Marc is the perfect host for seeing Gran Canaria. He spent two days showing my family a variety of beautiful and interesting villages and natural sights. He was so patient with our 2 year old and offered a perfect balance of information and insights without overwhelming us. We will absolutely call him next year. What a delightful person to spend time with !!

High quality private tour, would highly recommend! Did a wine tour with Marc, the lovely tour guide/owner of Personal Tour where we learned a bit more about the country and also a new found appreciation for the intricacies of wine, specially Gran Canaria wine. He was extremely knowledge, friendly and thoughtful! We traveled up north after being picked up from our hotel in the South. We went to see the last active volcano Bandama Caldera, which was beautiful and breathtaking. We then went to a small vineyard called La Higuera Mayor where we met the owner and got to see all the aspects of the winemaking process. We learned a ton about what goes into making high quality wine and nuances of different wines based on the soil, wind, water etc. Tasted 5 different wines, some cheese + bread and delicious chocolate. Overall was very happy with this private tour and next time I am back in town will pursue the others that are offered. Notably we reached out the day before we wanted to tour via email and got an immediate response and picked up promptly the next morning. The entire thing was seamless! Again would highly recommend reaching out to Marc to see what kind of fabulous tour he can either create for you or interesting places he can take you. Recommend wearing comfortable shoes to walk around and perhaps a sweater as it can get a little nippy in the north due to the trade winds.

We had a marvellous day out with Marc at Personal Tours during a recent visit to Gran Canaria. This was a fairly new venture for Marc who took us on the 'Gastronomic Tour'. It involved visiting the old food market in Las Palmas where we viewed a fantastic range of fresh fish, sampled a range of beautiful fruits, as well as Palma Ham. We then visited a small but exclusive Winery set on an extremely steep and terraced slope. The hosts, Augustin and Felicia made us very welcome showing us the range of fruit grown on just a few hectares of land. In addition to the grape vines that yield both red and white wine, they grow avocados, huge, sweet oranges, bananas, coffee beans, mango, and olives. It is truly a labour of love. After sampling the wines we were served a delicious tapas-style lunch. Marc was an excellent guide, giving us detailed information about local industry, the economy, the history of the island and its success with tourism. We cannot recommend this tour more highly. It was wonderful.

Marc provided us with the highlight to our holiday with a wonderful Personal Tour of a unique vineyard. Marc's knowledge and interest in the local food and wine made this an experience we will remember for a long time. We look forward to returning and having Marc show us more of the island and its hidden treasures.

We had an awesome time with Marc! We were on a press tour for Canarias Jazz y Mas Festival, so even though our days are long and nights are short, we were endlessly entertained. His stories are interesting, the sights we saw were beautiful, the vineyard was wonderful and the food was completely off the charts. Definitely want Marc to join us on the next run. 10/10 would recommend!

This was a phenomenal experience from start to finish! We found Marc’s tour on Google at the very last minute and it could not have been a better find! (The tours on Viator were more expensive and most required advance booking). Hotel pick up/ drop off: promptly picked up at our hotel by Marc, who was such a great guide, and greeted us with cold water and chocolates! Great itinerary: Well explained and learned a lot about the wine, the vineyard and even the island’s history and economy. The whole ride to the vineyard was really pleasant and we learned so much about the island! Marc has a great personality and really made us feel welcome! The vineyard: the owner gave us an extensive walk through of the vineyards (all the grape varieties and other crops being grown). Learned a lot about the soil, growing process and we got a detailed look at the bottling and production facilities. The wine tasting: This was the highlight! We had 4 wines (usually it’s 3), 1 white not from the vineyard and 3 from the vineyard. Accompanied by cheese and bread then chocolates- which was a nice note at the end Marc provided a chart to help us identify the flavor and aromas of each wine. This was a really nice touch and felt very personalized and immersive (we really got a high quality, high touch experience with the wine). It was fun and almost felt like we were our own sommeliers! Setting: the wine tasting was on a terrace overlooking a gorgeous view of Las Palmas, in the shade of a beautiful bougainvillea tree. Sipping a variety of wines with unique flavors as we snacked on cheese and chocolate, being gently caressed by the tradewinds was the best way to end our short stay on Gran Canaria! I cannot recommend this tour enough! It was personalized, well paced, educational and overall, a fun and magical experience!

We had a fabulous day out with Marc on the volcanic walk and wine tasting tour. It was such a pleasure to spend the day with him learning about the local area. Such amazing views walking around the volcano, then onto our private tour of the vineyard where we spent the rest of the day wine tasting and enjoying a lovely lunch of goodies produced at the vineyard. Highly recommend this tour for a relaxing and enjoyable day out.

My husband and I went on a private tour with Marc yesterday. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. We went to see the views of the volcano which were spectacular. Marc brought the history of the volcano to life. We then went for a private tour around la Higuera Mayor Winery. The host Luis and Marc made it a very memorable day tasting wine and chatting around the table. I would recommend Marc to anyone who wants a bespoke tour of Gran Canaria. Whether it be a scenic tour or a tasting experience. Thank you Marc for making my birthday treat so unforgettable.

Marc gave us a very inclusive, interesting and professional tour of Gran Canaria in December 2021 for 2 days. His knowledge of the Islands and their history and culture was very informative. He is a very personable young man and we enjoyed his company for the 2 days we were with him. He was also very helpful in assisting us with a ticketing issue we had with Iberia. We would totally recommend his services and would use him again when we come back to Gran Canaria and Las Palmas.

We booked a private tour to reduce Covid risks and have more flexibility. Marc was a great guide - he took us for a day in the mountains of Gran Canaria, including the climb to Roque Nublo.
