Absolutely fantastic experience with Lavaflylanzarote. Murphy is very knowledgeable and very safety conscious. He puts you at ease and explains everything very clearly. It’s amazing how quickly and smoothly you get airborne and then you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the experience. Murphy knows a lot about the island too and shows you all the points of interest. He is a cool guy to chat with too.Rafa on the ground was absolutely lovely too. Very funny and warm, which helps to put you at ease before the flight. I don’t hesitate to recommend Lavafly. Just do it! You won’t regret it.

Ich habe lange gesucht, um mit 198cm und über 100kg einen Paragliding-Flug machen zu können. Bei Lava Fly war es möglich und das Erlebnis war großartig. Vom ersten Kontakt bis zum Flug ansich war alles sehr sympathisch und professionell. Murphy scheint sehr erfahren, ist sehr locker und ein toller Gesprächspartner in der Luft! Absolutely loved this experience, I was really nervous as im not great with heights but merv was fantastic, I messaged very last minute as we didnt realise it was something we could do, we even took my 6 year old both staff were great with him and he has additional needs so can be a handful. A great experience if you can get to do this. Communication was great throughout and we had no issues what so ever top rated company 🥰

LavaFly team was incredible at finding a time and place, safe to fly, after many weather changes. The pilot Murphy knew how badly I wanted to fly and he didn't give up. It paid off and the flight was amazing! His warm and inviting energy just made it all so much better. We talked and laughed, took photos and ended my journey in Lanzarote in a spectacular way. Amazing experience, could not recommend enough. It was clear from the start that the team are professionals and there was no doubt that safety was a top priority. Instructions and explanations about the equipment, how it works and how to sit correctly were given before we took off which gave me reassurance as I was a bit nervous beforehand. It didn't take long after lifting off for the nerves to turn to pure enjoyment. Murphy does an amazing job at making you feel relaxed and it is clear that he is very passionate about the sport, which is exactly the kind of person you want piloting the paraglider. I have always been a bit scared of heights but despite being high up in the air I was completely relaxed and knew I was in safe hands. The views of the surrounding landscape are incredible and pictures really will not do it justice - you have to experience it for yourself. All in all this was a 10/10 experience and if you're considering doing it, don't think about it - just do it, and I guarantee you won't regret it. Thank you Lavafly

Me and 2 friend did the paragliding this summer. Absolutely loved it. I was afraid my fear or heights would be a problem but it’s so peaceful during the flight there was no time to panic. Loved the instructors they where amazing! Would highly recommend and i would come back for more.

It was the best experience ever. I loved everything. Murphy was one of the best pilot I have ever seen. He’s super calm and he makes sure that you understand everything and that you are comfortable. He made sure our experience was good. It’s once in a lifetime. You have to do it. The pictures weren’t so good because of the light but it wasn’t Murphy fault. Rafa (murphy’s partner) was really helpful and respectful too. We are grateful for both of them!

**LavaFly and my Moonwalk** LavaFly told me they have many years of experience flying with people with disabilities. They were excited to find the best solution for me to make this an unforgettable experience! It gave me immediate confidence. A week before I left for Lanzarote, I contacted LavaFly via WhatsApp. We immediately had a very personal and fun conversation. That conversation only made me more excited to do this! They asked me very politely about my physical situation. The way they did this made me feel very positive because they didn’t start with what I can no longer do! On the contrary, they asked about my possibilities. I arrived and immediately had a nice chat with the female crew member. We even forgot to introduce ourselves! That’s why I still don’t remember her name—but we were both so excited about this day! The taxi driver somewhat nervously wondered if it was all really possible—how on earth would I get up there? He pointed to the huge mountain. Murphy and Dario were still doing some preparations, but soon I received a big, warm smile, a firm handshake, and a hug from both gentlemen. Dario carried a stool and all kinds of other supplies. The grand lady of the crew happily hopped along to record everything on camera—those photos and videos were necessary in case you wouldn’t believe I actually did this! And then Murphy—who briefly threw his big, strong body into action—carried me up the mountain on his back. At the top, there was a bench where Murphy went down on one knee and carefully placed me on it. Thanks to Dario, I was soon in a whole new outfit: sweater, parachute harness, helmet, and beanbag. While the guys unraveled all the ropes and the parachute, I chatted on top of the cliff with the grand lady of the crew. A little wobbly on the stool, but very stable because she supported me firmly. I looked down from that cliff. What the hell was I doing?! But wow—how beautiful it already was! The ocean showed its strength against the rocks. The abandoned village stood out strikingly with its white houses against the black and reddish-brown lava rocks. I got one last instruction and then—suddenly—within a few seconds I was screaming like a hyena high in the air! I felt liberated, overwhelmed, and like I was on a rollercoaster. How touchingly beautiful Mother Nature was! She showed me all her strength in her simplicity. Meanwhile, I felt an encouraging and very (necessary) reassuring hand from Murphy resting on my shoulder. I had been quite nervous beforehand about how my muscles would react to this experience. But it was actually my stomach that exaggerated—like I had to perform a moonwalk out there! And let me be clear: this had nothing to do with Murphy. Some people are just more sensitive—that’s why the stomach made itself known. My stomach reacted to the lunar landscape below like an astronaut spinning in circles. But then I felt calm. I was just floating there, with another human being, just some strings and a wind sail above Lanzarote. Murphy really did everything he could to distract me from that annoying nausea and even gave me the orange puke bag, just in case. I totally understand him—imagine being thrown up on by someone you don’t even know! We landed safely and steadily. I had to process all the sensations. What was all that?! A big group hug and high fives! Some water and energy sugar. More hugs—and I felt intensely happy. A few moments later, I was crossing the Lanzarote landscape with my wheelchair and electric handbike as if I had just landed on the moon in a Lunar Roving Vehicle! I am so incredibly grateful that people like this crew exist! You can count on an amazingly good team, the strength and care of Murphy, all their joy, and their “there is always a solution” mentality. It was super exciting and a beautifully liberating sensation— a feeling of vulnerability, respect, and connection with Mother Nature. Absolutely incredible experience—10/10! Tandem paragliding in Lanzarote was easily one of the most unforgettable things I’ve ever done. From start to finish, everything was professional, safe, and just plain thrilling. Raphael was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel totally at ease, even though it was my first time. The views were absolutely breathtaking—floating over volcanic landscapes, turquoise waters, and dramatic cliffs was surreal. It honestly felt like flying. The takeoff and landing were way smoother than I expected, and the whole experience felt longer than I thought it would, in the best way, would definitely recommend!

Hier ist man auf jeden Fall gut aufgehoben, das Personal professionell, aber auch mega sympathisch und macht das Erlebnis komplett. Einziger Schwachpunkt: es macht süchtig. Der Ausflug ist jeden Cent wert. Danke dafür. Ich bin gestern zum 3. Mal mit Murphy von Lavafly geflogen. Und nicht zum letzten Mal. Ein Tandem-Gleitschirmflug mit Pilot Murphy von Lavafly war einfach unvergesslich! Vom Moment des Abhebens bis zur sanften Landung spürte ich eine Mischung aus Begeisterung, Freiheit und einem Hauch von Adrenalin. Über die vulkanischen Landschaften von Lanzarote zu schweben und den Ozean aus der Vogelperspektive zu betrachten – das war einfach unglaublich. Murphy ist ein echter Profi: ruhig, souverän und mit einem großartigen Sinn für Humor. Dank ihm konnte ich mich vollkommen entspannen und den Flug in vollen Zügen genießen, ohne mir Sorgen machen zu müssen. Leichte Luftströmungen, sanfte Kurven, das Gefühl, durch den Himmel zu gleiten, und die atemberaubenden Ausblicke – all das machte dieses Erlebnis unvergesslich. Murphy und seine wunderbare Freundin Gara haben sich mehrere Tage für mich Zeit genommen, bis der richtige Wind für den Flug kam und der Regen nachließ. Die Möglichkeit, in den Himmel zu steigen, ergab sich erst am letzten Tag meines Aufenthalts auf Lanzarote. Da ich mein Mietauto bereits zurückgegeben hatte, holten mich die beiden vom Hotel ab und brachten mich nach dem Flug wieder zurück. Auf dem Rückweg fuhren wir außerdem durch den Nationalpark Timanfaya – in völliger Dunkelheit, nur mit dem Licht der Scheinwerfer. Die Atmosphäre war völlig anders als am Tag: die Lavafelder und die Krater, die in den Nachthimmel ragten, hinterließen einen tiefen Eindruck. Beeindruckend! Falls sich jemand fragt, ob ein Gleitschirmflug eine gute Idee ist – definitiv ja! Besonders mit einem Team wie Lavafly. Es war eines dieser Erlebnisse, die für immer in Erinnerung bleiben.

Flow with the wind Volar en parapente sobre Lanzarote ha sido una de las experiencias más increíbles de mi vida. Desde el primer momento, todo fue súper seguro, con un equipo profesional que me explicó cada detalle y me hizo sentir completamente tranquila. La sensación de volar y ver la isla desde otra perspectiva es simplemente indescriptible. El contraste de los paisajes volcánicos con el azul del mar crea una vista espectacular que solo se puede apreciar desde las alturas. Lo pasé genial, disfrutando cada segundo del vuelo. Sin duda, una experiencia inolvidable que recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera vivir la emoción de volar con total seguridad. ¡Repetiría sin dudarlo

Simply WOW!!! As I was spending a day on Lanzarote and wanted to try paragliding for the first time, I contacted LavaFly via Whatsapp. The contact beforehand was great: friendly, helpful and very well organised, so I was really looking forward to the flying day. Then I got to know Murphy. He's such a great guy who gives you a strong sense of confidence from the first second - he explains everything to you and does everything necessary to make sure you fully enjoy the flight and the breathtaking views you get. If you want to paraglide: definitely with LavaFly! If you don't want to paraglide: Try it! :-)

Yesterday I flew for the first time in my life (except in airplanes) - and it was an amazing experience. I felt quite nervous beforehand, as this was definitely outside my comfort zone! But as soon as I met Dario at the site I started relaxing - and I got to watch the prior flight, which also helped me. My pilot was Murphy: extremely skilled, very attentive to my needs and extraordinarily thoughtful, caring and kind. Interesting to talk to during the first, too! I loved every minute of it. Would definitely recommend booking 45 minutes or more.

Volar en el Risco de Famara: un sueño absoluto! Haces parte del paisaje y son 360 grados de libertad infinita. Gracias a Lava Fly y su super equipo! Primero Dario te prepara y te explica todo para que te sientas seguro y entiendas la maniobra de despegue, luego Murphy verifica todo y toma las riendas. En un par de segundos ya estas volando, solo tienes que dejarte llevar y abrir grande tus ojos y tus sentidos, "Capitán Murphy" te lleva de paseo. Al regresar quizás te falten las palabras para describirlo pero tu sonrisa lo dice todo. Durch Zufall sind wir bei unserem Aufenthalt auf Lanzarote auf die Paraglider in Tinajo -Tenesar getroffen. Seit Jahren habe ich den Wunsch geäußert dies auch mal zu tun, jedoch nie in die Realität umgesetzt. Die ausgestrahlte Professionalität und Atmosphäre haben mich dazu ermutigt dies dann heute in die Tat umzusetzen. Obwohl wir keine Buchung hatten haben Dario und Murphy es möglich gemacht. Es war einfach fantastisch, es gibt keine Worte .... und muss selbst erlebt werden. Murphy hat mit seiner Art und Ruhe für unvergesslichen Momente gesorgt. Danke auch an Dario, der mir sogar noch einen Pullover geborgt hat, da ich nicht vorbereitet war. Meine Empfehlung ***** selbst ausprobieren **** ich wäre wieder dabei. Gliding over the otherworldly landscapes of Lanzarote is one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve ever had. It really makes you think about how short our time is on this planet, especially when you’re looking at a place shaped by millions of years of Earth’s history. Murphy, the guide, is amazing — he’s this big, gentle guy who immediately makes you feel safe, especially if it’s your first time. Honestly, the whole experience is like a therapy session (and he should probably charge extra for that!). His deep, booming voice behind you feels like that little voice in your head — or maybe even the voice of God — helping you relax and forget about all your worries. If you’re going to do just one thing while you’re in Lanzarote (which is impossible because there’s so much to do), make it this. The views and the feeling you get are something you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

Buenas tardes, el 22 de septiembre por primera vez hice Parapente y fue por la zona de Orzola (y no será la última). Desde un principio me sentí muy tranquilo y seguro con los consejos que me daban. El espectáculo de paisaje es brutal y con unas vistas increíbles. De verdad que merece la pena sentirse como un ave volando y contemplando esos lindos paisajes. Destacar el trato como persona y trabajador por como te aconsejaban y explicaban cada cosa antes, durante y después del vuelo. Bravo por los chicos, grandes profesionales. Recomiendo que al menos una vez en la vida prueben esta bonita experiencia de sobresaliente. 10👏😀

In mijn vakantie wezen paragliden. De communicatie omtrent de afspraak ging fijn via whatssapp. Omdat je bij paragliden wind nodig hebt word de afspraak last minute gemaakt, hou daar rekening mee. Dat is overal zo. Op de dag van de afspraak krijg je een locatie doorgestuurd, daar zijn wij met de taxi naartoe gegaan. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen, alles werd goed uitgelegd en ik kon een windjack lenen want die had ik niet meegenomen van huis. Nadat we op de berg klaar stonden om er vanaf te gaan bleek op die locatie toch te weinig wind te zijn. De instructeurs hebben alles weer ingepakt en ons meegenomen in hun auto, ja wat een service! De andere plek, hoger in de bergen was wel genoeg wind dus toen ging het toch echt gebeuren het paragliden. In de lucht was het uitzicht echt fantastisch en Murphy de instructeur is echt een gevoelsmens en haalt eventuele zenuwen weg. We hebben een tijd door de lucht gevlogen wat echt een bijzondere ervaring is, terwijl ik dit schrijf voel ik zelfs wat emotie opkomen omdat de ervaring ombeschrijfelijk is. Je moet het echt meemaken je vergeet het nooit meer. Lava Fly Lanzerote onwijs bedankt. INTENS GENOTEN..

Sin dall'inizio, mi sono sentito al sicuro grazie alla professionalità Di Murphy e Dario , che hanno spiegato ogni fase del volo in modo chiaro e rassicurante. Il decollo è stato sorprendentemente fluido e, una volta in aria, la sensazione di libertà era indescrivibile. Worst Experience Ever!!! I booked a flight for a friend's birthday present 2 months before our arrival. The first strange thing was that I was asked to make an advance payment via PayPal (which is normal) BUT in the "friend" category and not the "business" category. I wrote to them 1 week before our arrival and as soon as we arrived in Lanzarote. Nobody kept me update with the weather, so I always had to ask them again. On the last day I wrote to them saying that if it wasn't possible to fly I just wanted to be refunded, and as if by magic they'd found a place and time for the appointment. I asked them to confirm because I had to rent a car specifically for this activity, and they told me everything was fine. 15 minutes before the jump (I was arrived at the car park), I receive a message telling me that the conditions are not good for flying and that I should cancel (without ever seeing anyone, just by WhatsApp message). I asked for a refund and never got a reply since 15 March!

Did paragliding with Murphy last week at Lanzarote with help from Dario and it was great! Got in contact one day before through WhatsApp and in the evening they will check the weather forecast for the next day and based on that they pick the best location on the island. It was my first time paragliding and I felt I was in safe hands with Murphy all the time. He clearly is a professional who stands for safety first. Thank you Murphy and Dario!

It was the best decision I ever made..beeing afraid of heights waa a big issue since yeara for me..but I accepted the challenge and flew with Lavafly Lanzarote...like a bird!! It was amazing! In the beginning I waa extremly nervous, tense..but Murphy waa just excellent..for him ,gliding with his Paraglide is meditation..and he just gave all his calmness and knowledge to me..so I could relax and enjoy the flight !!! I would recommend to anyone this breathtakung experience..just glide in the sky with amazing views of the island and making company with the birds next to yo doing the same .. thank you Lavafly for an unforgettable wedding anniversary gift ❤️❤️❤️ will be back for sure!

Wunderschönes Erlebnis, Das Team ist gelassen aber dennoch unfassbar professionell. Ich fühlte mich von Anfang bis Ende sicher und gut betreut. Es wurde sich genug Zeit für Fotos und Videos genommen, Sogar ein eigener FaceTime Call mit der Familie über das eigene Smartphone war kein Problem. Kann ich nur jedem Raten, unvergesslich! :)

Ik heb een week geleden een vlucht gemaakt, een parasailing experience. Het was een bijzondere en leuke ervaring. Murphy was de piloot, erg aardig, ervaren en deskundig. Na afloop kreeg ik foto’s en filmpjes die tijdens de vlucht zijn gemaakt. Positief: ik heb geen enkel moment het idee gehad dat er een risico aan was verbonden. Negatief: de startplek zou beter aangegeven kunnen worden én de weg die je moet lopen beter gemarkeerd kunnen worden, zeker de terugweg. Kortom, mijn vrouw had een geweldig verjaardagscadeau bedacht, ik heb er van genoten.

I could't wish anything better for my 50. birthday! Free as a bird high above the cliffs and the ocean, only the wind in my ears and Murphy let me steer a pararglider for a while. Unforgettable experience! My whole family, 5 of us, made a flight today and we would all love to do it again! We also got many beautiful photos and videos of each flight. They truly are the nicest souvenir of our stay on Lanzarote.

Gleichzeitig spürte ich den Adrenalinkick, der mit dem sanften Gleiten und den gelegentlichen Drehungen verbunden war. Die Freiheit, die man dabei empfindet, ist schlichtweg unbeschreiblich. Die Professionalität und Freundlichkeit des Teams von LavaFly Lanzarote haben meinen Tandemflug zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Murphy en zijn team zijn erg relaxed en weten je gerust te stellen. Ze leggen alles duidelijk uit. Wanneer je van de berg af rent, zweef je als het ware meteen in de lucht. Ik vond het totaal niet eng. Het was echt heel relaxed en genieten van de mooie natuur van bovenaf.

Größtes deutsches Lob ist ja: „Kann man nicht meckern!“ Bei Murphy und dem Lavafly-Team muss man aber definitiv einen draufsetzen, sodass das Fazit lautet: „Besser geht‘s nicht!!!“ Man merkt von der ersten Sekunde an die Professionalität und langjährige Erfahrung in Bezug auf Planung (wenn das Wetter nicht optimal ist, wird eben verschoben und sehr flexibel versucht einen anderen Termin zu finden) und Durchführung (lieber nochmal ein paar Minuten geduldig warten, bis die Bedingungen für das perfekte Flugerlebnis passen). In der Luft ist es dann einfach traumhaft. Beim Tandemflug konnten wir entspannt das Risco de Famara anfliegen und anschließend am Strand landen. Murphy erklärt zudem alles in seiner ruhigen Art und man merkt, dass hier jemand genau das tut, was er liebt. Echt inspirierend und jedem zu empfehlen, der sowas mal erleben will! Danke Lavafly für das tolle Erlebnis!

Thanks to Lava Fly Lanzarote for a huge tick off my bucket list. Murphy was such an easy going and skillfull pilot the take off and landing were easy with clear simple instructions. Ich wollte meinem Mann mit einem Paragliding tandemflug zu seinen Geburtstag überraschen. Zuerst hatte ich diesen bei einem anderen Anbieter gebucht, dieser wollte sich 2 Tage vor dem Flugdatum melden um alles auszumachen aber das passierte nicht, und er war auch nichtmehr zu erreichen (Es stellte sich heraus dass sie überhaupt nicht auf der Insel waren zu dem gebuchten Termin) Einen tag vor dem eigentlichen Flugtag fand ich LavaFly im Internet und hab sie angeschrieben ob sie mir in meiner misslichen Lage vielleicht helfen können. Murphy hat sofort zurückgeschrieben und wir haben noch einen Flug pünktlich zu dem Geburtstag bekommen. Murphy war entspannt und sehr viel über die Thermik erklärt. Mein Mann war absolut begeistert von dem Flug mit ihm! Mit Lavafly zu fliegen war Nachhinein glaube ich das beste was passieren konnte! Wenn wir das nächste mal wieder auf Lanzarote sind kommen wir wieder zu Murphy! I wanted to surprise my husband with a paragliding tandem flight for his birthday. First I had booked this with another provider, who wanted to get in touch 2 days before the flight date to arrange everything, but that didn't happen. one day before the actual flight day I found LavaFly on the internet and wrote to them if they could help me in my predicament. Murphy texted back right away and we got another flight in time for the birthday. Murphy was relaxed and explained a lot about thermals. My husband absolutely loved flying with him! In hindsight, flying Lavafly was the best thing that could have happened! Next time we are in Lanzarote we will come back to Murphy!

Du schenkst deinem 15-jährigen Sohn einen Tandem-Paragliding-Flug zum Geburtstag und auf Lanzarote angekommen, stellst du fest, dass du das jetzt auch durchziehen musst. Und dann fängst du an, verschiedene Anbieter miteinander zu vergleichen, Bewertungen wie diese zu lesen und auf Mundpropaganda zu hoffen. Denn wem würdest du dein Kind anvertrauen, während du hilflos von unten zusiehst? Genau. Murphy und dem Lava Fly Team. Murphy ist so entspannt und kompetent, dass selbst die hysterische Mutti die fantastische Aussicht – und das allein vom Boden aus – geniessen kann. Das Kind: landet sicher und breit grinsend nach einem atemberaubendem Flug über Klippen, Hängen und Wellen und ist auch nach Stunden noch total beseelt. Nächstes Mal fliegt dann auch Mutti – trotz Höhenangst.

Hai Murphy and team, I wanne say that because of you I can tick off something from my bucketlist. 6 year ago I had an accident and I had to learn walking again. I have permanent damage in my leg. I followed 3 days a week therapy in the hospital to learn walking again. I walked 2,5 years with stools. 2 years later I get a big operation on my belly. Get complications and they give me antibiotics after antibiotics for almost 1,5 year. 1,5 year ago (because everything was happend the last 4 year) I get an burnout. Now I conquer my burnout. I do all things I couldn't do before. And paragliding was 1 of the things on my bucketlist. And you maked this dream come true. So maybe I was a little bit quiet but I was overwhelmed and enjoying everything. You and you're team were awesome! Thanks for making this dream come true ❤️

Absolutely 5 stars! Murphy was so calm and confident, such a great energy and put us right at ease as it was our first flight. The website is nice and easy to use, he was really communicative on WhatsApp prior to even flying out to lanzarote and recommended the best days and locations to fly as he knows the winds on the island, his experience and attention to safety was fantastic. most of all he was fun and let you just take in the whole experience at your own pace and was there for any questions. He explained everything really well, what to expect, what to do before take off etc. My husband and I flew one of after the other for about an hour each, time flew so would recommend doing as long as you can to take it all in and see the island from a view you'll never forget. We got a memory stick as soon as we finished with the photos of videos, can't wait to load them up and look, but best of all is the unforgettable experience. Felt thoroughly looked after - thank you Murphy ☺️

Der Flug mit Murphy war einzigartig. Es war großartig, er hatte vor unserem Flug das Wetter genau beobachtet und dann gesagt dass es sicher wäre, kein anderer war in der Luft. Das heist Murphy hat so viel Erfahrung und Gefühl, dass er einer der wenigen ist der mit gutem Gefühl und Verantwortung fliegen kann, um wirklich sicher zu stellen das alles sicher ist und jeder sein Spaß hat, damit man mit sehr viel Erlebnis Freude dabei ist und sich sehr sicher fühlt. Mit mir waren wir 7 Personen, die nacheinander geflogen sind und jeder war beflügelt und hat gemeint es wäre ein Erlebnis, dass man sehr selten in seinem Leben hat, dass man miterleben kann. Es war mein erster Tandemflug, Murphy hat einem sehr viel Sicherheit gegeben und ist mega sympathisch so das man den Flug einfach nur genießen konnte. Ich empfehle jedem der Lanzarote aus einer anderen Perspektive erleben möchte mit Lava Fly einen Paraglidingflug zu machen. Einfach ein grandioses Erlebnis man kommt aus dem Grinsen nicht mehr raus.

Best experience ever. We have been flying with Murphy, a most wonderful guy. He explained everything very well, was professional and kept us comfortable throughout the flight.
