Entgegen der Zusage bei Onlinebuchung, dass das Auto am Schiff abholbereit sei, war von der Firma nichts zu sehen. Erst nach vielen Telefonaten war klar, dass zur anderen Station geshuttelt wird. Aber nur hin, nach Abgabe muss man selbst schauen, wie man zum Schiff zurück kommt. Bremsen runter etc..diese Station ist echt eine Zumutung.

Rented here and on the other islands from Cicar before. I’ve always thought that cleanliness was an afterthought here, but this time it was appalling. We received a dirty, rundown car with squeaky brakes. Not only that, but I accidentally left my €50 cap in the car and only realized it like 30mins later when we were already boarding our flight. I wrote an e-mail immediately and they took 5 days to reply that there was no lost luggage. I really liked this company as they have a good fleet and hassle free booking, but this isn’t the service I remember. At least they’re still kind of cheap.

Walked in, they had 2 cars left. Got a fantastic supra Bjorn. Dropped the keys back when the office was shut. Car was full, clean. I'll use them again.

Incroyable ! D’une rapidité et d’une simplicité sans nom. Même pas 10 minutes pour prendre les clés car on a eu notre valise rapidement et 2 minutes pour les rendre. Ils ne demandent pas de caution ni de franchise et pas besoin d’avoir de carte de crédit. Il ne vérifie pas l’état de la voiture et ne demandent uniquement la clé et la position de la voiture au retour. Je recommande à 100% !

Coches que pierden gasolina, que te lo cambian y se lo dan a otro cliente, te dan otro más sucio que funcionan los limpiaparabrisas,, y que tenía que haber pasado las revisiones a los 4.000 Km. Un desastre

Best car hire company I have used. Fair price for the rental quote but then I found out everything was included - full insurance cover, 2 x children’s seats. No added extras or insurance add ons like most companies. Great experience thank you.

Espero que no tengan un problema con uno de los coches de CICAR y dependan del numero de telefono, no lo cogen ni de casualidad, y al cogertelo te dejan 2 horas mas con la dichosa musica. Primera y ultima.

Vorig jaar via sunnycars een dag een auto gehuurd hier toen we aanmeerde met een cruise. Volvo XC90 voor aardig wat geld maar de auto was aardig versleten van binnen en van buiten. Medewerkers waren ook niet echt vriendelijk.

The service at this car rental office was shockingly unprofessional and rude. The female staff member we interacted with was incredibly arrogant. When we asked about the costs, her response was, “I don’t know, go ask the staff in the parking lot.” What is the point of having an office labeled “Car Rental Service” if they cannot provide basic price information? This is not only extremely unprofessional but also demonstrates an appalling level of arrogance and unfriendliness. If they don’t want to offer services, they should close the office. And if the staff don’t feel like working, they should just stay home. To top it all off, as we turned to leave, the staff muttered something in Spanish, which I highly doubt was a polite thank you for our inquiry. ——————————— Der Service in diesem Mietwagenbüro war absolut unprofessionell und unverschämt. Die weibliche Mitarbeiterin, mit der wir gesprochen haben, war äußerst arrogant. Als wir nach den Kosten fragten, sagte sie: „Ich weiß es nicht, fragen Sie die Mitarbeiter auf dem Parkplatz.“ Was ist der Sinn eines Büros mit der Aufschrift „Autovermietung“, wenn sie nicht einmal grundlegende Preisauskünfte geben können? Das ist nicht nur extrem unprofessionell, sondern auch ein erschreckendes Maß an Arroganz und Unfreundlichkeit. Wenn sie keine Dienstleistungen anbieten wollen, sollten sie das Büro einfach schließen. Und wenn die Mitarbeiter keine Lust haben zu arbeiten, sollten sie besser zu Hause bleiben. Zu allem Überfluss murmelte die Mitarbeiterin etwas auf Spanisch, als wir uns umdrehten, und ich bezweifle stark, dass es ein höfliches Dankeschön für unsere Nachfrage war.

We rented a car to be picked up at the Airport Cicar. The CarPlay didn’t work, we asked for help, some guy came to see what was happening and was no helpful at all, he blamed it on the cable saying it was not original (it was) and said we should just be fine with using the car’s gps 🙄 he said we could go to Cicar Arrecife to see if they would change the car. We came and it turns out it is supposed to be closed (the airport guy obviously didn’t have the intention of helping us in anyway), but the woman in charge didn’t not only let us talk to her, she helped us and was SO kind. We will be renting again because of her, because the first experience was disappointing.

Unbeliveable speeding in Cruise harbour area - 100 km/h and above. Does Not Care about anybodys life. Was definetly a employee, Not a Rentner.

Nie wieder. Wir waren mit dem Schiff dort und haben leider den ungünstigen Liegeplatz erwischt. Von dort ist es zu Fuß knapp 1 Stunde bis zur Mietwagenstation. Wir haben durch Zufall dann mitbekommen, dass es einen Shuttle von Cicar gibt. Viele Mitreisende hatten ebenfalls dort gebucht. Um die wenigen verfügbaren Plätze im Shuttle wurde regelrecht gekämpft. Nach über 2 Stunden hatten wir dann endlich unseren Mietwagen. Wir würden dort nie wieder buchen.

Eigentlich hab ich immer sehr viel von Cicar gehalten. Aber diesmal im Rahmen einer Kreuzfahrt mit der Mein Schiff 7 war es total unorganisiert. Eigentlich wollte ich schon den Wagen stornieren. Erstmal haben wir auf der anderen Seite des Hafens angelegt. Keine Information seitens Cicar ob Fahrzeug dort steht oder ob ein Shuttle angeboten wird. Nach einen telefonischen Gespräch, sollten wir uns ein Taxi nehmen. War mir zu blöd. Per Zufall dann ein „Transfer Van“ vorm Schiff entdeckt. Ok, scheint der eine vom anderen nichts zu wissen was Sie machen. An der Station totales Chaos (es lagen drei Schiffe gleichzeitig dort). Auto bekommen. Zwecks Abgabe hieß es, kann am Schiff abgeben, Schlüssel in Fahrerraum und Tür zu. Ähm, ja. Anstatt bis 2030 mussten wir den Wagen 1700 abstellen. Schiff lag 23 Uhr ab und das Fahrzeug stand immer noch neben all den anderen. Erstmal keine Information bekommen, dann 3 Stunden geklaut. Also das war eine glatte 6 in Auskunft und Organisation. Nun hoffen wir, das es auf Teneriffa und La Gomera besser ist.

Why would you even let someone book a car during a time when your office isn’t open…

Wir hatten den Wagen im voraus gebucht. Es war soweit auch alles ok, aber die Wartezeit für die Übernahme des Wagen war mega lang!!! Das war deutlich mehr als eine Std. Dies muss man besser lösen!

We made an online booking to collect a car from the cruise port and deliver it back. When we arrived both the cruise port office was closed as was the one on the Marina. Fortunately our Receptionist on our cruise ship spoke Spanish and was able to contact Customer Services. They sent a representative out who took us to the airport and a car was available there for us. When we finally were able to leave it had taken up about 2 hours of our time.

Vraiment rien à dire en tout point : - pas plus cher si moins de 25 ans. - nous avons crever suite à une crevaison lente on nous a remplacé la voiture et même surclassé - prix ultra raisonnable. - nous avons récupéré la voiture vers 1H du matin et avons pu la ramener vers 4h du matin. - pas de caution Ils ont été super 👍🏼 je recommande vivement cette compagnie pour vos voyages aux Canaries !!

Despite the office being situated here, they insisted we walk to the cruise ship to get our car, yet we had to return it here. Staff were not friendly, and would also not help with another booking.

Llevamos mucho tiempo alquilando coches con ellos ya que cada 4 meses vamos a Lanzarote, siempre sin ningún problema hasta que esta última vez después de dos meses con la reserva hecha nos hacen esperar más de una hora porque no tenían el coche preparado. Cuando nos lo dan no era las características del que habíamos pedido y no nos cabía la maletas. Se lo decimos al chico y poco más nos trata de mentirosos, con toda su mala cara nos da otro coche. Cuando nos vamos a ir se nos queda un objeto en el olvidado y cuando llamo me dicen que no lo encuentran que mande un email a atención al cliente. Llevo dos días mandando emails y nadie responde.. súper decepcionados. Servicio pésimo

Coche bien, precio bien, hubicacion de recogida y dejada fácil. Destacar algo negativo la limpieza en mi caso del coche en el interior podría haber sido mejor.

I had great experiences with Cicar at several other locations, but I was disappointed with this one. I looked up my confirmation email after reserving my rental car with Cicar in Arrecife for a vacation last month. In my confimation email, pick up location is listed as: "Arrecife." NO ADDRESS is given! Also no general description for the location was given (like "port" or "downtown"). Well, there are two locations for Cicar in Arrecife, and I didn't know that. So I took a rather pricey taxi and arrived at the wrong rental car location. The Arrecife port rental car location (which, please note is NOT THE SAME port as where cruise ships dock!) did not have any cars for me, since my reservation was for the other location. So then I had to wait for another taxi to take us to their other (downtown) location. The employee helped me call a taxi (given that my Spanish is poor). But 15 minutes later, no taxi had arrived. I requested again from the employee to assist with a taxi and he was rude and said there was nothing he could do. It was a lengthy delay for a short port visit. We did finally manage to make it to the downtown rental car location. Once there, they did not have an automatic, which is what I had reserved. I was given a manual. Honestly I think I should have received compensation for the lack of service and failure to deliver the car as promised, but no compensation was offered. I was quite disappointed. On the day of this misadventure, I thought I had maybe mixed up my car reservation locations... but actually they just DIDN'T PROVIDE the pick up address to me. So it was their fault, not mine.

Importante empresa, mal servicio

I seldomly post reviews but I thought I had reserved an automatic car for 3 days and it turned out to be manual. Normally no issue except I am from the US and unfortunately, I can’t drive manual (I should learn). I don’t have everyone’s name at the airport CICAR who helped but I believe his name was Naim and he helped out a ton and switched me over to an automatic and I enjoyed my time on the island. 100% will be using CICAR only whenever I come to canaries.

Viaggiavamo con costa crociere!.... Scendiamo dalla nave , 200 m un rent di scooter, arriva una poliziotta"mentre stiamo affittano "locale che dice hai gestori di non affittare nulla alle persone delle crociere ....... questa mafietta tra compagnie crociere e locali, imbarazzante.......

Wir haben sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht! Dank der Rezensionen hier waren wir heute Morgen gleich um 9 Uhr bei der Autovermietung, um unseren Fiat 500 Cabrio abzuholen, den wir vorab reserviert hatten. Wir waren somit die Ersten, keine Wartezeit und alles war gut organisiert! Das Auto war vollgetankt und wir konnten sofort losfahren. Schlüsselabgabe war problemlos heute Abend möglich!

Wir haben heute (01.10.2023) unseren Mietwagen (um 15:30 Uhr) abgeholt und wurden sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Hatten für unseren gerade 3 gewordenen Sohn einen Reboarder gebucht und der unfreundliche Mitarbeiter meinte, dass eine Sitzerhöhung reichen würde. Wir bestanden aber darauf den Reboarder zu bekommen da wir ihn sicherer finden. Er holte dann schließlich einen verpackt und wir sollten ihn selbst installieren. Auf die Bitte hin uns zu helfen, meinte der Herr nur, dass wir das alleine machen müssen, wenn wir ihn nutzen wollen. Dies taten wir dann völlig fassungslos… danach stellten wir fest, dass wir einen fast leeren Tank im Auto hatten. Als wir auch das angesprochen haben, meinte er nur, dass wir 1/2 Tankfüllung im Vertrag stehen haben. Das ja, aber fast leer? Wir sind echt fassungslos, da uns der Anbieter empfohlen wurde. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht, da unser Urlaub daher sehr schlecht begonnen hat…

Location pendant 1 semaine en octobre 2023. Super agence de voiture. Prix tout compris, pas de surprise à l’arrivée. Voiture neuve en parfaite état. Il n’y a pas d’état des lieux d’entrée et de sortie du véhicule car il y a un prix tout compris sans franchise… Merci beaucoup CICAR je recommande les yeux fermés.

Wir waren auf Kreuzfahrt und hatten bei Cicar ein Auto für Arrecife reserviert. Abholtermin war 9 Uhr. Wir waren pünktlich da, und mussten 2 Stunden warten. Die Unterlagen wurden erst Vorort ausgefüllt und bei jedem wurden die Bedingungen ausführlich erklärt. Wir empfanden dies als sehr kundenunfreundlich.

Von der Reservierung über die Abholung zur Abgabe alles unkompliziert und perfekt gelaufen. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Auto war neu und in einem Top Zustand. Absolut empfehlenswert.👍👍

Hemos alquilado un coche durante cuatro días y el Automóvil que nos asignaron tenía la tapicería sucia y los neumáticos traseros estaban con el dibujo al limite no entiendo como se pueden alquilar un vehículo en ese estado

Pésimo servicio. Teníamos la reserva de chocheé contratada para las once, visto que eran las once y media y no llegaba el coche llamamos y la respuesta del trabajador primero fue que su compañero con el coche se encontraba en un atasco para luego decirme que aunque estuviese en un atasco seguro que llegaba antes de las doce porque esa era la hora de cierre de oficina. Es la primera vez que escucho que un atasco puede adecuarse al horario de una oficina 😂. No nos dieron ninguna solución sólo estas excusas baratas que solo las hubiese creído un niño de dos años.

Da gusto encontrarse con este tipo de empresas, todo de 10 servicio perfecto devolví el.deposito con más gasolina en fuerteventura y me lo dieron de extra en lanzarote, bravo, pero es que además yo cometí el.error de reservar el coche en otra sucursal diferente a la que fui, ningún problema en 2 minutos la amable persona del mostrador lo soluciono y me dio el.coche de mi reserva, 0 problemas a la hora de devolver el coche, además son súper rápidos para todo, ni colas ni esperas seguid así Cicar por algo todo el mundo nos recomendó alquilar con vosotros

Die Buchung des Mietwagen war problemlos. Haben auch das gewünschte Auto erhalten. Unser Kreuzfahrtschiff hatte leider Verspätung. Das hatten wir auch telefonisch angekündigt. Bei der Abholung war dann nur ein Mitarbeiter vor Ort. Zum Glück waren wir mit die ersten. Der Rest musste über eine Stunde warten. Trotzdem nehmen wir gerne wieder ein Auto von Cicar

Las dos personas que me atendieron fueron muy agradables y simpáticas, el precio incluyendo seguro a todo riesgo y conductor adicional es muy bueno, y el coche estaba en perfectas condiciones.

Fast and efficient service. The lady who served us was very kind. Here we changed vehicles very easily, when the tire on the one we had originally rented went flat. Here we also returned easily and quickly the vehicle we had rented to the airport.

Leider ist unsere Anmietung ziemlich schief gelaufen :-( Wir hatten online ein Auto bei Cicar (Kreuzfahrthafen) gebucht. Das Kreuzfahrtschiff legte an diesem Tag aber in Los Marmoles an, wo leider kein Schalter von Cicar ist, was uns aber nicht bekannt war. Wir mussten - wie andere Gäste auch - dann rund 50 Minuten zum nächsten Cicar Schalter marschieren, sehr ärgerlich! Ein Upgrade auf die nächst höhere Fahrzeugkategorie war zwar nett, konnte die verlorene Zeit aber nur teilweise wettmachen.

Leider ist bei der -letztlich erfolglosen Anmietung- am Kreuzfahrthafen auf Lanzarote- Los Marmoles einiges schief gelaufen. Ich hatte online ein Auto bei Cicar gebucht, wie andere Gäste der AIDA Sol auch. An diesem Tag legte die AiDA am Hafen in Los Marmoles an, wo leidet kein Schalter von Cicar ist. Wir warteten 1.5 Stunden vergeblich auf einen Shuttle, obwohl dieser uns nach in den 7 Anrufen jedes Mal versichert wurde. Am Ende sollten wir ein Taxi zum nächsten Cicar Schalter nehmen, dieses sollte uns erstattet werden - dies wurde aber verweigert, weil wir uns nicht in die Schlange (2 Stunden Wartezeit) anstellen wollte. Cicar auf Lanzarote- Nein danke. Auf Fuerteventura lief bei Cicar alles super.

Local Autovermietung der Wahl, der eigentlich direkt am Kreuzfahrthafen mit kleiner Station vertreten, ist leider im Winter nie besetzt. Kurze Wegstrecken bis zur Station also immer einplanen. Unsere Vorab- Reservierung problemlos, vor Ort dann das grosse Chaos & Frust, da ca 100 Schiffsgäste gleichzeitig vom Schiff runter sind und ihr gemietetes Auto in Empfang nehmen wollten. Cicar Büro war leider nur mit 1 Mitarbeiterin besetzt, was zu extrem langen Wartezeiten geführt hatte. Auto und gebuchte Zusatzleistungen gab's dann irgendwann auch (innerhalb 3 minütiger Abfertigung) . Zustand unseres Autos war zufriedenstellend (erhebliche kleinere Schäden an der Karosserie, aber gut... ist halt Spanien! hat keinen gestört ) faire 4/4 er Benzinregelung

4eme fois que je réserve avec CICAR aux Canaries ( Tenerife et Lanzarote) et franchement le meilleur service de locations de voitures que je connaisse. Rapide , facile , bon accueil, pas d'arnaque . Je recommande CICAR à tous mes amis et collègues et hâte de revenir dans les Canaries et utiliser vos services 👍🏽👍🏽

Ohne Worte! Wir haben eine! Stunde auf unser reserviertes Auto warten müssen. Am Kreuzfahrtterminal wurde alle mit einen Bus abgeholt obwohl hier ein Cicar Büro ist. Eine Person hat alle Kunden abgefärtigt. Die andere Dame hat nur zugeschaut. Der Wagen war total abgenutzt und verschrammt. Von den anderen Inseln sind wir einen besseren Service gewohnt.

Ewig lange Wartezeiten, bis zu einer Stunde bis man an der Reihe ist. Keine Seperation zwischen Leuten die reserviert haben oder nicht. Für Kreuzfahrtgäste nicht praktikabel.

начну с того, что здесь я смогла взять автомобиль без бронирования заранее. Пришла - через 10 мин была уже за рулем. Предоставили авто в отличном состоянии. Все прошло быстро и просто. Более того, я смогла вернуть автомобиль у отеля (там оказался их офис) хотя до этого прописали, что верну где брала. Помимо этого хоть и взяли данные карты, но смогла оплатить аренду наличностью, так как мне это было удобно из-за того, что курс моего банка невыгодный. Спасибо большое за сотрудничество и за мой отдых.

Auto ohne Reservierung noch bekommen. Schnell vom Schiff zu erreichen und die Autos stehen auch gleich hinter dem Gebäude. Service sehr nett und freundlich. Abfertigung schnell und gut.

Vorsichtig Abzocke!!! Erst 45 min in der Schlange warten , dann falschen Wagen und nicht voller Tank wird als voll verkauft!

Hier jetzt schon mehrmals Mietwagen ausgeliehen. Es hatte nur bis jetzt alles geklappt. Jedoch sollte das Büro öfters besetzt sein.

Unmanned office, if you can call it an office at all. Be careful with Cicar bookings in Arrecife, be sure to keep the right pick-up or drop-off place.

There is no office. Not a single person. We've been here twice. In the morning, to confirm that this is the place we will be returning the car to. And in the evening, to actually return the car. Both times the place was closed.

La cola es horrible. Cuando llegas de crucero. Coches viejos no limpios y 56 euros si o si y no te explican. Lo de la gasolina. Me gusta Cicar para alquilar pero así no. Una casetilla de cartón en un portal de un edificio y por el doble de precio. No todo vale en el turismo. Cicar tiene que ser sinónimo de calidad y esta forma de alquiler no lo es

Car hire itself was ok, vehicle was as expected. However, no one was present at the cruise terminal where we arrived and instead we had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to collect us and take us to the main terminal where we could get our vehicle. I then had to drive back to the previous terminal to collect my passengers which wasted more time. Paperwork said that we had 3/4 of a tank of fuel but vehicle only had 1/4. Problem was sorted immediately but glad I paid attention.

If you want to rent a car in Gran Canaria or Tenerife at an affordable price look at CICAR. The cars sometimes have a little bit of damage on the interior (like air vents a bit damaged) or the outside (some scratches) but nothing too serious. But the cars drive perfectly and have low mileage. So recommended for people who want a good car for a reasonable budget. The saved money you can spend on the rest of your vacation. If you got money to burn or don't care then go Hertz or Avis but it'll cost you considerably more.
