Ayer hicimos una ruta de barranquismo en Río Verde con niños de 8 y 9 años. La profesionalidad de David nos dio tranquilidad ante los diferentes desafíos a los que se enfrentaban los niños. Experiencia recomendable al 120%. Disfrutaron los niños, pero también lo hicimos los mayores. What a great way to spend the day. We did the Caminito Del Rey Via Ferrata with David. Very small group & he was awesome! Very encouraging & just fun fun fun! Highly recommend and know you’ll get a nice workout doing it🤗

Rio Verde Canyoning — absolutely fantastic and unforgettable I can't find enough words to describe what I experienced and how I felt 🩵 Definitely one of my most unforgettable adventures so far. Everything was perfectly organized, the equipment was provided, and we, as a group of beginners with no experience, were in very good hands with David. He made sure we all felt comfortable and gave us the right instructions at all times. I am very grateful for this fantastic day. If you are a nature lover, you must see and feel the sparkling, refreshing, crystal-clear waters of the Rio Verde — and don't worry, there are always alternatives if you don't want to jump in and prefer to take it slow. Erg genoten van deze canyoning! Super mooie omgeving en een uitdagende route. De gids paste het niveau goed aan aan de groep. Houdt er wel rekening mee dat de route ernaartoe wel een tijdje duurt en erg hobbelig is, maar dat is het wat ons betreft zeker waard! Communicatie vooraf was ook goed. Wij raden het zeker aan!

Local Experiences & Adventures are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The experience was everything and more! My friend and I visited Spain from Miami. We were staying in Sevilla but we booked the Via Ferrata excursion in El Rey Del Caminito because I became obsessed with the views I had seen online. We had to take a 4 hour train (Renfe Trainline) to El Chorro, where it leaves you in the exact location. The views was spectacular, photos do not do it justice! As I mentioned, we are from Miami so we are not used to mountains nor have experience hiking. So although we were excited, we were also very nervous… I personally was super excited until the moment we were about to start and I was consumed by my nerves and limiting beliefs and I informed David, the instructor and the group that I was not going to do it and I was just going to leave and explore the town of Malaga…. However, David literally climbed back down to make sure if that’s what I wanted to do…. Long story short, I am extremely thankful and thrilled that the instructors, David and Javier and the group that were also doing the excursion for encouraging me to conquer my fear, soak in the beauty of the scenery, the adrenaline of achieving the journey! In other words, if you’re in Spain and want to experience a great time, get out of your comfort zone or connect with nature, I highly recommend booking an excursion with Local Experiences & Adventures! They are professionals, welcoming and create a space for an incredible experience! Local Experiences & Adventures son ABSOLUTAMENTE INCREÍBLES! La experiencia fue todo y más! Mi amiga y yo visitamos España desde Miami. Estábamos alojados en Sevilla pero reservamos la excursión de Vía Ferrata en El Rey Del Caminito porque me obsesioné con las fotos que había visto en Internet. Tuvimos que coger un tren de 4 horas (Renfe Trainline) hasta El Chorro, donde te deja en el lugar exacto. Las vistas eran espectaculares, las fotos no le hacen justicia! Como mencioné, somos de Miami, por lo que no estamos acostumbrados a las montañas ni tenemos experiencia en caminatas. Entonces, aunque estábamos emocionados, también estábamos muy nerviosos… Yo personalmente estaba súper emocionado hasta el momento en que estábamos por comenzar y estaba consumido por mis nervios y creencias limitantes y le informé a David, al instructor y al grupo que no iría. para hacerlo y ya me iba a ir a explorar el pueblo de Málaga…. Sin embargo, David literalmente volvió a bajar para asegurarse de que eso era lo que quería hacer... Para resumir, estoy extremadamente agradecido y emocionado de que los instructores, David y Javier y el grupo que también estaban haciendo la excursión por animarme a vencer mi miedo, sumergirme en la belleza del paisaje, ¡la adrenalina de lograr el viaje! En otras palabras, si estás en España y quieres pasar un buen rato, salir de tu zona de confort o conectarte con la naturaleza, ¡te recomiendo reservar una excursión con Local Experiences & Adventures! ¡Son profesionales, acogedores y crean un espacio para una experiencia increíble!

Perfect organization, flexible and on point, with a lovely experience overall. The tour is very friendly for inexperienced travellers, although a good physical shape is still recommended!

They lost all our photos and videos of the trip (which really upset the kids) and only offered a credit for one free return trip which we’ll never use. Canyoning with Frank on Rio Verde. Good guide but equipment very tatty, no boots provided unless paid extra…

David es un encanto, muy cercano, cuidando cada detalle de la experiencia en incluso de explicarnos el entorno, recomendaciones para visitar después, …Sin duda repetiremos con ellos para hacer otras de las experiencias que ofrecen… pero en esta ocasión reservando directamente con ellos 😉… muchas gracias David por ayudarnos a disfrutar de esta experiencia unica , incluso para los novatos .

We had an absolutely fantastic time doing the via ferrata with David and Fran. I had been apprehensive taking our 10 year old son but these concerns were quickly erased with us being carefully guided through each part of the climb. It was one of the best experiences we have had and I could not recommend more!

Très déçu de cette expérience, faite dernière semaine de Juillet. Bien que la veille on est confirmé le lieu du rendez-vous, on a été oublié au lieu du rendez-vous à Nerja et avons été obligé de prendre notre voiture pour retrouver le guide . Sans plus d’excuses que cela ni aucune compensation financière (1h30 de voiture aller-retour). Le site est très beau et la descente très agréable sans trop de difficultés. Par contre, le guide ne nous a partagé aucune information particulière sur le site et la descente manque cruellement de fun. Après une semaine, on réclame les photos de l’expérience et là, on nous dit que la carte a été perdu… aucun souvenirs avec nos enfants… La plus mauvaise experience de canyoning que nous avons faite, ne mérite pas le prix payé, heureusement que le Rio Verde est un bel endroit….

Une via ferrata surplombant un paysage magnifique, encore plus beau au coucher du soleil ! David et son collègue ont assuré à la fois notre sécurité et l'ambiance sur le parcours varié, en prenant en compte les différents niveaux des participants. Nous les avons rejoints directement sur le site. La route d'accès, au bord de laquelle se prélassent des moutons, des chèvres et même des bouquetins, était une belle surprise. Je recommande !!!

David un chico encantador, adorable el cual se hace amar desde el primer momento, super gentil super atento, tanto en los kayak, como en el río como en todos nuestros experimentos, super versátil, siempre una sonrisa en la cara, siempre una energía preciosa q te enamora, para mí es de los mejores fichajes del año pasao, más apañao q un jarrillo de lata vaya, la integral de río verde es brutal, se nota q es un buen profesional, como conoce el río en cada esquina, cada brizna de planta, cada recoveco q el agua orodo año tras año... Gracias infinitas David, te extrañamos, te queremos, yo y todos los q siempre me acompañan 🐜🧅🫶🐿️

No tengo muchas palabras para describir esta clase de aventura,ya que lo que recomiendo es probarla al 100% para sentir lo que es algo asi!!!! I high recommend David and Frank from Local Experiences. We did 2 days with them 1 day canyoning in Rio Verde and 1 day mountain climbing and ziplining in Via Ferrata. The first is great on a hot day and great fun going down the river climbing and jumping not to strenuous and good fun. Second one needs a bit more stamina for the climbing but the views and the experience is amazing I went with my 3 grown up kids and our guide Frank and had 2 fantastic days. At the end of every day you get treated to some snacks and ice cold drinks. Beautiful highly recommended.

My son and I had an amazing time on the Via Ferrata course! It was our first time attempting a via ferrata and what an exhilarating challenge. The company was thoughtful enough to change the start time to the morning so that we climbed in the shade and avoided the harsh, Andalusian, summer sunshine. Our group of four and our guide were the only people on the whole mountain. Could not recommend it more highly!

Hicimos barranquismo (canyoning) con la empresa Local Experiences y fue una experiencia increíble de principio a fin. Nos recogieron en Nerja a las 8 de la mañana y fuimos en furgoneta hasta Río Verde con David, nuestro guía. Íbamos con un grupo de personas y desde el primer momento todo fue muy bien organizado. Antes de comenzar, David nos explicó detalladamente en qué consistía la actividad y nos dio todo el material necesario. Nos equipamos con lo que él llama la Andalusian Backpack, una mochila que incluye el neopreno, chaleco, arnés y una botella de agua. La caminata previa al tramo acuático no es muy exigente, pero sí conviene estar en forma, especialmente si hace calor, así que cuanto antes se empiece, mejor. Uno de los puntos clave fue el calzado. Aunque puedes usar tus propias zapatillas, David ofrece unas botas de montaña por 10 € extra y sinceramente merece muchísimo la pena. Son resistentes, cómodas y te protegen tanto en la caminata como dentro del agua, evitando resbalones y golpes con piedras. El entorno es precioso, especialmente en primavera, con árboles en flor y paisajes que parecen sacados de un cuento. Al llegar a una pequeña cascada con una laguna, empezó el recorrido acuático: saltos, toboganes naturales y descensos por el río. El agua está fría, pero con el calor se agradece mucho. Todo el trayecto es en bajada y David va guiándote en cada paso, explicando cómo saltar, dónde pisar, y asegurándose de que todos estén bien y seguros. Un detalle que nos encantó es que David está pendiente de hacer paradas en los puntos más bonitos para sacarte fotos (en pareja, en grupo, como quieras), algo que hace de forma voluntaria, sin cobrar nada, simplemente porque le nace y se nota que disfruta con lo que hace. Al acabar la caminata inicial incluso nos ofreció barritas energéticas para recuperar fuerzas, y al final del recorrido nos esperaba con frutos secos, zumos y agua para reponer energías. Son pequeños gestos que marcan la diferencia y que hacen que la experiencia sea aún más especial. En resumen: una actividad única, llena de adrenalina, en un entorno espectacular y guiada por alguien que se nota que ama lo que hace. Totalmente recomendable si estás por la zona. ¡5 estrellas sin dudarlo!

Lo que empezó con nervios y caras de ¿dónde nos hemos metido?, terminó siendo una experiencia brutal: llena de risas, adrenalina y paisajes de película. 🧗🏽‍♂️🌊 Te cuento cómo fue 👇🏽 Nos apuntamos a hacer barranquismo (o canyoning, como lo llaman algunos) en el Río Verde con el equipo de Local Experiences & Adventures, y no teníamos ni idea de lo que nos esperaba. ¿Cuánto dura? 🕐 El susto inicial se le pasó a Vicky en cuanto nos subimos a la furgo con David, que nos recibió con una sonrisa y reggae buen rollero. La experiencia total duró unas 6 horas, aunque el descenso por el río nos llevó unas 2h (hicimos el segundo tramo). ¡Y eso que hay rutas más largas! ¿Y el equipo? Vas equipado con todo: neopreno, casco… pero lo que nos flipó fueron las botas opcionales (10€). No sabíamos lo necesarias que eran hasta que las probamos. Nosotros fuimos con nuestras botas de trekking, pero no eran acuáticas ni protegían el tobillo, así que cambiamos a las suyas. Mano de santo. 🥾 ¿Da miedo? Depende de lo valiente que te sientas 😅 Pero la verdad, los grupos se adaptan al nivel de cada uno, y los monitores te dan una seguridad brutal. A nosotros no nos van las alturas, y aún así… ¡lo disfrutamos como niños! A veces el miedo está más en la cabeza que en la realidad. ¿Lo recomendamos? 100%. Se entiende por qué tienen tantas valoraciones positivas. Hablan castellano, inglés y francés, y los grupos son pequeños (8-10 personas), así que todo se vive con más cercanía y atención.

Elegimos Local Experience para hacer la ruta de barranquismo por el Río Verde con nuestros hijos de 18 y 19 años… Y la verdad es que la experiencia fue increíble. Fran fue nuestro guía y nos quedamos encantados… Fue educado, comprensivo y paciente con todos nosotros… Disfrutamos cada minuto y las fotos y vídeos que grabó quedaron genial. Mil gracias chicos por el buen trabajo! Es una experiencia divertidísima y sois muy profesionales !! Muy muy muy recomendable!

Wir haben vor ein paar Tagen das Canyoning mit Javier gemacht. Absolute Empfehlung, wenn ihr in Nerja und Umgebung seid! Es hat ungeheur viel Spaß gemacht und war ein wundervolles Abenteuer. Der Guide Javier ist super freundlich, lustig und macht einen echt super Job! Ihr bekommt zudem Bilder zugeschickt - und braucht euch um nichts zu kümmern oder mitnehmen. :)

I can only say amazing things about this company and our guide Javier!! To start, our guide got a flat tire but messaged us immediately to let us know and give us a timeline. We were picked up with a giant smile and an additional apology for the delay (even though it was no problem and we were assured it would not interfere with our tour (and it didn't). Javier was incredible!!! He was knowledgeable about even things he didn't have to be (we asked him a bunch of silly tourist questions about lots of things and he was so kind to respond). He was an excellent guide and waited for some of the slower people in the group. He was encouraging without being pushy (for example, with the high jumps, he always reminded us there was no pressure and we didn't have to do anything we weren't comfortable doing). He checked on everyone throughout and he was funny as well! I just cannot be more thrilled. If you want to canyon in Andalucia, use this company!!!

Es war wundervoll und abenteuerlustig zu gleich. Wir haben das Canyoning im Rio Verde gemacht. Unser Guide Javier war super und hat uns mit lustigen Geschichten durch die Landschaft geschickt und uns jedes Mal eine neue Herausforderung geboten. Von Abseilen, über rutschen, springen oder in eine Höhle klettern. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und man hatte das Gefühl gut aufgehoben zu sein. Ich würde es immer wieder machen! Das einzige was man noch wissen sollte wäre (zumindest war das bei uns so), dass man um 8:30 abgeholt wurde und wir um 15:30 wieder in Nerja waren. Aber die Zeit hat sich gelohnt und es war ein kleines Abenteuer. Probiert es aus und ihr werdet es nicht bereuen ;)

Our experience with local experiences and adventures was simply brilliant. We were a group of 5 and we had an outstanding private canyoning at Rio Verde with our amazing guide Daniel (Dani). Daniel was extremely well versed with the entire landscape of Rio Verde, his experience, knowledge, professionalism and friendly and patient approach was simply amazing. He took extra care and went out of the way to help us complete the entire canyoning and he constantly kept motivating us. Infact they even got us complimentary and snacks post the canyoning to replenish our energies which was extremely thoughtful of them. I highly recommend doing canyoning at rio verde with Daniel and the local experiences team. I would love to come back and experience other activities with them!!

Hace un tiempo hice una vía Ferrata en caminito del Rey y fue una auténtica pasada. He vuelto a repetir con ellos en barranquismo por el Río Verde y me ha encantado. Los recomiendo al 200% porque son la caña y porque son unos máquinas en estos temas. Transmiten seguridad y confianza. Aparte se enrollan mucho y son muy agradables. 😊

Ha sido una experiencia compuesta por diferentes momentos y retos y disfrutes por lo que ha sido completa y abundante. Para mí ha sido fundamental alquilar el calzado especial de ellos, que es muy barato. Con ese calzado realmente me he sentido muy segura y por tanto me he dejado llevar más optimizando la experiencia.

Incredible experience!! Our first time canyoning and it was a fantastic and thrilling experience which we would love to do again. Dani was an amazing guide and teacher and we learnt so much about not only the nature which we enjoyed but also how to stay safe while enjoying a really exciting sport. We got to do slides, rappels and jumps during the activity and all of these were so much fun! The location is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. We would 100% recommend this activity to anyone who enjoys adventure and nature at its best!

Had a great time canyoning. Javier was brilliant with my 9 year old and 11 year old. And thanks to the nice family we did it with for a bit of help as well. Highly recommended if you are anywhere Nerja and want an exciting day out 🙏🏻

Would certainly recommend the hike and snorkel tour! Beautiful hike with a lot of interesting information about the environment. Had a great tour with this company canyoning at the Río Verde. David is an awesome guide with tons of local knowledge and a great sense of humour. He made us all feel at ease and helped my daughter through many of the sections with patience. The scenery is beautiful and quite unique for Spain with crystal blue waters. For those that like adrenaline there are a few jumps but all feels very safe. A must if you are in the region.

Highly recommended. We had a great time hiking and caving with David in the hills above Nerja and Frigiliana. The activity was at the perfect level for our two boys, aged 8 and 10, and great for the time of year (February, sunny but not too hot). It was clear that David would be flexible and adapt for different abilities. He made the hike interesting and fun with stories and explanations about the history and nature of the area, and the caving will be something we remember for a long time (tip - don’t wear your best trousers). This was a highlight of our stay and we can’t wait to try other activities.

In January 2022 I decided to join the via Ferrata experience at Caminito del Rey with Local experiences & adventures. It has been my first via ferrata so I really didnt know what to expect and I was ready to be surprised. And “Oh My Dog!!”, you should not miss the opportunity!!, it is well worth your time!. David is a well experienced adventure guide and made everyone feel safe (most important!), heard and seen at all times, he is friendly, easy going and you can tell he loves what he does by the attention to every detail from start to end of the experience, all with a good sense of humour (very important too!). It is very well organized, information is clear at all times and he provides lots of interesting information allong the way. He even provides a few snacks at the end and has a great soundtrack in the car. The fact that he only takes small groups, really adds to the experience, as you feel amongst friends right away even if you are joining by yourself Do not hesitate; you are in good hands with this company. I can highly reccommend!! And I hope to join soon again! Thank you for everything David!

All through 5 star experience. Tour: Via ferrata Carminito del Rey. Us: Overcautious mom and overconfident 17 year old. Before: The closest experience was indoor climbing, so had MANY questions. Local Experience answered patiently and quickly, so we felt completely safe going. The trip: Beautiful, challenging - and safely led by David (guide), who with high spirits and attentiveness secured us somewhat of a party, and BIG smiles from start to finish. After: A light refreshment to celebrate the victory and an AWESOME day. Do not consider whether you should jump into it - you can safely sign up for the trip. WE will come back for more!

Great day exploring and canyonning. The area was beautiful and the host David was great. He made it all feel very safe and made sure we all had helmets, harnesses and very good 2-piece wet suits. Throughout our journey he gave us some interesting bits of knowledge about the local area, customs and produce and we finished off with a nice lunch before heading back. I've done something similar before but this location was special. The water was crystal clear and the mountains and views were picturesque. For those of you who like jumps, there was enough for all levels. I thought I was brave but the last jump gave me a reality check :O. All jumps were optional so you can wimp out like me if needed! Great day. Would do again 100%

En kayak vimos lugares preciosos, incluso cuevas, tiempo para hacer snorkel y ellos conocen los lugares con más vida del lugar... También hicimos otra ruta caminando y la verdad es que lo que vimos fue precioso e incluso se preocuparon por traer alguna cosa para picar de la zona, todo riquísimo... Siempre se adaptan al nivel que tienes preocupándose a cada rato de que todo el mundo pase una buena jornada... Súper agradecido por todo lo que hicieron por nosotros y totalmente recomendable realizar cualquier tipo de aventura con ellos... Un abrazo fuerte!!!

David was really a fun guide and super enthusiastic. The location was beautiful and the jumps were optional. My partner loved all the big jumps and I could scramble down to relax in the river pools and watch them jump! Snacks at the end were great too.

I really liked and enjoyed the activity today and spent a good time with the group. Earlier I was struggling to join as the meet up point wasnt near to the city am currently live at and bit far to make it in the morning but the person who in charged really helped me alot by providing me all the possible method and bus information and to be able to meet them at the city of almuñecar; which is also on the way to the destination for canyoning. Overall the service was excellent and the tour guide took care alot of my need especially my first time for canyoning. I am very happy and would really recommend this tour and this company for any of the activities. Gracias en todas! 😄

David is the man. Great communication and easy pick up in the morning. The hike and entire day exceeded our expectations. Great hike, awesome private beach and picnic, and he took us to a great place for tapas and drinks afterwards. David is a kind dude who loves people and has a true appreciation for nature. When my ignorant American self brought a speaker to jam reggaetone on the beach, he kindly asked if I could turn it off so we could enjoy the sounds of the ocean. That is one song I can always vibe with! On top of all of this, I forgot my backpack in his van at the end of the day. He drove an hour out of his way and didn’t request any money to drive back to the restaurant to return it to me. Great guide, great human. Book the tour.

David and Javier were amazing guides and experience was one we will remember for a long time. This was our first via ferrata, so it was a bit scary at first. But David was fun, easy-going, but also trustworthy and comforting as we began our climb. Definitely an adventure worth booking!

We had so much fun canyoning with David and Javier!!! We got to go down the most beautiful river, jump off rocks and cliffs, and rappel down rocks and under waterfalls. They pushed us out of our comfort zone but never pressured us to cross our boundaries. I experienced so many new things in a safe environment that I would never have been able to on my own. I absolutely loved this experience and would highly highly recommend canyoning with them!!!!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would!!! My friends and I went on their canyonning excursion, none of us have ever done anything like that before, and we had a blast!!! Our trip was lead by David and Javier, both guys were amazing, knowledgable, confident, and reassuring. They never forced us to do anything we weren't comfortable with, but always cheered us on even if we were nervous. We tried so many new things like cliff jumping, repelling down a waterfall and walking through rivers! Truly an experience we will never forget! They also had a ton of recommendations for other things to do/ eat while in Nerja! In addition to their excellent service during the excursion, my friend thought she left behind a bracelet in the van and I texted David to ask if he could look for the bracelet and bring it to where we were before we had to get on our bus to Málaga, like less than 30 minutes before we left. He read my message and left so fast to bring the van for us to check, that he never read my message that my friend had found her bracelet in her backpack, until he got there 10 minutes later. They also were able to accommodate our luggage, given that we were leaving Nerja later that day, and store it in the van. The guides truly went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic and one we will always remember!

My girlfriend and I have decided to spice up our chilly beach holiday with some sporty activity. The "Caminito del Rey" trail was a little too boring for us. The "Via Ferrata" seemed to be a perfect solution with Thrill. David picked us up warmly and super punctually in Malaga to drive to the mountain (about 1 hour). After putting on the top modern safety equipment and a detailed safety briefing on site, we went directly up the mountain. Despite my fear of heights, David always gave me a good and safe feeling. But in any case you need stamina and willpower. Eat 2-3 bananas before in any case ;) For my girlfriend and me it was definitely a unique tour, which will stay positive in our memories for a lifetime. I'm sure we'll tell about this outstanding event at one or the other party. When we come to Malaga again, we will certainly book other activities with David. La mejor actividad cerca de Malaga! El día de mi cumpleaños (principios de septiembre) decidí hacer barranquismo por el Río Verde de nivel facil, ya que era mi primera vez que haría "canyoning". Antes de la experiencia: + Fácil comunicación. Muy rápidos en responder. + Muy profesionales! Me mandaron un PDF con todas las informaciones que tuviera que saber: punto de encuentro, duración del viaje, y todas mis dudas fueron resueltas directamente. + Incluido era transporte, material técnico, picnic, fotos y vídeos, entrada al parque natural, guia official, seguro de accidentes y mucho más! + Para hacer la reserva fueron flexibles. Recomiendo de todas formas que las personas hagan la reserva lo antes posible, ya que solamente tienen un número de plazas limitados para cada día y por actividad. En este caso tuve mucha suerte, ya que encontraron una solución este día (al ser mi cumple) cuando ya no había plaza. La experiencia: + La recogida fue en Nerja, y nos fuimos en coche hacia Otívar. La actividad empezó en la cascada más espectacular: "la i griega", un salto que supera los 10 metros de altura. + El camino incluye andar por la naturaleza con vistas increibles. Superar varios obstáculos naturales: rapelar cascadas de aguas cristalinas, varios saltos y cascadas (con la dirección y ayuda del guía nos hizo no tener miedo en cada momento), pasar por una cueva y nadar en piscinas naturales preciosas. + El equipo: Fernanda y David, hicieron esta experiencia muy especial, haciendo sentir a todos como un equipo en cada momento. Además me cantaron feliz cumpleaños varias veces. Después del deporte de aventura: + Me quedé con ganas de más y no cambiaría a ninguna otra agencia de aventuras. La siguiente vez que este cerca haré con la misma empresa: la vía ferrata en zafarraya, del caminito del rey y de comares. También me gustaría hacer el sendero suspendido, el barranco intensivo y de almanchares. + El picnic incluido estaba bien variado: palillos, tomates de su jardín, frutos secos, hummus, y una botella de agua. (Tener en cuenta que os ofrecen un detalle más para que tengáis la mejor experiencia posible. Si queréis algo en concreto os recomiendo que lo lleváis desde casa.) Impresión general: La mejor actividad y más original que tienes que hacer en Malaga! Me ha dejado los mejores recuerdos. Repetiría en cualquier momento. Y se lo recomendaría a todos mis amigos si visitan la zona, y quieren hacer algo diferente de espiritu aventurero. Además viene genial de regalo de cumpleaños o para ocasiones especiales! Experiencia brutal !!!! Nunca habia hecho barranquismo y es un chute de adrenalina brutal, ademas del contacto con la naturaleza. El guia es sin duda el mejor que puede haber para que te acompañe en esta experiencia, no hay nadie que se conozca mejor el sitio, ni tio con mas arte, a la vez que profesional y preocupado por la seguridad del grupo. David est un animateur géniale ! Nous avons fait du canyoning à Rio verde et du kayak à la playa de Maro. Au cours des ces 2 activités, David nous a partagé ses connaissances de la nature. Les 2 lieux étaient magnifiques ! Nous nous sommes bien amusés et nous avons bien rigolés avec David. Les plus: - Il parle français - Un picnic ou goûter après les activités - Il s'adapte a notre rythme - Des photos et vidéos souvenirs nous sont envoyés à la fin des activités (très beau souvenir) - Pour le canyoning: petit groupe de 8 personnes et arrivé assez tot sur le lieu afin de pouvoir profitez des paysages et des cascades (que nous avons pu sauter au plusieurs reprises !!!) Sans trop de monde - Tarif correct Le seul point négatif est le service client lors de la réservation. Nous avons l'impression qu'il est possible de s'adapter a tous ce qu'on veut. Une personne devait être ajouté à la dernière minute cependant lors de la confirmation pour l'ajout de cette personne il n'y avait plus de place.... Le service client n'est pas ferme dans ses prises de décisions. Ce point a été remonté à David (et j'espère sera amélioré...) Et est à améliorer. Malgré ce point négatif qui m'a énormément contrarié je ne retire pas d'étoile car David reste un excellent animateur et nous n'hésiterons pas à refaire une activité avec lui!

Our family of five (ages 7+) had a fabulous morning kayaking with David!! Everything was great from start to end. We loved being out in the water, learning about the flora and fauna, and getting to see the beautiful coast from the water. Perfect amount of activity and pace! Definitely recommend.

Una experiencia INCREÍBLE. Desde el primero momento el trato recibido por parte de David y Fernanda ha sido fantástico. Son personas que se preocupan porque la experiencia sea única desde el primer momento. Son atentos, agradables y muy simpáticos. La ruta preciosa, muy bien organizada. Unas vistas increíbles. Hicimos la vía ferrata del caminito del rey, una preciosidad de sitio, la verdad que como primera experiencia se aprende mucho de uno mismo, se ponen a prueba los miedos y si o si se llega al final, merece mucho la pena. Una experiencia de autosuperación en un entorno precioso y con un monitor que nos transmitió tranquilidad durante todo el recorrido. Para reservar sin pensárselo dos veces, casi 4h de vida a un precio súper asequible. Un tesorico de tarde la que pasamos ayer, muchas gracias

Maravillosa experiencia. El barranco Del Río Verde es espectacular, pozas de aguas cristalinas, cascadas, saltos y toboganes naturales preciosos. Un parque acuático natural. David nos ha ido explicando todo, transmitiéndonos confianza durante todo el recorrido. Todos los saltos tenían un camino alternativo, ningún salto es obligatorio, pero nos atrevimos a hacerlos todos y ha sido divertidísimo. Estoy deseando volver a repetirlo. Totalmente recomendable.

Contratamos el recorrido recomendado para niños y yo y mis dos acompañantes de 10 años disfrutamos como pocas veces El río Verde es de una belleza difícil de imaginar, con multitud de saltos espectaculares y unas aguas de sueño. David, nuestro guía es un profesional impecable:amable, ameno, experto y con un don especial con los niños. Trasmite seguridad en todo momento y el material está flamante. Lo recomiendo a todos mis conocidos y repetiremos seguro.

Going on a hike with David or Fernanda is just fantastic. They take realy good care of you with joy and exitement. I will recomend all who goes to Nerja to take contact with LOCAL Experiences & Adventures. I had a real super day going with a group on the beautiful river Rio Chilar. Lovely Fernanda leaded us safely, and brought us a nice lunch that we enjoyed together close to a litle waterfall. I am realy looking foreward to next time I am coming from Norway to Nerja. Absolutely fantastic canyoning tour with David. Spectacular, exciting, adventurous, it couldn't have been any better. David was in no rush, he let people jump more than once, since it was so much fun. No pressure on those who didn't want to jump. We felt extremely safe the whole time. Conocimos a David realizando una ferrata en el chorro. Nos sorprendió lo cuidado que tenía los equipos, la información adicional que aportó durante todo el trayecto, el conocimiento de la zona y su manejo de los idiomas. Decidimos realizar barranquismo en río verde con su empresa(ya habíamos realizado algunos barrancos anteriormente), y nuestro agrado fue aún mayor. Los equipos estaban totalmente nuevos, éramos un grupo amplio y estuvo atento en todo momento y adaptándose a nosotros. Al final, nos preparó un pequeño picnic con productos de la zona que cultiva de forma ecológica acompañados de una cerveza bien fría! Actividades 100% recomendables, sin ninguna duda repetiremos!

Ha sido una experiencia genial! Nos lo hemos pasado de maravilla y los niños han disfrutado muchísimo. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Los piratas tienen muy buen rollo, se conoce la zona que no es accesible y se ven cosas muy curiosas como el manantial o los tomates de mar. Mil gracias PIRATAS!

El pasado 10 de julio estuvimos con ellos en su nueva Ruta Pirata en la playa de Maro. Esta nueva ruta está orientada a los más pequeños, para que se inicien en la actividad de kayak y conozcan más a fondo la zona. Fue una experiencia maravillosa, tanto para las niñas como para los dos adultos que las acompañamos. La atención fue en todo momento excepcional y nos sentimos totalmente seguros con ellos. Las pequeñas, de 9 años, se lo pasaron maravillosamente, ya que la temática pirata les encantó y tanto David como Fernanda son unos grandes especialistas en la zona y su conocimiento adaptado a niños les permitió divertirse de una manera segura y muy amena. Gracias chicos por vuestro excepcional trabajo, ¡sin duda vamos a repetir muchas más veces!

VIA FERRATA - Caminito Del Rey Aucun regret concernant cette expérience ! Certainement une des plus belles pendant notre séjour à Malaga. Nous avons eu la chance d’être seuls avec David qui est un guide incroyable ! Nous avons donc pu saisir toutes les informations concernant la sécurité durant l’activité. Un réel plaisir de faire cette activité avec un local.
Il connaît le parcours sur le bout des doigts et cela nous met vraiment à l’aise !
Tout l’équipement était évidemment fourni, David s’est même chargé de prendre des photos et des vidéos avec sa GoPro, nous permettant de profiter à 100% de l’activité et surtout de la vue, nous offrant une liberté mentale et une liberté tout court. Nous n’avons raté aucun détail et avons en plus des souvenirs à ramener chez nous. 
Le paysage est à couper le souffle, un plaisir pour les yeux ! Tyrolienne, pont de singe et pont tibétain seront au rendez-vous, on sort de sa zone de confort tout en se sentant parfaitement en sécurité ! 
L’activité reste une activité sportive, avis aux personnes ayant le vertige, regarder plutôt les autres activités de David, vous y trouverez la même qualité, nous avons eu la chance de réserver une deuxième activité avec David pour en attester, pour les plus amoureux de la hauteur, n’hésitez plus ! David est un guide exemplaire qui aime l’humain, il vous le prouvera par sa personnalité bienveillante, par son accueil chaleureux et son envie de partager. Il nous a complètement sorti du concept du guide, nous avons juste eu l’impression de passer un bon moment avec un ami. RIO VERDE - CANYONING Ce fut notre second activité avec David, celle-ci se déroulant un peu plus loin que la première, nous avons dû prendre un bus pour rejoindre le point de rendez-vous, aucun problème pour nous y rendre, David nous a plus que mâché le travail en nous envoyant l’itinéraire, un réel professionnalisme qui nous allège des tracas, nous permettant de profiter une nouvelle fois de notre séjour à 100% sans stress inutile. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un groupe avec différentes cultures ( Américaine, suédoise, espagnole ) cela nous a permis de faire de nouvelles connaissances, tout le monde y a mis du sien et David a su créer une réelle cohésion de groupe, nous appelant “ Famille” tout au long de l’activité; rire, partage et bienveillance au rendez-vous. 
Concernant l’activité, une fois de plus, un réel plaisir, certes l’eau était fraîche mais on ne se repose pas, il y a de quoi avoir chaud ! L’équipement est toujours fourni, seul votre maillot de bain est requis. Une fois en combinaison, dans l’eau, la réelle aventure commence, David connaît le chemin sur le bout des doigts, toujours armé de sa GoPro, il s’organise pour que nous ayons autant de souvenirs que possible tout en pouvant profiter de l’instant présent. Le paysage, l’eau, le soleil, laissez vous porter par la nature et son courant ! Avenant, David nous sécurise, nous rassure surtout lors des sauts, vous avez toujours un plan B si vous ne vous sentez pas à l’aise, mais faites le, c’est une réelle opportunité de sortir de sa zone de confort, toujours en sécurité. 

Nous avons passés nos deux dernières journées avec David, ce fut la cerise sur la gâteau de notre séjour. David connaît son métier par cœur mais l’exerce toujours avec la même passion et il arrive à nous donner son énergie. Le rôle de guide a été rempli à 200%, attentionné, il n’a pas hésiter à nous conseiller un délicieux restaurant de ceviche dans le centre de Malaga, et il n’a pas hésitez non plus à nous souhaiter un bon retour le jour de notre départ, des petites attentions qui changent tout et nous donne foi dans l’humain et sa bonté ! Nous ne pouvons espérer qu’une chose , que nos chemins se croisent de nouveau !

Hice Río Verde con dos niños de 11 y 9 años y no se me ocurre nadie mejor para hacerlo que David. Estuvo atento con ellos y con los adultos, haciendo dinámico el barranco para todos, y dándonos seguridad, atención y mucha diversión. No tengo palabras suficientes de agradecimiento. Para repetir muchas más veces.

El recorrido en kayak por los acantilados de Maro ha sido una auténtica maravilla, la naturaleza en plena expresión: acantilados escarpados, cuevas, transparentes aguas color turquesa, aves, peces... David es encantador y amable y ha estado pendiente de todo lo que ocurría en el grupo. Nos ha ido explicando muchas cosas interesantes sobre la fauna, la flora, leyendas... ¡Magnífico guía! Si podemos volver, ¡seguro que repetimos!

Die geilsten Outdoor Touren in Spanien !! Versuch jede Tour ihr werdet es nicht bereuen!!! Hier sieht man Dinge die einem sonst verborgen bleiben und entdeckt die Schönheit Südspaniens. Ich komme seit 3 Jahren jedes Jahr nach Malaga und nehme an verschiedenen Touren mit David teil und ich kann nur sagen was euch ihr geboten wird das bekommt ihr nirgendwo anders. Ich manche der angebotenen Touren mehrfach gemacht und immer wieder etwas neues entdeckt. Es ist unbeschreiblich schön was ihr hier geboten bekommt!!!!!!

I did via ferrata and canyoning with them a few times and fully entrust them to make it a safe and great experience for everybody even in case anything unexpected would have happened. Swedish: Helt fantastiska guider, bland the finaste och roligaste jag träffat. De bryr sig verkligen om miljön de arbetar i och kommer dela med sig av den på bästa och säkraste sätt!

The tour was really fun and entertaining, the environment is beautiful and David and his colleagues are extremely friendly and patient, they help you feel comfortable during the whole program. I was being lame with the parking at the arrival to the event as Im coming from a “no hills flat country” and David even jumped right away to help me out :) It was my first time of such type of kayak tour and i would have gone back the next day to repeat it if i could, so I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to have a few hours of laugh, relaxed sport and listening interesting local stories.

We had such a wonder time kayaking with David and others this morning. The weather was perfect, and the water was clear and beautiful! David was very attentive and made sure we all had a good time. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Nerja and was a great tour guide along the way. He took lots of cool pics of us which was great because I didn’t bring my phone with me in the kayak. We had a bit of free time to swim and snorkel as well. Afterwards he provided snacks for us and some fresh tomatoes from his garden. I would 100% recommend this!

Very nice hiking and snorkeling tour with an incredible friendly host. We learned a lot about the region and had a nice picnic at the beach. I would do this tour again at anytime.

What a perfect day to get out of the heat! We had an absolutely beautiful day in the canyon on the Rio Verde! David & Max were amazing guides! Very knowledgeable, friendly & our small group of seven had a blast! Highly recommended! One of the best experiences we had while visiting Granada & Nerja. We had a fabulous time on our kayak trip with David. He was energetic, friendly, and so accommodating to everyone on the trip. My husband doesn’t swim well and was nervous about the experience, but David and his colleague looked out for him throughout the trip. They checked in with everyone and knew us all by name and nationality, and David explained everything in Spanish/English/French to be understood and accommodate everyone. It was a longer excursion, and they provided the option to return to shore on a small motorboat instead of continuing to paddle. It was a great experience and we highly recommend it.

Esta mañana estuvimos haciendo Paddle Surf en la Playa de Maro, nuestro monitor Juanlu ha estado atento a nosotros en todo momento, muy agradable y simpático. El sitio era una preciosidad, aguas cristalinas y todo muy cuidado. El material también estaba bastante bien. El resto de personal también muy agradable y profesional. Ha sido una experiencia para repetir.

Hicimos el evento en kayak. No podemos estar más agradecido mi mujer estadounidense y yo a David y al chico con rastas (no recuerdo su nombre perdón) nos lo hicieron pasar como enanos. Yo que no se nadar y en todo momento preocupados para que todo fuera bien. Se pueden poner 10 estrellas ? Se las merecen. Al final del evento nos invitaron a un ágape para reponer energías ya que la vuelta en kayak fue de seguido y al final estábamos agotados pero había gente que si estaba cansada podía volver en lancha. David si nos lees eres un crack gracias por todo y te deseamos lo mejor

Amazing experience with David. What a charismatic man extremely knowledgeable of the local peculiarities of Nerja and surroundings and a great entertainer and profesional guide. He took us to a local “pescadería” which would have been imposible to reach without his advice, and we had an amazing kayak day at one of Nerja’s nicest beaches. Highly recommended if you want to have a good local and entertaining experience in Nerja.

Canyoning i Rio Verde med Local Experiences & adventures var en fantastisk upplevelse. Under flera timmar tog vi oss ner längst floden i en fantastisk natur. Vår guide David var en mycket trevlig och duktig på det han gör, och gjorde upplevelsen oförglömlig. Rekommenderas starkt om ni vill uppleva naturen på ett nytt sätt och samtidigt aktivera er under semestern! 5 plus!

So viel Eindrücke und Bilder konnte ich noch nie Sammeln. David hat uns viel über die Gegend beigebracht, indem er auf der Fahrt über Pflanzen, Brücken und das Ökosystem geredet hat, absolut interessant! Es war eine gute Kombination aus guter Ausicht und Weiterbildung, als wäre es eine Städtereise. Über die Aktivität selbst bin ich immer noch sprachlos. Diese Ausicht war phänomenal! Es errinert an das Paradies. Man hat sich mit der Gruppe immer sicher gefühlt. Hand auf mein Herz, schönste Erfahrungen in meinem bisherigen Leben. Zum Schluss gab es vielseitige Snacks, die außerordentlich Satt gemacht haben. Danke David, für dieses kleine Abenteuer!

La balade est superbe, en pleine nature et David a fait attention à nous faire partir tôt pour éviter les rushs. Et pour les moins téméraires (comme moi 😅) il y a toujours une solution pour contourner le saut de l'ange et opter pour les sauts de poussins. Enfin, vous vous embarquez pour autre chose qu'une session de touristes où le guide est toujours pressé parce que David est vraiment passionné, vous montrera les caractéristiques de sa région qu'il a l'air de beaucoup aimer et prévoit l'apéro pour la fin...bref quelqu'un d'humain et de chaleureux. Pasamos un día excelente junto a David y Fernanda, los monitores. Comodidad para realizar la excursión y seguridad absoluta. Nos recogieron, viajamos hacia el punto de partida y comenzamos la ruta. Tuvimos que realizar algunos cambios en la ruta debido a la cantidad de numerosos grupos que habían haciendo la ruta de barranquismo y gracias a que éramos un grupo reducido agilizamos nuestro camino pudiendo hasta repetir los saltos en varias ocasiones. David es un gran profesional, me transmitió mucha seguridad a la hora de realizar las diferentes actividades y dándonos siempre indicaciones sobre como debíamos de actuar. Fernanda, su pareja, super simpática y atenta, una persona de 10. Ambos hablan varios idiomas, lo que transmite confianza a todos sus clientes. Al final de la excursión nos prepararon un pic-nic y pasamos un rato muy agradable. Tras hacer la ruta y ver los inconvenientes de otras empresas de llevar grupos de 20-30 personas, los recomiendo 100% por que trabajan con grupos reducidos y la atención que prestan es de mayor calidad. Nosotros repetiremos para hacer la ruta más larga!! Un saludo pareja!!

Me llamo Javier, y cuento mi exp. Fue mi novia Marina la que organizó un verano algo atípico, decidimos hace una vía ferrata. Ella nunca lo había echo. Pero sugestionada por vídeos del YouTube. Se le veía algo insegura. Llego el día D. El monitor David, se vio muy enrollado en el sentido de que venías a disfrutar, no a pasarlo mal. Primabas mucho la seguridad de sus palabras. A la hora de hacer paso en la vía, consejos, sobre todos pasarlo bien. Mi exp. En la vía ferrata es un tío preparado en el equipo que da mucha seguridad. Equipos como disipadores, arneses centrales, y adaptados al clima, hidratación por parte de ello. Y como colofón unas cervezas para celébralo. Mi opinión que fue un gran día, de 10 y disfruté como a eso veníamos.

We did a very nice canyoning trip (5 hours) with David! Nice guy and good guide! Its a beautiful natural park and the waters are very clear! We did some nice (big) jumps, rappeling, swimming en floating. David makes a lot of pictures en video’s that he sends by WhatsApps. Super nice tour and a good picnic after! Getting in contact with LOCAL is very easy through WhatsApps. We called on sunday and could join on tuesday. I would go again with LOCAL (David). Thanks again David 🙏

Excelentísimo trato por parte de David, muy atento a todos, se nos hizo el camino muy ameno mientras nos contaba todas las curiosidades que nos íbamos encontrando por el camino. Nos tenía preparado un picnic para el final de la aventura que no le faltó detalle alguno. Grupos reducidos para disfrutar al 100% de la experiencia. Con su gopro nos grabó por todo el recorrido. Wir waren heute mit David canyoning im Rio Verde und ich kann garnicht in Worte fassen wie unglaublich aufregend, anstrengend und Adrenalin pur das Ganze heute war!! Jedem zu empfehlen der etwas Besonderes im Urlaub machen möchte! David ist ein sehr erfahrener Guide und geht auf jeden ein. Gute Kondition ist zu empfehlen, da es erst ca 50 min mit der Ausrüstung auf dem Rücken in die Höhe geht und anschließend 3 1/2h wieder im Wasser runter! Neoprenanzug wird gestellt, der ist auch notwendig, da der Fluss auch bei 30 grad Außentemperatur nicht wirklich aufheizt. Von Sprüngen in die Tiefen, Abseilen und Felsen rutschen -> es ist alles dabei! Beim nächsten Urlaub gerne wieder!!

Après un trajet en van avec David jusqu’à la zone d’activité où il nous a fait partager son amour de sa région Andalouse, nous avons pratiqué du canyoning dans un paysage magnifique avec une petite randonnée et la descente dans le Rio Verde alternant toboggans, descente les pieds dans l’eau et plus (heureusement tout le matériel est fourni : combinaison et harnais), sauts dans des piscines naturelles et descentes en rappel ! Que du bonheur pour cette activité pratiquée en famille avec 2 ados !!! Un grand merci à David pour toutes ses explications et sa bonne humeur !

Hicimos barranquismo en Rio Verde. Experiencia única. No busquéis más. Nuestro guía David superatento en todo momento, un auténtico profesional. Trasnsmite seguridad y es muy ameno, se le nota la pasión por su trabajo y la transmite. Atendió todas mis dudas amablemente dias antes. Es más, pensando que para mojar el calzado lo mejor eran unas zapatillas viejas, craso error, se me abrieron las suelas y el "mago David" sacó de su mochila un rollo de cinta americana que evitó el desastre. Mis hijos de 15 y 19 fliparon. Una experiencia inolvidable que sin duda repetiré.

Nous sommes une famille française avec 2 enfants (16 et 9 ans) et nous avons réservé une séance de canyoning avec cette entreprise. Ça a été une super expérience, une journée géniale ! La prise en charge est totale et de qualité. Notre guide, David, est top ! Au delà de parler Espagnol, Français, Anglais et Portugais, il est hyper pro, bienveillant et on s'est senti en toute sécurité avec lui. Le parcours à Rio Verde est magnifique, le matériel est de bonne qualité et le guide est vraiment attentionné et s'adapte au niveau de chaque personne. Bref, nous avons vraiment adoré cette expérience et comptons bien refaire appel à cette structure pour d'autres aventures !

This experience was just amazing. It was everything we expected, and more! David was enthousiastic and always made sure that we were having fun, and that we were okay. He told us a lot about the surroundings and its plants and history. We felt safe during the whole trip. We never experienced any discomfort whatsoever. The pictures don’t do justice to the amazing environment. We would recommend this to anyone, without hesitation. We had a diverse group, but David made it possible for anyone to join!

David is a super guide! He is an extremely likeable, open, funny and communicative person - the perfect match for his job. There is so much he knows about the surroundings and he loves to share it with his guests. He speaks very good English and explains everything patiently until all is understood. We did two different tours with him, both times he was very caring, super prepared for every situation, highly professional, checking on us at all times. We did the rio-verde canoying tour with our kids and he made sure at all times that they were safe and comfortable. It was an absolute great experience! We had an awesome time with David from local experienced & adventures, he was very helpful and tonnes of energy the whole way through. We never felt unattended to despite having visitors in both Spanish and English backgrounds. We were given a lot of freedom as well and had a lot of fun! TL;DR - I would give this experience 10 stars, and I would highly recommend this experience, and David as a guide, to anyone. I had a really bad experience on a whitewater rafting trip a few years ago in the US, and it made me very afraid of water adventure excursions. However, because of all the great reviews of this experience, I thought I’d give it a try. I’d been wanting to try barranquismo for a while, but I wasn’t sure about the jumps. David assured me that the jumps were optional, and there was always an alternative for those who didn’t want to do the jumps. David was so kind and encouraging from the first moment. He explained everything clearly, made sure to enforce all of the safety measures, and he and the assistant guide Javier checked in with each person regularly throughout the whole trip to make sure everything was okay. It could not have been a better experience for me. I was not planning on doing any of the jumps, but I decided to try the first tiny jump (a few feet), and it was fine. Little by little, with the encouragement of David and the other people on the tour, I felt more comfortable and confident doing bigger and bigger jumps throughout the course of the day. David showed me some options for smaller alternative jumps and gave the option to skip them altogether if I wanted, but I ended up doing all of them, including the final and tallest jump. Even though this was a beginner-level tour, it was a big deal for me, and I was very nervous at the beginning of the day. The fact that I did any jumps was a huge accomplishment, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without David’s patience and encouragement. He and the other tour members helped me to be brave and to overcome a huge fear, and I will never forget that experience. All that aside, what a beautiful location! The drive up through the mountains was gorgeous, and David told us about the history of the area and pointed out different points of interest along the way. The hike up through the canyon was a nice start to the trip, and it made the cool water of the river even more refreshing. I normally take a lot of photos, but I was glad I left my phone behind and could just enjoy the scenery and focus on the experience. David and Javier took lots of great photos and videos and sent a link to us, so it wasn’t necessary to have a camera or phone. We started off with some little slides and jumps and then moved on to bigger jumps and rappels. Safety was the top priority, and I appreciated David’s professionalism and attention to detail in this. He also made sure everyone had a good time and was always smiling and cheering us on. Between the rappelling, slides, and jumps, we walked down the river and admired the natural beauty of the river and canyons. The water was crystal clear, and everywhere you looked was like a postcard. When we finished the descent, there was a typical Spanish picnic lunch (chorizo, dried fruits, nuts, chips, beverages, etc.) provided. As many other reviews have stated, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am so glad I signed up for this tour. I would definitely do it again!!!

We loved it! We went with our two 14yo teenagers and they really loved to do canyining with this super team. Fernanda, David and Javier are really nice people and very professional from begining to the end. My husband and I had a great time and an even greater adventure with David and Fernanda today! I want exactly sure what all we would be doing, but they were thorough with instructions and safety gear. David was always close to assist and had an extra rope to help feel secure on a particularly challenging part. They both took fabulous photos and video the whole time. This felt like such a great way to experience this area of Spain and was truly special- my husband says it’s his favorite travel experience we’ve had together. Yummy snacks and drinks at the end to celebrate as well! I would definitely encourage participants to be active and fit; everything is doable if you are!

We have done an amazing tour in March with David. The river and hiking path were awesome and the tour was filled with some fun surprises like jumping and sliding. Wonderful nature and good vibes!

We have been on 4 different tours as a family with Local Experiences & Adventure: Introduction to Caving, Pirate Kayaking, Via Ferrata and Canyoning. Every tour has been AMAZING! Our son was 7yrs old when we did caving, 8 for the Pirate Kayak and canyoning and 9 for the via ferrata. Great fun for all ages and the whole family. Couldn't recommend the guides David and Fernanda enough. We will continue to learn more about nature and see more of this beautiful part of the world with you.

Una verdadera gozada. Si pudiese poner 10 estrellas, pondría 35. No sólo el paisaje y la experiencia fue insuperable, sino tb los monitores. Durante el recorrido nos topamos con otros grupos de barranquismo, y mientras los otros monitores estaban de lo más serios, David, el nuestro, y tb Javier, eran todo sonrisas, bromas y amabilidad. No solo cargaban con el material que nos facilitaría el descenso por entre los cañones y se preocupaban en todo momento por nuestra seguridad, sino que nos invitaban a disfrutar más plenamente del maravilloso paisaje, ilustrándonos con conocimientos geográficos y mostrándonos y hablándonos de la fauna y la flora que nos rodeaba. Lo tengo claro: no he podido elegir mejor equipo. La vía ferrrata sin duda la haré con vosotros.

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME 🤩 I wish we could do this day all over again, some amazing memories made with great people. David is one of the best tour guides we've ever come across, hes informative, funny, and really knowledgeable and great at what he does, he had all the equipment ready for a fun packed day of hiking, canyoning, abseiling and jumping. We got picked up and David drove us into the National park, the views were out of this world, when we arrived we hiked up through the cliffs and finally came to the natural springs, the water was so clear and the surroundings breathtaking. The abseiling and jumps were great fun. I would honestly recommend this amazing experience to everyone, you won't be disappointed. Thankyou David for a super fun packed day and amazing memories.

Estupenda aventura. Hicimos el sendero con snorkel y me sorprendió gratamente tanto el recorrido como la cala. ¡Tuvo mucho más aventura de lo que esperaba! Los senderos tienen cierta dificultad ya que en bastantes tramos se bordean las montañas o se baja o sube por sitios muy empinados donde es imprescindible agarrarse a las rocas con las manos. ¡Muy divertido! Pero recomiendo llevar calzado preparado para montaña. No es un simple paseo. La guía de Fernanda fue magnífica y tanto ella como Javier estuvieron muy atentos a nuestro hijo para que todo fuera bien. Seguro que repetiremos más aventuras con ellos cuando volvamos por la zona. ¡Muchas gracias!

La organización de la empresa fue fabulosa y los guías de barranco, David y Javi, súper profesionales. Great fun!! Journey from Nerja was hassle free, and made fun and informative by our guide, David. Everything catered for, he even gave us a beer at the end of the trip! Water or juice also available at no extra cost. The canyon was amazing! Jumping into numerous pools from various heights, making our way thru the Rio verde, there were many small waterfalls, it was magical. Abseiling down one waterfall, that was awesome too!! All in all a great day. Highly recommended Muchas Gracias David

Me and my wife joined this tour,we were so happy that we did it, definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Andalucia. Javier was such a great guide and what he sometimes missed in spoken English he compensated in kindness, empathy and professionalism, I felt I could trust him 100%, and I have trust issues (JK). Definitely would recommend to everyone to do this experience. About the experience itself it was longer and more diverse than we anticipated, also challenging, but we believe that any person with an average physical capability can do it.

Had a brilliant Canyoning trip to beautiful Río Verde. Group size was small and David and Xaverio made our trip amazing. Communication was also smooth and a special transport (I came from Grenada) was organized. If I will be in the area again I will book a new trip definitely!

Esta semana, un Martes de Septiembre de 2022, he hecho el cañón con mi hijo de 15 años junto a los guías de Local Experiences David y Javier. Me los recomendó un amigo y sinceramente acertó. Hace años que no hago barrancos, pero sigo familiarizado con ello, así que desde mi experiencia, puedo decir que funcionan a la perfección. Puntuales en la recogida, con explicaciones durante el camino, que hicieron más agradable el desplazamiento y buenos profesionales durante la actividad. Al llegar al inicio de lo que es el descenso en si, nos dieron una barrita energética y al acabar unos productos de comer, basados en frutos secos, dátiles, melón, chorizo, humus y no recuerdo si alguna cosita más, junto diferentes bebidas, agua, refrescos, cerveza. Sinceramente los recomiendo totalmente

We did barranquismo with guide David and Javi on the rio verde. From the meeting at meeting point to the end of the experience everything was well organised. The canyonig itself was amazing fun and the guides were very professional and fun. They kept taking pictures and videos of us the whole time as well so we have a plenty of material to share and remember. We did slides, up-sailing, and jumps. There was always way to avoid the jumps for those who didn't want to jump but also we could climb back and repeat the best ones. The guides didn't have problem with that. At the start they gave us energy bar and at the end little feast with selection of crisps, nuts, fruits and cold bevarage which was nice surprice and we all casually socilised before heading back. Thank you again and we will be back!

Vi hadde en fantastisk dag med juvvandring i utrolig flotte omgivelser. Det var et fleksibelt opplegg, så både små og store fikk utfordret seg med rappellering og hopp fra klipper. Guiden vår, Javier, gjorde dette til vår nye favorittutflukt.

Everything was well organised. The team was attentive all the time, they explain what you have to do and keep an eye on you. So this makes it safe but still adventurous. The team is funny and involves you all the time. I had a lot of fun! Recommended! I am looking forward to the next adventure with them! They were taking pictures with a GoPro and sent them on the same day!

Es la segunda vez que repetimos con ellos y repetiremos cada vez que vayamos al sur de visita. La primera vez hicimos descenso de barrancos y la segunda, saltos de 5 y 6 metros en Río Verde Experiencias brutales ambas!! Yo tengo mucho vértigo y , las dos veces , me han ayudado muchísimo con mi pánico a las alturas. Han conseguido que poco a poco tenga menos miedo y más decisión. Me han dado muchísima seguridad y calma . Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo!!

Una experiencia única en Málaga!! Vistas increíbles, rapel y saltos acompañados de David ( el monitor ) quien da la seguridad. Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo ya que si eres menos aventurero que otros puedes coger otro camino alternativo.

A wonderful experience! Everyone should give it a go! Rio Verde is beautiful, so much nature to see. Our host (Javi) was brilliant. He made us feel safe at all times, whilst ensuring we were always having fun! He gave you the confidence to push your limits, without ever feeling out of your comfort zone. Javi made us aware that there were easier routes if we ever felt that an obstacle was too hard for us. We had six people on our course, ranging in ages from 19 to 59 - all were able to complete the course, taking on the hardest activities. We bought the experience for my Dad's 59th birthday and he loved every minute. My Dad was able to carry out this experience despite having less than half a thumb on his left hand, so if you have any disabilities just let the team know - they will work with you if they can. I believe that anyone moderately fit will be able to complete this course, if they have the right mindset, and even the most advanced will still find it exciting. I believe the team offer an experience that is more difficult if you feel you're up to the challenge, so just ask the question. I asked a few questions before purchasing the experience and the team were very willing to provide me with all the information I required. Javi was very informative on little bits of history and facts about nature. He had a good level of English (much better than he thinks). He made us comfortable at all times and made the whole group feel like a team - everyone was cheering eachother on throughout and we were chatting as friends by the end. The finger food and beer at the end was a welcome addition too! All in all a great experience, that you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain by trying!

Experiencia top top! Era la primera vez que hacía esta actividad ( vía ferrata caminito del rey) y deciros que me encantó, desde el inicio hasta el final! quería dar las gracias a David el monitor por su profesionalidad y confianza. Recomendable 100% volveré!! A por más adrenalina y buena vibra!

The experience was one of the best ones I've had recently. The valley of Rio Verde is an amazing location, even more than usual since we had the luck to see it while flowers were blooming. The path is full of jumps (that are not mandatory, if you don't feel like doing them you can always take an alternative path) and slides, so you'll never get annoyed. David is a super guide, we felt extremely safe for the entire time and he's also very funny and entertaining. For the end of the experience he prepared a little buffet with some local food, beer and juices. I'd definitely recommend the experience :)
