des pigeons . Ci dessous mon commentaire original : il y a 53 minutes Horrible !! Je ne recommande pas ce petit train touristique , on a payé 28 euros pour les deux trajets , aucune explication , pas d'audioguide , on respire la pollution , le moteur ne fait que monter dans les tours , de plus entre les 2 parcours il y a une attente de 45 minutes d'attente , ça bouffe toute la journée de faire 15 km ! Ce type d'attraction comme le reste des "attrape touristes" devrait être interdit , n'espérez pas passer dans les grandes villes en longeant la côte car il prend le périphérique où les voitures et camions vous frôlent par ce qu'il roule à 20-25 km/h ( vidéo disponible de ce qui vous attend si vous faites le petit train...) en vous souhaitant bonne chance et bon courage ! Ah oui , pas de plan pour vous dire où vous êtes... An enjoyable way to spend an hour or two away from the beach/pool etc. We did both circular routes (blue and red) taking a break for some lunch at the changeover stop. Recommended.

The train driver was brilliant but it was very expensive for what it is, For a family of 4 was nearly €30 for a small circular drive, you have to pay more to do the other route.

As you will understand, our vehicles drive at a maximum speed of 30 km/h so our customers can enjoy the views, and our tours last around 45-50 min, therefore applying simple mathematics, there is not enough time to see the rest of the island, which is 2034 km² big, we are sorry if you miss expected something wrong from our service.

Absolutely shocking. Stoped to collect us in the boat harbour and then asked where we was going then shrugged his shoulders and drive off There was at least 15 people on the train that saw my kids been very upset as he drove off. My 3 kids was very upset after waiting 20 mins to get on it as we do every year. The driver isn’t suited to the job.

Hi, we talked with the driver and told us it was a missunderstanding, we are the first ones that are happy to do the tour for families like yours, but sometimes drivers don’t speak fluent english and he did not understand that you wanted to hop on the train when he asked where you wanted to go, wanting to know if you wanted to do the Costa Adeje Tour or the Las Americas Tour. Also, the place where you stoped the train is not an official stop, therefore the train stopped but could not wait there for too long. We are sorry for the inconveniences, and we look forward giving ourselves a second chance to do the tour for you! ☺️🚂

A nice little trip for kids and to see the local area 😊 The trip is only 45-50 min. with 2 minor stops on the way. Price: 9€ per adult. Don’t sit to close to the front of the train to avoid diesel fumes.

We took our toddler on this train and experienced nothing but exhaust fumes for the full 45 minutes. Would not recommend, incredibly dangerous. Save the 9 euros per person and don’t risk carbon monoxide poisoning. Flagged it to the driver when leaving who shrugged and said nothing. Should be closed down.

Hi Eric, this weekend due to an event the government organized, the official stops were closed so the train was not allowed to use them and stop as usually, and because of the short notice we did not have time to update it. We always try our best to be on time keep everything updated, but in this case it was something out of our control, therefore we kindly ask you to change or delete the review. I ve don't both the trains in south Tenerife. Enjoy the ride and the views, I only dropped 2 stars because, boy those seats need some padding, killed my back and bottom 😂

Las Americas Tour für einen Preis von 9 € je Erwachsenen / Kinder je 5 €, mit Bargeld kann direkt am Zug bezahlt werden, eine Voraus Buchung war nicht erforderlich. Es wurden Tickets vom Fahrer bei der Bezahlung ausgegeben. Dieser Touristenzug fährt von der Haltestelle vor dem Papagayo Beach Club, dies ist die genaue Adresse: Av. Rafael Puig Lluvina, 2, 38650 Playa de la Américas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Hier steht ein großer Aufsteller auf dem Bürgersteig, täglich und stündlich um jede volle Stunde ab 10:00 bis einschließlich 20:00 Uhr fährt dieser Touristen Zug, von hier für eine Rundtour durch das ebenerdige Las Americas ab. Die Abfahrtsadresse ist an einer belebten Straße, hier befindet sich u.a. ein Mc´Donalds, Adidas und ein Taxistand, wir kamen mit dem Taxi von Fañabe (hier haben wir mit dem 2. Zug auch schon eine Rundfahrt für auch je 9 € gemacht). Es wurden kurze Zwischenstopps gemacht, um einige Fahrgäste aussteigen zu lassen. Die Strecke verlief über belebte Straßen, an großen hohen Hotels, einigen Shops, Pubs und Bars entlang. Wir kamen schon nach ca. 50 Minuten wieder an unserem Ausgangspunkt und Endstation an. Für uns war es mit diesem Touristenzug ein weiterer kurzer Einblick in ein Touristengebiet. Teneriffas, Las Americas ist fast das genaue Gegenteil von Costa Adeje Fañabe, für uns ein interessanter Einblick, den wir gerne mit dem Touristen Zug gemacht haben. Eingeplante kurze Stopps um Fotos zu machen, wären eine Bereicherung für diesen Touristenzug.

Niente di che... Quasi un'oretta di trenino ma nn fa un giro particolare anzi si butta in una strada trafficata. Un percorso che si potrebbe fare anche con il pullman.

The train runs every hour on the hour from the station. Good value for money as circa 9 euro for adult and 5 for children. Good drive round playa de las Américas.

Not that pleasant. Normal I always go on these as you get to see around the place however there was no commentary and the route was pretty basic. The half waypoint where you can drop off was in a back street car park (no one got off) so we stayed on and cut out losses.

Great way to see the resort on a round-trip. Helps you get your bearings early on in a visit to Costa Adeje. Recommend using what’sapp to send them a quick message and they will send you a map to nearest stop for your location.

Also wir haben die Tickets nicht bei der Lock gekauft. Der Fahrer hat unsere Tickets zwar genommen, uns aber trotz Nachfrage keine entwerteten Ticket zurück gegeben damit wir nach einem Stopp später wieder einsteigen können.

If your idea of fun is being taken alongside a dual carriage way, dragged by diesel chugging "engine", to visit places accessible on foot or by public transport, go for it. It's one of those experiences, like a proctology exam, that I'd not care to repeat.

Nice ride, got on at Las Americas as was expecting to go along to Costa Adeje and Fanabe, but instead it turned right and went the opposite way, past Magma - up towards the motorway and into Los Cristianos towards the port. Didn't see a lot of the sea as it was mainly on town roads.

Hi Silver, thank you for sharing your opinion, unfortunately, when there is a car accident, the traffic is something we can’t always control, even so, the tour is always minimum 40 minutes long, and specially if there is traffic, as you said, it’s always a bit longer to compensate the inconveniences and still always complete the whole tour.

Echt de moeite niet. Na kwartier stilstaan mag je gedurende 40 minuten rondrijden op drukke wegen met veel verkeer en mag je genieten van de uitlaat van de trein. Onderweg niets toeristisch te zien. Beter met die 9€ een goeie pint gaan drinken.

Hola Silvia, sentimos que haya malinterpretado de primeras el tipo de tour que ofrecemos, en ningún momento se especifica que sea guiado con explicaciones, a la vez que las zonas que visitamos en Las Américas y Costa Adeje son las más turísticas de Canarias, sentimos que no se lo haya parecido, un saludo. 🚂

No merece nada la pena 9€ para no ver nada y además no te explican nada de por donde vas. Mejor cogerse una guagua y das una vuelta. El hombre del tren muy simpatico

Obwohl ich kein Freund von E-Mobility bin, sollten die "Züge" auf Elektro geändert werden, da die ständigen Diesel Abgase Recht unangenehm sind. Ansonsten aber eine schöne und lohnenswerte Tour.

Really nice experience, the tour takes ~ 45 mins. It’s a good way to explore costa adeje with kids. Right before the end you will enjoy a beautiful view from the top of the hill over the bay of Fañabe. It’s worth it 100%

Doesn't say on the website you only take cash. Doesn't pick up from where it says on the website in Americas so unless you ring or do live chat you will be in the wrong place. They don't reply to emails

About the website, we have checked it in case there was any mistake of the address of the stops but everything looked correct. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the tour itself. We wanted to take this trip round Fanabe. The tour guide for playa America’s said it picked up from harbour 15 minute walk. We walked and arrived, lots of different people told us where it picked up from but no signage - we waited an hour but it did not show, website had no details of stops or times only the official stop at GF Fanabe. Disappointed we walked back. Edit after response from company: It was definitely your tour guide that told us the train left from the harbour, he was driving the train of your playa Americas tour train.

Mi hijo de 7 años y yo fuimos a dar una vuelta en el tren al atardecer y fue una experiencia mágica, pudimos conocer el sur de Tenerife cómodamente y pasando por lugares que no hubiéramos podido conocer de no ser por este lindo trenecito! Si visitan Tenerife, no se lo pueden perder 😍❤️

Absolute pleasure going with my family on the touristic train tenerife. Super friendly crew, great organization and attentive to every detail. Check out their new stations! They started going to the golden mile, which was a perfect way to top off a day of tourism.
