Op 30/10/2025 deed ik de Volcantour. Een fantastische ervaring met twee schitterende en goed geïnformeerde, geduldige en hulpvaardige gidsen. Spijtig dat mijn vakantie nog kort is want het smaakte naar meer. DANKJEWEL DAVID en ... voor deze geweldige dag. Zelfs de geregeld opkomende wolken en nevel konden deze dag niet stuk maken. (Sorry dat ik de naam van devrouwelijke gids vergeten ben... je was fantastisch, ik zal ooit vergeten hoe je Trudy naar beneden hielp met jou stralende glimlach). Groetjes aan iedereen die erbij was deze dag. Xxx

Ik heb hun Vulkaan Tour (met Roque Nublo wandeling, en zonsondergang bij Pico de las Nieves) geboekt via Tui, omdat ik naar de Roque Nublo terug wilde maar deze keer op Gran Canaria geen eigen auto gehuurd had. Heerlijke tocht, en ook de stops buiten de wandeling om voegden wat toe aan de dag.

Hab die volcano Tour gemacht, war wunderschön. Sehr nette Leute und die guides sind super! Es ist perfekt organisiert und kein klassisches Touristen geschubse (also nicht 100 Stops an Hotels bis man mal irgendwas sieht oder macht) Ich werde definitiv nochmal eine Tour hier buchen 😋

What a great experience ! We were on the Red Canyon tour today and we got all the attention of our local guide and driver, David. He explained everything very clearly and passionately, and as a native Canarian, he knows everything you need to know. I strongly recommend this organisation. They take excursions serious with attention for the ecological aspects.

An amazing volcano sunset tour! And watching the sunset above the clouds was incredible. Stunning views from all the stops along the way, and the tour guides, Ana and Daylos, were fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Ana was the best guide, driver, photographer and more! The tour is great even for solo travellers.

-Volcano-Tour- Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert. Vorab erhielt man rechtzeitig Informationen zu Abholung und dem Ablauf, sowie "was ist mitzubringen". Leider waren die Tracks für den Hike aufgrund des Wetters gesperrt, aber der Plan B, eine Wanderung zu den Höhlen, war mindestens genauso schön und interessant. Die Tour hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt und man erfuhr viele wissenswerte Dinge über Land und Leute. >Empfehlenswert<

We did the Volcano tour with Dilos and Angelica. What a fun day we had. Dilos is hilarious and loves the history of the island.Angelica has a big heart and is very knowledgeable on the sceneries and all plants we encountered. The nature really surprised us with breath-taking views : the Sea of Cloud, the Monk. An incredible sunset experience at the Pico de las Nieves surrounded by a mix of locals and tourists all enjoying that natural beauty. Really Wow. And all that with a little shot 🥃 of Honey rhum oh yes. Our guides wore their passion for the island and its conservation on their sleeves and that passion and love really came through during the whole trip. I just loved it ♥️ and so did the family. So I warmly recommend anyone wanting to discover more of Gran Canaria to book this trip. We wanted to do the canyoning also with Climbo but unfortunately it was all full already for the week we were still there.

Posting an update here as I am unable to change my initial review on Get Your Guide. It's been a month since my tour and they still did not send the pictures taken on the day, nor did they reply to my last messages asking for an update. As a solo traveller you rely on others to help capture your experiences, so it is beyond disappointing that these were not shared. The cynic in me wonders if the others from my tour who tipped more got theirs or if it's just me ;) If you don't have them due to whatever reason at least take accountability and apologize rather than just ignoring me! Although the experience was largely positive on the day, I would not book with them again after this.

I booked an organised hiking tour through Get Your Guide, coordinated by Climbo, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The day took us from Pico de Bandama to the summit of Roque Nublo, finishing with a magical sunset at Pico de las Nieves. Our small group enjoyed a light French/Spanish fusion lunch at Hotel Rural El Refugio, along with local cheese, marzipan, and mojo from street traders—a lovely touch that gave us a real taste of the island. The hike up to Roque Nublo was around 3 km each way and quite strenuous in parts, but the views at the top were breathtaking and made it all worthwhile. I found myself quietly panicking during a few tough stretches, but our guide was incredibly supportive, encouraging everyone to go at their own pace. The group had mixed abilities, and it was a very comfortable, inclusive experience. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about Gran Canaria, and we felt completely safe even on the winding mountain roads. Honestly, the perfect tour—beautiful scenery, great food, and a brilliant guide. I can’t fault it at all and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Wholeheartedly recommend Did the "Volcano Heart" tour, and the experience was great. Perfect organisation, friendly guides, pleasant hike, amazing views and food. Only point of caution - the roads to the top of the island have lots of curves, so roadsick people may want to have some pills ready.

Nous avons pris une réservation lors de notre séjour à las palmas pour une sortie en bateau, nous avons fait 1h de bus pour rejoindre le point de rdv ou devais nous récupérer la navette qui devais nous emmener au bateau, celle-ci n'est jamais venue. Nous n'avons eu aucun remboursement et la personne nous as clairement reprochés de parler le Français, il sont rasciste. je déconseille !!!!!!

A great tour of some of the northern peaks of the island. Got the chance to sample some local cuisine. The hikes are very steady. The paths are well trodden. If you keep your eye on the path anyone can do it. Our tour guide Anna was excellent. Very knowledgeable and very personable. Finished off the tour watching the sunset over mount teidi. Bravo. I will be recommending this trip to everyone.

Die Via Ferrata Tour war ausgezeichnet. Der Guide Victor war super nett und lustig. Die Trainee Emilie ebenfalls. Die Route war anstrengend, aber machbar. Wenn man mal nicht weiter kommt wird einem geholfen. Rundum ein gelungener Ausflug.

Vorab- das war unsere erste Canyoning Tour. Die Organisation vorab war super, es lief über WhatsApp. Es wurde alles genau mitgeteilt und wenn man fragen hatte, kam schnell eine Antwort. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe 5 Person und unser Leader Viktor. Viktor hat das total super gemacht, alles toll erklärt und eine tolle Art dabei. Das Canyoning selber hat uns gut gefallen, laufen durch die kleinen Bäche, rutschen ins Wasser, Abseilen und wir sind auch einmal hochgeklettert. Wir hatten unseren Sohn (8Jahre) dabei, das hat alles gut geklappt. Er hat gute Unterstützung bekommen. Wir können Climbo empfehlen und würden wieder dort buchen

Excursion mémorable, guide génial : On vient nous chercher en van, et c’est parti ! Un peu de route pour rallier les différentes étapes, mais Santiago sait quand il peut rouler et quand il faut prendre le temps pour éviter le mal des transports. Il est très sympathique, attentif, patient, et passionné par ce qu’il nous fait découvrir (avec toutes les anecdotes qui puissent nous intéresser). Caldera de Bandana, puis on prend le temps de s’arrêter pour goûter des produits locaux dans la petite boutique d’un couple, on mange de tout au repas préparé pour nous au restaurant, puis direction une randonnée abordable d’1,5km (2 fois : aller et retour) avec paysages et vues époustouflants jusqu’au Roque Nublo. Puis vient le couché de soleil au dessus des nuages, un moment incroyable (en se couvrant un peu). Les différents lieux découverts et la nourriture suffiraient à rendre cette excursion inoubliable, mais le guide Santiago apporte vraiment quelque chose à cette journée : merci à lui !

Absolutely brilliant day, Mike was on the phone to make sure that we were picked up in plenty of time, the party was not too big, Mike and Santiago were very friendly, very knowledgeable and informative about the plants , volcanos and the rock formations. The sights were absolutely amazing, nothing like we’ve ever seen before. The local food and wine were also an added bonus, the cactus marmalade I had on my toast this morning which we purchased was lovely. I would definitely recommend this excursion ! 5 stars ⭐️

Honestly, I found the tour better than I expected. Both Mike and Santiago were very professional, knowledgeable, were also very funny and lay back. While is true you'll have to spent some time on the bus it should be a given as you will be traveling to many points of the island. The views are amazing, I think there are no words or images that can help me to express these views, so please go and witness it yourself. Thank you, you make my Gran Canarias visit, one of the best of my life

The best trip we had in Gran Canaria. we saw several nice places, like Bandama, Roque Nublo, Pico de las Nieves o Tejeda. We had the best group of kind people, and Mike with Raul made a good job, fiendly and funny guys. there could be a bit more hiking and less time spent in car, but apart of that the experience was perfect we enjoyed it a lot. Recommed 100% they even bought us a coffee as a compensation for waiting for another client. top professionals. Grateful for this❤️

Mike and Raul were our tour guides. Despite the adverse weather and not being able to see the sunset at the hike, they came with a plan B for us to see the sunset somewhere else! Great tour guide and knowledge of Gran Canaria. Spoke good english as well. Enjoyed this excursion! Thanks both! (One improvement feedback is to notify the party with more than 24+ hr notice on what to wear. I suggest 72hrs notice. We were only notified under 12hrs prior to pick up to bring waterproofs/warm clothes. Most of the tour group were unprepared as this was too late!)

Despite the weather not being on our side, Mike and Raul were enthusiastic guides. The cloudy weather meant we had to do an alternative tour to the hike up Roque Nublo where we went to a historic village and they treated us to some pastries and coffees which was a nice gesture. The sunset promised at the start also came to fruition in the end! Few tips for anyone planning to do the tour - be prepared for unpredictable weather so pack a raincoat and warm layers!

Although the weather was not as we expected, Mike and Raul still took us to alternative locations to watch the sunset. They were helpful and were very informative. Tip- there's quite a of winding roads on the mountains so would advise bringing some travel sickness pills just in case.

For anyone looking at taking some time away from the grind and to go on a solo adventure without their friends, partner, family or whoever; this is definitely the trip for you! I’d never braved travelling alone before, but I’ll now do it every year, especially if I can find winter sun like we’ve just had! Climbo thought of everything and were so accommodating! They picked me and the others hikers up from our various hotels or the airport, back n forth until we were all together. And then the adventure began. The group were amazing, all inspirational and beautiful people, and I know we’ll stay in touch. And our guides, Ben, Rachael, and Mike were utterly brilliant… Definitely feeling home sick for them and Gran Canaria now. I’d love to give a review that details how amazing this adventure was, but I don’t want to spoil all the surprises, as they really do put so much effort, heart and thought into the planning of this trip. The hikes are the perfect level of difficulty: You feel a great sense of achievement at the end, but it doesn’t quite get to the point where you want to give up. It was about 15 miles a day on 2-3 of the days and around 10-13 on others. Some extremely uphill, some extremely down, and every terrain imaginable - some you just can’t quite believe your eyes… My heart aches just thinking about it. Every detail was meticulously planned and thought out. At times it was really very touching. I lost count of how many ‘moments’ I had, and the happy tears (🫣), not to mention the sad ones when it was all over. I booked this trip on a whim after going through an extremely tough time for some months, and was looking for a way to find ‘me’ again, and basically put my pieces back together. Well it did that, and so much more. It changed me beyond what I could ever have imagined and in ways I’ve always admired in other people. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the wonderful Climbo crew, and of course Gran Canaria itself. I’ve taken so much from this experience and just know life’s going to be very different from here on out. ❤️💪🏼 My advise if you plan on booking - relax and go with the flow. Enjoy relinquishing all decisional responsibility to the guides and embrace the unknown. It’s far more fun to not know what’s coming! Honestly, I can’t say enough about how wonderful this really was. Book it, you will not regret it!!

Die Planung und Ausführung lies keine Wünsche offen. Abholung, Transfer und die Tour selbst hat alles super geklappt.Als Einstieg gab es eine Einweisung und Victor ist auf jeden individuell eingegangen.Das Abseilen und rutschen war super, mir hat lediglich das ins Wasser springen gefehlt aber das lag an der Location und dem Wetter!? Das Highlight was das Abseilen aus ca. 20 Meter und optional das wieder hoch klettern der vierten Passage. Hier ist Fitness und etwas Kletterkenntnis gefragt. Diese Tour kann ich empfehlen wenn ihr im Urlaub Action sucht.

We took a tour with this company along with our 4-year-old toddler! It was an incredible trip. Our tour guide, Angelic, was exceptional. She had a beautiful smile from start to finish and explained each step of the journey. Love how friendly she was. However, I do wish they'd assign a different driver next time. He nearly prompted us to leave a 3-star review. Despite picking us up at our hotel, there was no 'Good morning, no smile, . He displayed rudeness and remained grumpy throughout the trip. Anytime he picks a passenger, he just opened the door, tell them to get in and shots the door like we were sheeps . It felt like he was forced to drive us, showing little interest and seeming impatient. Thankfully, the tour guide was an absolute angel. Without her, dealing with Mr. Grumpy would have made the trip a lot more challenging. Please change the driver so your company doesn’t lose some customers

J’ai adoré cette excusion, je parle très peu l’anglais et j’ai réussi à comprendre tout ce que disait Victor et le groupe. I will definitely book with Climbo every time I come to the island! They have a variety of tours and accommodate all levels of skill. They are very caring and knowledgeable about each location on the tour, so you always leave learning something new! They also take pictures throughout and make you feel like family by the end of the tour. Mike was our guide, and he was so positive and passionate about the tour and island. He went above and beyond for us, and also was able to give great recommendations for places to visit on the island outside of the tour! Mike and Victor had great energy during the tour, and took pictures of all of us throughout the tour. Thank you for the awesome day!

Wonderful experience with our guide Victor! He is so funny and considerate! He made our group of 8 feel safe on this adventure though the descents were properly challenging for newbies in canyoning like us. Highly recommending going with him when you are in Gran Canaria!

My husband and I bought the Canyoning Tour. Our guide was Victor. He arrived exactly on time for our hotel pickup, and after picking up the other members of our group at their hotels, we were off to the Southern part of Grand Canaria to explore the canyon. It’s a scenic drive and Victor was full of helpful information. The hike up to the top of the area where we began our rappelling and jumping into the waterfall pools was steep. Victor made sure everyone was doing ok on the hike up. It was a fun, exhilarating adventure. My husband said it was one of the most fun vacation days he has ever had!

Tolle Organisation, super Kommunikation im Vorfeld. Die Tour selbst war für meinen Mann gut zu schaffen, die Guides waren sehr nett, man hat viel von der Insel gesehen, außerhalb der Touri Gegenden..die Vulkanlanschaft ist sehr beeindruckend, wir können die Tour auf jeden Fall empfehlen

He hecho 2 tours (Rainforest y Volcano's Heart Tour) y han sido increíble los dos, no podria poner ninguno de favorito porque son completamente distintos tanto en vistas como en ruta. En ambos realicé una degustación de productos locales muy ricos y disfrute mucho de todo el día! Una organización perfecta y unos guías que trasmiten muy bien toda los conocimientos que tienen sobre la isla y sus características. Muy recomendable y repetiré seguro!!

I wholeheartedly recommend using this company. I enjoyed a 6 day trek through Gran Canaria with Lucas and Marine. They are very passionate at what they do. Gran Canaria is a beautiful island and this is one of the best ways to truly see the interior.

Gran Canaria Rainforest Tour es una excursión inmejorable para pasar el día. Los sitios de visita son preciosos y el guía (Lucas) genial!!!. Te da una visión de la isla desconocida que merece mucho la pena conocer. Gran Canaria no es sólo playa, dunas y camellos es muchísimo más. 👍👍👍

Great guides and great adventure day with Miguel ! We were just a bit too many (8 instead of the promised 3) - so some downtime it’s a bit expensive compared to other places around the world (the non-canarians prices)

Experiencia inolvidable. Mejor compañía de la isla para cualquier tipo de actividad. Cogen a grupos más pequeños lo cual hacen la experiencia más personalizada y los guías están preparados con años de experiencia. Sin duda hemos aprendido mucho de la fauna y flora de los barrancos además de habernos divertido con la actividad! Muchas gracias al guía Pablo y a Carlos por toda la organización! Súper flexibles y muy recomendable!!!!

Gran conocedores de la escalada en la Isla de Gran Canaria. Tuvimos ocasión de adquirir las últimas guías de escalada de la isla y charlar con su autor, Guillermo, quien con gran amabilidad, nos hizo estupendas recomendaciones de los sectores mas adecuados a la meteorología y a nuestro grado

¡Super contentas! Hemos sido las primeras en hacer senderismo en la Fase 1 del covid19 en Gran Canaria. La verdad es que fuimos rápidas en reservar la actividad y hemos tenido la enorme suerte de poder hacer senderismo en esta cuarentena. Increíble la sensación de volver a respirar aire puro y además de descubrir el barranco de azuaje de arriba a abajo. Un 10 para Chema que fue nuestro monitor y lo pasamos super bien con él, la verdad es que hasta se hizo corta la caminata. Esperamos repetir, la siguiente nos tocará quitarnos el miedo con la escala. Muchas gracias chicos :)

In March, I went to Gran Canaria for an adventurous vacation. I ended up at Climbo for a canyoning activity. I never did it before and it was a great experience! In canyoning, you follow the water through the canyon which includes natural slides and some rappelling. You don't have to bring anything because the company provides all the material. The guide was also very professional so we could enjoy the activity safely. An experience that must be done!

Via Cordata a fantastic experience!! I did the Via Cordata with Climbo. Which was a new activity in there offer and it was absolutely fantastic!! Via Cordata gives you the real rock climbing experience because it’s a multipitch route, but you have the help of the iron steps along the way. The guides were great and very professional. Along the way they gave us information about the area, climbing tips, and told us some stories. They gave us the best and safest experience!! Absolute must-do!!

I’m completely satisfied with my first outdoor rock climbing experience with Climbo. Before I arrived at Gran Canaria, they patiently addressed all my concerns via emails. My friend couldn’t climb but they provided him a solution with us. Then they also kept us updated with all essential information in a very friendly manner. We were picked up at our hotel in MasPalomas on the climbing day. We enjoyed the chats with the staff on the way to the destination. They were friendly and open-minded. We tried five different climbing routes. I was so glad that I was in the trusted hands of the coach. We had a good rapport. My fear was quickly dispersed by his courage and confidence. In the end, I managed to succeed at all routes without feeling physically exhausted. My friend was also satisfied with the experience even without climbing. We will certainly choose Climbo again.

We had a great full day of climbing multiple rock faces! Thouroly enjoyed everything and our guide Janoc Santana was well informed skilled and of course an amazing climber !

Very nice climbing session. Area was very beautiful, actually no other people and quite safe. All difficulties, so everybody will find a proper route.

Mis amigos y yo reservamos una semana de aventura con este gran equipo. Disfrutamos de diversas actividades: vía ferrata, escalada, surf, barranquismo y senderismo, y a cada cual mejor. Quedándonos en pequeño pero acogedor campamento en Fataga. ¡Inolvidable! Lo recomiendo.

Tolle Outdoor-Angebote und sehr gute Organisation. Wir haben an einer Via Verrata Klettertour in El Berriel teilgenommen. Miguel war unser Guide und ausgesprochen nett. Die Tour würden wir immer wieder machen und empfehlen sie jedem, der sportlich ist, Lust auf Aktion hat und ein wenig von der Natur des Landes sehen möchte.

I can't recommend these guys strongly enough! We booked both climbing and mountain biking as family activities. They put so much thought into organising our excursions so that we could get the most out of our time here and they were fantastic with my 8yr old stepson. If you get the opportunity to book one of their bike tours which ends with a beer tasting at Texeda, definitely do it! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Our climbing guide, Miguel, was excellent - so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and easy going. Everyone we dealt with through Climbo from start to finish went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time here - not just when we were doing activities with them, but also by recommending local places to see and things to do while we were here. Thanks to all of you and we will see you on our next visit!
