I can’t say enough about our trip to Spain I traveled with my daughter and two of my best friends, and we wanted a full itinerary that was cultural and accounted for our interest Jorge just was amazing It seemed that he understood us and what we really wanted Every step of the way their attention to detail details were amazing We started in Basque country He suggested a hotel that was 20 minutes away from San Sebastian and initially I wasn’t sure why I shouldn’t stay in San Sebastian, but Hondaribea and seeing the sun rise there and walking in the small tiny streets of the fisherman’s village completely filled my senses realize how George pays attention to every aspect of your trip He was very available and we had to change many things that accommodated our needs, and he was always very kind and accommodating Our hotels in Madrid, Salamanca, and Casa and ask country were all amazing And in great location George, I loved the second hotel in Madrid much more than the first hotel although both were amazing Can’t say enough about this company and how tailored their plans are to our individual needs Thank you again

Jorge planned a trip to Spain and Portugal that included many activities we wouldn't have known to book for ourselves, including a delightful cooking class, a relaxed lunch at a Douro Valley farmhouse with charming hosts, feasts in a rural village and a Lisbon market, and a hike to a waterfall. This was such a nice mix combined with the amazing cathedrals and castles. He also found us knowledgeable and patient guides, and reliable and personable drivers. We were very happy as well with the hotels he found for us. And Jorge stepped in whenever we needed a little help -- he was easy to reach during our travels. I recommend him highly.

Kudos to Jorge and his Kratons colleagues; hands down, the best travel professionals we have ever worked with. During the planning phase, Jorge provided patient, knowledgeable guidance that allowed us to customize a two-week itinerary that suited our foursome's diverse interests and needs. The hotels he selected in each of our four base cities (Madrid, Sevilla, Porto and Lisbon) were charming, accommodating, well located, and suited us to a tee. Every driver was punctual, and every guide was professional, personable, and also local to the area we toured, which added depth to the experience. Among the many activities and day trip's we enjoyed was our Flamenco show and dinner in Madrid, where Jorge reserved for us the best table in the house; our day trip to Toledo; our cooking class in Seville, where learned to make almond gazpacho and seafood paella that we then happily consumed on the professional kitchen's adjoining rooftop with a cityscape view; our daytrip to Cordoba, where our entertaining guide navigated us through the amazing city sites and topped it off with wine and nibbles on his friend's rooftop patio; our Porto tapas tour and day trip to the Douro valley, where we tasted magnificent wine and drank homemade Port with a local family who our guide arranged to host us for a delightful lunch; and our Lisbon city tour and daytrip to Sintra with a super guide. Throughout the trip, Jorge remained ever present in the background to provide support and super promptly make requested adjustments. Thank you, Jorge and Kratons for an amazing trip!

We would rate Kratons Travel above and beyond the 5 star rating. Our trip through Spain- Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla and Malaga was amazing. The tours, transportation and hotels were exceptionally planned. Jorge was always available and patient in answering our questions. We cannot praise or recommend anyone more highly than Kratons Travel. Kratons would be our first and only choice on any Spain/Portugal/ Morocco trip

My wife and I along with 3 other couples travelled to Portugal for 2 weeks using Jorges Marques through KRATONS. We had a wonderful experience as we moved through 4 locations during this trip. Everything was seamless as drivers and guides always appeared on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. Jorge worked with us to fine tune our itinerary. Jorge and Kratons provided my wife and I with an awesome 2-week trip to Spain and Portugal. Our itinerary through Barcelona, the Rioja wine region, Madrid, Granada, Lisbon, Porto, and the Douro Valley was expertly organized, and went off without a hitch. All of the drivers, tour guides, hotels, and events were perfect in every way. He was always available to handle questions, and really come through for us during an unforeseen emergency on our part. Jorge with Kratons Travel Agency planned a 15 day trip for me and my wife. We went to Barcelona, Spain and many cities along the coast of Portugal. We had many personal guided tours, boat rides, tours and lot of good food/wine. I highly recommend Jorge and his team.

Jorge planned a wonderful mother/daughter trip to Spain for us. It was the perfect blend of food, fun, history, culture and adventure. His attention to detail was perfecto and allowed us to relax and enjoy all that Spain had to offer.

My wife and and I had a truly great trip to Morocco and Portugal in March/April thanks to Jorge at Kratons. He expertly planned a trip which included 8 days in Morocco including the desert and most major cities and 7 days in Portugal including Porto, Douro Valley and Lisbon. We had private drivers and tours most places who were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. The accommodations were comfortable and even luxurious in some cases and very well located so we could explore and find good restaurants close by. Each driver arrived precisely on time, or even early, for pick ups and all guides were punctual and extremely knowledgeable. All the excursions and sightseeing which Jorge planned were great.In my opinion, the private tour is vastly superior to group tours because the focus is on your interests alone and the amount of information you receive is much greater. In addition the flexibility of modifying the itinerary is another benefit. The trip could not have been better and Jorge and Kratons did a magnificent job.

Jorge with Kratons Travel Agency planned my family of 4 the most spectacular and luxurious 2 week trip around Portugal . We traveled to and enjoyed the highlights of Lisbon, the romantic architecture in Sintra , the incredible history of Evora , the beautiful coastline of the Algarve , the laid back atmosphere and gorgeous scenery of Madeira , and the beautiful historical bustling city of Porto and then stunning scenery of the Douro valley. Jorge’s suggestions and bookings were all perfectly aligned with what we had envisioned and the accommodations booked were all beautifully appointed and family oriented . 5 star hotels that catered to the entire family with indoor pools and kids greeted with backpacks and toys at the door and nightly treats on pillows . The tour guides booked were all very knowledgeable and kind . They were patient with my two and four year old and taught us all so many new amazing things. Every day was a highlight but I would say my girls really enjoyed the tile painting as well as the pastel de nata making workshops. My husband and I really enjoyed Evora and Sintra and truly seeing the beauty and history of it all. We absolutely fell in love with Portugal , the culture , the food . My only regret is not having more time so we could’ve seen the azores as well and stayed even longer . We so look forward to Jorge planning us another perfect vacation in the near future !

We just returned from a lovely trip to Portugal. We visited Lisbon, Porto, Douro Valley, Tavira and Evora. We wanted to do this trip in 8 days, and Jorge made it happen. Every detail was planned seamlessly. In fact, we had a bit of a hiccup in Douro Valley. We reached out to Jorge, who immediately remedied the issue. He is really fantastic at his job! Jorge planned our trip to Barcelona last year, which is why we used his services again. If we return to Portugal, we will likely stay for a week in Lisbon and explore the wider area. That said, whether you want a pleasant and restful escape in Europe or a multi city tour moving from place to place, we highly recommend Jorge. As far as Portugal, Lisbon is a busy place. The Alfama and Downtown areas however, are steeped in history and charm. Be prepared to walk up hills while peering through the windows of the charming stores or taking in the ever present culture. Fabulous city. We also traveled a few miles outside Lisbon to Sintra, a magical village with an equally magical hillside castle. Views are incomparable. We took in the Atlantic Coastline in the beautiful Cascais. On a clear day, you really can see forever. Douro Valley's charm is as good as its port wines. We took a ride on the Douro River...which I highly recommend...and took in the entire beauty of the Valley, it's numerous wineries and its beautiful hills. In the south of Portugal, we experienced Tavira and Evora, packed with charm, beauty and serenity. In all, our trip was simply lovely. We packed and unpacked a lot, yes, but lovely. However, when you visit anyplace for the first time, why not take it all in. So we are responsible for all the packing and unpacking. As stated, Jorge organized a trip for us that made all the travel easy and worthwhile. Please do not hesitate to contact him for your perfect travel experience.
