We had two wonderful tours with Taste Marbella. Our first was a market tour with Michel. He shared a wealth of knowledge with us, as well as some delicious tastings. We took the “Tapas” tour on March 15, 2025 and we had an amazing experience. Michel, our tour guide, was so nice and so knowledgeable about the Spanish history, Marbella and its surrounding small towns. The food and wine, which were very diverse and plentiful, were delicious. Taste Marbella contacted us in advance to enquire about any dietary requirements we may have. I did and Michel ensured that I could eat with a peace of mind. As an aside, I discovered that I like goat cheese! It tastes so much better than the one we can get in Canada. This is truly a 5* experience in all aspects. I am so pleased with this tour and the company that runs it. Well done Taste Marbella!

So fun! We loved our Original Marbella Tapas Adventure with our guide Michel (not sure of spelling, a gentleman originally from Amsterdam 20years ago). Michel spoke great English, and was very knowledgeable of Marbella and the different restaurants we went to. It was my husband and I and our 27 year old daughter, who got the nickname “Nerdy Notetaker”😅, as she was constantly typing everything she was hearing from Michel into her phone. She loved it so much and wanted to remember EVERYTHING. I would recommend my friends visiting Marbella to take this tour for sure!

Amazing food tour of Marbella. It was great to be able to be taken around the old town with someone who knew all the best places to eat and drink. Manuel the tour guide was so good throughout and so knowledgeable of the local area and the history behind the area. It was great to be taken around the tapas bars in Marbella and see tapas restaurants that you wouldn’t find without a guide. The tapas food we were given so was delicious and couldn’t believe how much we were given. Mitch is a terrific guide and this was a perfect tour for culture, history, and the delightful food of Spain. Unlike the typical food tour walking from restaurant to restaurant, we spent most of the tastings in the Market hall, learning about the specialties. The pace was leisurely and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend if you are visiting Marbella.

We had a wonderful evening with Gina. She was very knowledgeable about Marbella and it's history. The three restaurants she took us to were lovely and very different from each other. The selection of tapas that we enjoyed were very well thought out. I loved that all the restaurant's staff knew her and were very pleasant to us. There were only the two of us on the tour but Gina kept the conversation going and it was a delight to get to know her. I highly recommend this tour in Marbella, it's a great way to see the town and learn it's rich history.

The tapas and wine were delicious, especially at La Tienda. I would definitely recommend the tour to everyone!

I was disappointed that it was an indoor market Was expecting a more traditional market Not sure why pushing it so much As tourists we are not cooking I should have read more carefully as I would rather be tasting foods from restaurants that I might return to Also limited on what I would consider Spanish food Where was the paella and no cheese And no sweet to end What is traditional Spanish dessert I still don’t know even though I went in a good tour Disappointing

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we are disappointed that you didn't have a great time, even though in the description it says that you will be visiting an indoor market showcasing produce of the area and cooked on the spot. Olives, Iberico ham, Spanish wines and fresh produce of the Alboran sea just fished the night before and cooked in front of you is as Spanish as it gets :) In Spain we don't just eat paella and cheese, there is so much more to Spanish food culture than just these stereotypes, and that is what we want to showcase on our gastronomic experiences. This tour was absolutely the best. Our guide Natalia was so knowledgeable and fun. The tasting of the different hams and learning about them was great. And best of all was the fantastic seafood lunch of the freshest and most delicious food. This tour and Natalia are winners for sure. This is a must do. I hope Natalia can also do our sherry tasting tour.

What a treat ! I organised this gastronomic tour for our group of eight, as part of a business trip, without imagining for a single moment the indelible mark the evening would leave on us. To say that the charming Natalia totally won us over would be an understatement! Beyond her friendly welcome, and her simple, clear and relevant lessons on the history and culture of the city (the impact of politics and religion on gastronomy and architecture being just one example), she introduced us to the local culture, allowing us to sample a variety of wines as we drank in her words. I thought I knew a little about Marbella, as I had visited several times, but Natalia surprised us continuously, allowing us to experience places we would never have discovered independently. Each bite of those tapas and each sip of those delicious wines was a marvel ! More than highly recommended ! FYI, our tour was the evening Wine & Tapas Testing Tour but I believe a "lunch" formula is also on offer, introducing the local market.. I'm going to have to return... with great pleasure !

Natalia was an excellent tour host. We highly recommend the Marbella market tour - Natalia taught us some of the history about food in Spain, but best of all, she took us to eat a meal that was out of this world that we would never have experienced on our own.

Natalia was such a good tour guide, very patient and fun. She explained everything in details and entertained us with some trivia games! We went to 3 different spots, a lot of different dishes, and a lot of wine! Highly recommend! Absolutely loved this tour. Natalia was a great guide and we really enjoyed the evening in her company. The restaurants were varied and interesting and Natalia was really informative about the history and Spanish culture- with just the right level of detail for people who are interested but don't want a full-on history lecture! Our group of 11 went on a food tour of Marbella with Taste Marbella Food Tours with Christina as our guide...and it was 5 stars all the way! Christina was the perfect host for our group of women - personable, knowledgeable, and such a pleasure to be around. We all felt like we gained a new friend! The tour itself was phenomenal. Our guide Ivonne took us to 3 different tapas restaurants, some of which we would definitely have missed as they were off the beaten track and more favoured by the locals. There was a great variety of the types of tapas we tasted and the food was excellent at each restaurant. Ivonne was a very welcoming and informative guide, introducing the different dishes and explaining how the Spanish customarily have their tapas. She also talked about the history of Andalusia and Marbella which was a nice extra touch. We would definitely recommend this tour with Ivonne to anyone who likes good food and would like to try a great variety tapas dishes.

Amazing tour! We have visited Marbella many times but have never done a tour and we were very pleased we did this one. My family and I visited Marbella recently and we all agreed that the Old Town Tapas Tour was the highlight of our trip! Manuel was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging as he told us all about the history of the town of Marbella and interesting facts about the amazing foods/drinks we were tasting. Everything we ate was superb and we loved learning all of the traditions behind the dishes. The wine pairings were spot on with each meal as well, especially our new favorite Verdejo wine. We loved the fact that he took us to small family-owned neighborhood joints that felt cozy and welcoming instead of touristy. The whole evening felt like we were truly immersed in the culture of the town. Instead of feeling like you were on a scheduled tour, we truly felt like we were just having an amazing meal with an old friend. Thank you Manu for such an incredible experience that we will never forget! If you are thinking about booking this food tour, do it now, you definitely won’t regret it!

Eine sehr schöne Altstadttour in der wir 3 einheimische Taps Bars besucht haben. Unsere Führerin Nicole war sehr aufmerksam , freundlich, nett und hat uns rum die Tapas und der Geschichte Marbellas alles erklärt. Obwohl ich schon diverse Male in Marbella gewesen bin, kannte ich 2 Lokale gar nicht. Es war ein sehr gelungener Abend mit sehr sehr leckeren Tapas und Getränken und einer bezaubernden Begleitung. Kann ich uneingeschränkt jedem Empfehlen.

Our guide's knowledge of the food, wine, culture, traditions and history of the Old Town and Marbella made this a truly interesting, fun and very satisfying 3 hours. I was super impressed to be introduced to several tapas I'd not tried before in tucked away bars I'd likely not have found by myself. If you're a foodie on hols in Marbella, I highly recommend this experience.

This tapas tour was amazing and our guide, Rebecca, was fantastic. Great value for the money, there was lots of food and it was great. The history of the area and the food was engaging thanks to Rebecca's fantastic presentation. Rebecca did a wonderful job of keeping everyone engaged throughout the tour. We were all good friends by the end of the evening and went on for another glass of vino afterwards!

Excellent tour . Seeing old Marbella was amazing we would never have seen this on our own. The food was wonderful and the wine went down well, We were well looked after by the tour guide Manuel who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We had a fabulous adventure thank you so much will recommend you highly

This is a wonderful tour. The food was incredibly good and Rebecca showed us places in the old town that we wouldn't have found on our own. I highly recommend this tour.

Best way to experience old town Marbella. The food was excellent and the wine was good too. Manuel, our guide definitely knew his stuff and was very entertaining. Such a great way to get to get to know the area too. I would highly recommend taking this tour.
